I have been with the same dentist for almost 20 years and the past couple years havent been happy but was scared to leave because of being comfortable and starting somewhere new. Im not a Big Fan of change. I found GH Family Dental online and saw some pretty great reviews so gave it a shot. I went in yesterday and it was so nice and clean. They are up to the times on technology. They went over every tooth with me, showing me pictures etc and we came up with a plan together. Ginger was so friendly and Amazing and made me feel more comfortable and when Dr. Patel came in she was very nice too. Jessica and the girls at the Reception Desk where very nice and informative. Everyone was very thorough with my plan of action and they went over the price breakdowns as well. I felt very comfortable and welcome and so so happy with my decision to switch to them. my only regret is that I didnt go to them sooner. Thanks Guys... so much.
Dr. Patel has always been very attentive and caring when it comes to my teeth. I feel very comfortable and feel Im in good hands every time. Her entire staff is also very warm and welcoming. I definitely would recommend Glendale Heights Family Dental to all my friends and family!

I am a new patient at Glendale Heights Family Dental, and Im feeling very satisfied with my choice to make an appointment here. By the end of my first consultation, Dr. Patel and staff had crafted a treatment plan, reviewed it carefully with me, broke down costs, and answered all the questions I had. Not only that, but everyone has been super friendly, responsive and professional during each visit. I am confident that my teeth and gums will be in much better shape after the quality of work I have received here!
Highly recommend! I felt safe and taken care of bringing my daughters to the office during this pandemic. The ladies in the office provided clear instructions when coming in for our appointment &office was very clean and sanitary. Everyone was wearing masks and taking proper precaution. I brought my daughters in for cavities they needed filled. It was their first time having this done and Dr Bakshi was so patient with them and really took her time to make them feel comfortable.
This dentist’s office is absolutely wonderful! Everyone there is so kind and help when it comes to any dental procedure a person would have to get done there. They walk you through every step of the process, including explain all payments/payment plans. I would recommend this to anyone in the area!
So I haven’t seen a dentist in 4 years and I’m one of those folks that is just terrified of any type of pain. 4 years ago when I visited an office it was nice but my dental hygienist kept complaining and the dentist at most spent 5 mins seeing me. I walked out of there never to return. Since now.....and what a difference in experience at Glendale Heights Family Dental. Dr Bhumika Patel really took care of me. Also the dr’s assistant Jocelyn was amazing. I have never felt so relaxed at a dentist’s before. They both made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I’m having 8 cavities filled and will be going back to get my wisdom teeth out and surprised to say I’m not scared to go back at all cause I know I’m in good hands. After having experienced other doctors and offices with my experience in having braces and regular check ups...I thought I would just give up (and I did for awhile). However seeing Dr Patel and Jocelyn just changed my outlook. If you fear going to the dentist office, trust me and go here. They will take care of you!
Highly recommend!Super clean office.Everyone is wearing masks and they are taking extra precautions for dental appointments which is a plus because I can tell ** they care about MY safety **Scheduling was easy with Yocy she was able to get me in for an emergency on the same day.Office is in network with my dental insurance PPO.Dr. Patel was thorough with my dental exam. Had a laser procedure as well as my cleaning which felt amazing got rid of all the bad bacteria in my gums!Also I like the fact that I am able to see the specialist in the same office which is a plus because I do not have to search for another provider that will take my insurance.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. They left two of my teeth sawed down for a cavity filling just to tell me I need a root canal after the fact. I actually left with both teeth sanded down. They then recommended two different orthodontist doctors to handle my teeth. I called them and asked for details to who I needed see next and details of what was next just to have“Maria” in the front office get upset with me. I was only asking about the next procedure and with who. I’m 43 years old so I only recommend kids here for simple procedures. These so called dentists are definitely right out of college.Just seen the response from owner. My response is this was the right office. Maria probably doesn’t work there anymore and Patel who I spoke with was the one who said she would do a filling and sanded me down just to say “No you need root canals”. Didn’t even put a temporary filling. I had to go to Walgreens to buy the putty and do it myself.
Our entire family has been going here for more than a year. We had our cleaning and other services including Endodontist services done here. Service is great and staff is always welcoming. Clean office, prompt service, fair billing and very accommodating for entire family. I would like to mention that Dr Patel and Hygienist worked very patiently on a busy day with my 5 year old who was not co-operating. Also, Jessica has always been very helpful. Thanks to Dr Patel, Dr Hammad, Jessica, Nikki and rest of the staff for excellent service. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for great dental services.
I switched to Dr. Patel because I felt I needed a better dentist to care for my teeth. Dr. Patel is younger but knowledgeable, experienced, and enthusiastic. I feel my teeth are in good hands with her and her staff who will work with you and listen to any problems you might encounter. She shows very good judgment in the people she hires to work for and with her. Dr. Khan, her endodontist, is excellent. He makes you feel so comfortable and calm in an otherwise stressful situation. Her office is clean, modern, and welcoming to all. I fully recommend Dr. Patel for anyone seeking great dental care in a pleasant environment.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for a year now and I highly recommend her. Both she and her staff are very friendly and they always try to make you comfortable during your visit. Her new office is really clean and modern, which does not make you feel like you are at the dentist! Most people do not like going to the dentist but Dr. Patel is really gentle with her approach, which really helps put you at ease. You will not be disappointed if you see Dr. Patel - she is fantastic!
Took my son in for his first dental check up (6/20/2020). Scheduled my appointment with jocey she made it super easy and was able to get me in on a saturday based on my work schedule. They took my son’s insurance. The office was super precautions with everything going on. Super clean office. Monica was the one who checked us in. She was very welcoming. It only took them 5 mins to take us to the room. The hygienist was amazing. She explained everything in details. My son was very happy. Also, dr patel was great. I’m very happy with the service and We can’t wait for another check up in 6 months. I highly recommend this place. Happy baby, happy momma 😄

