I Recently Purchased a Unique and Rare A.B.S. Motor / Pump Assembly From S.A.P. of Elgin Illinois.This Part is in Absolutely Beautiful Condition and Was VERY Reasonably Priced. It Arrived On My Door Step in 2.5 Days and Was Shipped Free of Charge. How Could Anyone Not Deal With True Professionals Like S.A.P.Thank You Again,Mike in Tampa 🌴
Very deceptive practices in terms of parts condition. I was sold a b grade wheel which should be considered cosmetic defects only. Wheel was incredibly out of round which only can become evident on a balance machine when I brought this to Bud who was my salesman I was told the only refund would be a store credit less a 20% restocking fee.Edit in response to owner.If all parts are tested or checked before being graded then I was knowingly and deceptively sold a defective and misrepresented part. As for an exchange, no longer needed, a wheel was sourced from a reputable yard. Work trucks need to be on the road not laid up in shops while musical parts is played with con artists.I inquired about a door panel in exchange for the defective wheel to avoid being stuck with some ridiculous store credit Im never going to use.I was in fact told by Bud that there would be a 20% restocking fee regardless of what he told you.As for the CORE deposit, it is entirely irrelevant. Any wheel I brought back would be eligible for a return of the deposit, thats why its called a core deposit. Youre not doing me some favor here. I suspect the the wheel I was sold in the first place was a damaged return core with a B grade slapped on it.The correct move here is to issue a full refund and take back and destroy the defective wheel as it is unsafe for any vehicle., but only a business with integrity would do that.
Really have to hand it to the staff here. Bud helped us find the right part and get it pulled quickly.We had another issue which multiple members of the staff (Carrie and Bryan, and one other) jumped in on to get resolved. Really showed us not only are they good at what they do, but they were really helpful members of the community as well.Thank you!
Do NOT purchase anything from this place. My mom purchased a door for her car and it did not fit. Prior to purchase they had guaranteed this door belong to the type of car and model we needed it for. After installing it the door would not close all the way. There was a gap between the door and the car frame so we took it back. They refused to provide a refund or store credit since we had painted the door a different color. Of course we had to paint the door prior to installing it since the original door was blue and we needed it yellow. I understand maybe not a refund but store credit would have been fair for both parties. Never again. Most of my friends and family go here for car parts but they have lost of of our businesses with them.
Quality of service is phenomenal. Nelson and his crew of workers did a spectacular job on my front bumper and I highly recommend this place to anyone that is in need of auto repair. All around, the quality in service was there and the results were even better. Thank you very much Nelson, you guys did a great job!
Excellent experience. Quick and informative communication with Scott online. Friendly service on site. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, which is saying a lot - considering I purchased an entire rear axle assembly for a full size SUV, as well as a full front differential. Will definitely do business again should the need arise. Thanks again, Scott, Nelson and the nice lady working at checkout!
Called Elgin Super Auto Parts looking for windshield. They had the part. Marco arranged to have glass installer there the next day. Windshield installed without any problems. Saved $$$ from purchasing new. Will call them first when looking for replacement parts for my car. Excellent service and low prices.
I was given the wrong part after assurance it was correct over the phone. After confronting staff of the issues they persisted to have the attitude along the tune of they could care less. After speaking with management they shrugged off liability. I will never shop here again. I have the receipt to prove and pictures to prove the companies ignorance.
After searching their website for a fender, I called them and spoke to Tom. The pictures on the website were not clear because of reflection and glare. Tom said I could come out and look at it to decide if it was satisfactory. He said it would take 10 minutes to remove the fender if I decided to purchase it. I told him I would be out the next day. The drive was an hour and 10 minutes. I arrived and asked to see the fender. I was told to sit and wait and they would get someone to show it to me. I waited 40 minutes. I was then led to the car to see the fender. It had a stripe on it which was not visible in the photos. I went back into the office and told them that would not match my car. Tom stated that he could remove the stripe in 2 minutes and they could have the fender ready to go in 20 minutes. I agreed and paid for it. I waited another 45 minutes. They brought the fender out and I noticed the stripe was still on the fender. Tom said he would get a heat gun and remove it. He came back 5-6 minutes later and said they didn’t have a heat gun. He said the stripe could be easily removed. But at this point, I didn’t know what to believe because nothing he had told me so far was true. He said he could give me a refund and he was “being paid for selling parts and not removing the detail on the fender”. I agreed to the refund and left without the part. Wasted over half a day. Don’t tell someone you can do something if you can’t. Don’t give someone a time frame if you cannot live up to it. This damages your reputation and your integrity.
