Ive been seeing Dr. Dy for 10+ years, so it was only natural that I would follow her to her new office. And Im glad I did. The decor and overall feel is bright, warm and welcoming. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, so no matter who is working, youll have a great experience. Dr. Dy has my complete trust in her diagnosis and treatments, and she has never steered me wrong. If youre looking for a a dermatologist who can make you comfortable and give you all the pertinent information without beating around the bush, Dr. Dy is the one for you.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dy’s since she first opened her practice last year. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with her and her amazing staff . I always look forward to all of my visits and knowing I will look my best. Her staff is very attentive to all of their clients. Lisa is very professional and understanding. If you are looking for a great Dermatologist with an artistic (& good) eye, she’s the one for you!!
Dr. Dy may be a decent professional, however, she should seriously reconsider the unprofessional, condescending and Rude women she has working for her in her office. They are simply rude and just plain unprofessional. Their attitude is such that they have complete disregard for customers/patients on the phone and this turns the potential and current patients away from this office seeking a better professional office that gives the people the proper consideration they deserve in a doctors office. It seems that everyone from the assistant girl whos job is to simply answer the phone up to the women (possible nurses, or whatever their degree may be), appears to lack complete professionalism.Never experienced such rude behavior. Dr Dy should really reconsider these women and hire better workers in the office so that she doesnt keep losing business.. A customer is not going to be comfortable coming to an office with a bunch of rude, insensitive, ignorant women who we have to tolerate. They need to learn to speak to patients properly and act more educated and less condescending!!!!
Dy Dermatology Center is an outstanding and beautiful facility filled with dedicated and courteous staff committed to you and your experience as a patient. Dr. Lady Dy has been my Dermatologist for the last few years, and feel genuinely blessed to have found such a remarkable physician. She is brilliant, dedicated, caring, personable and truly outstanding regarding her knowledge of Dermatology. I had unfortunate scarring, and had little to no luck with many Dermatologists seen over the years. Luckily, I was referred to Dr. Lady Dy, where she faded and diminished many, if not all problem areas. I underwent Laser-resurfacing and Micro-needling, and am astounded to have seen such major improvement. She thoroughly and carefully explains each procedure and follows up immediately to inquire about the healing process. My experience with Dr. Dy has been overwhelmingly positive and would recommend her services and support to anyone looking for a compassionate, experienced, and knowledgeable Dermatologist.-Becky
“Dr. Dy” is not the person you’ve been hearing about. She barely talked to me for a minute. Disregarded my problems. Tried to downplay my concerns and make me feel stupid for asking her questions. She was also pushy and rude. She’s clearly only concern about how much money she can earn in one day and doesn’t care about her patients at all. Go to a doctor who actually cares about helping people. Because this one does not.
Dr Dy changed my life. I lost over 1/2 of my hair because of illness and inflammation. She put me on special shampoos and medication and my hair is growing back it’s so full. No more self esteem issues and No more wigs for me. I would recommend Dr Dy to anyone with any dermatology issues. She’s very advanced and professional. She is very caring and so is her staff. My rheumatologist recommends her to all of his patients as well!! She’s the best. Thank you Dr Dy!!!!
My entire family goes to Dr Dy. She is wonderful, warm and incredibly smart. I use her for dermal fillers ( she’s an artist) and my husband and son get mole mapping. We love her so much that we followed her from Oak Park to her new practice in glenview- she is worth the drive.I am amazed that there are bad reviews on her staff. They are always so friendly and informative and gracious.

