We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Neel and his wonderful staff at Dunkin Veterinary Hospital with our eight year old Beagle, Chipotle.We dropped Chipotle off for boarding at Dunkin for a few weeks for weight loss and management, and he lost a considerable amount of weight. He was also inspected for other conditions and was given a holistic assessment of tests, x-rays, specialist evaluations, blood work and many other procedures to ensure that he was healthy for his age and maintained the best quality of health that he could.This was the first time that Chipotle has spent such a considerable amount of time away from home or from us, but Dr. Neel and his team ensured that we had the confidence that he was doing well and taken great care of! The staff would FaceTime consistently and we were able to speak directly with Dr. Neel after his assessments and regarding next steps, as well as him being accessible whenever we had any questions or concerns.His staff was very professional, courteous and went above and beyond whenever we encountered them and when they would assess or take Chipotle or walks. His staff, Sangeeta and Louis gave us the comfort of leaving Chipotle for such a long period of time away from us and we appreciate Dr. Neels deep knowledge, speciality and empathy in taking care of him.We cant thank the entire team at Dunkin Veterinary Hospital for the great trust we were able to place in them with our family member in Chipotle, as well as the professionalism, empathy and great service they provided in helping him get better. Well certainly be going back and highly recommend to any one that has a pet!
I take my girl Bella here every time I have a scare and they have always eased my fears. She doesn’t love it but no dog loves the vet. I always come back way less anxious. I have called the front desk sometimes with worries about the medication they give her and they are always so helpful with answering questions
Second person calling me after taking their dog to this vet. I’ve never heard how unprofessional someone could be. If you don’t know how to handle anxious, and nervous dogs, you shouldn’t manage an office. Dogs only get aggressive when you’re not treating them as they should be treated and grabbing them as if they’re just animals.
I have been taking my dog, Abbey to Dunkin veterinary hospital for several years now and I completely recommend this place to anyone who wants the best care for their pets. Dr. Neel and his team are great! They show such love and compassion to my dog Teddy. Every time we go in the service is great. Whenever my dog is sick he is examined thoroughly. This clinic is very reliable and you can tell how passionate they are in aiding animals. Because of this clinic, whenever Teddy is sick he is always back up and running in a matter of time.
I brought my Male neutered cat to them after he had spent 10 days at a place in Chicago Ridge. The vet and his staff are very caring and patient and explain everything in detail. They really are great! Now I have a vet for my cats for hopefully a long time.
I had just adopted a new goldendoodle puppy named Louie and he was experiencing some nasty symptoms. He was puking and he was also having diarrhea. I was really worried since I was a first time dog owner and I had no idea what was wrong with him. I was even more concerned when my puppy would barely move and seemed like he did not have any energy. That’s where Dr. Neel and his team came in. I was referred from a family friend to go to his clinic and let me tell you it was the best decision that I had made. He provided efficient and quality care, both of which are never provided at any other clinics. I was checked in at the exact time of my appointment and everything went smoothly and now my puppy is up and running again all thanks to his work. I don’t understand the slander that he’s received when looking at the other reviews I see, they are probably just impatient and ignorant of the tough job that Dr. Neel and his team have. Overall, best place to go if u have a pet and are in need of quality care.
I took my puppy Benny today July 3, 2021 because he has diarrhea and I took them a sample because I wanted to know what he had. My puppy is all happy and eating and drinking water but I did not like the service. They only ran one test and the Dr. didn’t want to examine him further because he is an anxious dog. They prescribed so much medicine for his loose stool but they didn’t tell me what he had. Which I am not giving him everything because I feel is to much. I understand I signed an agreement and money comes and goes but there service was not good. Only because my dog is anxious he didn’t want to continue checking him. I searched up all the medicine they gave him and half of them he doesn’t need. They know how to convince you to buy their treatment. It was an error to signed the paper but it exaggerating. Please don’t take your dogs or cats there they will try to sell you their treatments and not tell you what your dog or cat have.

Dr. Neel and his team are a gift to the animal community. They are extremely patient, understanding and empathetic to their patients and owners alike. My precious dog Momo had a life threatening condition. We didnt know who to turn to. We are glad we ended up at their doorstep. They immediately took her in for treatment and saved her life. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for my pup. I will be bringing my other 3 pets to this location from here on out.Thank you. Dr. Neel and team. You are amazing! ❤
Recently I took my dog to get nurtured. Dr.Neel and his team did an awesome job with his surgery and also gave us proper instruction on how to care for my dog when we take him home.
