My tech for my underarms wax and pumpkin peel facial was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Her name is Ms. Whitney and her instructor Ms. Victoria is so calm in explaining the process to her student. She was detail on my exit consultation, she gave me excellent advice. I can’t wait for next visit.
My facial with Caitlin was fantastic! She made sure to give me details about every step of the process and she gave me suggestions for skincare products that I can use at home! She seemed to know everything about skin type and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I already have another appointment booked with her for next week!
I recently got an oxygen facial + LED light treatment with Stephanie. I went in thinking I would get a different service but after telling Stephanie what my concerns were she had a better recommendation. Stephanie was kind and informative and I really appreciated how intently she looked/paid attention to my skin so she was able to give me tips/product recs on how to keep my skin properly moisturized (my job + winter = insanely dry skin). This place is the BOMB- an amazing service + friendly staff all for a beyond affordable price. Thanks Stephanie!
I have been coming to G Skin since 2014 and the service here has been excellent. The students do a fantastic job with exfoliating the skin and do wonderful body scrubs and massage therapy treatment. In addition to that, the students give you a consultation after your treatment on what you should do to further take care of your skin. One of the students, Aleeah, gave me an Oxygen Facial which helped remove the dead skin, sun burn, and hydrated my skin, which has done wonders for my overall skin health. I’d highly recommend coming to G Skin.
Went it and got a hot stone treatment with Sandra. It was super relaxing! She made sure to check the stones werent too hot and they felt great. I appreciated her checking to see I was still comfortable and suggesting to readjust my position here and there. Definitely recommend!
I went here to have a facial service performed, per the recommendation of a good friend. I was surprised to see that the student who was performing the services, Ms. Anna Perez, not only was enthused to do the service but ended up recommending what she called (and I had to write it down to remember) a blueberry oxygen facial with mesotherapy as opposed to whatever i may have asked for... but this helped tremendously with my dry skin. Honestly I was surprised by the expert quality of Ms. Perez, and would recommend anyone to place their trust in this institute, its teacher and instructors, and as well, their students. #worthit
This place is definitely worth checking out!! Such a great price for the service you get. Jenna W. did my facial for me and did a wonderful job. She provided a calm and comfortable environment. I will definitely be going back!!!
I truly enjoyed my body scrub and wrap with Brianna J. and Sandra. Both ladies were professional and courteous. Sandra was highly attentive to detail and concerned about the temperature of the towels before placing them on my skin. She was also gentle when moving my arms and applying the product to my skin.Thank you ladies!!!
I went in today to get a chemical peel. I usually go in for a microdermabrasion and it’s been amazing. Today I was happily paired with Jennifer that worked on my face and she did such an amazing job. She was thorough with all the info I needed in order to take care of my face on a daily basis. Had my face looking brighter and cleaner. Also sooooo soft! Loved it! I’m always coming in!!Come get yours and take care of that lovely face of yours 😌💜
Absolutely love this place! Very clean and affordable. I have visited the G Skin and Beauty Institute on a numerous occasion and enjoyed each time. I normally go for a facial wax. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it. He has never done any manscaping beside just getting a haircut and shave. He enjoyed a gentleman facial and a dry room body wrap with hot stones. I’m going to try the underarm and bikini wax closer to the spring/summer time. Angela, the instructor is always friendly and professional.
I had an acne dermal facial with Mariah. She gave me excellent customer service and had good conversation through the entire facial. Mariah made me feel comfortable and confident when I left. My face was glowing and radiant, I can’t wait to book with her again next week.
I went for the first time today. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Anna P. was amazing. She worked with my skin type, knew what would fit best for me, and I felt like I was in great hands. I would definitely come back again.
Last Saturday I had a facial by Armaria and it was fabulous! Not only did she counsel me on my skin and recommended a product that I love, but her touch was so soothing that I feel asleep! I will return. I did in fact return yesterday and Armaria provided a wonderful back facial and hot stone massage.
I am a current student, 3 months into the program. I do not recommend this school to prospective students.
Had a signature facial and was very pleased. Wonderful service, friendly environment. I have dry skin and after the facial my face felt hydrated and looked luminous. The massage felt great after a hard day of labor. Overall I was very satisfied with the service. I will be coming back and highly recommend the place!
Relaxing atmosphere. Love, love Eleni! Shes the only reason I went there.My facial was done by student not the teacher. A little more instruction as to what the procedure is would go a long way. Ive had facials before but I brought my sister who never had one. You get taken in a room and they have you put your items in a basket.It would be nice if they instruct you to stay dressed from the waist down and take off all jewelry. Not just your earrings and necklace. But also rings and bracelets. Tell me Im getting a hand and arm massage.For the price you cant go wrong. In the end my sister enjoyed her facial.
I love G Skin Beauty in Chicago. Yazmin, was awesome and did a great job w/the service she provided.. Ms. Victoria her instructor was very informative, thorough and supportive to Yazmin when it came to my consultation. They made me feel very comfortable throughout this whole process. I had a great eyebrow wax from Armaria at State St. in Chicago yesterday! She did a very good job- my brows are nicely shaped now. She was really pleasant to work with and showed confidence with her work. Ill go back soon and request her again.
I always come to this place. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They take their time explaining the services and address all of the clients concerns. The services are great, i tried the microdermabrasion, facials, micro-current for facelifting. All the services were under experts supervisions and they always recommend the best products for your skin. I feel great every time I come. Highly recommend this experience.
Great prices for going to a spa. The teachers are Amazing Miss Angela, Miss Tiffany and Miss Victoria. There so helpful with figuring out what works best for my skin. Everyone so friendly and detailed. ❤❤❤