I was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (AD) when I was about six years, and as I aged, I was told eventually, I would grow out of it. Well, unfortunately for me, my AD never went away until I met with Dr. Dy. I am amazed that my arms, legs, torso, and back and now clear without any evidence of having AD. Living with AD can indeed have negative social impacts, and its something that I will need to monitor continuously, but I wouldnt have gotten to a state of my normal baseline until I worked with Dr. Dy. Thank you so much! I now cannot wait to show off my arms! :)
Dr. Dy treated the sun damage on my face by applying 4 chemical peels over 4 appointments. I’m thrilled with my look & would definitely recommend Dr. Dy for any cosmetic needs. She & her staff are extremely professional & courteous.
Dr Dy was AMAZING in treating my Rosacea! So if you need to get the red out, go see Lady Dy! The whole team is prompt, effective, professional and lovely.
Lisa who is office staff at Dy Dermatology is extremely rude and condescending.This reflects on Dr. Dy who is a great dermatologist. Too bad that Ill go elsewhere for treatment. It doesnt cost anything to be nice! If you could rate zero stars I would have specifically because of her staff!!!
The worst!! I went there a year ago and just felt compelled to finally write a review now. The staff was completely rude. And the appointment was literally over in 45 seconds and she pointed me to where I need to pay not even being able to ask half of the questions that I had and on top of it I was explaining some of my medical issue and she and her high school staff member that she had in the room started laughing..when I tried to ask another question she just stopped me and just said see me again in a week. In and out of the facility in 5 min. All they care about is money there not giving any kind of quality care. Later I went to Jill Anderson in Evanston. I would 100% recommend Dr Anderson over Dr Dy’s clinic any day of the week.
I came to the office because I have been very concerned about dramatic hair loss over the last few months. After talking to me for 2 minutes without really engaging in any meaningful way Dr. LadyDy prescribed a host of costly interventions. I was overwhelmed and stupidly agreed to the $300 “vitamins” for a three month supply although Dr. LadyDy, also offered other costly interventions that she was comfortable with beginning at the same time as the “vitamins” before even seeing if these would work.I was overwhelmed by the speed of her “diagnosis” based on a 2 minute conversation and left with the sense that Dr. LadyDy s business is a money making racket. I will not be returning.
Appreciated Dr. Dy’s expertise and guidance but my most positive experience was with her assistant Meghan who had one of the best bedside manners ive ever encountered.

Dr. Dy is a doctor who will only do a procedure that she would have done her own skin. I highly recommend because she truly cares about her patients.
I had a very similar experience to another reviewer below. I have been noticing hair loss and tried explaining all my concerns and observations, but I could barely get a word out before Dr. Dy went straight to prescribing me expensive medication. I will no longer be returning.
Dr. Dy diagnosed me with eczema without a skin biopsy and then proceeded to give me medication. At first she gave me an oral antibiotic and topical steroids, but when I called her to tell her the medication wasnt working and I was getting severe recurrences of the eczema, she kept prescribing me antibiotics after antibiotics. When I told her the antibiotics werent working, she said I was antibiotic resistant, but then kept prescribing me more antibiotics. After all those antibiotics, my skin condition became exacerbated, and after seeing her for more than half a year, she then referred me to a different dermatologist because she didnt know what else to do. She then gave me a systemic steroid as her last prescription to me, and then not only did my skin get even worse, but my entire immune system also started to fail. She literally told me that she didnt know how to help me after more than half a year (and took my money for treatment that worsened my health in that time) instead of telling me straightforwardly and caring for my health with another specialists expertise. Dont go to her. Id recommend Sarah Kasprowicz for eczema related issues
Dr. Dy is THE BEST!!! I waited to see her bc I thought she would be too expensive & I wish I hadn’t! Every visit so far has been covered by insurance! I was worried it would be considered “cosmetic” and get denied, but it didn’t!! I’ve only had small copays thus far! My hair is so much thicker & more voluminous! Iused to cry about my hair thinning! I tried any remedy I read about online. Nothing worked until I met Dr. Dy!! Just taking one prescribed medication & vitamins, my hair has tripled in density! I am so happy & I wish I had done this sooner! You don’t have to accept hair loss! I tell everyone! The sooner you get started the better your outcome will be! Call her NOW for an appointment ASAP!
I’ve been going to Dr. Dy for about 5 years now and she is GREAT. She does amazing work and is a stellar dermatologist.
Dr. Dy always offers her expert advise and her work is done tastefully. I love the fact she listens to my needs/wants and educates me on all options before we choose the best option(s).

Got botox with Lady Dy and even the pesky 11s are gone! The office is clean, beautiful and well-run. Dr. Dy listened to my skin concerns and did a thorough job. I hate needles but didnt even feel a pinch. Im nearly 50 and you wouldnt know it. My forehead is super tight and wrinkle-free now!
The manager is a horrible lady. she dont know how to talk to people, she was so rude but the doctor was very nice, i wish i could meet her again but because of that stupid manager i am never going back. Dont want to see her face again.