I called on Friday. Tom was very thorough. I sent pictures of my car and he assured me it would work. Picked up bumper on Monday; exactly what I wanted and a very reasonable price. It was ready to go when I got there. Drove over two and a half hours to get it! Would shop there again!
This is the second time I come to this store and have had a horrible experience. Customer service is so disrespectful! Both times that I have gone they have told me it was my fault for ordering the wrong part. It seems that they intentionally sell you the wrong parts just to profit. There are so many more auto parts/junkyards that you could go to, rather than this one. Save your time and your money by not stopping here at all. Elgin Super Auto Parts really disappoints. I really wish that I could give 0 stars. Worst experience ever!
Fast to take your money, slow to pull your part. Waited 40minutes to pull a lock from a trunk. A part that can be removed in less than two minutes. Prices are above average for used parts, almost double what you could pay on Amazon or eBay. Not likely to buy here again.
Terrible service. Used them in October and they damaged our gutters during delivery. We had no other deliveries that weekend, no storms to cause falling branches, nor do either of our vehicles reach the gutters on our garage. The company delivered on a Friday evening and I sent emails that weekend with pictures. When I called Tuesday because I had no follow up on Monday the associate spoke over me multiple times, talked down to me, told me too much time had passed since the delivery (even though youre closed Saturday and Sunday and I reported the situation via email that weekend) and assured me it could NOT have been the delivery drivers fault because he asked him and the driver said nothing happened plus he said You know, its not the drivers first home delivery. When I said accidents happen and every home is different, his response was essentially Yes they do happen so it must have been something you did. Not really sure how that negates the fact that accidents can happen in a delivery and automatically make it something we did, but that was his response.That was the last I heard and that was from someone who was neither the person who sold us the part nor the manager. I was then told the manager would be in contact with us about the situation When he has time. So its unclear how issues are resolved there. With that in mind we have contacted the BBB about the situation.
The most unprofessional staff at the desk. Walked in looking for a small clip to hold down a floor mat. The Jerk behind the desk first acted like we were bothering him, he wasnt even looking at us while asking us what do you want?. We mentioned that we needed a clip to hold down the floor mat and he immediately said 35 dollar minimum and proceed to go back to what he was doing on his computer. I would have gladly picked up more parts as I need a bunch for a lexus is300 which there was 5 there!I belong to several car groups and seeing that this yard actually had 5 cars local would have been great. I will be sharing this review with them and with many others to avoid such a horrible place. I should have read the past reviews before entering this place. Never again and I will make sure no one that I know goes there. Word of mouth spreads quickly, especially online. Hopefully they change their ways but seeing the past reviews, I doubt it.Im sure the owner will reply and hopefully has a talk with his staff but probably wont and blame it on me like they have in all their replies. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!
BAIT & SWITCH - VERY UNPROFESSIONALI called Elgin Super Auto Parts and was quoted a price (part, deposit and tax) over the phone. When I arrived they told me the price (part, deposit and tax) and sent me to the cashier window.The cashier asked for an amount more than I was quoted, when I asked to see the invoice I noticed an additional $5 disposal fee. When I asked the cashier about this she pointed to a sign next to the window that stated that $5 would be added to all orders for disposal fee. I told her that I was not quoted this; she stated that she was not authorized to make any changes. I asked her who was authorized and if they were willing to lose a sale over $5. I told her that I drove 20 minutes to get the part.THE CASHIER RIPPED UP THE INVOICE AND SHE SAID HAVE A NICE 20 MINUTE DRIVE BACK HOME!VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!I went back to the gentlemen who took my order; he stated he would take the $5 off... I went back to the cashier window and the $5 charge was still on the invoice. I asked the cashier about this and she crossed off the line and hand wrote in the new total price. I initialed the hand written changes on the invoice and asked her to initial as well. She stated that she couldnt make changes to the invoice (however she just crossed off and hand wrote in the new price). The sales associate came over and initialed the invoice.I paid for the part and the cashier left me standing at the window then she left the cashier booth... she didnt bother to tell me how or where to pick up the part. The sales associate latter stopped by and explained to have a seat and they were picking the part.Bottom line, I should have been given an honest price on the phone, again when I was working with the sales associate, and shown the invoice for review before being asked to pay for what I wasn’t quoted.The cashier should have directed me back to the sales associate to take care of the invoice problem instead of ripping up the invoice in front of me and telling me to have a nice drive home!I did receive another part quote for $10 more from another company... in retrospect it would have been only $5 more (because of the untold $5 fee) and if I went to the other company I probably wouldnt have been treated so rudely.Next time I will pay the extra $5 and deal with a company that is not rude to their customers and give the appearance of trying to overcharge from what was quoted.I gave 2 stars because of the sales associate taking off the charge and explaining the process. I would have given a 0 based on the cashier.A cashier with an attitude like that doesnt deserve a job interfacing with customers. I hope the company management is aware of the problem and how this drives business away.
