This place is awesome. I will never go any place else. The gentleman that did my nails was amazing he offered me a drink made sure while doing my nails that I was ok and that he wasnt hurting me like most salons do. He showed me a better way to get what I wanted. He took his time thank you for the great experience.

Had a really great experience here. All the staff were very professional and kind. Very efficient with how they get you in and out. Only complaint would be my technician didn’t get the color quite all the way down to the nail bed.
Not only did I feel COVID safe due to their safety protocols, I had a lovely woman care for my nails. I was fortunate to get the owner! My nails were beautiful. And now, nearly three weeks later, still no chips or fading. I choose this salon due to the reviews of others. Hoghly recommend them to you.
I really enjoy going to Galaxy Nails. I have gotten multiple acrylic sets, acrylic fills, and pedicures done. Each time my nails have been great quality, and have lasted a long time. The environment is clean and organized, and the staff are very kind!
Have been to a few places in town while traveling for work and this is by far my favorite! I had some issues with the gel chipping off but Kevin was happy to have me come back in and fix it for me. Definitely recommend!

Galaxy Nails is a chic store that offers quality nail care. Though an appointment is needed, it is worth the effort of making an appointment. I have been there twice and have been pleased with both experiences so I will continue coming here for all my nail needs.The prices are comparable to other places in town.I would recommend this place to anyone in Blo-No looking for a quality nail salon.Update: I just went to their new location and it is BEAUTIFUL!! The staff is still amazing and the quality of the work is why my husband and I will still go Galaxy Nails for our manicures and pedicures.
Ive been a few times for pedicures. So nice. Owner is the best. They are very busy for a good reason. My wife is very happy she found this place and goes often. Just call ahead and make reservations.
I love galaxy Nails! They do such an amazing job on your nails and they check in with you throughout the process to make sure you like what theyre doing and to ensure they arent hurting you at all. Ive gone there a few times and will continue to come back for more. This is an amazing establishment, that takes into account covid guidelines and makes you feel safe. They were voted the best nail salon in Bloomington 3 years in a row and I can see why. You will have to call at least a week ahead of time because, since they are so amazing, they book up fast!

This is the only place in the area where I can find a good pedicure! Im so happy with their services and they are professional, clean, and reasonably priced. They are very busy though so schedule in advance!
I came in with a relatively unfortunate manicure from a different salon, needing it fixed. Lucas did an amazing job, my nails are beautiful and he made sure I liked them every step of the way. I will be going back without a doubt. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Not a relaxing experience at all. They are clearly understaffed because my nail tech was rushed the entire time and skipped important manicure steps like soaking my hands, pushing cuticle back, removing dead skin, etc. My nails are beautiful but look overgrown and the skin around my nails is dry. The massage I got during my pedicure was extremely rushed; I did not feel cared for. I just felt like he wanted me out of his chair. Stop exploiting your workers! It shows. Will not ever be back.

I have been getting my nails done here for the past few months, and it is the best place in town! They always make sure that you are getting what you want through the whole process. I have gotten acrylics and gel polish done here and it has been perfect every time. My nails always look great for 2 or 3 weeks and I always get compliments on them! I think that for the service that you get it is very reasonable price wise.
Had a set of acrylics done. Ive been to many places and Ive never had them look so perfect! Im driving an hour each way now to get them done because they are worth it! They also speak excellent English and are very personable.
I came in to Galaxy Nails after reading the good reviews. They did NOT disappoint. They were very thorough even with the basic pedicure I got. The salon was very clean (and socially distanced) and the staff was very kind and attentive. They are the best Ive been to here in town!

