Love this store. I like what they offer and the employees I talk to are always friendly and helpful. We love supporting this store! Our produce stays fresh longer than any other place we shop. They often have good sales. We love their roasted chicken. Worth a trip!
I like this store because they make it appealing and clean. Choices there r sometimes things u cant find in other stores. Only problem Ive had is nut bulk items being rancid because of slow overturn , Im guessing. I always open and taste or eat a sample. They have always made it right w returns!🤗 Special sales on boneless chicken breast offer great prices. Also nice restrooms.😄
Used to work here, the staff is overworked and taken full advantage of. They oay you beans then act like they care for your well-being. They skim hours off of your pay check, or outright not pay bonuses. They basically bully the staff with their scheduling process, and the list could go on. The food is ridiculously overpriced and lacking in quality. If you cannot tell, Im not a fan. All of the employees hate their jobs and are underpaid paying ridiculous amounts for insurance too.SHAME.
I love love love this store. it always have new items to try, food is always very fresh. they carry items most stores dont and the employees there are always helpful! love the stores in the Chicago area as well!
Always good selection and prices on fruits and veggies. Appreciate the selection of organic flours and grains. The bulk bin selection is vast and there are frequent sales on various items.Like the sushi and the antibiotic free and plant based selections. I still like Common Ground, downtown and Green Top and Im heartbroken that The Fresh Market pulled out of Illinois entirely, but Fresh Thyme fills a void ...

We love Fresh Thyme especially when it comes to their meat. Some depending on what your getting and depending on the sales currently going on can be a little pricey but the sales if you catch them at the right time can save you tons of money and either way the meat is always fresh and turns out so good. I also love alot of their fresh ingredients like their fruits and veggies. This is def a store in my opinion if you love to cook is where you can def find some great ingredients.
No matter if you’re masked, unmasked or have underwear on your head they make you feel welcome. Good job guys, you have my business.
Kinda pricey but they have a lot of unique items not found in regular grocery stores. I had a poke bowl from here and it was really good.

I was looking for Gin Gin candy and could not find it. I asked a stocker and she walked me over to where it would be. Unfortunately, they were out. The lady that checked me out was also very friendly. They make me want to come back more often.
New and amazing place! Everything you need from fresh produce, meats, drinks, deli, vitamins, oils, etc. And a nice seating area so can sit and enjoy the yummy foods.

Similar to Fresh Market or Earth fare in other parts of the country. Excellent fresh produce section, good meat dept, bulk items, grocery aisles have quite a few things you will not find in a regular grocery store.
They go out of their way to accommodate my request at meat Dept. Mgr helped me out in seafood area! There fruit is fabulous!

Great grocery store! Very reasonable prices, especially the in house brand. The employees are all very nice and helpful. Also, they gave out free water when the heat index was near 100° which was a real life saver. I do as much of my shopping as I can here.
Somethings were pricey, but overall a great place to look for specific diet foods.

This place is always clean and has a lot of options that other grocery stores do not have. I went to a Fresh Thyme in minnesota when I was visiting and just thought it was the cutest grocery store! I was so excited when I saw thst Bloominton-Normal was going to be getting one! I go there regularly for certain specialty items that I cant find at other grocery stores.Plus, I love all the puns they incorporate into their business!!
Not impressed. After the closing of the Fresh Market here in town, people looking for a grocery store specializing in organic and other alternate foods were left with Fresh Tyme Farmers Market. Unfortunately, this is not a particularly good store. The place has an almost grungy look on the inside, and the choices arent really all that alternative, although they do have a good selection of gluten-free desserts in one of the freezers. Overall, though, the selections are generally quite limited and more alternative by brand names than by what they offer as far as healthy content. Some of the workers are friendly and helpful (having to say, I dont think we have anything like that), while others are rather stern and unlikable (saying things like, It doesnt matter that there was one on display; you have to buy six). I will avoid this store unless I want to buy something like a gluten-free cheesecake, but other than for a few rare items, I can find just about anything I need at other stores that are cleaner, less pricey, and have considerably more variety of offerings on their shelves.

