If it was an option I would give 3.5 stars... only going with 4 stars instead of 3 because of good staff.Pros: staff was pleasant, breakfast was well presented, onsite bar with free drink, the one bedroom suite is a decent size, plenty of parking and everything is nearby.Cons: if youre not on the top floor you will lose your mind with inconsiderate people above you. We were initially in a studio, and asked to move to a one bedroom because it was too small. The worst part is there were 7 people in the studio room above us being ridiculously loud, and staff allowed it even though the max people allowed per room was clearly surpassed. Once we moved to the one bedroom suite it was better, but sometimes loud people would move in and it was stressful to have loud noises in the middle of the night. Additionally, the room keys would stop working every 2-3 days ( we stayed here for 3-4 weeks ) so we constantly had to go to the front desk to get the keys fixed.
I was staying there for my wedding last week and Sarah was so nice and helpful to get rooms for all of my out of town guests. The rooms were so nice and clean, I had the king loft suite and the kitchen and table was so nice to have. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to your room every morning (must be ordered the night before) which was so nice not having to go get dressed and walk to the lobby. The fire pit was definitely used as the nights got a little cold. We also did our first look photos by the gazebo. 😍
Absolutely 100% the best hotel Ive ever stayed at. Our suite was clean and quiet. The balcony was a nice touch. It had a full kitchen with dishwasher and all the dishes and utensils you would need to cook a meal. We also had a fireplace in the front room. Had the best breakfast Ive ever had in a hotel. I highly recommend if youre in this area you stay here. You definitely wont regret it.
The king suite rooms are clean with enough stuff in the kitchen to get by for an extended stay. The beds are some of the most comfortable Ive had at a hotel. The breakfast delivered to your room during covid has been great and the new on site bar is a great spot to hang out and meet other guests. Every staff member has been helpful and super nice.
Hands down this is one of the nicest hotels Ive ever been in. Pay the few extra bucks and get a REAL suite. When they say you have a suite, they actually mean it. From having our own balcony to a fireplace, this hotel was private and amazing. Clean and roomy.Great breakfast served to your door. We will be back!
Rooms were not ready when we arrived a few minutes after 3. We booked months in advance. We had Little ones that needed feed and change of clothes, We were told it would be a hour or so before it was ready. We had a Appointment at 4 in Hudson, Illinois. We were late because of not having ample time to feed and get babies ready. The Suite needs Updated. Suite was small for the Price Charged. Could not Figure out how to watch Television. Carpet was very Stained and Dirty looking. The Breakfast had to be ordered before a certain time on our phones. It was delivered on Time and was good. We were there for a few days. Needed more garbage cans, and needed maid service to get garbage daily that was not done. Was very dissatisfied with this Hotel!
This hotel was really beautiful inside and out. They have a bar and grill attached that serves really good drinks. I would recommend if youre looking for somewhere with a beautiful scenery on the grounds of the actual Hotel. The room was clean, everything worked properly and the staff were really professional.
My husband and I had our wedding at Eastland three weeks ago, and we absolutely loved it! Jolene was super accommodating and flexible with all my questions and concerns with having a wedding during COVID. We were able to still have immediate friends and family, have the outdoor ceremony we wanted as well as an amazing reception at the conference center. The food is sooo good and the rooms are clean and well priced. If you are looking into staying or having a function here, you’ll definitely leave happy.
A little bumpy start checking in, was sent to an already occupied room but it was quickly corrected. Overall a good stay. The room was fairly priced and honestly felt more like an apartment than hotel room. I was able to book same day as my stay which is a plus and best of all they had rooms to accommodate my fur baby. They had a covid friendly check in process and breakfast was delivered to the door. I will stay again when in the area.
Had high hope for this place but failed hard. Expedia says it has a pool, check in, pool has been filled in for years. But you can go down to another hotel and swim. Get to room it feels like old apartments or condos converted to a hotel. Plaster cracks everywhere poorly repaired. Had a strange smell in the hall of deodorizing spray and curry. Not impressed will not go back.
