I went to this store to purchase some good quality hair and to my surprise this store did not disappoint me. I was helped by a man name Sam.Ladies, when I say that this man knows about hair, he knows about hair. Even when it comes to looking at a picture to determine what you need, he knows his stuff. He was a excellent help. So if you are like me and dont know much about weave or you just need help he is your man to ask for. Needless to say, my hair stylist was able to work with this hair with ease. And my hairstyle came out great. Thank you Sam.
This business should be boycotted.Horrible customer service experience. Rude an unreasonable regarding an exchange. This supply store gauges prices and pretends to give a 10% discount when actually the product should be sold for far less.This business is truly taking advantage of African-American women in the community. They earn a high profit from our spending dollars and totally disrespect us as a whole. Also, not knowledgeable about the products. Shop Black owned.

I absolutely love this place! It is like no other beauty supply Ive been to before. Everyone there is friendly and the prices are good. There are so many different styles and brands to choose from that there is no way you can go into this store and not find what you need!
They have a lot of selection of hair, but I couldn’t enjoy the shopping experience because the worker is looking over my shoulders while I’m looking for hair, which made me very uncomfortable. We need more Black beauty supply stores in the area.
They have a variety of hair, the guy who was stacking up the oil aisle was pretty friendly but the front desk lady seemed like she didnt want to be there. Overall, I had a great experience.
Best Beauy supply store in the world I live in Antioch I go there all the time, I get all my wigs, accessories and eye lashes there etc...
Good selection, but items that have been on the shelf for quite some time can be and should be lowered to a much better price. Prices need to be marked down! At times they offer 10% off, but that only meant a savings of about $3+ for my purchase. A cpl of other locations give out free products like oils, or a free calendar.
First time shopping here and i am perplexed at the many five star reviews as i found the Asians who own/work there to be very condescending. Its as if they are doing their customers a favor. One couldnt speak english and the other was acting like i was bothering him by asking questions regarding the hair. Asians acting like they are white and treating the people of color who give YOU business rather shady. Two stars just for the large selection of hair. Zero stars for their customer service skills. Really wish i could find a black owned beauty supply.

I love this store. Wish they had more variety of bundles, and 360 frontals. I spent a lot of money shopping here. Opa is always a joy to chat with when I visit there; he always helps me with whatever I need.

I would have given them 5 stars but after my experience today in after many times shopping in a store they only get one star. I got to the register to pay and realize I needed a comb. Well, I had already paid for my things which was about $50, in the comb I was trying to purchase was 2 for $1. I looked at my wallet to see if maybe I had 50 cents to pay for this comb but because I dont carry cash I did not have money, I did not want to use my debit-card for 50 cents. I thought the cashier would say oh youre fine, you always shop here you can have the 50 cent comb... Im going to call them and tell them I will not be shopping at their store anymore, because they dont value me as a good customer. The amount of money Ive spent in that store should get me a free comb or something to say thank you for shopping here! Shameful
They have everything I need I love this store except for the fact that the workers follow you around the store like a guard on a convicted felon. You cant shop in peace so it makes you want to find another store to go to.

Creepy ass employees who hit on the women trying to shop. A man who works here literally follows me around everytime I shop here, calling me baby. One day he told me that he told his co-workers that we use to date and for me to go along with it so they would think its true . Thats when I stopped shopping here. They have a decent selection of products, but its not worth the uncomfortable environment.
The workers are always helpful and are knowledgeable of their products. Ive watched tut hem handle difficult customers with grace and professionalism! Keep up the Great Work!

Worst experience & No customer service skills....Im a manager in retail and I purchase wig and the employee told me I would get 10% discount on the wig because it was the last one left and its was a display... As I go to checkout on the counter its stats purchase $5 or more you get 10% off So the gentleman wouldnt give me both of my discount. He only give me one 10% off my entire purchase...instead of my 10% of my wig also...if it wasnt such of an emergency and other beauty supply stores was closing..(Sunday) i wouldnt got the wig...

2022-03-10Too much stuff in such small space. Not for a person who is claustrophobic. Coming into store is a safety hazard with cardboard and cloth on the floor. Understood that it was wet outside, but there are mats that can be used.

2021-11-05The gentle man who I believe to be the owner is rude and disrespectful. All of those products are extremely over priced. The owner ruined a $50 sale over $0.50. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN EVER.I shop at this place all the time and never had an issue until today. I went with my mother for hair dye. Got into the store and she decided she wanted a wig as well. First issue came when he stated that my mother would have to pay $.50 for the wig cap or buy the wig. I have never been charged for a wig cap at this place or any other hair store across the U.S. But its $.50 cent whatever we planned on buying a wig anyway. But then after my mom tried on 2 wigs he stated she can only try on three. Again I have never had a limit on wig try ons at this store or any other store. Well the first two were ugly and my mom didnt think she could pick another in one try so we said forget it. The gentleman then preceded to demand the $.50 by stating with an attitude Give me $.50. My mom they asked if she could add it to her bill when shes done shopping because she only had a card. He need aggressively walks pass up telling us we pay now and ushers us to the front of the store to pay for the stocking cap. After giving them a piece of my mind I let him have his 50 cent and left the store.I need my fellow African Americans to support each other and not deal with these stores that disrespectful us even though we make their money. I hope that 50 cent was worth it because that will be the last 50 cent this store will ever receive for me. Went to Sallys and the hair die was half the price.

2021-09-20I have to get a four because the cashier was awesome I dont give it a five because as I watched a couple of my elders need assistance with certain products that they should be able to try and see if they liked it I could try on type thing I feel like the lady was more interested in fixing the store that she was in trying to encourage them to be certain that what theyre looking at is something that they definitely want to purchase by trying it on first so and give it a four because of the cashiers but I dont give it a five because when were spending our money you know it should be no question about giving us your undivided attention and cleaning up your store in between customers wheres the customer service when you back there and this lady is looking at something that shes not sure is her style and you have a try on policy and you steady fixing your store instead of trying to make sure that you got to satisfy customer who is uncertain so I say that they just need to work on the back of the store and the way that they treat the customers while theyre shopping not just being awesome when its time to collect the money

2021-07-23Disrespectful to customers.A woman asked an employee if the wig she was holding was human hair. Although the the package says human hair sometimes it isnt. He replied no and she asked really? He says Dont argue with me OK?. 🙄He spoke to the women in the wig area like they were children. They constantly follow you and stare you down as you shop. I was taking off a wig and this man stared me down for no reason.They also have a silly rule about how many wigs you can try on. Why? What is the logical reason? I want to be sure of my decision.I wont be returning because I refuse to give them my money again.