Fresh Thyme is the BEST. The produce is always well stocked and fresh, they have a great deli, a great meat selection and really good made-in-house sushi 🍣.
My favorite grocery store - great size for a quick stop in and pick up, also a wide variety of in store made items, like sushi and sandwiches for lunch. Go on Wednesdays to take advantage of the double flyer sales.
Really nice store, always very clean. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Prices can be a bit higher but they have sales all the time. Fun store to walk through just to see all the different stuff. I often come for their bulk items.
This is the best place in town if youre looking for cheap delicious healthy foods! And with lots of varieties for vegan, dairy free, and kept friendly choices it is my go to for 2 for $5 blueberries as well as thier delicious sushi! Thier staff is so friendly and helpful. I love you fresh thyme! 5 stars!!!!
Great grocery store that focuses on all things natural, local, organic and good for you. Best thing is that this store is seldom crazy busy so its always quick and easy to get in and out. They also stock a load of great organic wines at great prices.
Fresh Thyme has a fantastic variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats & juices. This is a full grocery store with canned goods, chips, vitamins, beer & wine. They also have a great variety of freshly made meals on the go!
My review at the moment is based only on my first and only short visit, but I certainly plan to return soon. The store is beautiful. I expected to see high-priced produce, which was not the case where I looked. I found items that I havent seen in some other stores, and Fresh Thyme happens to be closer to my home than my usual store. If you cant find something there, though, you may want to keep looking. An employee told me they didnt carry something that others had asked for, only for me to soon find it in plain sight.
I love this grocery store. It is smaller in size, but has what you need for dinner. Their fruits and veggies and nice and the prices are about average for most things. Weekly specials are really good, and Wednesdays they have double specials.
Love this store! Produce is fresh and arranged well, prices are great, deli has a wonderful meat and cheese counter, large and extensive health and wellness supplement section. Quick and easy in and out...no long lines. The best!

Had been here several times and found the store poorly stocked. This time the store was well stocked and the products were of good quality. There was an improvement in the staff as far as friendliness and helpfulness. In all they have made some major changes. I will be shopping here much more.
Hadn’t been here yet first time was absolutely awful. Friends said to try it, “they’re helpful and really nice” wow I need new friends maybe these employees are new or maybe I picked a bad time to shop IE: it was the around 7ish when I was i. I Was treated rudely and they didn’t have the items in there ad I wanted. Not helpful at all I think Aldi is much better even though they have much less employees they usually have there ad items well in stock and easy to find oh and actually priced right you know same on shelf as in ad and the prices there are very fair. Horrible I won’t be back anytime soon I don’t think.
They offer some really good sale prices each week. Other than that prices are high on most food, but equal to other health food stores on many special items such as gluten free and organic. Great place if you are looking for more natural cosmetic items. Watch the weekly ads and go on Wednesday when both the previous and the next week ads are running.
Kind of expensive but what store isnt these days isnt beef is very good. Grass feed beef. Ribeyes, Ribs, porkchops are really good.
Went there for the first time Sunday. We were like kids in a chocolate factory. Didnt know were to start. Fresh fruit and veggies were great. Fresh meat,excellent. All kinds of specialty foods in every dept. Cant wait to go back!
I dont know why you wouldnt get your produce and meats here. The produce is priced just as good, if not better than places like Kroger and Walmart. And its better quality. The meat is way better quality and affordably priced as well.I once had an issue of meat being spoiled earlier than the date on the package and they gave me replacement meat with no problem. I will always shop here for my produce/meat unless something changes.

Nice store, not my cup of tea. Limited bakery, small meat case, deli meats but no sides (pasta salad, potato salad, Waldorf salad etc.) Large olive bar. Unusual selection, Elk, bison, goat, & venison. I really preferred Fresh Market (RIP Normal IL store).
Came in for sales before, they were lovely, but the kombucha was expired. Came in again to try boars head because it was recommended to us and known for allowing samples, but got told we only could buy due to covid. Im sure it has something to do with not walking around in samples instead of only the deli clerk taking care of it, but still.