We did hours of review researching to find a place to stay during COVID19 that would provide us the confidence we could stay somewhere as safely as possible. Wasteland Suites was a fantastic find: cost effective, provided confident modifications to stay to make you feel safe: 48 hours offline rooms before occupying, curbside and text check out, and signage to support social distancing in public spaces. A great balance of safety and comfort. Breakfast was delivered as takeout room service and was also tasty! Coupons were provided for happy hour take out or outdoor seating at the bar- free drink for adults in room or soda. Location is near all great restaurant choices in town. Also accommodated dogs well, and customer service was top notch. Alexis was accommodating and very helpful! Thank you for a comfortable stay!
My experience at Eastland Suites was both therapeutic and comforting. For my birthday I rented out the 2 story suite and it was perfect. I had plenty of space and time just to relax and clear my head. The staff is respectful and accommodating. Also, I met some nice residents at Eastlands hotel bar. Overall, it was good vibes, good people, and a nice get away.
Excellent stay. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We had the 1 bedroom with a fireplace and kitchenette. Im overly impressed with their customer service. We had a kitchenette that was fully stocked. However, there is a small oven but no cookie sheet, cake pan or pizza pan. I called the front desk and they ran to the store and purchased those for me and brought them to my room. How could you ask for more?
Nice hotel. More like small apartments. The only things I didnt like were 1. They said they had an indoor pool, but in reality they transport you to another hotel to use their indoor pool. There is actually no indoor pool on site. 2. They gave passes for 2 free drinks at the bar, which is awesome, but the bar closes at 7pm. The kids arent sleep by 7 pm. Other than those two things, it was a great experience.
Usually before staying at a place, I do my homework and check all the reviews first, but didnt have time this time, but very happy to say we were pleasantly surprised and greatly satisfied with our weekend stay here! The suites were very clean and spacious. We had a balcony, separate living room with fireplace, and tvs in both bed and living rooms which was nice! The location was great because there was access to just about everything one would need. Highly recommended.
Nice place. Cozy tiny room, but fine for one night. The air unit was extremely loud but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked the green tea amenities. Breakfast was just so-so. The courtyard area was really pretty! Employees were all very friendly.
Our room was a full 1 bdrm (double sized spring coiled mattress) w/1 bath, small kitchen including stove/sink/fridge/dishwasher (cutlery&other essentials provided) and adjoining living room (w/gas fireplace) and small balcony. Not the most updated facilities and not very sound proof. Alot of the furniture showed age. AC and heat. They do offer complimentary breakfast and 1 evening drink per guest. Our dogs were on edge our entire stay because we could hear the other guests and employees. They did enjoy the patio and large field located conveniently.Overall not a bad stay especially for the price per night and their helpful staff.
We really liked the set up of the buildings, very cool. The fire pit & free drink was Nice! The outside seating/patios were really nice, but always full with large groups. The $3 bottle water is not a plus, but oh well. Nice beds/pillows and quiet dark rooms at night!
I very much enjoyed my stay. I wish there was more you could do there and the food available on site was cheaper or more easily accessible. But its in a great spot to eat out and the rooms are pretty great, you have the ability to cook every meal as well. Great place overall.
This place is well worth it for your stay!We stayed for 2 months at this extended stay and they made us feel like we were already home.1 plus is that you can bring your pets. What a lifesaver! They have a firepit, two areas for cooking outside, a pergola seating area, a huge grass area to walk your pets. Not to mention the 24/he laundry room for guests!I also have to say they have a 24 hr coffee machine area that comes with creamer, foldgers coffee, sugar of different kinds, and different Tea as well. They have a snack area. And a NEW BAR! I loved all the amenities that Eastland Suites had to offer. What made it even more special were everyone up at the front desk especially Gage and Keaton. They were awesome and told us about the area and what to do around town. Savannah kept myself and our dog company while our room was getting clean. We would sit in the lobby and Savannah brought our dog August a treat. There is also a computer that you can use at anytime. I used it for work on most days because my computer was in storage.Anyways, check out Eastland Suites. It should be your first stop when youre ready for a break!
