I went in to see Eliza on a Tuesday for some art prints and framing and she was super helpful, efficient and accommodating throughout the whole process. She was able to get my illustrations printed the same day, and was willing and eager to finish the framing by Thursday the same week. This was my first time getting anything framed so Eliza walked me through the whole decision making process, and the results were amazing. Thank you so much and I will definitely come back :)
I have purchased a few items from this shop and every time Eliza has exceeded my expectations! Each frame is beautifully crafted and carefully wrapped for delivery.Eliza is super knowledgeable about all the products in her shop allowing her to envision the perfect frames and materials for all your pieces. Her outgoing personality made it super easy to discuss my ideas for each of my orders. We (my family and I) have gotten multiple pieces done by Eliza, and they have all been amazing! We framed several album covers and then a few personal photos from vacations; each time Eliza worked closely with us to find the best possible framing given our input. She is so knowledgeable and always has great advice to guide our purchases. The pieces look lovely in our home and we could not be happier with both our special experience in bringing these pieces to life as well as the final products. We will definitely be back to frame more!
Went to get my first picture framed and Eliza was so helpful throughout the whole process. She gave size suggestions to make sure the picture I had didn’t get distorted, and helped me pick out the matting and frame. She also worked with me on the time frame, and got it to us before we had our in laws visit. I can’t recommend her enough! Excellent service and we’re so happy with the final product!
I dont get many pieces of artwork framed but when I do, I go to Eliza Vs. Eliza is very knowledgeable about the business and will work within your budget. Shes friendly and easygoing and takes time to discuss the work you bring in.Ive always been way beyond satisfied with the quality of her work. I have shown photographs framed at her shop, in gallery exhibitions, private residences and in my own home. Id highly recommend her services when you plan on getting your next piece of artwork framed.
First of all, the owner, Eliza, is incredibly knowledgeable and superbly personable. I tend to ask lots and lots of questions which tends to bother some. Eliza, however, was not only tolerant of my questions, but she was enthusiastic about them. Throughout the service from consult to drop off to pick up, she made sure the selections we made were appropriate and that I was satisfied.Second, the price at this shop is the fairest I have found within Chicago. In addition, most framing shops only have framing capabilities, but Eliza Vees was able to produce an incredibly high quality print of my artwork and help me choose the right framing for it. It saved me weeks of extra hassle.If you are looking for custom framing and/or printing with personalized service at a very fair price, Elizas your girl!
Eliza is super creative and very fun to work with. She did whatever was needed to get us our custom made artwork done on time and looking great! I would most definitely recommend Eliza for any future work we need done! A true pleasure to work with and such a fun experience!!
I was very pleased with the professionalism of Peter V. Framing, and the pleasant environment that they portray. The 2 frames that were done there (1 very big that required work to be done in my apartment - the blue painting on the picture, and the other one a picture - above the fireplace on the picture) are a big success.
I had a bunch a photos from a recent vacation printed and framed by Eliza and Im blown away by how beautiful everything turned out! Eliza took the time to help me select the best photos for my gallery wall and helped me design the perfect layout. Cant recommend this local gem enough! I will definitely be back in the future!!
There simply arent enough words to explain how elated I am with Peter Vs Framing. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease knowing that I would find something excellent to work with my piece. I wanted to get my first formal art purchase framed, and Eliza did not hesitate to display a plethora of styles and options for me to indulge in. Eliza, what talent you possess! She answered every little question I presented, making me feel rather important as I had internally dismissed my interrogations as silly. However, not with this one! Eliza is a class act, with the talent and courtesy to match. I ended up choosing a copper - toned frame for my Art by Monday piece, and I honestly cannot stop staring at how beautiful it is. (Submitted in photos). This experience alone made me realize that I will need a framer for the rest of my life, and she is IT. What a pleasant experience! I reached out to Eliza to print a digital piece I had purchased. She was quick to respond and provided guidance on type of paper that would work best. As soon as the print was ready, she contacted me and pickup was simple. A fantastic local, family owned business!
Peter Vs Framing was literally a life saver when I needed a last minute picture framed! My sisters wedding was last week and I had 3 pictures of her and her husband framed to go with their wedding gift. I looked everywhere for a perfect frame that matched with the maroon red theme to go with the color of their living room, but couldnt find it anywhere. I finally searched on google and found this cute little frame shop right by the brown line, I called and I was able to go in SAME DAY to get my pictures sized. It was my first time shopping for a frame so I wasnt too sure how to go about it, when I got there I was greeted by Eliza, who was super helpful and sweet, she sat there with me and helped me find the perfect frame to go with what I needed. It was just what I wanted I almost couldnt believe I found them. My sister, her mother in law, and my mother loved their frames, it was a hit! Ill definitely be coming back to Peters for my future frames.Everyone is cautious as well (wearing masks and keeping their distance) I felt very safe and taken care of.
Eliza’s is a family run business. They are creative and have a keen eye for detail. We’ve had several pieces framed there, each one was done with care. Couldn’t be happier with the final product.