I went for the first time with my dog because our usual vet closed for retirement. My dog had to get blood work done and they told us we would get the results of her test back within 24-48 hours. Before even giving us her results, My dog was prescribed medication. Medicine is great but I didn’t feel comfortable giving her antibiotics for an illness we weren’t sure about. We called and we’re not given results until 4 days later. When your dog is sick, four days is a long time. The doctor did not take care of my dog for more than 2 minutes. The vet assistant did most of the work. He was very nice and this 1 star rating isn’t towards him. Definitely will not be going back. It’s so disappointing.
I went there for treatment of my cat.my friend referred this clinic. Staff is very nice and professional. Doctor told me everything nicely and explain what was the problem. Im very happy with this clinic. Now Im Life long client of this clinic . Ill definitely recommend this clinic for your pet.

We dropped off our dog with my son at Dunkin Veterinary Clinic for boarding, weight loss and other procedures. I was nervous at first dropping him off since I never left him alone for so long, but I was comforted by Dr. Neel Upadhyaya and his staff.They allowed me to visit the first few days daily for walks and to accompany him during procedures as well, before leaving him by himself for the remainder of the time. The facility was clean, well kept, and maintained.The staff including Dr. Upadhyaya was very professional, comforting and explained the procedures/ processes very clearly prior to the procedures. He kept me updated following each procedure via phone and FaceTime as well. His staff are great as well, from the office manager who is very responsive to their dog walker and assistant.I’m certainly going to continue using Dunkin Veterinary Clinic for all of my dog’s needs and procedures in the future. I can’t say enough good things about this clinic, staff and their service!
Very grateful that Dunkin Vet was able to diagnose and treatment my pup immediately. I called ahead of time to request an emergency visit an hour before closing time and Dunkin made time to see my dog. My dog required urgent surgery and the vet was able to perform the surgery the next morning. The staff is very friendly and answered all my questions regarding my dogs prognosis and post-op care. An explanation of lab results were emailed and called a couple times to check on my dog to make are everything was ok. Thank you, Dunkin Vet!
Dunkin Vet is one of the last local vets that are not all about overcharging people in the community. They really care about animals and will always try to work with you if you can’t afford the costs for your pets care. They have bills to pay too, but understand times are tough especially in our lower income community and they just want to help us keep our pets happy and healthy.They offer a couple different payment services and have come through for us time after time. We have 2 senior dogs with serious health issues and it has been very expensive to care for them, but thanks to Dr. Neel & Sangita we’ve been able to save our precious fur babies and keep them comfortable and happy. Everyone on their team is wonderful and so compassionate!If you are looking for a local vet that REALLY cares about you and your pets and is not part of some corporation that will nickel and dime you to death. You definitely won’t get this level of personal care for your pets at those big fancy corporate vets. Give Dunkin Veterinary a try, you and your pets will be so glad you did!Edit: To all the people who feel like they’ve been overcharged and recommended services their pets didn’t need, you always have the option to decline the services. I’ve had to do that several times myself. Just because Dr. Neel recommends a service or medicine doesn’t mean have to go through with it. Nobody there forces you to authorize services you can’t afford or don’t feel your pet needs. You know you and your pets situation best, so if you sign off on a service you couldn’t afford or didn’t want, you only have yourself to blame.
I am extremely thankful to the Dunkin staff. The doctor and technicians are kind and efficient. They were able to diagnose and operate on my pup the same day! The doctor took the time to call the morning after the operation to check on my dog and answer any questions I had. I will continue bringing my dog here for wellness checks. I am a first time dog owner and I am glad I took my dog to him. Information I received from doctor is great. He explained everything in details and make me understand how dog react. I am 100% satisficed with their service.
I called and asked how much a normal rabbies vaccine was and the man told me it was $35 so I made an appointment and when I took my dog in which is a Frenchie I was charged $151. And I assume it was because the doctor was asking me how much I paid for him and I responded with how much and he was an expressive dog. Also the vet didn’t even try to be careful with my dog which is still a puppy. When I left my dog started limping. Never taking my dog there again!
