Goodwill Store & Donation Center in other cities:
Few things I like about good will is if you look around youll find new(brand) items with prices attached, but everything varies as there is no multiples of any given item, the second would be they buy target returns, more than likely you find brand new items everytime you go to good will from target. third customer is is good, Ive never encountered any type of problem. fourth there coupon system, every 100$ spentvyou get 5$ coupon. fifth they have promotions on tags every week I think it changes today the promo was the orange tag it was 50 % off the price. over all well lit, well organized, staff is going around the isles straightening out, clean, washrooms are clean over all this location good job.
Clean, friendly staff that speak English, not cramped by people so you can take your time looking in peace. I always find a vintage treasure, a brand new clothing item or things for my house. A lot of clean, organized clothes for everyone. Decent selection of used furniture. Plenty of fitting rooms that you just go in and try on, no waiting on someone to unlock it for you. Must go!
They dont understand their own pricing scheme. The sign that says, Albums $0.99 apparently means that with an unmarked album they will count each individual record INSIDE of each album and charge you per record. Too lazy to price individual items because it takes up their precious employees time yet want to make up BS to charge more than their blanket price for items. Would not visit this store again with the slow managers that are on staff.
Goodwill is a for profit. The owners yearly salary is over a million dollars and he lives in a multi million dollar mansion. None of the proceeds from selling your stuff goes to help anyone but the owner. He employes anyone and never really the disadvantaged. Just regular employees. Many teenagers.
I just left store a hour ago and noticed once I was home that I was charged more on my item. I called back the store & was told to come back and bring my receipt back and my piece of furniture witch I had trouble fitting in my car to begin with. I have two babys with me one very cracky and another with medical supplies to carry. So FOR ME to go back there with my piese of furniture that I already pulled out the car is just unbelievable. Its not a lot that was over charged but I am definitely upset. This is not the First time that This LOCATION has made a mistake. The first time this Women I believe name was Carol was VERY rude and embarrassed my sister in front of other customers. I walked up very upset and decided to let it go. This time I felt to call say say something and I was disappointed to what manager said and how he just sounded like he did not believe me that j was over charged! Its not about the money for me its about how I dont even get a apologie. This will be the last time I ever shop at this location! And I do shop at goodwill a lot but not no more from this location I would take the drive to Naperville Location instead!

2022-05-22Good selection, clean store and friendly employees. For donations there is a convenient drop off on the side of the building. I just found two like new button down work shirts there for 5 bucks each.

2022-07-09Seriously times are hard for alot of people. Yet Goodwill having everything donated think its ok to charge new prices. 10.00 for a used sauce pan. I will definitely not going back. Couldnt afford to purchase anything so there are no pictures to post

2022-05-16Always love shopping at Goodwill. Its getting to be overpriced though and I look less and less forward to shipping their because of this. I mean, jeez, the items are donated. Its crazy asking retail.

2021-10-03I was shocked to see dollar tree items for Halloween and fall decor being sold for double the price? I thought the point of Goodwill was to help those less fortunate not over charge them!! Shameful!! Wont be returning to this location!

2020-12-11Idk if its just me, but I feel like all good wills smell the same way. This goodwill always has a large variety of items to chose from, not the most clean or neat but as a thrift store I cant expect much. All the employees I have encountered have been nice

2021-01-31My dad knowing little spanish was treated rudely by and employee, the woman had no patience and got in his face. My dad was not doing what she was saying, but at the same time she should have been more understanding even after i told her she seemed rude. As we were leaving she stood at the exit of the door staring at us entering the car and leaving. Made me feel really uncomfortable.