Her space is free for creative input from the customer and her additions are valuable, leading to a fantastic final result. As a member of the community she does business in, Im lucky to have found someone so kind, easy, and fun to build something together with. You will cherish her work.

2021-09-26I wish I could provide a video testimonial.I needed an anniversary gift framed and was on a time crunch and I can’t believe how perfect this came out.I purchased a custom image file from a third party and called over to Eliza and asked what she could do. We spoke on the phone and I emailed her the file and she gave thoughts and suggestions. The next day I went to the shop and she was the kindest person I’ve met in a long time.I always try to search for and utilize small business when doing any sort of purchase, and I couldn’t be happier with this choice. Because I was flexible with the framing, within 36 hours of contact, my giant portrait was framed and ready for delivery. Let me tell you, I couldn’t be happier. I am amazed at the quality in such a short turnaround. I’ve had things framed at large scale places like hobby lobby and the work that Eliza did was head and shoulders above. There were tears of happiness when I delivered the finished product and jaws dropped at the quality.As an avid drone photographer, I will definitely be taking more of my photographs to Eliza V’s Framing & Printing exclusively. If you need something printed or framed or both, or just want to get some ideas, give her a call. 2021-09-14I brought in a personal portrait I had done, to be printed and framed — and I really wanted to go all out with the framing. Eliza was so awesome. It was so easy and fun to spend time in her shop, choosing the best frame & matting options. I left it up to Eliza for the final matting designs and I cannot be more pleased. She did a great job consulting and directing us to beautiful pieces based on our interests. The double matte with color plus a gorgeous frame looks great on our wall. She exhibited the exact sort of listening skills and inquisitiveness that I appreciate. Where is this piece going, what are you trying to achieve, what looks good to you? The end result was eye-catching and really enhanced the print. I highly recommend you talk to her the next time you have something to frame.

2022-06-15Eliza was fantastic. She worked with me on a large digital print that I wanted printed and framed. She was patient and incredibly knowledgable on every part of the process (the type of paper, the size, the frame, coloring, pricing, length of service, etc.). The finished product was spectacular. I plan to use her again for another picture I need printed and framed. Highly, highly recommend.

2021-11-16Eliza was so helpful in finding the right frame and matting for a print for my home. she took the time to get to know me, and offered choices in different price points. Not to mention she was able to cut me a glass for a frame I already had (but had broken) and did it all with friendly neighborly warmth. When the framed print was ready for pick up, it looked even better than I had expected! Definitely will be returning for more framing needs in the future!

2021-12-20Eliza held my hand through the process choosing a gift for my wife. It turned out beautiful and she was thrilled. I went back again for Christmas gifts for my family and she truly outdid herself. Eliza is a kind person with a great eye. It’s so refreshing in this day and age to be able to build a relationship with a business and receive old fashioned customer service. Would give 10 stars if I could