Staff was awesome! From the walk in aspect of my visits to the walk out. Dental office is state of the art and clean. Staff is friendly and professional. Dr.Patel made sure to answer all my questions, address my concerns and helped me feel at ease during all my procedures. I’m not a huge fan of dental offices, because of my anxiety, but all my visits here have been great thus far ! I highly recommend you consider them for any future dental work.
Coming to Glendale Heights Family dental has been a great experience for me. The staff are very nice and considerate, very professional and do amazing work. Everyone here is very patient and kind. I tend to be a big baby about oral pain, but theyre all very understanding, especially Dr. Patel. She took the time to answer all my questions, too - I didnt feel like she was in a hurry to get to the next patient. Its the most comfortable Ive ever been at a dentist before! Theyre also very flexible about scheduling appointments.
My daughter doesnt like going to the dentist due to a bad experience she had with a previous dentist. Before her appointment with Dr Patel she was very nervous but the Dr and staff put her at ease. Dr Patel was quick, thorough and efficient. My daughter was amazed and greatfull with the whole experience. :)
Doctor Patel and her team are amazing, very caring, and thorough and give you an honest run down of prices and won’t nickel and dime you like some dentist offices I have been to. They are very friendly and pleasant and sweet people and make you feel right at ease. Especially with calling in and having to change my appointment a few times Jessica was very sweet and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.
I’ve gone through several dentists over the years, and boy do I wish I knew about Dr. Patel and the GH Family Dental staff sooner. I put off getting my teeth taken care of for a decade and it showed, I had to get a lot of work done. So far, I’ve received a deep cleaning, a laser gum procedure, a crown put in, and 4 cavities drilled and filled. Dr. Patel is some kind of wizard, she’s done each and every one of these procedures incredibly quickly and with a negligible amount of pain - and thats not her fault, she needed to go real deep for the tooth that needed a crown, otherwise I could barely tell I was being worked on for the cavity procedures. I highly, highly, recommend coming here for any dental work you need, with or without insurance (I don’t have insurance myself, but I don’t regret a dime I’ve spent here). I don’t know what else to say without sounding like I’m being paid to write this, so just take my word and make an appointment here.
The whole staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Patel is amazing! She filled two cavities in 15 minutes without the need of pain medication. Great communication skills as well, I felt like I was in good hands. Highly recommend GH Family Dental!

It was my first time going to Dr. Patel and I loved how clean and wonderful her new office is. It was the first time in general for my daughter to be to a dentist and they made her feel so safe and she had so much fun at the dentist. Not many kids come out saying that! The technology is great as well.. she was able to show me some concerns on a screen right in front of me. It really was a great experience.