We stayed here last summer and the place was just perfect for my family of 5. Plenty of room in the 2 bedroom loft. I really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, allowing us to save money by eating in and not out. The pool was a bit small for my liking, but the kids enjoyed it. The outdoor area was simply breathtaking and would be a great place to host a wedding. I look forward to staying again when we come down for college visits with my son.
Nice drive there and back home from North West Indiana. Rooms where clean and well stocked. The staff on duty where well dressed and very helpful. The hot breakfast that came with room was good they had 24 ever guess was clean and kept up with. The business event was a nice room well cleaned the restrooms were nice and maintenance the meal provided at lunch time during the business event was very filling taste good look good staff was again very helpful very well-dressed. I 100% would go back for business or personal enjoyment.
Went to inquire about booking our wedding reception here because it looked so promising on the website. The director of sales would take about 3 to 5 days to respond to any of our emails and repeatedly mis-interpreted dates and times and made the whole process cumbersome and time sonsuming.Hotel may be nice but, they need to clean up their act when it comes to customer service for that.Dont normally leave reviews on Google but this place really rubbed me and my fiance the wrong way...Dont use them for their banquet services!
This is my second time in this hotel, and again everything was perfect. I attended a training session on the Conference Room and both spaces, the room, and the conference area got my approval. This hotel is divided into separated sections or buildings, some of them far from the lobby. It has a nice pool and a breakfast area with two floors. They offer a continental breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, fruits, yogurts, and some other food.Among the buildings, it has a nice area for a barbecue and a fireplace that its turning on during the evening and night. The areas around the hotel are plenty of restaurants and stores, so it is very convenient. My opinion is that it is a good hotel for business travelers and for families who need to spend some days in Bloomington, IL without expending a lot of money on accommodation.
We had a few problems. Found hard candy on yhe floor of our room, two large screws were standing up in the window sill upstairs. We had a toddler with us so these presented a danger. They did provide us a discount due to these things. The rain gutter over our door was full of leaves so the rain and melting snow was dripping on us, brought to front desk twice but it never did get cleaned. The bathtubs are very small and you may have to duck to take a shower.Breakfast is a nice option but the eggs were not very good.
Party place for the local low-lifes. Getting out of my car at 6pm, a beer can came flying over the building and rolled across the parking lot. Inside the rooms were clean but very small and the beds even smaller. By 9pm the parties were in full swing, inside and outside of the building. It took 3 calls to the front desk before anyone picked up and I was told they did not want to inconvenience me by moving me to a new room. I packed my things and went to the front desk to check-out and found another family there complaining about the parties too and that their teen-age children were exposed to inappropriate behaviors. We were given new rooms on the other side of the complex, but not after the desk clerk thought about charging us for the upgrade. These rooms were nice and quiet. I will not stay here again. I travel alone on business and need to feel safe, and with that type of activity and the number of unrelated parties breaking out across the building, I did not feel personally safe and was concerned about the security of my vehicle. I gave 1 star because I could not give less.I appreciate the management reaching out to me to extend their apologies and to assure me that the experience I had was an exception.
What a lovely little hotel in the middle of central Illinois! I only stopped by for a night to rest while passing through but I truly appreciated the serene, spacious room and the unbelievably comfortable bed. The free full breakfast wasnt super fancy but it was *more* than sufficient for the price! There was a full kitchen in my suite (table & chairs, full sized fridge, dishwasher, and dinnerware) - not high end but also not out of date - that I would have definitely used if Id been staying longer. If I find myself needing to stay in Bloomington again, Ill most definitely be returning to Eastland Suites.
My husband and I stayed here one night on our drive home to WI from Key West. I was looking for a small quite place to stay and I found the perfect place. Staff is friendly and accommodating. King suite was great. full kitchen and separate bedroom and bath nice living space. Walked out our private entrance to pack up the car. Didnt have time for breakfast before nine so ate at Dennys right down the street. Do yourself a huge favor and do not pass up the opportunity to relax and get a good nights sleep. Had a nice dinner at Jims steak house five minutes away. (live piano music as well)
We had a party for my mom. Upon arrival the venue was clean, the attendees made sure we had everything we needed. They were pleasant and made themself known and available to us immediately. At the end of the party, we werent rushed out of the building. We were able to clean up and put the room back in the order it was in when we arrived. I would have a party here. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Supply and demand in full play this weekend at Eastland Suites. As the supply went down, the price went up. We stay annually at the suites, but this year, pricing and availability led us to have a not so stellar stay. Their rooms are updated a bit this year, but still lack upgraded technology. Please add some USB ports, LED lighting, etc. And my annual complaint of tiny coffee maker goes on deaf ears. Anyway, the breakfast is top notch, the staff is 5 star, and the location cant be beat.
