What can I say i love this dental office. Had a really bad experience several years ago with an orthodontist/dentist and I really lost hope on finding a good dental office until I found this office . This office is awesome , Dr hang did amazing job with my filling . Also Pava the hygienist is a sweetheart , she is so helpful and explains everything to you in detail and gives information how to take care if your teeth. She is just amazing . The receptions and office manager Liz are so friendly too and explain you with detail when it comes to insurance and billing .Everybody that works here are so friendly and willing to help you in any concern or question you have .
Had a great experience this week as a new patient. Maribel and Dr. Katris were both very well recommended and now I know why! They were both very patient as I expressed my concerns and assured me I would be taken care of. Maribel did an amazing job and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Thank you Elgin Dental, I couldn’t be happier with my new dentist!
We love Elgin dental associates! Everyone is so friendly. Amber in the front desk is really nice and very easy to talk to. Our hygienist Shenika is the best. Shes so nice and friendly and she does a really good job in cleaning your teeth. I would highly recommend Elgin dental associates.
Hands down the best dental office Ive been to! The staff is super friendly. Ive always been extremely anxious and nervous about going to the dentist and they honestly made that fear of mine go away, they do an amazing job and make sure you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend coming here!
I had not had any dental work done in quite a while. The service was exceptional and the staff was super friendly. They explained everything in a clear way that helped me understand what was being done and why. Rosalba accommodated me in spanish and English when needed. Although I am bilingual I appreciate her amazing effort to speak to me in spanish after she made sure which language I preferred. She was super nice and made sure I was comfortable at all times while providing the best of service. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to get their dental work done here.
Doctor mcCarroll is a great Dentist and so are his staff . They are all very friendly!
This office got me comfortable visiting the dentist. First, the gentle, guiding hands of each dentist I’ve encountered and my dental hygienist, Shenika, who reassured me step by step. She successfully got my dental work caught up. Now it’s so easy for me to go on for my check-ups and cleanings because I have no fear of what’s to come. The pediatric dentist, Dr. Johnny, has been a true gift to my children as well. He teaches my kids how to care for their teeth, but more importantly, he listens to them and treats them with value and dignity as individuals. The office staff, especially Amber and the office manager, are so kind, and they know my family members individually by name. I’ll never leave! Thank you for being the dental home for my teeth. 😁

First-time patient! Dentist visits are always a little scary so I was worried walking into a new place but there was no need. This place was awesome! Pava was my dental hygienist and she was super informative. She explained everything down to a t, and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the exam. I have honestly never been to a dentist office where everyone is so friendly and helpful.

I was unimpressed by this office visit. I came in for a consultation, and the wait time was longer than the actual exam. I was seen by the Dentist for no more than 5-10 minutes. I provided X-Rays from a previous exam, and they charged my insurance $100 for just sitting in their chair. Their staff did not properly explain the day of exam or prior to my appointment what all would be included, although they called 3-4 times to confirm and I explained what I was looking for, it was a non-thorough exam.
Very professional, informative, friendly, know their business, proven by my successful results! In my opinion, they are the best of the best! So much so that they are not even in my insurance plan but I decided to have my procedures done here due to their proven long term results on me. A+
The most wonderful staff from start to finish. Specially with kids!! I’ve NEVER seen an assistant introduce ea h instrument, how it works and let my 5 year old hold some of them to help her feel comfortable. Their dedication is in matched!! I recommend Dr. Kuttab to all my friends and family with little ones, he is truly the best!

As always Dr. Kuttab and staff are very friendly, helpful, professional, and understanding. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out they make you feel welcomed. I love that Dr. Kuttab and staff work together as a team to make the visit more pleasant specially for a 2 year old toddler and a worried mom. I highly recommend Elgin Dental Associates for your child and or for any other treatment you might need. The hygenists, dentists, and specialists are very professional and always work hard to give the best treatment for their patients.
This is the most professional and cleanest dental offices I’ve visited.Sandy from the front desk was super friendly when she greeted me and was very clear when we went over the finances.The hygienist Rosalba was informative and did a great job at explaining what I needed done. She was also very gentle and even provided lip balm.I would definitely recommend!