The staff was friendly but the vet it’s shady. He definitely cares about money and not your pets so do not go to this vet! They charged me $700 just so my dog could come home WORSE. they gave her 4 different medications and it just worsen my dog the next day. Yes I know I signed for all the procedures but it is just way too pricey And no positive symptoms. x ray $300 and in another vet is only $90! Choose wisely people. (PS: I am aware they gave my dog medication without even knowing what she really has. She got prescribed seizure medication when in reality she didn’t show signs of seizure attacks. Same thing happened with a known friend that went to this vet also)
Not what i expected at all. First of all i had an appointment at 5pm. They made us wait like 38 mins. They saw two other patients before us when we had an appointment first. Then the doctor didnt even see us first they send the nurse assistant to ask which shots they wanted to get and didnt even explain to us which ones could they possibly get. Like if they were just trying to get us out of there as soon as possible. Then the doctor comes in just to give my dog the shot. I came in for a checkup and he didnt even ask us what was wrong or if we had any concerns. My dad had to be the one telling him our problem and then he didnt even make a remark about what we told him. Very unpersonal and fast get in wait 30 mins even though i had an appointment and get out as soon as possible. I really dont want to come back again.
I brought my sick cat here for treatment and am very pleased! The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. They really take privacy seriously and I appreciated it. When discussing pricing, they are very discreet. Definitely make you feel welcome. I will be bringing my cat, and any future pets, here for treatment!
Typically, veterinarians make me nervous as I am very protective of my dog, but Dr. Neel and his team took great care of my pet. As soon as you arrive the team gathers an extensive medical history and shows genuine interest in your pet. This is something I found that was lacking amongst other vets in Cicero that I will not name. They were very patient when I bombarded them with a billion questions about the procedures my dog was to undergo, and they were well prepared to answer all of them fully. They are also very understanding of the community that they work in, and they are sensitive to the issues families here face. This went a long way in building trust between myself and the entire staff. In addition, days after my dog underwent her procedure, the staff made phone calls to ensure that she was recovering correctly and asked questions that showed they truly cared about her progress. The team is very professional, and they run a very nice facility with services of the same caliber. Highly recommended.
In December of 2019, my dog got sick while we were visiting Chicago. My family contacted Dunkin vet clinic because of its high rating amongst other clinics near us. We are grateful to Dr. Neel for waiting for us after hours during the holidays, to help our dog feel better. I would definitely recommend his clinic, because he cares for his animals that he treats. And he also followed up by calling us, if our dog was feeling good! Dr. Neel is very caring and knowledgeable with pets and a very humble person. He will walk you through the treatment process, that made us feel comfortable putting our dog in his hands.
They treated my cat Shadow and I really well ! They seem to really care about the animals and they answered all my questions. Prices are great too, definitely recommend!
I received the news that I was going to be a puppies grandma and I feel that in better hands I could not have taken my Lila. Responsible, friendly, and professional team.
Took my dog for what they said was an ear infection. The vet came in for a 3 minute examination, didnt say a word to me about what the problem with the ear was, I had to ask the front desk attendant what was wrong with my dogs ear after she came in to give me a $600+ treatment plan selling me a bunch of unnecessary things. After I declined all the unnecessary things, I was left with a $402 bill to treat an ear infection ($30 for the follow up). Fast forward 1 month later, treatment completed...ear is still the same. I called to ask for opinions, they said they would need to do lab work for $230 to know what is that proper treatment plan (on top of the failed $402 treatment plan). They said the computer was down, so theyd need to call me back to address my concerns...I am still waiting. Will not be returning and will now need to take my dog to another vet to fix her ear.

Im not a pet owner but while while I was walking my cousins dog Alice a jagged pipe, sticking out of the ground, had cut a horrific incision into her abdomen; needing to get her some emergency help and thankfully Dunkin was available to help. At the vet Dr. Neel, the vet technician and office manager Singita, were all very professional and long story short I was able to take Alice home that same night and now about two weeks later the sutures are out and shes back to 100% Thanks again!
