I made an apt early in the morning with this spa for a full set & a pedicure and obviously we are in the Chicago and the mask mandate has lifted. Well I get to the apt, only for them to tell me you need a mask and they have none available to you if needed. That’s more then $100 they missed out on. Not to mention the girl working the door had a rude attitude as well.
This was mine and my mom’s first time visiting this nail salon and our expectations were blown away! The place was clean and I loved that they used new tools for each person. They were busy, but still managed to find time for us and still did not rush our pedicure. Cindy did my pedicure and she took her time and was very friendly! My mom and I will definitely be going back here, we have found our new nail salon.
They always do a great job and the (new?) girl at the desk is really helpful. I wanted no chip on my finger nails and regular polish on my toenails. She took the time to find a brand that made the same color in both no chip and regular polish so there was no fuss about matching. Yay!
Often times when I’m there, I am surprised by the total. It usually doesn’t add up to what I calculate or what I’m told. It’d be helpful if they’d have their pricing menu shown somewhere in the salon. I’ve noticed there has been a recent change of ownership and workers. These owners seem more organized and don’t over pack their schedules. The nail techs are good at what they do and are not rushing because of that.
My first time trying Gossip Nails & Spa and I am seriously impressed with their service. Josie did such a wonderful job , paid so much attention to detail and made my nails just like I wanted them to look. I love it and Ill be returning soon, probably my new go to nail salon. I also recommend Zill, he is also great with dip powder ombre designs. Thank you Gossip Nails 😊
I always have a great experience here. I know the old owners/management had problems with the way things were run, but they do a great job!
Great atmosphere, great customer service and great place overall. The owners are super nice and very attentive. The staff is great I love that they listen to me and any concerns I have and always help me make up my mind on color by giving me ideas. Macy did a wonderful job on my nails and pedicure today. Ive only had one bad experience here long ago and I let the owner Sam know right away I wasnt satisfied with my nails and he personally fixed them himself making me leave happy and keeping me as a customer. Gossip nails is deff the place to go too. I suggest the gossip treatment pedicure and for natural nails get Dip manicure makes your nails healthy strong and long 😊
Gossip Nails is my FAVORITE nail salon! I always ask for something with a design or whatever is trendy and my nail tech never fails to amaze me. I would think that my nails would be 70+ with all the designs I do but they always end up to be extremely reasonably priced!
First time here and I was super pleased with the service i received. Mia did a great job on my dipped nails...took her time to make sure they came out perfect and they sure did.My first impression walking in was how nice and classy the salon looked. Definitely not your average nail salon. Will definitely be a regular!

I was long overdue for a pedicure. I decided to go to a new spot and I’m huge on reviews. This location had the best review near me. Staff was friendly, place was clean, and Tom was meticulous! I enjoyed my pedi so much I decided to also get a no chip mani to match. I will be returning!
Worst service ever they give attitude they put what nail design they want to do they cut my granddaughter finger and didn’t even acknowledge it they are very over priced they argue with you when you don’t like something they did I would highly recommend to think twice before going in there are other highly experienced nail salons in Addison I will never go back 😱😱😱
Samuel, Jennifer, and Anna are super friendly! Always checked in to see if we were enjoying our experience. Offered drinks. While they were working on my dip nails my pedicure got messed up and they fixed it right away. Its clean, quiet, and peaceful. They currently have a 20% discount. I definitely recommend and will be coming back again.
Gossip Nails is a hidden gem! Finding a great nail technician can be just as difficult as finding a hairdresser, dentist or OBGYN. I gave this salon a try 6 weeks ago and have had three dip procedures. The amount of dip color selections is numerous! The salon is very clean, neat & organized and the staff are very friendly.They also have a rewards program that includes a gift certificate for your birthday.This salon has been under new ownership for the past 4 months and they are doing a GREAT job!! The salon manager, Samuel is wonderful! Not only is he the manager, he also is a nail technician who is very skilled at the dip technique. He truly cares about his customers and wants to ensure that you have a positive experience. Give Gossip Nails a chance, you will not be disappointed!
They are very rude!! I made a appointment for 5:30. I got there @ 5:20... It was packed.. i was told to pick a color and have a seat for a moment. Its was at 6 that i finally got to a table. I showed the guy what i wanted and he was rude saying that he couldnt do it the way i wanted it done. So i got up and when i was leaving he was snickering under his breath saying dont come back!? wow. Trust i will never be back and i wont sent anyone to get their nails done here..
I have been at many salons and Gossip nails is by far the best nails salon anywhere! Samuel is very professional and I will tell you he does such a great job! My nails are beautiful!!. When you walk in he and everyone makes you feel so welcome. You have to try Gossip nails to experience such a pleasure to have your nails done. I could go on and on! All I can say is I am so glad I was able to find a salon that is wonderful!!
First time there and I was a walk in and was taken care of right away. Maci did my nails and she did an amazing job. I told her I didn’t want thick dip looking nails and she made them look so natural and added my design like I asked.
This is the only place Ill go anymore. Its super clean & comfortable. Every time Ive gone Ive had a different technician & each one of them has done a beautiful job. Im super particular about my pedicures & Ive never been disappointed at Gossip.
Let me start by saying that this may be my first review I have ever taken the time to write, as I am that upset by this experience. Also, my friend and I receive regular pedicures, but thought we would try a new location...We made an appointment on Monday for 5:15 pm several days in advance, and we showed up at 5:10pm. They started us soaking our feet at 5:40pm and we still had our feet soaking at 6:05pm when they finally started. What upset me the most is that there was no sense of urgency to get started on our feet, and unfortunately the disappointment didn’t end there. The lady doing my friend’s pedicure was filing her toenails extremely rough to the point where she flinched and expressed her discomfort to the technician, and even then continued and caused her to bleed during her pedicure. When we confronted her, she was unable to explain the issue in English, and when another technician spoke to the manager they offered a $5 discount, which does not fix the now bleeding toe and chance of infection. It was also noticed that the technician was not wearing gloves while treating the injury. The technician doing my nails worked very sloppily and I did not feel that she took the time and effort on my toes that should have been especially after an extremely long and unnecessary wait. Gossip Nails was a contender for my wedding party nail location, but after this experience it is not longer the place we will be using and I will also never come back. Do NOT get your nails done here. — I will say that the owner did come up to us at the end to apologize and did not have her pay, so it was attempted to be fixed, but unfortunately does not change our stance on returning.
This place was beautiful, clean and my nail technician was amazing. She made sure my nails were on point and actually did her best. Great prices. Highly recommend getting your nails done here.