Called Elgin Super for a part i could not find anywhere else. They were able to find my part very quickly, in fact they were nice to call me the next day to tell me that it was ready for pickup!! When i arrived they were very quick to help me and i was in and out with no hassle which was great because i had to get back to work! Definitely will use Elgin Super for all my future purchases!!
I needed a battery and a few other parts for my car and a friend of mine recommended I call Elgin Super. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. The process was quick and easy and I was able to pick up all my parts that day. I will definitely be going there again.

I am a shop and not sure how this place is in business. Called at 10:30am ordered parts told them I will show up in a few hours pick them up. I was assured they would be ready. Allen at 330 spoke with the sales man (Jim) and told him I will be there with in the hour. He said ok. I walked in at 4:05, paid, and was told they got busy and will be pulled by 4:55, I was told to wait around or come back. I understand a place can get busy and said ok. At 4:55 I walked back in and they said to come back tomorrow since they did not finish the job. At this point I am not a happy person and neither is the sales person. I am told to come back at 10am next day. The next day I arrive by 1pm. Looked at parts and see they pulled wrong control arm. So I go to talk to the Jim and have been waiting here for the past 40 minutes. My time is way more valuable then to wait twice for over 40 min.. Jim checked up on the part for me 15 min ago. Still nothing. There is a lack of communication between the sales people and the pullers and the clients are the ones that suffer. I dont think I will be coming back to this place. I deal with a lot of yards and this is one of the worst. I hope they fix this issue. Finally an employee named Jason asked me what is going on and is trying to resolve the issue. I was told that the part was no good, which again it happens but contacting the client and letting them know what is going on should be a priority at that point. After speaking to two employees I was told the sales person Jim told The picker to pull the wrong part in the first place. I and am not happy about this but would like to thank Jason for actually helping me out. He actually cared to help me and solve the problem.
5/14/2013: Where to start? I have heard from friends, that work at a few shops around town, that this place is a pain to work with. However they had my part and they were local, so I went with them. I purchased the part online on a Sunday (they are closed on Sunday). Knowing what my friends have said, looking at their website, and reading some of the other reviews online, I decided it would be best to call and confirm the order the next morning.When I called I was informed that there were no online orders that came in that weekend, and that the guy who deals with online stuff will be in the following day. I was told I should just call back then to figure this all out. That was not an option as I needed the part that evening to fix my wifes car.I was a bit confused by this but not surprised from what I have heard, so I read them my invoice number from my receipt, that I had at the ready. I was told that the invoice number I have is not valid and that it had too many numbers! So there was no way for them to look up my order at all.I then asked if they could just set the part aside and I will just come in on my lunch break with my receipt as proof, as I needed the part that night. They guy said no problem, took my name down, and said he would set it aside for me.I show up at the place a few hours later on my lunch break. I walk in and everyone is either on the phone or chatting with other employees. There were no other customers there and I stood waiting for about 5 min before someone called me over to their area to help me.When I explained why I was there the guy got up and talked to some other man behind a glass partition. This other man told me the part just left with Speedy (whoever or whatever that is) and that it would arrive at my place the following day.At this point my blood was boiling. I did everything I possibly could to ensure I got that part that evening. I told the man that the guy I spoke to in the morning (his name escapes me) told me he would set the part aside. The mans response to this was a shoulder shrug of the Not my problem variety. He repeated it would be delivered the following day and that was all that was said.I walked out and on my way home called and left a message to see if this Speedy would need a signature when they dropped the package off. I did not get any call back. I should have follow up but I had my fill with the people there.All in all this place had the worst service I have ever experienced. What kind of place just shrugs off a customer issue like that? Be very wary of this place, you have been warned! I for one will be avoiding this place like the plague, hence forth.EDITED REVIEW 5/15/2013: I just received an email informing me the shipping cost was refunded. I appreciate the refund and thank you to Bryan for taking the steps to correct the issue.