Very nice place and everyone seemed to really enjoy there job here. I especially liked Tori she was very professional, friendly and helpful answered all my questions.
The office manager that works here is extremely extremely rude and unprofessional. She called me argumentative and disrespectful because I was dissatisfied with my service. I will never come back here again. Also, not sure why she’s responding to some people and not other people on here.

2021-12-13Dr. Dy has been a God send. I have had alopecia for 28 yrs and have seen many Dr.s in that time. Dr. Dy has blown them away in both knowledge and professionalism. She always takes her time to answer all my questions and concerns and has gone above and beyond in battling with the insurance companies to get me the medicine I need. For the first time in 25 yrs or so I finally have my hair and beard and It just goes to show that I never even realized how much the loss of it truly affected me until I felt the freedom when I got it back. I would highly recommend her for any of her services as Im sure you would have the same experience!

2021-10-05Experience with Dr. Dy was one of the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. I came to Dr. Dy with concerns of hair loss, an area she claims to specialize in. Upon our first appointment Dr. Dy didnt even look at my scalp and immediately suggested an expensive and invasive scalp biopsy. I agreed as I was under the impression she was an expert and I was desperate to understand what was going on with my health. When my results came back Dr. Dy informed me I may have lupus and then promptly walked out of the room to take a phone call. It was the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life. I was incredibly concerned and clearly distraught and she just walked out of the room for at least 5 minutes. When she returned all she told me was to get blood work done and answered absolutely zero questions about what a diagnosis of lupus would mean for my life. Cut to- I got blood work done and do not have lupus, I went to see another hair loss specialist who was completely flabbergasted as to why Dr. Dy would even suggest a scalp biopsy for me. When I submitted all medical paper work to get the slides of my biopsy submitted to the new doctor, the office did not send them. I can not warn against this office enough. Do not go here, you are treated like a cash cow.

2022-04-30My friend who has a specific form of sudden, devastating alopecia just visited this practice. My friend walked out in tears over this lady Drs bedside manner!!!! The Dr told my friend my friend will lose her eyelashes and eyebrows then as the Dr walked out she said talk to my assistant. Cold, heartless, brutal.

2021-07-01I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Dy and her practice. I got so lucky with them as I’m new to the area and wasn’t sure where to go for help with my painful keloid scar. Dr. Dy’s approach was totally realistic and transparent, and the course of treatment ended up being even shorter than we had planned due to the treatments working so effectively for what I needed. The entire staff is personable - they were so friendly and remembered me even after my first visit and with visits being weeks apart. I can’t thank the team enough!!

2021-05-18I have been a patient of Dr. Dy for at least 15 years starting when she was in the Dermatology Group at Rush Hospital and following her when she opened her own practice (Dy Dermatology Center). Dr. Dy is absolutely the BEST and I have recommended her to several friends and family members. She offers many specialized services in addition to general dermatology and I have used a number of those specialized treatments, including Ultherapy, Laser hair restoration and monthly Hydrafacials. I have been and continue to be extremely pleased with all of her specialty treatments. The office staff are friendly and professional and always make you feel welcome. 2018-02-15I love Dr. Dy, she has helped my skin look incredible since I have been seeing her for a little over a year- I have had the halo laser and fillers to fill in the depressions left from acne scarring. My skin has never looked better and have received many compliments. I continue to see her for maintenance and she is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and takes the time to address your concerns. Her staff, especially Lisa is very friendly as well and has helped me select some wonderful products to continue my at home regime. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

2021-05-28I would like to update my review. I have been seeing Dr. Dy since she opened her office in Glenview and recently saw her May 2021. I completely trust Dr. Dy. I recently had a non-cosmetic issue with a mole and she was incredibly attentive, immediately removed it and put me at ease. She is very knowledgable and has excellent bedside manners. I continue to highly recommend her for any dermatology procedure you may find you need.Dr. Dy is professional, knowledgeable and artistic. She does not try to push treatments or procedures. She listens to what you want and works with what you are comfortable with. Another huge benefit is that Dr. Dy does the treatment procedures. She is a trained skilled doctor and does not rely on staff with minimal training to do the treatments. I highly recommend her.