Beautiful atmosphere and service. Everyone is very helpful and courteous. This is my second time going here with no appointment and never had to wait. Iv had horror stories from everywhere I went but this place has changed my mind and makes me want to get my nails done again. Most importantly its pain free ! Thanks gossip :)
I decided to give this place a try after getting nail fungus from lovely nails twice!!! I knew I had to change nail place. I was very surprise by the service here the use new tools for every client or at least sterilized and packaged. You get a nice neck wrap and the people are nice. Definitely my new nail place.
A wonderful clean place with amazing attentive technicians. The decor has been recently updated - new chairs, antibacterial liners for pedicure bowls, lots of polish shades to choose from. My favorite is the orange scrub - where the scrub is applied and rubbed with a slice of fresh orange - extra exfoliating fruit acid power and amazing smell. Would definitely be back soon!!! i❤️
Not profesional at all. Showed the picture of the nails I wanted and got completely something else. The technician blamed it on me stating that i wasn’t clear enough. The color is not spread evenly and each nail has a different shape. I gave this salon a chance as is closer to home but I definitely will not be coming back. My other salon charges me less and I get way better customer service there than here.
I appreciate the NTs time and attention during both no chip mani and regular pedi but the no chip on my hands was done 10 days ago and it was chipping by day 7. Right now it is almost off on all my nails :( What a waste of time and $!

I went in to get a pedicure and an acrylic set. I wanted my acrylic set to be french tip for a wedding I needed to attend. The nail technician named Tina said they cannot do french tip and I can only do french tip with gel nails. I asked her how much would my total be (since I came with only $55 which included tip AND I TOLD HER THAT) she said it would be $65. So I said no and just got normal acrylic nails. When it was time to pay I was getting my money out of my wallet and Tina was LITERALLY LOOKING OVER ME to see my wallet to confirm that I only had $55 dollars on me. That made me VERY uncomfortable because that is NOT professional and its very RUDE to do to a CUSTOMER. I even gave her a generous tip in which she did NOT deserve.
First time here and I loved it ! Samuel makes you feel very welcomed. And Jennifer did a amazing job. The grapefruit sugar and pineapple cuticle oil is amazing!!! I have already set up my appointment for next time !! I love it
Beautiful work on my nails (dip), but got nail bed infection on 4 nails and thumb had to be lanced and drained. Unsure equipment was cleaned. Saw tools pulled from drawer not packing or sterilizing solution.
Daughter got her nails done and she loved them.They need a receptionist though, its kind of rude for a manicurist to stop in the middle of her work just to get to the cash register or to answer the phone whist doing a hands on job.
I was really looking forward to giving them a try since the place I usually go to just raised their prices. I called at 6PM asked if they could take me in for a pedi for the same day and made an appt. for 6:15. At 6:30 I was told they were behind and it would 20 min. wait. If I made an appointment why should I wait 35minutes? Perhaps they need to stop over booking. Needless to say I left and went right across the street to Nias.
Absolutely amazing place! Can’t say enough great things about this place. Best nail salon in Addison hands down. Clean, friendly, and so professional. I highly recommend Samuel. You will not be disappointed.
Really busy right now and it’s booked I had a fill and I’ve been going around two places for the last couple months and so far this is the best place very natural looking versus thick and Godey and unshaped these are perfectly shaped and not so heavy looking love it I believe the guys name is Tom or Tim that did my nails thank you

Most accommodating nail place I’ve ever been to. Clean, friendly, and always willing to assist when I can’t pick a nail color which is every visit lol. I’ve been a customer since Samuel opened the nail salon.
Went here yesterday. My friend and I didnt have a great experience. The lady Maci I had didnt do a good massage even after I asked to go a little gard with it, I dont think she hard me but just a very soft rub, and didnt enjoy it for $60 I spent. I wouldnt comee back here.
Trust n believe I’m all for tipping good service, but don’t ring me up asking me if I’m adding my tip on my card or if I have cash. Rude as hell , never going again.

