Excellent restaurant! This is probably the most immaculate restaurant I have ever seen. The food was great and so was the staff. I had breakfast there earlier in the week and it was a great experience. There are plenty of tables available. I mention this because I have recommended this restaurant to multiple parties now that they should consider having their business meetings there.
My husband and I just tried this place and I have to say we were super impressed and happy with our breakfast. From the beginning the waitress was friendly and we noticed the place was super clean. The food and came and we ordered different plates to try both salty and sweet and we loved everything. Eggs were fresh and tasty and the pumpkin pancakes were so yummy! Not too sweet and full of flavor! I actually took them home with me which I have never ever done at a breakfast place before. Definitely worth trying!
Another new - small crammed place where waitstaff does not mask up. I dont care of your political stance/belief, ect..health and safety should be #1 when operating a restaurant. If you are not following this mandate, how do you as a customer trust other safety regs are being met?Food is good. We have lived in the Lombard area for over 20 years and have seen places come and go. We enjoy checking out new offerings and will frequent if we enjoy them.Pumpkin pancakes were not as pumpkin flavored as i would have liked, were still tasty pancakes. Recommend going the extra cal route and ordering with carmel and pecans. Hubbys skillet was good. Likely the freshest avocado served at a sit down breakfast place. Service was attentive and efficient. Good to have an alternate option to labriola and other breakfast joints in the area..can get crowded extremely quick.
We were Sunday regulars at this place since it opened. We decided to go today even though the last couple times the service was slow and our orders were wrong. everyone is having staffing issues so we figured let’s try again. Today was a nightmare. I ordered iced coffee, I got a mug of hot coffee and a glass of ice. We should have left then but we stayed there for 2 hours and 15 minutes , no food, our waitress kept saying it was coming. It didn’t. We ordered simple breakfast items. Watched 5 other tables seated after us get served. We finally stood up to walk out and the waitress came running over insisting our food was being served now. It wasn’t. The owner did nothing. He did not even flinch as we walked out the door. Never going back. 😡
Amazingly clean! Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful decor, and above all excellent food! Many healthy choices in the menu! Best homemade soup ever, quality meats with every sandwich and best Angus burger! Breakfast was outstanding....eggs, skillets, pancakes were all the best I ever had! A lot for your money in quality and portion size!Dr George will definitely be back again and again!
We stopped by Fountain Inn Cafe this morning, and were blown away by the amazing customer service and wonderful food! We hadn’t planned on traveling back to Illinois anytime soon, but we might now…just to stop by this incredible restaurant! Very impressed and highly recommend!
I had lunch today at this new eatery in Lombard Fountain Inn Cafe. I really enjoyed the Malibu Chicken sandwich without the bread as I am gluten free. The fries were also very yummy as was the pickle. I nibbled on my husbands Angus Burger. I was very yummy too. You gotta try this place out !the owner Gus is great and the staff and servers are suburb and amazing friendly and generous. This will be your go to place!
I have come to this restaurant with my mother a few times and had no complaints. I went this morning however and had an old man working (who i’m assuming is the owner) come up to our table and rudely tell my mother to watch how much salt she is using on her food because “it won’t do her any good”. Extremely rude and unprofessional, wont be coming again.
So my husband discovered this place in the neighborhood the other day, and brought some crepes home. Let me say I dont even like apple pie or anything cooked with apple, but OMG those apple crepes are phenomenal!!! I am seriously addicted to those now! About a week later we decided to go there for breakfast, loved the place, great service and great food! So glad we have this in the neighborhood :)
First time here.....loved the food. My wife had a ham and cheese omlette with pancakes...no leftovers! We tried the potatoe pancakes...they were excellent, homemade, they came with sour cream and apple sauce. I had the corned beef hash and eggs. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the corned beef and hash browns were done crispy. It was great! Restuarant was very clean and waitstaff very friendly. We will be back again!
Stopped in this place on a recent visit to the Chicagoland area...has only been open a few weeks - Anna seated me and provided me with outstanding service along with very tasty food - theyre open for breakfast and lunch and the menu offering was plentiful, the portions perfect ...even had flavored creamer for the coffee - and many varieties of coffee too. Please folks, give this place a try if you are in the Lombard area, would like to see it survive at least until the next time Im back in town.
Nice, updated space tucked inside a hidden strip mall next to Jared’s. Family owned breakfast and lunch spot. Friendly, prompt service and delicious coffee and food. My husband had the reuben and I had the Monte Cristo, both piled high. Extremely reasonable prices. Newly opened. They are in their third week of business. Support your local places.

2022-07-05This place is hard to spot as you are driving by, the sign is kind of set back and not easily visible.Once you find the place and walk in, youll be amazed at how spacious it really is inside. They have plenty of tables to accommodate almost any size party. The decor is contemporary and modern, with two big countertop sections to give it an old diner feel. They have a few outside tables as well for those of you who prefer to dine alfresco. They only serve breakfast and lunch, no dinner. The food is good and they serve waffles, omelettes, crepes, salads and other American dishes. The service was phenomenal, our waitress did a great job at keeping our coffee cups and glasses of water full. The kitchen staff did a great job with our omelettes and pancakes.Overall, I had a great experience at this place. The only small issue I have is that they charge you a credit card fee if you dont pay with cash.

2022-03-29This was my first time at Fountain Inn cafe, and I liked it. I was there with a friend, and we got our meals quickly, but were not rushed. My omelet was excellent, the hash browns nice and crispy, and the coffee good and hot! Very nice employees, good service, we had a great breakfast.

2022-04-08We went on a Wednesday morning. Waitress was very nice. There was only one other person there when we got there. We both ordered eggs benedict and a half order of biscuits and gravy to try. Biscuits and gravy were ice cold. We pointed this out to another woman, not our waitress, she didnt say a word and just grabbed the plate. It was nice and hot when she brought us a new order but gravy was very bland. Eggs Benedict is what I always order at any restaurant and it was not good. The hollandaise sauce was very soupy and no taste whatsoever and the eggs were very undercooked so I asked for two pieces of white toast and two eggs over medium. Toast was fine but eggs were not even close to over medium. Disappointed after ready all the great reviwes.

2020-09-08Would give them 10 stars if I could! Great little mom and pop breakfast/lunch joint. I loved the coffee, the food was delicious, the portions were super generous. Staff was beyond friendly, I am not from the area and they made me feel right at home. If Im ever in the area again I will return for breakfast.