Clean, Staff was nice, only reason why I didnt get 5-star no place to eat within that building but there was places to eat around. Also the photo with the bed not fully made is not there this is after I was leaving. Is when I took the photos. Also the pool was nice a warm, then thou it was about 15 outside
It is a nice hotel for a really good price. The breakfast was good, and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The rooms came with a complete kitchen, so was nice to be able to cook and not have to eat out for every meal. The only downside was having to walk outside to get to the pool in winter. But overall it was good.
We overnighted in one of the beautiful suites with a king bed, kitchen and a fireplace. We noticed a fairly regular (annoying) sound that seemed like a dishwasher running constantly, even during the night. My husband thought it was a faulty water heater. We reported it and I feel confident that it will be taken care of. We also use their meeting space and it works very well for our groups. Front desk staff as well as sales and banquet staff are very accommodating.
They have raised their prices this year without adding any additional value. Paper thin towels, low quality beds and bedding, and cheap toiletries while charging a 4 star hotel price. We have stayed here for years during our travel to visit family in the area, but the sky rocketed rates will have us looking elsewhere in the future.
We stayed at Eastland Suites in a double king loft suite for my daughters birthday party. Everything was perfect. It started when I called the hotel to make the reservation, Michelle the young women that helped me with the reservation was friendly and very happy to help ensure Eastland Suites was the perfect place for my daughters party. Upon check in I was greeted by Mike he was very helpful. We had a great time in the nicely decorated room and enjoyed the clean pool and fantastic breakfast the next morning. We will definitely return.
We stayed here as party of a wedding block. The room was nice and the free breakfast had a good selection and pretty similar to other hotels. I did like that the soaps and lotions were Bath and Body Works products. My only negative was the layout of the hotel. Its made up if separate buildings almost like an apartment complex. If it was raining out, then going to breakfast at the main building wouldve been a pain. A positive is that they worked with the bride and groom and set up shuttle service to the wedding/reception location so no one had to drink and drive. Otherwise it was a nice place for the night.
I attended a wedding in the courtyard. I had no idea where the wedding was when I arrived. There should have been signs. It was a super hot day and the only shade was a sun sail mounted over the chairs....directly over them. At 4pm, that meant about 1/3 of the chairs were in the shade. There was no microphone for the ceremony and the music could had transitioning/fading instead of just turning it off each time. The reception room was pretty, but small. Smthe sound system and mics must not have been set up completely in advance. As they were getting ready, they blasted some awful white noise in the speaker several times. My ears were burning afterwards from the pain and we were probably only 30 ft from the speakers at a table when it happened. Serving staff were very nice. Cake was cut and out on a table, but they ran out quickly and didnt add more for awhile. That was kind of disappointing since eating the cake is part of the fun at the wedding. Part of our table didnt get cake and had to wait for more to be brought out. Overall, it could be a pleasant experience, but there were some really annoying parts that should be more thought out on behalf of the staff and facility. If I were getting married, I personally would not choose this location based on the experience that I had. I did not stay overnight and cannot comment on that part of the business.
The hotel called me the night before my reservation to tell me that my room was no longer available. I made the reservation 5 months in advance. They offered a discounted rate on another room which wasnt really a discount because it was the same price if I had reserved it instead of reserving the room that I actually did. They waited until the last minutes so I would have to take thier room instead of finding another hotel. Very poor customer service. I will never stay with this place again and also advise my family in the area that works with a lot of the major businesses not to use this hotel.