Terrible school. I would definitely recommend signing up for a different esthetician school. They take your money and literally will leave you in a classroom by yourself for hours. I had to reach out to who accredited this school because they technically shouldn’t even be open if they are understaffed

Ive been seeing Ebony a few times already, we worked out a plan for my skin! I always feel amazing after getting a facial and Ive been getting lots of compliments. Gskin beauty is great :) staff is also friendly
I have an excellent facial with Dianne at Gskin . She takes time in giving me a seaweed facial and miso thereby...very knowledagble ans excellent skills .I also received an intelligent skin advice from their professor Sam.I wanted to have a skin hydration and deep penetration of the moisturizer applied . I just had a thermage this December and my skin is plumped up with the collagen benefit of the procedure . I initially wanted micro-current and I cant decide what is more beneficial to my skin , since my skin is pretty tight from the procedure I previously had . I asked Sam what would be good for me. I said, I feel like I need hydration and I need penetration of all the skin products I got. So she recommended seaweed facial and miso therapy (which includes an ultrasound) .Thank you Dianne and Sam.

Great facial for the price. Oxygen facial is Veey hydrating. Make sure to ask for extractions, as they only do them on request!

2022-02-09Malikah gave me a blueberry cranberry oxygen facial treatment with micro current and high frequency. She was very informative and told me about every step she took during the service. I was very relaxed because she used many hot towels and gave me a soothing hand and arm massage with a neck and shoulder massage. My favorite part of the facial was when she used the blueberry scrub on my face and the blueberry cranberry mask because the smell very pleasant and fruity just like blueberries. I would definitely go back to her for another facial treatment and recommend her to other clients!She also did Microdermabrasion twice before on my back and came out very good very impressed.

2022-04-09Eddie gave me a blueberry cranberry oxygen facial and it was honestly the best experience I have ever had. I left the room absolutely glowing and relaxed. Eddie really takes his time with his clients and makes sure that all their needs are met. I could not recommend this place enough! The prices are so reasonable to for the full service that you get. They provide more than most higher end facial companies. I will be coming back!

2022-04-16Eddie Flores gave me a blueberry facial and for the price it was truly insane. It was a full hour and I have the skin of a new born baby. He was so informative and kind, and even though he was a student it felt like a professional. Truly would have paid double. Scheduled my next appointment immediately after! Go to this school and ask for Eddie.

2022-04-25I would not even give this place one star if possible. I signed on to attend the esthetician program back in December 2021 for me to start Feb 2022. I attended my first class and let me tell you what a disaster it was. None of the staff members were professional or friendly. We learned how to do a basic facial on a mannequin to a video with no sound. The instructor was not interested in leading the class nor teaching us anything. Instead, the instructor spent 3 of the 4 hour class time gossiping with a more senior student about all of the drama going on in the school. No student seemed happy to be a student there. The first class was completely unprofessional and unorganized. I did not feel confident that I would receive a quality education from this school so, I withdrew from the program the very next day. The Enrollment Agreement they have you sign is the most unconscionable thing I have ever encountered in my life. They give you 3 days after signing to back out with no penalty, after that, they keep 20% of your tuition. Now, keep in mind, I signed the Enrollment Agreement back in December but, my classes did not begin until February so, I was obviously well past the 3 day window. This school has ROBBED me of $2,500 after attending only ONE class. If you are wanting to go to school to get your esthetician license, please accept this as a WARNING. This school should not even be an accredited institution. The school will not return any of my emails or phone calls, they basically have robbed me and now have ghosted me. This school needs to be investigated as I know they are not offering a quality education.

2020-02-11The spa atmosphere is amazing! The facial was unbelievably relaxing and my skin felt so much better afterwards!I went here on a Monday morning for a facial (my first facial ever! Very exciting!), and I had a great experience. I dont have anything to compare it to, but the whole experience was very pleasant. Latoya was the student who helped me and she did a great job. I was honestly quite nervous about it but she and the instructor made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything she was doing and was very gentle. She offered a hand/arm massage while something was soaking into my face, and was just very nice throughout the whole process.Latoya and her instructor made some skin care recommendations and suggestions on where to find the products. They also have some of their own products which are reasonably priced and which they were not pushy about. I bought one of the products and am very excited to go back for my second facial!I did arrive a bit late, and my appointment ended 2 hours after it was scheduled to begin (online it says 1 hour appointments). I dont think this is too out of line, because I had to fill out some forms and get in their system and everything, but be prepared to stay a little longer than the website says.The serum I bought was $18, and the facial was $30.

2022-02-25I would recommend going to ANY school other than this one! They will take your money and not teach you anything. The staff constantly quits so there are no teachers. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful. Even if you voice to them your concerns they will go unheard.

2020-01-30I have been coming to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed for over a month now with Maria Hernandez and today I had my first facial. Everything from beginning to end was amazing! After a long and busy day at work this facial was the relaxation I needed. Maria explained what she was doing and made sure that I was comfortable at every point during the facial. And besides relaxation I appreciate how she has been advising me on how best to take care of my skin and make it part of my every day routine. I am looking forward to my next facial! Thank you Maria!

2019-12-23I got a therapeutic facial with Alex. She was extremely kind and attentive. She did an amazing job explaining to me what she was doing and why. After I asked her to swipe up on my face instead of down to prevent wrinkles, she make the shift and responded in a very polite and positive way. I will definitely be booking my next appointment soon. Book with Alex!! She’s amazing!