I’ve never felt more comfortable at a dental office until I started coming to Elgin dental. The staff is amazing starting with Amber at the front desk who is always with a smile and awesome attitudes, to Anel who is Dr. Hang’s amazing assistant who always answers all my questions. Definitely recommend this office!
I like the dentist but they are really expensive compared to other dentists. They also charge you a $50 fee if you dont call to cancel or reschedule your appt 48 hours ahead of time; however, they can reschedule or cancel your appt at the last minute which is a major inconvenience to you. The service is great and the staff is really friendly.
I couldn’t have had a better experience. My hygienist and the front staff were top notch. I had an issue with my insurance and they were quick to help me resolve it. On top of that I haven’t had regular dental care in years and was extremely nervous. I left there excited to come back and get the rest of the work done that I’ve been putting off for years. Everyone there was just so nice.
Everyone is so kind and personable. My 3 kids have grown up seeing “Dr. Johnny” Kuttab. He has been a wonderful dentist for them! I am sad that my son is now too old to see him, but I know the other dentist are great too. And Shenika is a super hygentist! She makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience! Lastly, I have always been happy with Dr. Katris’s work over the years. He pays attention to details, which I love!
I’ve been a patient at Elgin Dental Associates going on 4.5 years now, and their patient care continues to outshine as the best in class! I’m always warmly greeted by the front desk staff (special thank you to Amber) and promptly seen by my gentle, warm and inviting Dental Hygienist, Shenika!Shenika has always gone above and beyond to listen to and address my concerns. My most recent visit in May is one of the most memorable! She took her time to thoroughly explain the decalcification process w/ an easy to follow treatment plan. Not only did she explain, she provided teach back experience so that I was allowed to see where the decalcification is located and assured me it was reversible. I’m insecure about my smile, but she makes me feel comfortable and at ease. Her sweet and funny disposition is just an added bonus :)P.S. YES! Feeling “at ease” at a dental office IS NOT a myth! Haha!I live over 30 miles away in Chicago, yet I refuse to be seen at another “subpar” dental office. I’ve had terrible experiences with dismissive dentist providing 10-15 minute cleanings. I love going to the dentist (any doctor for that matter), so I pay close attention to their patient assessment skills.Elgin Dental Associates hits the mark EVERY time! This office is so clean and well managed (special thanks to Liz). I feel secure in knowing they have and always will do their best! Dr.Katris leads by example to provide a warm and inviting “family-like” experience for staff and patients.Everything that makes this office “special” is absolutely obvious from their staff to patient centered care! This Dental practice is amazing! I broke one of my front teeth and was embarrassed to even see a dentist. Everyone made me feel welcome and at ease. My tooth was fixed and now I can smile again. Thankyou to your entire staff. I will definitely recommend you to everyone.

The staff is wonderful and kind. They are very organized and I never have to wait long to be seen. I really hate going to the dentist for dental work but the dental hygienist by the name of Shenika Anderson was so gentle and thorough. She is very knowledgeable and explains things so that you can understand. I had anesthetic placed and I didnt even feel a pinch and it worked so well that I didnt feel anything being done which has never happened for me before. I advise anyone to request her, she is amazing at what she does!!! And the dentist Dr. Katris is great and is very personable. They make me feel at ease. The staff is helpful when it comes to telling you exactly what your insurance will cover up front with no surprises! I will definitely keep going here!Edit: Years later and Im still amazed at how the service is at this place. This truly is the best dental office I have been to. Dr Katris is so pleasant. This was my daughters first dentist appointment and they were amazing! From start to finish they focused on her and making her comfortable. The tech Natalie was amazing with my daughter as well as Dr. Kuttab. I did not feel rushed and they thoroughly provided all the information I needed. My daughter LOVED her first dentist appointment! I will definitely bring my entire family here from now on.
I don’t normally write reviews but... Rosabla is AMAZING!! Her knowledge and passion of being an hygienist is mind blowing!! She took amazing care of me and walked me through everything to make me feel comfortable. I looked forward to seeing her again! If you need a very brilliant person in there field then my homie Rosabla is that person! Very welcoming staff from the front desk to the doctors and dental staff. Everyone was very personable and friendly. The Dental assistants were super gentle and patient. The hygienist and Dentist explained step by step the prognosis for better dental health and how to prevent gum disease. At checkout the receptionist was so patient and made sure to provide us with the whole printout of the estimated cost for the upcoming procedures as well as the prinout of the multiple appointments. Overall, my experience and my daughters was beyond amazing. I loved the office, very professional, clean, and very welcoming. They accommodate your needs and I loved this office so much. It’s multi specialty for your family’ Dental needs.
New to Chicago and was looking for a new dental office for myself and my family. I was recommended to this office by my niece and I must say I was completely blown away with the friendliness of the staff and the exceptional service that we received. Office was clean and had top equipments, I had to ask if everyone was always so friendly and nice because I couldnt believe the customer service. They have claimed a new family and I cannot wait to go get our teeth cleaned again. The most organized and friendly dentist office I have ever visited. On our first visit we were shown around and introduced to every associate we saw. Every associate stopped to shake our hands and say hi. The hygienist, Rosalba, was great! She walked us through every step of the cleaning as she was doing the cleaning. She was very friendly and took time to answer all questions. Great job!
Ive been a patient since 1994 and the team has always provided great dental care and customer service, going above-and-beyond to address even difficult dental issues. Most recently, its clear that they have made significant investments in equipment, procedures and training to ensure patient and staff safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It shows that health, safety and customer service are top priorities for Dr. Katris and the team - a key reason Ive stayed with Elgin Dental Associates, even though I need to drive a bit longer after having moved houses several times. I highly recommend them.