I could not recommend this place enough!!! Ever since the first time I got my nails done here, Ive religiously gone back and wont go anywhere else. They do an amazing job of remembering and greeting you by name when you come in. Despite how busy they usually are, they all are so friendly and accommodating. They even remember to make my strawberry margarita for me each appointment! On top of all of that, their skills are top notch. Ive never walked out of this place being less than estactic about how great my nails look. Every time. Quality place right here.
Great first experience. The salon is clean and cute. The staff are friendly and professional. I was asked multiple times throughout my appointment if I was comfortable, if I liked the color, shape, etc. It was busy at 11:30am on a Friday so I think appointments are a must. Will definitely be back.
I started going to Galaxy Nails about a year ago. And they have never disappointed! I get exactly what I want and the quality of work is the best around. I bring my 8 year old daughter with me sometimes and they treat her with just as much respect as any adult. Seriously the best pedicure in town! I recommend this nail salon to all my friends and YOU!
I was 5 minutes late on accident and the owner yelled at me and said I had to pick if I wanted a Mani or a Pedi because they wouldnt do both. All that over 5 minutes?!? They do good nails but Im never going back .
Galaxy Nails is truly amazing. The service and prices are amazing!! The salon is so clean and nice. My nails turned out beautiful!! I recommend making an appointment, as they are not a huge salon, which I LOVE. I didnt feel rushed. I really cant say enough good things about this salon. I do want to add, have cash or check for tip. You are not able to add tip to the credit/debit card transaction. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I cant wait to go back!!
I enjoyed myself here! I had a gift card for 50$ and pays an additional 15$ for a gel pedicure. Found it a little pricey but it wasn’t a bother because I had the gift certificate. Professional, clean and friendly setting. Beverages offered and I’m pretty sure they’re complimentary. My biggest problem was the lack of entertainment. If they played something like HBO movies I would have given 5 stars. Listening to classical music was different and unexpected. Friendly staff. Tons of color choices and services offered. Gel came out well and had stayed on now for three weeks.

Ive been to Galaxy Nails several times for pedicures and eyebrow waxing, and they never fail to impress! They have done a very good job every time I have come in, and their customer service is wonderful. Everyone there is so friendly and sweet. I highly recommend coming here.
Both times I have visited, Ive gone in as a walk-in. I was always greeted and seen relatively fast. Liam was my nail technician for my pedicure and Mike did my nails. Both were friendly and had a good rapport with the staff and the clients. Everyone takes pride in their work and the prices are fair for the quality. Dont forget to bring your tip in CASH! I look forward to visiting again.
I just had one of my best, if not the best, experience getting a pedicure and nails being done. I live in Alabama and am in Bloomington visiting my son and family. I just lucked out finding Galaxy Nails. It took a bit getting an appointment, but it was well worth it. I see now why they are booked up. Linda is the best. She took her time and did a fantastic job. Price was very much worth it. This will be where I will be getting my nails done when in Bloomington. Just wish they had a salon in Alabama.
I am a cross country truck driver. Stuck in town for a few days and really needed my toe nails cut. Last time I was at home, my wife refused to touch my feet, so she told me I needed a pedicure. So, while I was here for a while I looked on Google Maps for the closest nail salon from the Pilot truck stop and found this place. First time pedicure and I have to say it was a great experience. Staff was friendly and courteous. Took their time and made me as comfortable as possible. I recommend this place to everyone. Wonderful experience and didnt break the bank.

The nails consistently turn out great, but the service is always wonderful! They are friendly, offer you beverages (including margaritas!) & have a variety of services/polishes to choose from! Best nail salon I have ever been to in my life! I am greeted by name every time I walk in and I am so lucky to have found Kevin! He knows exactly how to shape my nails and takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. I never want to get my nails done by anyone else! I visited here a few months ago to get a French gel manicure and it quickly became my new favorite nail salon! All of the staff are so nice and welcoming and my manicure was amazing. They really took their time with getting it just right and just how I wanted it. They put my hands under the light several times to ensure it would last well and it did! This is the only place I can go to for a gel manicure that lasts 3 weeks - I end up taking it off because I need to cut my nails, not because it’s chipping!
Absolutely wonderful! Staff was super friendly and Joe was really caring and took good care of my nails. He was gentle and very precise and my nails look so good! The whole staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely come again!
Hubby and I got pedicures on our trip from VA to WI and WOW! These ladies are GOOD it was probably the best pedicure we ever had - it felt like they were massaging our feet/legs forever! The place can get busy though, so calling ahead is a must.
My step daughters introduced me to Galaxy Nails and I fell in love after my first visit!! I go every month for pedicures, gel nails and eye brow waxing! If you haven’t been there yet, I highly recommend it!! Kevin and his wife are the best 😉