This company is trash..good luck trying to return a part never go to this company. I went here for a hvac control module the part they gave me was so old and appeared to have soda spilled on it. It didnt work they dont return your money they only give instore credit or exchange the part. Completely useless
I order a engine for my F150 and they offer me a engine from a Ford explorer but when they delivered it was from and e150 so I got stuck swapping everything to get it to fit. Next problem was I paid to have core picked up and I have waiting 4 month to get core picked up and every week they tell me they will get it but never have shown up. All I want is my core picked up and my deposit returned. I would think twice about by anything from them if this is how they treat paying customers
Came in to get a rim for my nissan Sentra. It came in the day as they said it would. I wasnt able to make in before closing and a very nice person by the name of Tom waited for me to come by and get it. He sure saved me an extra trip the next day to the tire place. Thanks once again, everyone was very helpful. Would definitely come back to get more parts .
They only get 1 star because no stars isnt an option. Business is owned by clowns and hired by clowns to run it. Ill never spend my money here. Nor will anybody I know. The sign on the back of my truck for the world to see will ensure it. Ill push a car right past this place even if they had the 10 cent part to fix it so I can drive.
I got a rim and a tire for 115 for my car. They even sent me to a place a block away to get it put on my car for 15. Very helpful, run by a lot of nice people, my door even jammed as I was trying to leave, and they fixed it too. If youre looking for automotive help for the low low, this is the place to go. Very fast service, had to wait for a little but they have chairs so my grandpa didnt have to stand.
Called this place looking for wheels. They said they had them in stock. I mentioned I would be paying for the item with a credit card. He mentioned that they except cards just not via phone. When I arrived to there facility I paid for the wheels by card, but there was a 2% processing fee. I asked the sales rep if there was a processing fee via internet. He told me no! I asked him why he did not mentioned that to me when I spoke to him over the phone. He told me that I didnt ask him, so he didnt feel the need to tell me (sneaky, sneaky). To me if you know the answer and your withholding information that may be deemed useful / important to the customer, that is considered dishonest. He knew I was going to pay with a card in at advance, but yet he didnt tell me that there was a processing fee. POOR SERVICE!!!!!
Please be wary of Elgin Super Auto. Do not buy parts from them, you likely will be disappointed. I ordered a very expensive part from them. I sent them a picture of the part I needed. I have a Toyota. Five days later, after paying a ton for shipping, a part for from a Nissan shows up. The part I needed and paid for showed up two weeks later. Long after I purchased the part elsewhere and installed it. You would think they would refund my money. Lord no, they wouldnt even call me back. So here I am telling you about it. Do not buy parts from Elgin Super Auto. Pete
I purchased a turbo over the phone with Elgin Super. I had my mechanic on the phone with them and they assured that they were looking at the turbo, and it was in working condition with zero shaft play. A term my mechanic said was imperative to the quality and functionality of the turbo. When I called them back to complain and request at a minimum of an exchange they said that they had no record of the transaction. I am out $350 and the frustration of buying another one from an aftermarket website. Do not do business with these people. They are selling CRAP parts and will lie to you and not stand behind their parts.
Terrible customer service. I needed a rear brake caliper. They gave me a bad part the first time with a bad bleeder screw and bad park brake cable adjuster on the caliper. Then they give me another caliper with a torn piston boot. I wait another 30 minutes (this review doesnt include all the time I took to install the caliper and then wait for the first one which took a total altogether of about 8 hours). These guys suck.
My motor came from this junkyard and its knocking now my mechanic who put it on try to do a valve adjust and it did not solve the issue idk what to do anymore mechanic wont get back to me i paid good money for a good motor and all i want is a good motor thats quiet and has no knocking noise please help!
I had been looking for a steering column cover from a 79 Toyota truck for years before I finally found one at Elgin Super Auto Parts. Being from Canada, there was some hesitation as the company ships within the continental U.S. However, after talking with Bryan and explaining thats its for an old Toyota Corolla racecar and that the cover was broken during a failed car theft attempt, he made an exception for me. I am so grateful to Elgin Super Auto Parts and to Bryan for helping me. They sold me the part at a great price and shipped it right away. I recommend this company 100% and would do business with them anytime !! Good job and keep up the great work !!
Was told they had two rims to fit my car guaranteed straight. First one had large gouge second one was bent. Would not refund money despite not having the part I needed and paid for. The only notice of any kind that they do not give refunds is on the bottom of the receipt AFTER YOU PAY. I had to purchase an expensive refurbished rim for additional cost or take a store credit. Lousy customer service and products.