Was a nice hotel but experience was not that great. Hallway smelled of pot. And Im assuming was housekeeping staff early in the morning being loud. However the front desk staff was helpful. Not sure why they send a follow-up survey if they arent going to do anything about it.
Met there for a business meeting. The lobby facility was nice and the staff is very friendly. The staff was very accommodating and was able to help us with problems that came up. The rooms are very nice and clean and the location of the hotel is very convenient. I will definitely visit this hotel again.
I adore coming here. Been here for weddings and birthday parties, never dissapointed. The staff is super helpful too, my phone died and I couldnt use my gps so they drew me a nice map to help me find my friends birthday party. Im very thankful for the two young gentlemen who helped me that night. Thank you a ton!
Has 9 buildings with about 4 floors each. Each room has a balcony, fireplace, dishwasher, stove, fridge. There is a nice little central area with a gazebo and a classy rock for epic. There is also a grill for each building. Was an awesome experience! Will definitely go again
This is a nice hotel to stay in. All the rooms are suites and nicely setup. The king suite we stayed in was very nice, but we could have gotten pretty much the same thing from other hotels in the area for 30 a night cheaper. I was disappointed to find out that the King suite does not come with a whirlpool tub, they only have one room with that. The indoor heated pool is not heated at all. There is no hot tub. The one bright and shining thing about this hotel is the breakfast. They served biscuits and gravy, bacon, English muffin, toast, yogurt, and of course the normal cereals. They do weddings at this place so I would check when booking to make sure there isnt one, if you want to get to sleep before 2 in the morning. Overall this is a good hotel, but the King suites are not worth the money when you can get the same thing from hotels in the area for less money.
This place has an issue with discrimination!!!!! I walked in to book a room and the lady pretended to look in the computer and flat out told me No there are no rooms available. So I literally was in the parking lot and got online and booked the same room that they told me was not available. I sent my friend in to book a room and she had absolutely No problem booking the same room I had just walked in to book. Probably because she was white and I was black they clearly had a issue probably just assumed that I was going to have some wild party or something. Discrimination for sure and I end up staying at the hotel anyway just to show that I was be treated unfairly and I want to go to the front desk and check out in the am and see there faces when it was me and not my white friend that stayed in there room Dumb ass people I swear. And trust I will be going to great lengths to make sure I am heard about this situation. It’s damn shame people still get treated like this in 2018 I work just as hard as the next person for my money but because I was black my money was No good for them???? WOW
I stayed in a king suite. The bedroom was a separate room from the rest of the apartment, I mean, hotel room. In the bedroom was the king-sized bed with about 7 pillows, a full-sized mirror, safe, flat-screen tv, dresser, floor lamp, two end tables, two table lamps, and a digital clock. There was a kitchenette with a full-size fridge, utensils, dishwasher, sink, pots and pans, small circular table that 2 people would eat at. In the living room area there was a sleeper sofa, coffee table, fireplace, desk, and flat-screened tv. If you wanted a bottle of water, it was $3, but there was free water in the lobby. The bathroom had the usual toilet and shower/tub combo. The room was in a separate building from the lobby which had the pool, workout room, breakfast area, and happy hour area. It was warm out so the short walk was fine. The pool was an okay size for swimming laps. It was shaped like a bowl but since I was the only one in the pool, it was no bother. The workout room consisted of 1 treadmill, 1 bike, free weights, exercise ball, and a flat screen tv. When I went to workout, I had the room to myself, so it was fine. In the morning was the hot breakfast. No one complained about the breakfast. For Happy Hour, there was music playing and outdoor seating. The first drink was free with the coupon given at check-in.
My group and I recently hosted our 4th annual LAN party and board game convention at Eastland Suites Bloomington. We rented out the entire conference center and had food/drink provided by Eastland for three days/nights. Everything was fantastic. The staff was super helpful and accomodating before, during and after the event. We got everything we needed (and more); the food was great, the bar service and selection was great. They went above and beyond what we had received from other venues in the past. We will absolutely be looking at this place to return to in the future (which is unusual, since we normally change venues every year).