I lovveeeee this dental office. I literally will not go anywhere else! I’ll come from out of town just to have them take care of my teeth. My hygienist Shenika is literally the best! She gives you step by step instructions when she needs something from you. She lets you know what she’s doing and why. She cares about her patients and their health! Dr. Safi is amazing as well! He checks you out throughly and makes sure you know what you need to do going forward. Every one there is super detailed and makes sure you know what to expect and leave feeling like a million bucks! Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Every appointment is a great experience. They make sure you fully understand everything and that you are comfortable during their services. My experience was everything my wife had described from her 3 visits to Elgin Dental. The reception staff was very professional, friendly and hospitable. The facility is modern, immaculate and has state of the art equipment. Dental Assistant Julia and Dr Katris were very thorough in their initial exam and in explaining their findings and detailed treatment plan. Can you imagine this comment about visiting a dentist...I look forward to my next visit!!!
Everyone at Elgin Dental is so friendly! I was in for my six month cleaning and check up and Hygenist Shenika Anderson did a great job. She is thorough and gentle and always explains the process and gives me useful tips to keep my teeth and gums in the best condition. She remembers me (or takes the time to review my info) as is evident during my visit. Dr. Safi is the same way. I would strongly recommend this practice to anyone looking for honest and caring service.

After years of not going to the dentist I finally decided to go and I couldn’t be happier with the experience here. My last dentist compared to this one was horrible. Here i was a new client and I was given a thorough walkthrough and explanation of everything going on and everything that was being done with me as well as recommendations of what I should do. Every single employee was super nice and awesome to talk to. Rosalba was the one taking care of me the most and she was absolutely incredible. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience absolutely happy.
This is a wonderful practice. Dr. Timothy Hang is a skilled, charming and kind man. His staff of hygienists is warm and wonderful, and are dedicated to your comfort. They offer information other practices do not. You learn so much.I have been going to dentists for over 30 years and this is by far the best experience. I highly recommend them.

Ive never seen an all around, top of the line services given in one place: great patient care, nicest people starting from the front desk, hygienists (my sweet, Maribel), and Dr Katris and his colleagues. The place is also so exquisitely decorated. As you walk in, youre greeted withgenuine, sweetest smiles, they offer you bottled water or coffee as you wait, then, after your care, you are given fresh from a package,single use, steaming, real cotton terry towel to wipe your face! I feel like Im in a spa! I will never go anywhere else.

Shenika is the best. Ive never had a dental hygienist spend so much time cleaning and inspecting my teeth. You can tell she really cares. The office provides you with water as you wait, lip balm if youre having a chapped day, and upon leaving you get a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. Lastly, Dr. Safi is meticulous about his work and works hard to provide you with perfect fillings and crowns.
This is the friendliest dentist team I have ever been to. They take extreme precautions to reduce pain as much as possible, like using a topical pain killer before the novocaine shot. And no tisk-tisking me as they work like my last dentist.