First of all let me say I had a little trepidation driving all the way down from Rockford to use this company based on some of the reviews. I own a service/retail business myself and know that some reviewers are just plain hard to deal with as customers in person and no matter what you do for them they don’t value your services. But, I can say this as someone that used to pull parts at an import auto recycling yard in Wisconsin; I was more than pleasantly surprised at the high level of service and professionalism I experienced. From the front desk to the door it was top notch. I even made the mistake of not taking a big enough vehicle down to transport the door for my Daewoo Lanos back and I was offered installation by some of the employees. So, I wanted to say thank you to everyone and especially to Adrian. You guys are truly are the “Home of The Professionals!”
I bought a trans-axle online. Drove 50 minutes each way to pick it up.Inspected the filter and found chunks of friction material in it.I called and was told to bring it back and get another. I was toldthey had several to choose from. So I drove another 50 minutes each way.I drop off the bad trans and all of a sudden Im being brushed off withthem saying they dont have a trans that will work. Im told my refund back to myPaypal is already done. I get home check both Paypal and my charge cardbut there is no refund.This place was a waste of my time and now I wonder if Ill get my money backwithout a fight.
Driving through Chicago to California with a trailer on my car and blew my transmission from too much weight (thanks Uhaul). Had a hard time finding a good deal on a new one until I found Elgin Super Auto. Spoke with both Bud and Bryan - they were both really helpful in getting the correct transmission to my guy quickly and it worked great. I was on my way in no time - unlike the original 2 weeks I was quoted from my guy to start. I would definitely use them if I was ever stuck in Chicago again.
Very upset with this place my mechanic bought a motor here and installed my motor and my motor is really loud and it has a knocking noise around the lifters and timing chain he tried to do a valve adjust 3 times and it did not solve the issue now i have to wait for another rsx to get junked with a good low mileage engine for my RSX who knows how long that will take
Purchased the part, and told me it’ll be 15 mins. 20 mins passed and I asked again said it’ll take another 10 mins. Finally I asked one last time went around to the back and guy told me another 20 mins. Wasting my time, if it was going to take that long why not just tell me and I’ll come back when it’s ready. Horrible.
I have been working in the automotive repair industry for years now. I just opened my own business where I repair vehicles that have been in collisions and make performance alterations to diesel vehicles. I called them because I needed a windshield for a family members vehicle that I was helping fix after a collision. They said that they had a few in stock over the phone and that they were in perfect condition, thats why they are selling it. I needed it quickly so I drove from Amboy Illinois to come and get the windshield because they said that they had a few in stock. When I got there I had to wait for the sales man to finish eating his lunch before he would help me. Once he got around to helping me he said he had one and would bring it out and tried to make me go an pay for it without looking at it. I told him I would like to look at them all. He sent me with an employee that did not speak any English to walk around to their yard and show me a windshield that appeared to be sandblasted from road salt over the years. The windshield was located in a rickety dark old semi trailer. I tried to get him to bring it out into the light but he kept on replying, you want it?. In my quick inspection (it was sub zero temps outside) the glass looked OK besides the concern of the sandblast, but I did need one quickly. It was after I purchased it, got it to my heated shop let it sit for a few hours and went to prep it for install into the vehicle I noticed a small hairline crack on the top of the windshield in the tinted portion of the glass. After removing the rubber stripping the crack grew, stretching the length of the windshield. A windshield that is free of damage will not break in the preparation portion of the install. I called them and they told me to bring it back and they will exchange it. I got there and they said that I broke it just after I overheard one of the employees there say that it doesnt look like he (me) dropped it or damaged it. They were real quick to try to sell me another one, one that they couldnt show me before at a reduced price. The whole experience infuriated me and I angry called out their sheisty business practices. All I asked them to do was to make the situation right and exchange the windshield like they said they would over the phone. While I was still standing there watched one sales man attempt to sell a dented door to a woman, and then a door skin to repair their crap and try to sell her. The Super Auto employee told her it would be cheaper than just buying a replacement door. Anyone with some body shop experience knows that is the wrong way of fixing a bad panel. I called them out on this with the woman right there, in response they called the police on me. When the police arrived, all they did was enable Super Auto Parts to rip off other customers by saying to take it to small claims court. These people are licensed con artists that will attempt to rip you off in a heartbeat. DO NOT BUY parts from them if you want the repair to be done headache free with a quality replacement part. My business will never do business with them again. If you need quality parts go to any other reputable salvage yard. Buy from these guys at your own risk, just know that a receipt means nothing at this JUNK yard.
