I wish there was the option of 0.5 stars. Frans Cafe is hands-down the worst place on Northwesterns campus. The staff is beyond rude- my friend and I were waiting directly in front of the counter, and the lady taking orders directly overlooked us to ask the man behind us what his order was. When he said that we were in line, she straight up said No theyre not. Thanks to us speaking up and that polite man, she finally took our order. Her attitude was rude, irritable, and impatient in taking our order and refused to answer questions with more words than No. Besides the rude staff, the food is also extremely subpar. They heavily advertise, and are known for their milkshakes, but every time we visit, they never have milkshakes, and when we ask, they get extremely annoyed. It says on the Northwestern website that they have the best milkshakes, but I wouldnt know since I havent had any yet FOR A WHOLE 3 MONTHS. They offer quesadillas, but one time we ordered them, they were green. Sometimes they give too little quantities, and you cant ask or else they will respond with a blunt and rude comment. Legit the worst place to eat on campus. -100000/10 recommend.

Its pretty amazing how late they open. I can always turn to Frans when it gets really late