The special prices are good. Not overly impressed with any of the fruit or vegetables. I had a cart full. Not very ripe just like anywhere else. I asked a boy if they had flax seed and he said he didnt know so I found it myself. 2 managers I walked through. Neither one acknowledged me. My rotisserie chicken was NOT cooked through. Uck. Think Ill stick with Fresh Market, Kroger, and Wal-Mart. Also bought ground beef, got home and had been charged for prime rib. Took it back and never even got an apology. Had big hopes.
One of my favourite groceries in Bloomington-Normal. Usually in supermarkets I spend a lot of time reading ingredient lists for every product. But here I can sometimes let my guard down and relax. A lot of the things they sell are organic or local, so I dont expect to find anything suspicious
Great store!! Reminds me of a store I have shopped in AZ. We drove 40 miles to check it out and were not disappointed. Did not give 5 stars because they need to educate some of the employees on how to treat their customers. Not a bad experience, but some came across a little on the rude or I dont care side.
I will definently be shopping more at Fresh Thyme after today. Several employees helped me today and all of them were so friendly. The store employees were cleaning everything for our protection. Thank you! Good job!
I used to love this place it was becoming my regular store, but it’s not the same anymore. It’s kind of a sad day to be honest. Fix this guys!!!! PLEASE get it together “Fresh” thyme, I can’t spend that much money on that produce, now I have to go to two different stores to get what I need. Still love the vitamin section though so 1 star works.
Never in my life have I experienced a brand new store so full of utterly uninterested employees. Every time we go in there are dozens of employees all over the store with lines backed up at the one or two lanes that are open. We went in at noon on Friday and waited 20 minutes in line. I had to ask multiple employees and wait several minutes before anyone slowly walked up and finally started to help. When I complained to the supervisors instead of an acknowledgement or apology, I got excuses. Im not sure if I will ever go back.
Its a beautiful, clean, well lit store. They have a reasonable selection and okay prices. I was there for the coffee. I havent tasted it yet, but it smells great, and Im really looking forward to it.
0 stars WOW... Read my happycow review basically not fresh produce at all mixed organics with pesticide filled produce. That’s so messed up I can’t even start I’m so mad. Employees are uneducated on how to properly maintain organic produce or Honestly it’s like they don’t care at all about the fact the those chemicals are dangerous. If you want to eat chemicals go for it not me. I’ll never shop here again imagine the damage I’ve already done to myself and my children. This is fraud!!!!!! I’m ashamed of myself I didn’t notice sooner and it’s kinda gotten dirty and dingy in there been on a slow decline lately. Good selection of vegan items, friendly staff and great location.
Im not sure who this Hazey Prince person is who left the review previous to mine, and everyone is entitled to their opinion but wow.....I have to admit that I laughed out loud because honestly, Ive never read any review so far off the mark. Perhaps the stars aligned for that dude to have the worst day ever, but I digress.....Fresh Thyme is my favorite go-to grocery in town, by far. No, they dont have billions of products or all the brand names everyone is used to, but I find that refreshing. I have been going there weekly--sometimes several times a week--to pick up things I need here and there. The store is always impeccably clean, the employees are ALWAYS cheery and friendly, and when Ive seen management around, which has been more than once, they were praising team members for customer service or having a pep rally with their staff.Everyone I talk to who hasnt been to Fresh Thyme assumes its highly priced, organic (buzzword) garbage and quite frankly, its the opposite. Sure, they have organic products and some are more expensive than others. But as a general rule everything is very reasonable. Case in point: we have several Thanksgivings, as most families do, and for our little get together we decided to have tacos instead of the traditional fare. The night before Thanksgiving, every big box store I passed was PACKED. I drove all the way across town to Fresh Thyme and low and behold, just as I expected, only a few people were there (I figured the general public would assume Fresh Thyme was too small to carry all of their holiday necessities) Not only did they have turkeys and stuffing and everything one would need for the traditional meaI--I got every single thing I needed for TacoT-Giving at Fresh Thyme, including 4 pounds of ground beef, hard and soft taco shells, taco sauce, avocados, tomatoes, onions....everything. They even had a killer guacamole mix that we really enjoyed. I got ALL of this and more for less than what I wouldve paid at the other stores that I (used to) go to regularly.I actually kinda regret writing this review now, because Ive always felt that Fresh Thyme was a well-kept little secret. Ill share the aisles, though. Go there; you wont regret it!