This place should not even get a star at all purchased a 4.7 engine picked up engine got back to shop inspect engine found bad plugs oil was well over due no biggie said to my self Ill change oil and plugs that needs to be done with any used engine everytime I get a used engine I pit all new gaskets open engine to see if all was good rotated engine found timing chain guides broken call back and spoke with a man named Jim that had not one bit of customer service skills told him what I had found then he said to put new chains and guide in it I paid 2000 for junk asked for another engine was told since I opened it up no warranty sorry and he hung up the phone called back ask to speak to his manager for refund said I should had not opened it instead installed then they would had warranty it out horrible place horrible people scammer should not be in business I had read most of the review but dont worry the manager is on top of it and no it was for super elgin and I spoke with u on the phone u should correct it u want a real review on this place just call them
Horrible customer service sold me the wrong parts intentionally just to make a sell then charged a 20% restocking fee due to there own mistake very poorly ran facility in a bad part of town parts laying everywhere motors laying on there sides wiring harness on engines are all cut where they should just be unplugged do not recommend buying or doing business with this company
Bad service had to go more 2 times because the alternator they give me dont work each had there own problem and counter took down my info for one year warranty told to look up my info 3 hrs early hopefully they had the alternator but no stay 45 min to get the wrong one then i went back to get another one took 30 min it had one of the pins for the plug side ways so now i got go back

2022-03-02Ordered these Friday they just arrived today (Tuesday) Tom is the gentleman who I spoke with he even had the courtesy to call me and tell me shipping had gone up and asked if I wanted my money back I’m still in these cheaper than some remand that are painted off eBay plus they have the center caps minus one and the monitors! I will be doing buisness with these guys from here on out! Excellent service and fast shipping

2022-06-01This place is a rip off. They over charge you for parts. They would rather scrap the vehicle than sell you the parts at a reasonable price. I found cheaper an better grade parts in Chicago. Thanks for allowing me to go spend my $1200 in parts with another business. Still much cheaper than the price I got quoted. Rip-offI gave the correct review, and no this is my only review. I said it correctly. You all are a rip off. I called earlier about. You state one price for the part, but what people dont know is. You dont give them everything that comes with the part. If a part has 7 pieces to make a whole part, its supposed to have 7 pieces. Not you only get 2 of the 7 pieces needed, but I can pay extra for those pieces thats supposed to come with. Thats like selling shoes with no shoe laces, but I can pay extra for the laces if I want them. Rip-off like I said. Just admit that your trying to pocket extra money for yourself. 2022-05-20This place was a complete disappointment. I paid for my part over two weeks ago. They RAN my original part over with a FORKLIFT. Second one was rotted out, and FINALLY one came in. BUT THEY MADE ME PAY EXTRA for their mistakes. They have no sort of apology, didnt try to make the situation better. There was no reason for me to pay extra for a mistake that I did not make. Thanks for your horrendous service.

2022-06-01Bought a transmission that was (tested ) paid a shop to install it only for the transmission to be bad .They then gave me a credit .Ordered a engine for my other car with the credit ,they said engine have been ordered and tested .go to pick it up and they tell me I have to pay half and Use the credit for other half !!!watch out for these scammers

2021-12-07I Would have to say this place is the best place to get any parts you need for any of yours car parts,I have gotten probably 6-8 engines and other parts from this place and they always make sure it works before they sell it and they have never let me down they are the first place I call for any part I need because there is one guy I deal with at super Elgin and his name is Tom and he is probably the best person you can talk to because he can get you any part you need and will work with you.if he doesn’t have it he can get it in the a couple of days with no questions asked so I highly recommend giving him a call when you need any type of automotive parts he is the man to call. Overall this is the best place i go to for any parts for my cars because they beat any other junkyard nearby by far. So if you your looking for a part give them a call and they will help you out because super Elgin has my business to keep coming back and so should you for any type of automotive parts.

2021-11-11When you call Elgin Ask for Tom, he is dependable and knows his stuff. Its nice knowing that i get the right parts and no issues. Give him the guys over there credit they put up with a lot, Also making their lives easier giving them the vin or exact part number will give you the less headaches in the long run. 2021-11-11Wow!! I cannot recommend Tom from Elgin Super Auto Parts enough! I know just about nothing about cars, so when the engine failed on mine and the dealer said it would be $7000 to replace it I was freaking out just a little. I did some research and found this place. Tom helped reassure me that I had the right engine for my car, recommended a mechanic in the area that he worked with personally, and even helped deliver the engine there! I would recommend this place and Tom too all my family and friends!