My mom brought me here once and I havent gone anywhere else since. I tell all my friends that this is the place to go. I have gone to Twins, Head to Toes, and castle off and on before finding this place. There service is incredible and the staff is so friendly. There gel I swear last longer than anywhere I have been. There pedicures are amazing and for the same price as other places in town you can get an essential oil pedicure which is specular. I have time to go as much as I would like but every-time I do I am never disappointment.

Tonight was the first time I have ever been to Galaxy. The staff are extremely nice! My nails were done super fast but done extremely well! This will be the only nail salon I go to from now on. The pricing for services is really reasonable!

The owners and staff of Galaxy Nails have their customers’ wishes as their highest priority! They have created a calming spa-like environment, and treat each patron to a relaxing and fun experience. I had followed my nail tech mike over to galaxy the first year went great. but when I came in without calling first to get a color change. the owner denied me and told me they were booked. mind you they open at 10 and I was there by 10:22. i was told mike had an apt at 1030 and was busy with a different customer at the moment. first every time I make an apt with mike he has never been on time for me. not that i have ever cared if he was on time or not, but dont kick me out for a simple color change that anybody in the salon can do and especially when he is never on time for his appointments. the owner was rude about it and all she could say we are booked. dont have a salon if you cant accept walk ins. especially when there are so many salons around here that will gladly except my walk in. . .all the owner wants is people to make an apt. i have never seen her accept one walk in for as long as i been there. i love my nail tech mike but i refuse to go there and give the owner my money especially when i am a regular customer and i was willing to wait or come back for something so simple. i was really blown away that she turned a regular customer down and how rude she was with me. i will never come back i didnt deserve to be talked to with an attitude and looked at like Im stupid because i walked in wanting a color change. moral of the story dont come here and become a regular they dont care

Update: I spoke with the manager same day as appointment. He apologized profusely and gave me a full refund for my pedicure. He even made sure all of my bridesmaids were satisfied with their experience before we left. After speaking with him he made my experience alot better. I will definitely be back after the quick turn around of fixing my problem.I booked an appointment for 4 people 5days the day I wanted my nails done for a no chip Mani and pedis for all 4 people. This was for my wedding. I started with a pedicure, I was not offered any of the packages that go with the pedicure. I did get a hot towel but no foot or leg massage. They rushed through my appointment. I was done before all of my bridesmaids and they were offered the packages, which two of the choose hot stones. Even though I had booked an appointment for my toes I didnt know if I would do my toes because of money issues. However I decided to do it because it was for my wedding. I wish I would have cancelled the pedicure because I could have done what they did at home on my own. I am not one to write reviews but my experience really upsets me.

They give you a complimentary drink, whether its water, wine, or a margarita! The massage that I received during my pedicure is the best massage I have ever gotten during a pedicure. Its the cleanest nail salon Ive been to, and all of their polishes are organized by number. A+++. Will definitely go back if Im ever in the area again! They are always very kind and accommodating. By far the best nail salon I’ve been to. Only downside is you have to tip in cash but they are very understanding if you didn’t know or forgot. Highly recommend.