Organic and healthy food that doesnt require me selling a kidney? I know it seemed too good to be true but somehow this lovely store has Whole Foods quality products at Walmart prices, along with some very cheap, as in under $5 wine.

Usually it’s fine. But happened twice I bought fresh squeezed orange juice that tasted as tap water added. Very disappointed with this matter.
Since my wifes medical issues, my familys diet has changed quite a bit and we are including mostly fresh and non-processed food items. They have the largest selection of non-GMO and organic items around.
They do have good food and reasonable prices but it’s hard finding them open. It’s 5 o’clock in the afternoon and they’re closed. I’m hoping they’re open on Tuesday

I rarely go in there with a plan. Theres usually one or two exceptional deals and I plan my meals based on what is the best value. Staff is very helpful and exceptionally respectful.

Every time I visit Fresh Thyme market I find something special or unique. There is always great buys and an opportunity to try something new. Give yourself a little extra time to explore this great store, you wont be disappointed
Very knowledgeable staff, and many interesting products you wont be able to find anywhere else in the Blo-No area. If you need specialty ingredients, this is the place to be.

Overheard employees saying racist remarks, swearing, and talking about sex not professional I was there with my mom she’s super old fashion conservative it was uncomfortable shopping there with her. She was honestly offended she wanted to leave but we were almost done shopping so I convinced her to finish. She was just visiting me so I guess if I’m alone I could shop here but I do most of my shopping when she visits me every 2 weeks. Pretty embarrassing for me and my mom.

2022-03-26Best place to have fresh nuts and fruits. Since my childhood I’m used for Homeopathic medicines. I’m very shocked to see these Homeopathy medicines here which doesn’t have any side effect. Love to visit again and grab more and put it my shelfs which works great for specifics.

2022-04-02Love this store. I found some food items I would never thought of trying but I am now. Employees are very helpful and friendly. I was extremely amazed with the produce department given most were out of season. The bell peppers were huge. Picture perfect. Bigger than the ones I grew this past summer. Everything is really fresh as they claim. Some prices are higher but most was priced at competitive rates.Second time in this store and Im just enamored with it as I was the first time. Such a variety of produce. I noticed this time that they have a lot of vegan food to choose from.

2017-11-10The items in this store are the best thing this company offers. I have never encountered such useless employees and managers in my life. The GM is constantly yelling at employees, cussing at them or cussing about the customers. If you need an assistant manager you can count on them not getting off their butt to come help or in most cases check the parking lot as smoke breaks seem to be about the only line of work that gets accomplished. If you want to go to the deli do not bring your kids there. Thanks to the food service manager whos arm is cut like a Virginia ham I get to explain why some people are so unhappy in life and do stupid stupid things. Then brag about xanex abuse with drinking! Where do they find these people, Sundays after AA gets out?? The food on the salad bar is the most disgusting thing Ive seen. You can tell these items have been clearly reheated and reused long past that anyone with the slightest bit of integrity would use. Youre better off spending not only your money but your time elsewhere. The soup is also just AWFUL, go to Panera!!

2021-12-21Good produce, good crew! I just expected a greater variety of options not available in regular stores such as pork less pork rinds and other low carb snacks. Produce IS fresh just as the name says so definitely stop in!