2022-08-23I’ve been getting my nails done for years and have never had such a bad experience. The guy who did my nails cut me twice where it was visibly bleeding. He never said sorry or anything and just kept going where I then said I will need to wash my hands to clean the cuts. The nails themselves turned out terribly. They are misshapen, have weird bubbles in them, and aren’t even painted on the whole nail. It’s not even been one day yet and they have already chipped, when they are no chip. I will not be returning.

2021-07-11I went to get a very basic no-chip manicure here for the first time and I will never be going back. I was very disappointed with my service. I can only speak for my own experience and for the quality of work I got from the nail technician I had, which was Cindy. I don’t know if she’s new but she had an extremely hard time painting my nails. She kept leaving my nails all clumpy and bumpy after every coat she applied. I kept asking her kindly to smooth the nail polish because you could see her brush strokes and it was going to set like that. She got very annoyed and frustrated and didn’t seem like she wanted to fix my nails because she said “she didn’t see the problem”. I even hit one of my nails on the towel on the table and she pretended not to see that my nail got messed up and told me to put it in the UV lamp. When I asked if she could please fix it she said, “where?” But it was very clear where the nail got messed up. Some my nails came out so so after I had to keep telling her to fix them, but here are some that I gave up on because she didn’t want to fix them. Here are some pictures of the bumps. 2021-07-25Gossip Nail is the absolute best!! They treated us amazing to the tropical Hawaiian pedicure! They are super clean, professional, and very generous, and sweet! We had a friend come to town for his first pedicure ever and this was one of the best pedicure experiences I have ever had! Next time I will be coming back and getting the milk and honey treatment! They’re so amazing! Will for sure be back ASAP!

2022-06-29I don’t usually write reviews, but I can’t let this one go. I’m warning those that I had the most painful pedicure where my cuticles were bleeding! I had to pull away and scream, “Ouch!”. The whole experience was painful, from the cuticles getting pushed back to the stinging alcohol that they used after I was bleeding. The person doing my pedicure didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. After I told the man up front as I was paying that the pedicure was so painful and that I was not happy, he looked at my feet and said, “I’m sorry.” That was it. I still got charged full price with no discounts offered. I don’t usually complain, but I paid $30 plus tip, because I don’t want to be that person, to walk out with what felt like toe surgery. He had the nerve to say, “Have a nice day” as I was leaving. Really bad customer service. Now I have to worry about infection. Pedicures should be relaxing, not horrific. I will not be returning and please beware for your safety!

2021-10-22To start off they do a good job with acrylics but… when I go there for a no chip manicure the first time they did a good job the guy did it and 2&3 time going there the pictures that you see below was the second time I went I asked the lady for a square shape as you can see the nails aren’t the same length and doesn’t even look like a square shape.

2022-08-03Owner JC VERYrude & unprofessional!! Hes been charging me for a full set for over a year-Dip with brush application is same as acrylic. He would TAKE OFF all my nails each time which is not necessary when getting same color applied- its considered a fill in at ALL other salons!!! When I asked him why he charged me $5 more this time which became $55.00 now and why he takes all nails off when it should be a fill with same color he became very rude. Im very disappointed at how he picks and chooses who he will scam... Be ware of this place!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL . Rockstar nails in Bloomingdale treats everyone the same with respect ALWAYS!!! JC thinks he can scam people and gets defensive when he gets busted!!! I own a business and would never think of doing that to my customers!!!

2022-08-23Started out great but they have a very high turnover of employees so you would find a good person and by your next appointment their gone. They overbook and make you wait even with a appointment. Their work done now is very poor.

2021-03-03Very friendly staff. After getting pedicure I ruined my toe nails when put on shoes , but saw the problem after I got home. I called and they had no problem to fix it for me with no charge. I recommend this place. They are good.

2022-08-07I have been going to gossip nails for quite a while now. I started seeing Kelly she was doing a good job until one day she literally glued on a fake nail sideways, not straight. When I brought it to her attention and showed her it wasnt on correctly Kelly got extremely upset and pawned me off to another person. Tracy was the one who started doing my nails she is extremely amazing at dip nails I highly recommend Tracy. I have called and gone up there several times to to get my nails redone and they have not answered the phone and going up there in person they were just extremely rude and telling me theyre all booked up every single time it has been going on for months now. I have recently started got to Nias Modern Nail Salon in Addison. Everyone there is extremely nice and are the same price. I went to make several appointments at Gossip Nails after I posted my review and I believe the review I left is the reason they had no avaiablity everytime I went in to get my nails done. I even called tracy direclty to see if she can fit me in. Tracy said she doesnt feel comfortable doing my nails because I left the review. I explained to Tracy that I gave her nothing but praise and she still refused to do my nails. They forced me to go else where, which is not what I wanted.