I brought my cat in here once before when he ate something poisonous. The Vet and his staff here were very friendly & informative, they provided me with many different solutions that was within my budget. So when I noticed my dogs had lumps, I took him there for a check up. My big dog gets nervous and excited in new places and they were very patient with his jumping on them (SORRY!) they again provided many different solutions within my budget to get dog the care he needs. This local vet is very welcoming and affordable and I will always come back and refer all my friends
Very satisfied with the service received! A couple of weeks ago, our dog was very sick, in pain, and would not stop crying. The doctor and staff were able to see us the same day, and were very thorough when examining her. The doctor took his time to explain what was wrong with our dog, and what tests we needed to get. Most importantly they were extremely KIND, PATIENT, and genuinely CARED about our dog. After giving her the medications prescribed, she is back to being a happy, and active dog.Absolutely love the fact that I can pop into the office (without my dog), and they remember and ask how my dog is doing. We are very grateful to have found Dunkin Veterinary Hospital and would definitely recommend them to everyone!
1 or 2 weeks after going to the vet, she healed up and i didnt even do anything special, just used a shampoo they gave me which didnt even help her with her itches as the vet said it would. the full plan wouldve been more than $400. it just makes me feel like they were in it for the money when she wouldve gotten better with time.
Dunkin is a wonderful vet clinic located in Cicero with a caring and professional support staff. The doctor at Dunkin truly cares for the pets he treats. I am happy that I now have a safe place to take my dog for follow up appointments so close to my home.
I tried this place out recently after so many other vets and finally i was referred to the right place. The people here are amazing and can handle my dog perfectly. They knew exactly which tests to run and and only gave me the options for what needed to be done. The place was clean, and the prices were very good. Going other places, the other vets would do tests i didnt need and always bad mouthed the previous vet before them but not Dr. Neel didnt. They care for you and your pet and did exactly that with me, they didnt concern with anything else except good health. This is my new vet for sure!!
I’ve been bringing my dog to Dunkin over 14 years now. Not only are they a kind a staff but very knowledgeable. They know my dog by name and her health history! Last year my dog was really sick, and they did everything to help us and comfort us. She is so much better and hasn’t been sick since. The most important thing, which makes me love this place is that they genuinely care for my dog and treat her as their own..I’m truly grateful! I highly recommended this veterinary.
Im 9 years old, and never seen a perfect pet helping place. I been here before, and it wonderfully had perfect service! Our cats (Toby and Teddy) werent diagnosed because there were fine, my black cat (Toby) had an infection (probably) on its tail, my sister called this perfect place. Hopefully I can see this perfect service again!
A great vet at very affordable prices. My cat wasnt feeling so well, and they fit him in right away. They really care about animals here. They explain everything that they think is wrong. They walk you through the steps, and keep you informed.We plan to bring our cats here for years to come.
I took my cat here to get fixed and the staff was so nice! They talked me through the whole process and even cut my cats nails for me. They also continued to check up on my cat after the procedure, I highly recommend them to everyone!
I came here because of the high ratings, thinking this would be a doctor that really cared for animals. On my last puppy care appointment I asked various questions in which I was ignore and the vet left the office. Thought I give it a second try came back for the flu shots and to have my questions answered . Before going I called to see how much the shot would be, the young man who work there said $45 for the first set and another $45 for the second. When I went to pay, they charged me $101 and the explanation was , the vet checked her so is extra. Why would I want her to be checked when she was there about a month ago?. Not coming back, he is there for the money and no longer cares for the pets. Their prices are too high. Ive done my research after this bad experience and there are much better places with upfront prices. Dont get fooled by their explanation below.
Ive been here multiple times now and Dr. Neel truly a knowledgeable and caring vet. You can tell by the way he talks and how he explains things that his #1 priority is making sure your pet is healthy/cared for and that you as an owner have everything you need to take care of your pet. Ive been to a few vets for my puppy (a Yorkie) and I will be sticking with Dunkin!
Wonderful care! I brought in my cat not knowing what was wrong with him. The doctor and his wife immediately told me that my sweet kitty had a block. He was hospitalized for 3 days and given the utmost best care. They really care about the animals, I get calls up to day checking up on how hes doing. Doctor is fully honest about everything and will educate you on what is wrong with your friend. I think my favorite part is that he takes the time to actually explain what is wrong with them in detail and what causes it. I just moved here from TX and I can say he is one of the best vets i have taken my animal friends to! thank youuu
I absolutely love this vet! They make you feel welcomed and you are not rushed out the door. Dr. Neel was very understanding regarding my fur baby needs. In fact he thanked me for trusting him with my pets care!! They are a little pricey with cost but well worth every penny! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has a pet. When I got my German Shepherd puppy he was very sick and the Dr. got him into perfect health. The whole staff is nice and caring, they always remember me and even ask about my family who also goes here. The Dr. will explain any questions you have about your dog or the medicines he wants to prescribe to you and why. I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else.
