I wanted long medium size twist, in which I received however, two days later 5 braids came out, along with twist unraveling. The owner did my hairstyle. She talked over my head yelling on the phone majority of the time I spent in her chair. I paid a decent amount of money for the twist and It was not worth it! Please save your time and money and go to another African braiding shop! You will be disappointed if you go to this one! If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Sent a picture of how I wanted my style. I was told they could do it. I wanted a short Senegalese twist bob. When I got there she said my hair was too long for the style. So I asked if they could make it longer again I was told yes. Then halfway thru the style I noticed it wasn’t the style at all just regular twist so then they told me they couldn’t do a twist bob because it would unravel. So now I’m like well if I’m not getting the bob I don’t want short twist. So I ended up walking out with my hair Halfway done because they didn’t want to start over or didn’t offer to lower the price or anything. Also they started yelling at me like I was wrong because I wanted my hair a certain way, which they told me they could do. Very unprofessional. I don’t even do reviews that often but this was so unacceptable.

They did request payment prior to completion, but the woman that braided my hair was fast and the neat. Just as I requested. My daughter also loved her hair. I did NOT experience any of the other reviewers problems.

I went here to get Crochets done. Firstly I set an appointment for 9am they didnt start my hair until 1130am. Mind you Im a very patient person. I also had an even the next day and really needed my hair done.The girl literally put glue on my hair to attach the crochets to my hair. I will never go here ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked into this place to get a unique style. The owner said she can do invisible braids (which is what was in the magazine, plus the magazine explained your hair has to be very short for the style to work). Then 1/4 thru the process i looked at my hair and told them it was too big, she said my hair is too short to do them smaller.I let her continue because i knew i could cover up the braids with the hair(i have done this on myself before when they get old. Plus, I have over 20 years licensed experience in the hair care industry and I own my business for years). I asked her to cut the straight loose hairs and she said she would when its done. They were extremely rude when I asked them to complete the style.When she finished braiding , i reminded her to cut the stray hairs and she told me no, it would take too long and she was ready to go. Her husband got very hostile with me and told me to do it myself when i get home. The lady/owner did my braids and they rushed but that didnt bother me as much as them telling me they refuse to cut the straight hair on my curly style. He also told me that they dont give refunds. I had to call the police for them to finish. I will never return to this unprofessional shop again.Please go somewhere else if you can.

I had an appt at 9 am they did not get to the shop til almost 10:30 and I asked for the color of my hair. My hair is a dark red/burgundy and I have black braids. They flat out stated they forgot my appt. but still no discount... REALLY the bathroom light didnt work either... braids nice otherwise

I read all the reviews before coming here but im happy i came my braids are super nice and they finish fast. It was three other ladys in there with me and we all finished around the same times. But the reason im giving it 4 cause they could update the shop a lil like chairs. But time and hair was decent. And i got box braids i dont think the prices go above 180.

Omg . Where should I start. I had a appt for 10am the stylist wasnt there there was a young lady getting her hair braided .. she asked for small braids. Well they braided her hair much thicker than she requested she addressed her concerns and they started arguing with her trying to convince her that she wasnt seeing what she see. Well she had paid extra for these braid too . They made her pay in advance so she could not get a refund. They offer to take them down and start over but she had a plane​ to catch so she said ok well can you just take something off the price I paid...Omg..they just arguing with her trying to convince her that she was crazy I guess.. Im like hell no Im getting out of here just off the terrible service they was giving her. But the owner says have a sit your stylist is coming in now ... Omg right off the back she too comes in with a attitude and her ass is the one late. I ask her have you ever did a sew-in before (cause Im scared now due to what Ive witnessed) this Chic says ... If you dont want your hair done I dont care!! you can get someone else to do it. Im looking like where in the hell am I ?? A war zone ?? I said to her . I am ask you a question not a insult.. again a bunch of sass.. so I got the hell out of Dodge . Too much ridiculousness going on in there for me . Super ghetto...I walked right down the street to the other shop on 17th and got superb service .. clean, warm and welcoming environment.

I’ve been going to this place for years but they have fallen off so bad and very unprofessional.... got my hair done 5-8-2019 is not even a month yet and my twist are unraveling their quality has gone all the way down... Time to find another braiding shop 😡😡

Well, I have been there and I liked my micros but it took them 10 hours to do my hair from them taking breaks and more. I would recommend if you are not patient to go to some place else because they do not havegood timing at all and they are very very unprofessional.