Everything was great minus the check in. After a long trip I arrived later than planned (about 9pm) and got my room keys, unloaded my car (I dont travel light lol) and went in to find I had been put in a tiny single room with 2 double beds and no kitchen when I had booked a king suite with full kitchen. I called down and luckily they had one more left so I had to load all my stuff back in the car, drive over to the lobby again and then unload everything all over again once I got the new keys. Minus this annoying inconvenience (no idea why I was downgraded in the first place) it was a fine stay though
Very nice hotel! Kind of pricey. Has a t.g.i.f fridays attached to it! Has plenty of rooms to rent out for weddings and get togethers! Has a pool and has a hot tub. Serves breakfast also has a bar! The people at the desk seem friendly! The suites are some of the best in town! Definitely a place i wouldnt mind going back to stay!
Though this is a nice hotel I was very upset with my stay. The website says pet friendly so we booked a room which was a one bedroom king suite. They only have these in one building. After getting settled we received a call from the front desk stating we could not have pets in that room and we would have to move rooms to a studio which is not what we wanted!! Very disgusted that though pet friendly it doesnt mean we can have one of the best room layouts. Most likely will not be staying here again in the future. I might add my dogs are hypoallergenic due to family having allergies.
Eastland Suites is a solid hotel choice, especially for the area and the price point. I spent the evening in one of the basic king suites; it contains a complete kitchen, including a microwave, stove and oven, full size fridge, and even contains cabinet space and cooking utensils. No complaints about the maintenance - not everything is brand new but its all well-maintained.Front desk staff was friendly, the property itself contains niceties like a firepit, small sitting areas, and is itself well-enough designed and bordered off to help you forget that theres city literally 10 yards away. You really cant find a better spot for the price in Bloomington.
We did a package deal which included a gift card to Epiphany Farms, champagne, and transportation. This made for a perfect one night get away where we could just relax. They also have a nice little happy hour for their guests that we enjoyed before leaving for dinner.
Travelocity suggested this boutique hotel because it was the closest type of hotel to a Drury Inn, that was in the area. They advertise that they have a pool. They do not have a pool. They offered us to go to their sister hotel the Double Tree that was 2 miles away to use their pool. What a joke! They give you one free drink per adult instead of three like Drury Inn. They ran out of bacon Sunday for breakfast. The individual room temperature control was a window AC unit. You thought the waters were complimentary in your hotel room? They were $3. EACH. It looks like tenant housing projects. Gross!
My visit here was for a company seminar. The room was very beautiful and spacious even though I didnt get to stay in it for too long since our seminar was 2 days long. Good internet and direct tv.The breakfast was cramped, no room to really sit. It was also in the lobby which is in an entirely different building from where I was staying. Its about two blocks away and sadly its winter so it was cold to walk. It was also where the pool was, I didnt get to swim since I was too tired. Also I wasnt informed that if I kept my key card near my phone (which I have a wallet phone case) it demagnetizes the key card. The first night of staying it stopped working and I couldnt get into my room. Thankfully my boyfriend had his to get us in at 9:30pm. I called the front desk and they said I could get it switched. The second night it happened again! But this time my boyfriend wasnt around and I had to walk to the lobby two blocks away at 9:15pm to get it switched. This was when they told me about it getting magnetized.Overall a decent experience. But its definitely not my first choice.
I was here for a day long conference and did not spend the night. The conference accommodation was clean and bright and accessible to all. The staff worked hard and the breakfast, lunch, and break time snacks were good. I would attend a conference at this location again! Thanks!
We will never stay with this hotel ever again. Our room was advanced purchased and when we arrived at the hotel they had our reservations all messed up and not even under the right name. Our room smelled like sewage the dishes in our room still had food on them and there was moldy food in the fridge. I didnt even want to sleep in the bed knowing that they didnt even take the time to check the fridge. this was a very bad experience at the hotel and I am not going to repeat it ever again.
For starters we wanted a upstairs room with a fireplace like it was on the website when we got here they had to find us a room... Im assuming someone else got our room. Now currently in a down stairs room with a broken fire place. The only reason we decided to spend Valentines day here was for the balcony and fire place but looks like we got neither!