I went to almost every nail salon in Bloomington-Normal looking for a salon that had wonderful service, technicians who would actually talk to me, a good color selection, and a salon that didn’t make me feel like just another dollar. I have not been to another salon since I found Galaxy Nails! I get acrylic nails/fills, gel manis, regular manis, and pedicures, just depending on what I’m feeling. Khanh, Kevin, and their team have always done a truly phenomenal job! The attention to detail and care they put in to their services is remarkable. Galaxy Nails is a hidden gem in Bloomington!
A bit of context; my wife and I took a trip up to Green Bay for our anniversary to see the Packers play, and on a whim got an appointment for pedicures at Lodge Koehler, a high-end spa. It was a wonderful experience, have no doubts.But I’m confident in saying that the spa that services the Packers, as high-end and swank as it was, honestly was outmatched by the pedicures we’ve gotten at Galaxy Nails. The techs here are friendly and warm, and do an immaculate job. They show the sort of care for your nails that you’d expect from a dental hygienist when they clean your teeth, but without the pain, and a nice massage.tldr; Galaxy Nails consistently offers resort-level services at budget prices. Bloomington is lucky to have them.

I absoulutely love galaxy . My fave place to go in Blono. The passed couple times I have been turned away because I didn’t have an appointment which was my fault . It’s better to just make an appointment to make sure you can be seen . There was also a misunderstanding where I wanted a pedicure but only got a toe polish change . They apologized . I will be back they are better than every one else in blono .

Never heard of a small nail shop that don’t take walk in nor do they state anywhere that it is an appointment only business and were not very accommodating and acted just like they did not need my business. As a vet I find it very disrespectful to treat anyone like this and will see to it that my fellow vets don’t do business with this place.

2022-06-12Very friendly, courteous, and professional staff. The salon is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and all proper hygiene protocols are followed. My nail technician was super sweet and was really good at her job. Every technician was focused on the customer they had and paid close attention to them. Lots of service options. They do not accept walk-ins so appointments are required. Tips are cash-only.

Not only do they provide exceptional and consistent service, they treat you like family and appreciate every client! Their new location is stunning! It’s large and roomy with a touch of elegance that helps you feel safe, clean, and able to relax during these crazy times. I think would be a great place to host a small party of pedis etc. I also love the variety of colors and brands they have to choose from and they are very organized making it easier!! Did I mention the owners are the sweetest most hard working couple?! And the staff is also very friendly, fast, and skilled. 10 out of 10 recommended Galaxy Nails!!

The staff are very friendly and check in with me often to ask if I like the temperature of the water, the color, nail shape, etc. They are gentle and always listen to what I would like. The quality of services is always exceptional.

2022-03-04I have been coming to this salon for a few years now and I’m always amazed by the quality of their work, but even more so by their hospitality and kindness. The owners Kahn and Kevin are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Nina is amazing too. They always make sure to ask the whole way through the service if you are satisfied with the work so far, if they are hurting you, etc. I came into the salon yesterday for a full set and pedicure thinking I had an appt. Turns out, they did not have me in their books because I accidentally messaged the wrong salon in a totally different country to set up an appt 🤦🏼♀️ They not only made room for me in their busy schedule to do my full set and pedicure, but they also didn’t rush the appt and my nails turned out amazing. I probably thanked them a million times for doing this, as I am leaving for vacation in a couple days. This salon is unmatched. 💓

2022-03-08Update: Galaxy nails did finally called me back and apologized for not returning my call or answering my calls. Thank you for contacting me and setting up an appointment for my daughter and I.Tried for over a week to call and make reservations and no one never answers!!! Very very frustrating!!!! Will not use I will only go once since I got a gift card from there u less someone else wants to buy it from me. I have 2 to sell if interested.

2020-08-28I was very happy with my dipped nails. The nail tech constantly asked me if I liked the color, if I liked the shape, which proves a high emphasis on customer satisfaction! The nail tech took extra care to preserve my nail bed being that it was my 3rd set of dip nails and my nail was long but thin, I really liked the attention to detail there! The highest note I will say is that unlike 2 of the other nail salons in town, this place uses the dip top coat like they are supposed to, vs other nail salons that put a clear gel top coat on top of dipped nails (not the correct method for dip nails). I like to minimize UV light and loved when I found out about dip nails. I would recommend this place!!!!!