Dr. Bhumika Patel, as well as Ginger (the hygienist) and Jessica (front desk staff) deserve an awesome 5-STAR rating for providing me with the best dental care money can buy. They, as a team, made sure that my expectations were met (they even exceeded my expectations) from their practice. They have provided me with detailed information regarding my dental condition, appropriate treatment plans, as well as financing options. Dr. Patel eased my fear of dental procedures by first explaining why it is needed and what it does to my teeth (a trait NOT found in most dentists), and explained detail-by-detail the x-rays and photographs taken during the cleaning procedure. Kudos to Glendale heights family dental! Glendale Heights Family Dental is a shining example of quality at its finest in dentistry. I was delighted with the way Dr Bhumika Patel managed my case. She and her staff (Ginger and Jessica) are friendly, and are transparent to deal with. The clinic is clean and fitted with state-of-the-art equipment, and parking is not a problem as well. One can have his own cup of coffee or bottle of water anytime, for free. Where else can one possibly have all these?Two weeks after my first visit, my son followed suit. I know what is best for my family, and its here !

I have been seeing Dr. Shah for last 3 years and finally she opened up her new practice. She is always to the point and have felt that she recommends treatment when it is absolutely necessary. She is always on time and books her appointment such that she can spend enough time with each patient and not run behind. This is one of the main reason I l am going to continue to see Dr. Shah even though her new clinic is out of the way for me.Her new practice is state of the art. Comes with free Keurig coffee in waiting room and extremely modern machines and new patient set. I would highly recommend it to people to check out Glendale Heights Family dental.

Having gone to the same dentist for my entire life and sort of being forced to find a new one, I was pleasantly surprised coming to this new practice. The staff are kind and courteous, prompt with appointment times and the dentist is very involved in the exam, performing a majority of the work - which I was completely not used to. Everything in the office implements new tech and given my prior experience, the work they do is a more comprehensive oral healthcare.

The customer services is amazing, the staff is friendly, confident, and very thorough. I had a root canal and cleaning so far. They really run down all the things you need to get you on the right track. No one likes going to the dentist but i was very comfortable here.
The entire staff is Amazing! They are kind, gentle, and non-judgemental... they always make me feel welcome and comfortable. I had neglected my oral health and was somewhat ashamed and they were reassuring that they could help me and I could improve my oral health. They are all so genuinely caring and make me feel important and not like a paycheck... I am so blessed that I found them... they have helped me with all their knowledge and I have now improved my oral health greatly! I am incredibly thankful for them and what they have done for me! ♡♡♡ I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to care of their mouth!

Beautiful Office!!! The doctor and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have heard horror stories about root canal but the doctor has very soft hand and I felt very comfortable when she did root canal. I had NO Pain!!! Added Bonus: I was seen ON TIME for my appointment!!!

I love Glendale Heights Family Dental because right away when I enter the receptionist greets me warmly and got me settled for my cleaning. Not only that but I love how high tech and clean everything is. I honestly wouldnt trust any denist for my teeth besides Dr. Patel.
My family and I had just moved to the area and were looking for a dentist for the whole family, which includes a 2 year old. Was able to take the whole family here and the experience was great. They were able to put on a childrens show to help distract my kid, which lead to a tear free visit. The waiting room has a small area for kids to play on the floor as well which was a nice touch.
Dr. Patel is very gentle and efficient. She takes time out for every patient and helps make the whole experience comfortable. The staff are great too. The office is also state-of-the-art and beautiful!

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist for 2 reasons. I do not take pain like a champ as Im a big baby and I fear the dollar signs when I go in for any kind of work. I had the pleasure of using this office for an emergency last weekend and have to say that Im thrilled with the service and the affordability. I heard the word surgery during my visit and tears started to fill my eyes and was terrified. After talking with Dr. Patel and her staff, I am very relieved that I can get this taken care of quickly and without killing my pocketbook. This will be my family dentist for years to come. Very Very Happy!

I had a great experience with Dr. Patel, shes very knowledgable and very informative. She explains everything in details before she starts the treatment. Office is very clean and staff was great. They also have a nice area for kids to play which kept my kids busy while I had the appt. I would highly recommend her.
Be careful. For those watching finances, they dont let you know if there is a fee/ how much it may be if youre insurance isnt covering. I was to get a call back regarding benefits for the future. Not much good when I got handed an unexpected bill that they insisted I pay right then. This hasnt just happened once. Its happened several times. Once I was told everything was covered then at arrival I was told it would cost me over $300.
Everyone there is very kind and makes you feel comfortable. I had to see the specialist but he did excellent work. Everyone was very good about making me feel less nervous.

