Been here twice now and the tacos are always phenomenal. What really gets me is how nice the staff is here which really makes a difference. Theyre also really quick as in 5 min (or less) wait on to-go orders. Lastly the food is always burning-hot like fresh off the grill. Love it!
In my opinion I wouldn’t recommend this place I’m very disappointed everyone was hyping this restaurant up so I had high expectations just to find a black long hair inside of my quesabirria taco it was all tangled up with the meat asked for a full refund just to get 15 back after spending 40 here.
My husband and I had such an amazing experience coming in today. The staff here are so friendly especially the woman who was serving us. The food is made fresh and tastes amazing! The quesa birria was by far my favorite and my husband really enjoyed his Pambazo. We will definitely be returning customers,100% recommend!
Wanted some good Mexican but with the shutdown... You know. Glad they were serving carry out. Got vegi chimichanga. Plenty of food. It was tasty. Unfortunately not chrispy like I wanted. It was more like a smothered burrito. I was satisfied. The hot sauces were fantastic!
Please update your prices!! Or I dont know if they overcharged me!! I know yes, because then I asked and they gave me the one that appears on the menu. But very bad! For not being honest I will not return!! But what I ordered if I liked it. 😋 for that reason alone I will give them a star. In a business, honesty comes first with the clients, what a pity that I will not return for the rich Quesabirria!.😡Please update your prices!! Or I dont know if they overcharged me!! 2022-04-05This was a hidden gem spot in my opinion! Their tacos were juicy and flavorful. The home runner was birria quesadillas, we didn’t have to go all the way into the city. It was right in Wheeling/Buffalo Grove area! The atmosphere gave a very homey vibe which made it much more comfortable to eat there while stuffing our faces.

2022-07-20Tacos were smaller than what were used to and flavor just missed the mark. Birria quesadilla hit the spot. Food was overall good.

2022-03-04Tried it for the first time! So happy I found it because they have torta cubana using authentic torta bread that took me back to Mexico. Hot and fresh! Will be back!

2021-11-22I only gave this place 5 stars because I couldn’t give it any more.Got 5 quesabirria tacos with consomé and some chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were delicious, salsa definitely was spicy but one that kept you wanting more.Let me not start on the tacos, so good! Ate all 5 and definitely wanted more. Was recommended by the sweet server to try the ramen with birria or the burrito.Safe to say My sister and I will be back for more.Definitely recommend 10000%

2022-06-09Small Papa/momma place, good food options, great food portions (not to big, not too small). Good flavor.

2022-07-02Steak Burrito DinnerRice and beans with their red sauce was delicious. Green sauce tasty too. I love a Mexican restaurant that had great rice and beans. For me, that determines how the burrito or tacos will be. But not in this case. Overall, I was left not really satisfied. Burrito wouldn’t maintain its structure. It was sloppy and tortilla had no crisp on the outside. Steak wasn’t seasoned very well. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t get it again either.

2022-05-30Weve been here several times and the food is always outstanding. A couple of highlights in the trips weve been here include anything with skirt steak (Burrito, plate, etc), steak burrito, and chorizo fundido. Make sure to checkout the 32oz Corona Familiar (where they bring you a frosty mug thats been chilled with a side of limes) you cant go wrong. The house salsa is spicy but very very good! I personally enjoyed their salsas which include a smokey red hot sauce which is very unique for the area and has excellent flavor. Hats off to the owner!

2021-04-03First time going to this Mexican Restaurant, I always used to see it when I walked by & its hard to find a good Mexican restaurant. I am Mexican-American so I know how Mexican food is supposed to taste because I eat it at home, but sometimes we are busy/tired to cook or dont have the ingredients at home. So I finally tried Evas resturant & Im glad I did! They have lots of options on the menu with good prices. I had a Hawaiian torta, since I love Hawaiian pizza. Cost me $8 plus a drink Agua Fresca of Jamaica/Hibiscus Large for like $3 something. Got fast service, dine-in available. The customers that went were also Mexican & of different cultures. I spoke Spanish to the waitress because that is my first language, they understand me. I highly recommend this place & will be back to try more delicious food. When I was leaving I saw they got more takeout orders & more dine in customers, lot of business for a good place to eat, so we all know its because we are hungry customers that want authentic Mexican food. The picture only shows half my torta because I forgot to take a picture before my 1st bite. 😉
