What can I say, I love Barnes & Noble & their Cafe!! So many sales going on that it was hard to choose books! The Cafe was the Hero of the day because I was able to purchase a whole cookies & cream Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for my sons 10th birthday, which is what he wanted for a birthday cake 🎉🥳🎂
The Commons is an outdoor shopping mall with a wide variety of traditional retail shops. Downtown Geneva is much more unique and interesting with small shops and restaurants. Visit Third Street for an enjoyable lunch and some fun browsing. Just 7 minutes from the Commons, its worth your time.
This is a cheerful place. You can get a smoothie at Jamba juice. And snacks. Sometimes they have events. The Cosmetic Company stores fabulous as is Sephora. The Cosmetic Company has amazing clearances and when they have the six for 60 its just crazy. Its so fun to have a Fresh Market with such fabulous food. Theres an old school Red Lobster with nice management. Shockingly we have a giant bookstore with do few left. Barnes & Noble is always great. Its nice to have a Jjill and a Chicos! Jo-Ann fabrics has lots of cool things to craft. Theres a little bit of landscaping and its always clean and their security outside. They run promotions as sweepstakes and contests as well. Interested in curious to see whats going in where h&M was. Looks like they put in a new dermatology type place in the center. Its fun to have the giant chess set. Miss the concerts! Too bad Charming Charlies went under with coronavirus restrictions. Loss of business. Dont get to the giant sports store very often but its very popular. A few other mainstream department stores hanging in. I could be wrong but I thought I saw that maybe a hair place was going to open up. A few other restaurants left. Always a nice place to walk.
Geneva commons. Has all the stores you need but just a pain getting around in the day it just has too much going on and the way the traffic system is set up its over complicated gives me anxiety sometimes lol a great location with some really good stores and restaraunts in the area conveniently in one shopping mall but the traffic aspect of the shopping mall can be confusing/congested. The new location of Binnys is now inside this shopping mall.
This review is specifically for BARNES & NOBLE Bookstore in Geneva Commons! Its a really neat store! Its a bookstore, yes, but theyve got SO MUCH MORE than just books! They have a huge Harry Potter section as well as non-book merchandise for tons of different popular characters. Bookstores are few and far between nowadays. Im glad Barnes & Noble is still here. Check it out if you find yourself in Geneva Commons...you might come out with more than just a book! ☺️
Great area full of many retail places, restaurants, and a grocery store! Always, a very busy parking lot!!! Every trip for my friend and I, we dread the crossing from the parking lot to the store. This is very scary because we both are handicapped!!! We cant cross as fast as a lot of people would like us to.....it is very scary for us!!
In the days of the death of the mall, this mall is still highly trafficked. I typically go here to see the T-Mobile store or to go to Crate & Barrel. The Crate & Barrel store is very large and worth visiting. All of the boutiques in the small are high-end high price items so this would not be a discount trip. Nevertheless, the location is nice there is a lot of outdoor seating and outdoor activities, and I believe they put on concerts during the summer.
There is a decent variety of stores here and I like the open air design of the mall, but Id spend more time and money there if they had bathrooms. Currently the only viable bathroom option is to buy something from one of the restaurants (even when you dont want anything) just so you have access to their facilities. I totally understand the liability issue that sue happy idiots have created when it comes to public restrooms but when I gotta go, I gotta go.
Restaurants are decent enough, but shopping is primarily for womens clothing (like most malls). The parking is ample and the grounds are kept up well. The Commons does feature Barnes and Noble, and Dicks sporting goods. Plenty of quick drink options, like Starbucks and Jamba Juice.
Always a great time walking around and shopping at the Geneva Commons. From Starbucks to Buffalo Wild Wings. From Barnes & Noble to Joanns Fabric and Home Goods. Many stores to shop at of all kinds. Clothing, candles, jewelry, books, and plenty of other products to browse and/or buy.
Good selection of retail stores and restaurants. Its the place to go shopping for clothes and many other items in the area. Locally referred to as simply The Commons. This place helped ensure the demise of the Charleston Mall across town; which is sort of a drag as Id prefer an indoor mall any day. The Commons can really only be comfortably walked about three weeks of the year and dodging traffic to get to most of the stores is a little inconvenient. Alas, people continue to arrive in droves including myself.
Many different stores and some great restaurants. Expect to pay for premium products and services. Great for a ladies day escape - do some shopping while getting jewelry cleaned or fixed at Azar, have coffee, get a massage, pick up something for the kids, and even something at Dicks sporting goods for your husband.Took one star off just because of how expensive things can be here.
This was the first time I was there. I could not believe the amount of stores and restaurants here. Everything from Barnes and Noble, to Williams Sonoma and Charming Charlies. Kids clothing stores as well as Victorias Secret. There was also Potbellys, Five Guys and Houlihans, (this is where we went, fantastic food and excellent waitstaff). Its a one stop shop for everything.
I do enjoy shopping at the Geneva Commons. Plusses would be: plenty of eating options, parking, variety of stores. Negatives would be: Not much for mens clothing, stores are all disconnected which means you have to walk outside. Which in the winter is no fun, just not a lot of stores which Im interested in.
Lots of great stores and restaurants in this shopping area in including Dicks Sporting Goods, DSW, Barnes & Noble, Jos. A. Bank, Gap Kids, The Childrens Place, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Bar Louie, California Pizza Kitchen, Potbelly, Five Guys, and Houlihans. Plus many more...
I shop at Geneva Commons on a regular basis. 1) I purchased my Groceries at The Fresh Market! All my fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat. #Noteworthy: every Tuesday is chicken + ground beefhalf off. The chicken is free-range, w noadditives, hormones, antibiotics, addedchicken broth, + they are huge! The beef is also as described for the chicken. Trytheir home-made Italian sausage! Try free-range stake, rib eye my favorite. Yes it cost a little more, but well worth it. Their deli + cheese, French + Italian bread, to die for. Same as their pastrys! No, I do not shop for my canned goods, cleaning supplys, water, soda, milk there. Go to get what they do best, fresh produce that lasts for weeks not days, poultry + meat that is not full of toxin I, +If you bake purchase Derout BakingChocolate Direct from Amsterdam! I useTo order it from Holland After I was introduced to it on a vacation! Your Baking will will become manic! I call it my Black Gold! Tip* Red Box w DutchWoman w White Hat on Cover!Oh! One of the best Orchid Stores Around!! **Tip Get the median size ones! Good Luck + have fun!!
Theres a great selection of stores here. its an outside mall so theres a lot of walking to get to each of the stores but its a nice set up. theres a lot parking available and the stores are also pretty unique stores put together here. Its got almost one kind of any type of store.

2022-03-18Nice place to walk around with lots of shopping options. They even have a Fresh Market grocery store, which is equivalent to Whole Foods to me. Loved their fresh fish!

2022-02-09The staff at DSW need some customer service and etiquette training. Tossing around merchandise, gossiping about coworkers and complaining out loud is not only unprofessional but just immature. I expected a more pleasant shopping experience.

2022-04-12Outdoor mall with shops that are upscale and mainstream. Peaceful and safe. Restaurants, fitness studio, underground golf, and outdoor events that are so fun.

2022-01-17We went to the Barnes and Nobles and it is very well kept and appears to be a larger B&N. The CS employee was very nice and patient and threw out suggestions as I knew the subject but not the author of the book I was looking for.

2022-05-12Parking is very poorly organized. I dont come here often, but when I do, Google has my destination in the wrong location. It is all I can do to get out with my sanity.