When we had our first dog, we went to another vet only that vet was rude and decided to go elsewhere. We came to Dunkin Vet and they were extremely nice. A few years later, our dog passed away. Mind you we had another dog but what I really loved was that they still remembered our former dog. What I love about them is that they know our dogs and ask abou them when we take them in. They care about them and help you anyway they can. I’ve noticed that they’ll help you in anyway they can. I also love how they remember their clients!! When we go in the ask about our other dog and how they are. I will extremely recommend them!! I wouldn’t trust them with any other vet. And I thank them for everything they have done. When we are short of payment they find a way to help. It’s not about money for them but helping you cure your love one!!!
Dunkin Veterinary Hospital is a friendly and caring place totake your pets. The Dr. and his staff, are all very well trainedin making sure your pets needs are taken care of. Having abusy schedule like most do, it is nice to get emails from Dunkinto remind me of what shots are due for my pet. I also love thefact that I can take him there for his grooming needs. It is alwaysa pleasurable visit for me and Bandit.
I did not have a good experience at Dunkin. My dog had an ear infection and needed antibiotics. However, I felt like I was constantly pushed for additional services that weren’t necessary. I understand the comprehensive care model but this seemed like a money grab. I don’t think there’s evidence to support vitamin injections for an ear infection. I won’t be going back.
Been going for years and always realized how lucky i am to be with this doctor so I thought He treats everyone so nicely and truly cares about my pet. My dog roscoe likes to eat everything and it here often but he always feels at home. To me they are worth every penny, I wouldnt imagine going anywhere else. The doctor and staff are the best!
I hate most vets because they usually seem uninterested in the actual pet, found this place close to me and chose it based on the reviews and I must say, completely worth it. The staff are very attentive and cared very much about the well-being of my cat. My cat seems to have had some urinary tract problem and was completely lethargic, but now is up and running and following me everywhere as usual. Glad to see my cat happy, so Im happy with Dunkin veterinary animal hospital.
Ive been going to Dunkin Veterinary Hospital for a few years now and I have to say, I couldnt be happier. They make you feel like family and they treat my Boxer as part of their family! The doctor and his staff are always so helpful and go out of their way to help with any concern.I also like that its not as expensive as other animal hospital! Over the last few years we have had to make some decisions on our pets and Dr. Neel @ Dunkin is awesome they tell you up front what you pet needs and how to be treated and they want what is best for your pet too, so it is easier to know from a professional point of view. still not always an easy choice. The office is clean the staff is friendly and always happy and with a smile on their faces.We never feel taken advantage of by them, they want/will work with you they are awesome people to have as a Vet & Staff they took awesome care of my Kodi (R.I.P), and made his last few days comfortable for him..And our Chihuahua I am very comfortable with how they handle a small yet STUBBORN dog.Thank you Dunkin Staff for always making me feel good about our vet visits
I went to Dunkin Veterinary Hospital because my cat was really sick. First I went to a vet that did a bunch of tests and a lot of medicine. Nothing was helping her after a week. I truly feel the first vet just took me for all I had. So I found Dunkin Veterinary Hospital and I went there. The Doctor and the staff were so nice and helpful. The Doctor actually made me feel better. He gave me words of wisdom that my cat should be ok. After seeing Dr. Neel my cat is doing much better. I love these guys. He made me feel so much better and I trust them. I was not pushed to do more things for my cat. The first thing was to get her stable and well. I think the Doctor is smart and well educated in dealing with sick animals. The prices are reasonable and he truly loves the animals and he is very good at handling them.I will never go any place else but DUNKIN vet. Trust me - you will be very happy with them once you go there.
One of the best places to take your pet, we took our yorkie he needed surgery really bad, they treated him excellent especially with good care. They are very compassionate and seeks ways to help your pet. definitely recommend this vet and the staff and doctor are excellent
Dr. Neel and his team are outstanding! They show such compassion and love for my fur babies and Dr. Neel keeps on top of what is new in the field of veterinary medicine so I am 100% confident that he knows exactly what is right for my furkids and the best way to treat them. More importantly, when he doesnt know, he researches the condition extensively and has called us on weekend evenings. I dont know of any Vet, or human doctor for that matter, who will do this for their patients.I only wished he treated us humans too!