We all know those mimics such as Its just like staying at home! Without a doubt when I travel for business my budget is what allowed and not much more. However and from personal experience this is a downsized model of my home. Very well appreciated and perfect for business fun a romantic night or a Staycation to just get away for a day. The staff is great. Why go anywhere else when your budget allows for kind employees good rates and quite possibly better than home.

2022-02-19This is our second time staying here. We frequently travel from AZ to MI and back. This is our FAVORITE place to stay. The amenities are great. We got snowed in here (dont laugh, were from AZ) recently and the full kitchen saved us. The front desk even offered to cook us a pizza because everything had closed. A free beer or glass of wine per day of stay at the attached bar is unheard of. Olivia? tending bar was very nice and efficient. SUPER CLEAN. Whoever takes care of this place cares, and it shows. I dont even require a pool or hot tub, the rooms are so homey. Also, hands down the GOAT of continental breakfasts. Electric fireplace in the rooms gives nice ambiance.... I could go on and on.Thank you for your hospitality.

2022-07-19We had a very nice experience here. Our room was welcoming and clean. We loves the outdoor amenities and we use the grill before heading out to make us some lunch. Very nice bar and we each received a free drink with our reservation. The next time we are in Bloomington we plan to stay here again.

2022-07-15Its great with all your needs. Housekeeping is once a week. So, it can get a Lil messy and floors sticky. Been there twice. The first time, Housekeeping is great. The second time, it sucks. (And it was a guy) Overall great experience.

2022-05-11Room smelled like stale smoke and mildew. The carpet surrounding the bed was soaking wet. As I walked around the room, I noticed my socks becoming wet. When I touched the floor, I figured out why. Forget about watching TV from your bed when staying here as the TV is the whole way across the room. The room was in dire need of updating. I was disgusted from the minute I entered the room. Im not sure how this hotel has so many positive reviews. Definitely not worth the price.

2022-03-19This is going to be a very honest review. I booked the hotel based on how many great reviews I saw. Everyone is raving about how nice of a hotel it is. Maybe I had a one off experience? What I learned from the regulars is building number 9 is the worst one. Most of staff were great and very accommodating. The cleaning crew were very nice and did a good job but there’s only so much they could do. They only come once a week to clean. The bar tenders are great and probably the best part of the hotel. The room I stayed in at building number 9 wasn’t so great. There was a hole in the ceiling and the walls were paper thin. I could hear everything that went on above and below me. It sounded like someone was stomping around all night. The stench of cigarette smoke and god knows what else ended up getting me sick. The final straw for me was waking up to a big spider in my bed which I had to kill and finding another big one crawling around on the floor. This would explain the bites I found on my body. As for the bed it’s pretty comfortable but they do not provide a cover for the comforter. They place a sheet below and above the comforter and call this a duvet cover. This grossed me out because who knows if they clean the comforter.I hate writing bad reviews because I do not want to hurt the staff but there’s only so much I can take and cleanliness is very important to me especially when I’m staying for multiple weeks on a work trip. This isn’t the staffs fault it’s the owner. Building 9 needs to be updated. I assume all the other buildings are much nicer or else all these great reviews would be fake. Also none of the smoke detectors work.I would not stay here again unless it was in the most updated building they had and I would still be cautious.Do not stay in building 9 and make sure you tip the bartenders because they’re the best part of the hotel.

2022-04-22Ive rented rooms for years here, in town. Never had any issue with staff but some upgrades and renovations would be nice. Overall, Id say great place to stay but watch out for local high school kids......

2022-07-21The double king suites are unique. They are great for large parties. The courtyard is very relaxing too. I was about to grill burgers and brats for dinner one night.

2022-05-25Positive: We only stayed one night, but it was really quiet, clean, comfortable. It did not feel like a hotel. I have traveled a lot due to work and family being in different states and this was the nicest experience yet. Negative: For a 1 night stay and leaving before breakfast I found nothing not to like. It was clean.

2022-07-12This hotel is a hidden gem. The studio room we had was perfectly comfortable and the cocktail in the evening and breakfast in the morning were the cherries on top of a wonderful stay.