Dr. Safi is an amazing dentist. His recommendations were confirmed by my friend who is a Orthodontist. I have been to the clinic unfortunately more than I would like in the last 8 months.I cant comment on the pricing vs. other clinics as I have not cross compared any other placeI would recommend Dr. Safi if you are in the area.
I went into a state of panic when I lost a gold filling which had been in place for over 40 years. As a person with dental phobias I was anxious having to schedule a visit with a dentist I had never met, as my work schedule would not afford me going to my regular dentist in Chicago. After doing my research on the internet I found EDA had excellent reviews. I was able to obtain an appointment the very next day. Both Amber and Jasmine were very polite and answered all my questions. Dr. Katris’s gentle demeanor, aided in my feeling less anxious. He did a comprehensive examination, while allowing and encouraging questions and providing answers. Betty the dental assistant was proficient in her role and very caring and knowledgeable. Maribel the dental hygienists was professional and explained everything as she went along. I give this practice and Dr. Katris an EXCELLENT rating! If you are looking for a dentist , look no further!!!

Shenika my hygienist was totally awesome. The whole staff is great and attentive when I came through the door. Shenika is really educated on what I had wrong and how we could correct it. Usually a trip to the dentist would be painful but not this time. Afterwards my mouth felt great. Im actually looking forward to my next visit.
Staff at front desk very friendly! I was a patient of dr. Patel almost 10 years ago and had a permanent retainer put in. It had come loose, and he fixed it very quickly!
I have been going to Elgin Dental / Carol Stream Dental for decades! Dr. Katris is an excellent dentist because of his gentle and kind ways. The team he built around him reflect these qualities. Dr. Elger, Natasha, Shenika, Elizabeth, and Amber, as well as others, are just a few of the people who make a visit a pleasant experience.

I have been going here for a long time and have always had pleasant experiences with all my regular cleanings, and when I had two teeth removed. Hygienists and dentists are always glad to explain any procedures or answer any questions.
My toddler doesnt sit still and the staff performs miracles by relating to his active nature in a positive, encouraging manner.I highly recommend the practice. The staff has always been responsive to my queries.
Shenika my hygienist and Dr. Katris were wonderful. They took care of me and my mouth. I had a previous dentist that didnt do half the work they did for me. I am glad I was able to find a dentist and hygienist that care about my well being.

My wife and I have been going here for a at least 3 years now and the Carol Stream location before that. Ive never had a bad experience. Eveyone is very friendly. The hygentists and doctors always take the time to ensure you are comfortable and understand everything that is going on. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else.

This has been by far the best dentist place I’ve been to . Maribel is awesome, I always feel welcomed by everybody as soon as I walk in . I honestly don’t see myself changing to any other place . Highly recommend, can’t emphasize how much this place deserves the 5 stars .
Never ever go to this clinic. Staff is very bad, not knowledgeable always speaking own language don’t have any idea what they are doing. Thay screwed up my daughters retainer I m working with them to fixing her and getting a new retainer for a one year from now which was made from them not correct. They are not doing anything about it and they don’t care about it..very very very bad service...

2022-05-06Don’t be surprised if you walk out of this dentist office in tears. I have never been made to feel embarrassed or judged about my teeth until coming here. I recently moved to the area and was a first time patient here. My last cleaning was under a year ago in Chicago. I was there for over 1.5 hours and didn’t even get my teeth cleaned which was what the appointment was made for.

2021-09-21From the moment you make an appointment at Elgin Dental Associates you know this place is something special. They send a couple reminders of your upcoming appointment giving ample time to reschedule if need be. Filling out new patient or updating your medical information is easy since you can do it online before the day of your appointment. The front office staff are warm and welcoming! They even asked after other family members who are also patients there. Throughout my appointment I felt calm and relaxed and cared about by every person I encountered. That’s huge when considering prior to finding Elgin Dental Associates I had been traumatized by a dental experience and was terrified of that reoccurring. The dentist listened to me and explained step by step what was going to occur, including stopping if I wanted to. I have been a patient here for almost six years now and I have never encountered a more caring, dedicated, and professional team as Elgin Dental Associates! If you need to go to the dentist, there is no better place. You’ll be in good hands!