This company discriminates on your income. i have meriddian and was told by the receptionist that they take my insurance but only for anyone under 18. so because i am poor and am on public aid they wont help me.. Oh did i mention that i am a US Navy Veteran? this is how we treat vets in the us. avoid this dentist at all cost.

I went for periodontal maintenance after a deep cleaning at another dentist. I no longer am going to that dentist, and need to find a new one to continue cleanings, and place a crown when my implant is ready. I was very clear on the phone what I was coming to them for and they would not quote me saying the doctor had to see me first. As this is standard I went in and again clarified I was there for periodontal maintenance and an estimate for a crown on an implant. I was at the office for 2 hours for them to do nothing but take more xrays then tell me they wont do the cleaning without my doctors signature and the date of the last cleaning. They apparently didnt believe me when I told them the date. I supplied them with my periodontal chart and full mouth xrays from last month and still they were not satisfied. They only reason Im giving them 2 stars is because they gave me the xrays they took today. RIP OFF!!!! BEWARE!!! Why is it so hard to find an HONEST dentist?
The office (1177 Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights) is clean. However, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to an extensive treatment plan.

After searching for several years i finally found a honest caring and empathetic dentist. The staff here bent over backwards to make me feel comfortable. They were awesome. And they are CPR trained.

Good morning, my experience was not very good, I always do my cleaning every 6 months (I never get charged), and what they did on Saturday was mistreat my gums, I came bleeding to my house, I had never done it, just because I had no money for the procedures that assign the dentist, and the cleaning was not complete, I had to pay for.
Friendly associates. Got us in quickly and his issue was resolved. Would recommend this dental office.

Thanks to Jessica and the Bakshi doctor for receiving today my son Mateo Mora for his first visit, he tells me that they took good care of him, that they were very kind and gentle with whom they cleaned their teeth very well and explained the whole process with patience and who took care of their health using all their masks

2022-05-02Dr Bhumika Patel did excellent work for my tooth filling. Certainly will trust her for any additional dental issues I encounter in future.On a later date Reham deep cleaned my teeth very well. I highly recommend this dentistry.

2022-01-12This place is terrible! Stay away.... demanded payment for cleaning after being seated in a chair for cleaning, of which Delta Dental pays for 2 free cleanings per calendar year (They say a deep cleaning was needed and not covered... FALSE INFORMATION). Then explain that I have 15 cavities! Total scam AGAIN!. Went to another dentist and was told I had 1 cavity. This place needs to evaluated by the state.

2021-10-20I came here because i wasnt able to get in to see my normal dentist for a few weeks. I was considered an emergency patient. I gotten hit in the mouth at work and ended up chipping my front tooth. I called my dental insurance and they gave me 2 options that were in my network. Fortunately this place was a hop and a skip from my house... Well a 5 min car drive. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Everything was explained to me in great detail from the treatment plan to the billing what insurance would cover and what would be my responsibility. Dr. Patel and the staff has been very helpful and cordial towards my care. Glad I chose to come here. Thanks again.

2021-11-09I love taking my kids to this dentist. They are super nice and explain what they are doing. They also have a lot of patience working with kids as well. They are always overly nice to me and my children. I’m so glad I found them. I would recommend them to everyone.

2021-05-02I had a very pleasant experience as a new patient at Glendale Heights Family Dental. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. It was probably the most educational and thorough dental visit I ever had. They took the time to really explain (and show me) what was wrong, how they planned to fix it and how to try to prevent such issues in the future. I definitely will return and recommend them to others.

2021-03-25Just have my implant and I am so happy with how well I recovered. I did not experience any pain or swelling at all.Dr. Patel was very gentle and informative throughout the whole procedure making sure I wasn’t nervous or feeling any pain and I couldn’t have possibly felt any safer with all the new safety protocols they have implemented in their clinic with the virus still going around.Thank you Glendale Heights Family Dental found such a great experience.

2020-12-30Great service, great people! I got my veneers done through them after not being able to go to a dentist for a while. They were fast and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I never wait when I go there, they call me back immediately and everything is quick and efficient. I highly recommend them for any dental needs/procedures! Dr. Patel knows her stuff!