Very disappointing, I have been going to this vet for about 3/4 years, the staff is very friendly but their prices are very high and the doctor wouldnt even want to touch my dog, I really trusted them and now my dog who is a senior is facing health problems because the doctor noticed early signs of asthma and heart problems but never did anything about it (no medication, no advice, no future follow up). I always walked out of that place so unhappy they made me pay so much they never did any blood work or help prevent any complications they saw. I though that this place was the cheapest but its not worth the money, I am now at a different vet where the money matches the quality. Even the vet that I go to now was surprised by why my previous vet didnt explained to me any complications she had which were obvious and common for her breed.
Absolutely amazing. I have been to so many other clinics and by far this has been the best of all. They take amazing care of you and your pet. They did an amazing job on my fluffy. They take their time to explain everything to you and best of all, they give me all the estimates beforehand so i know exactly what im looking at. Their options and staff are amazing!. Been taking my dog @Dunkin since she was a puppy and they took great care of my dog Jackie. As my dog started to age (11years old at the moment) she was diagnosed with a life threatening issue due to my dog Jackie never spayed, Dr. Neel checked up on Jackie and told us what was going on and with a couple of tests & 2 surgery’s she’s is all good & from this day my dog is healthy and happy. Thank you to Dr. Neel & his assistants!
I have visited Dr. Neels facility twice thus far and very satisfied with the service. The first time I was allowed to be present during a regular checkup and Dr. Neel explained everything he was doing. It was obvious to me he is very knowledgeable.I have only started taking my dog to vet recently - he is an older dog and had some preexisting conditions and I only wish I had taken him there more often..I cant make any price comparisons however from talking other pet owners it seems like normal rates as far as what to expect for vet care. However they always broke down options and choices for me.I definitely recommend taking your pet here.
A little while ago my dog was very sick and was rapidly deteriorating in health.It was very scary for us and it looked like she might not make it. Dr. Neel was very fastwith identifying what was wrong with my dog and he explained everything to me in away that was easy to understand. It turned out that my girl had large growths on her uterusthat were restricting blood flow and essentially killing her. Dr. Neel saved my dogs life.He performed surgery on her and it was a success. I am so grateful to him for going above andbeyond what I ever expected from a vet. Not only was he wonderful with treating her, he was greatwith then follow up recovery period.I was beyond fortunate that such a great vet was located so close to me. Not only wasDr. Neel absolutely wonderful, his staff was great as well. They were all wonderful people thatreally care and make all your interactions feel personal. It is a great relief when you cantell that the people giving care to your beloved pets care as much about them as you do.Since this is a review and not just an anecdote, I would also like to mention their prices.I was amazed at how affordable they were. Prior to visiting, I had heard many horror storiesabout how expensive health care for pets could get. Ive been told just all the extensive tests could run you into the $1500+ range. The testing, the visits, and the surgery all combined cost me less than $2000 total. AmazingI would highly recommend Dr. Neel and his wonderful staff to every pet owner I know. Wonderfulstaff, great care, and great prices.
My cat was hurt and everyone there took very good care of him. They explained in detail what was wrong with him and how they were going to treat him. They answered all my questions and showed me how to take care of his wound while it healed. Every time I had a question or a concern, they made an appointment for that same day so they can see him and address my concerns. They are great, I was so happy that my cat was in great hands, they are wonderful people. Thanks to them my cat is all better and running around like he use to.
They saved my dogs life!!! Dr. Neel, Sangita & Luis were amazing. They helped me understand the whole process and answered all my ridiculous questions. My pup was home later that day recovering from emergency surgery. And the doctor called me personally on a holiday to check up on my dog.Thank you isnt enough to show my gratitude towards them.Weeks Later: they still call to check on Phelony and have worked so hard to help me heal her.
They were able to see my dog the same day for his rabies shot! My dog is very afraid of new people but the staff there was so wonderful i have never seen him that happy in front of new people

My dog was very ill and she ended up getting surgery. She recovered great! She is now back to running and jumping all over the place. They were very caring and very kind, 100 percent recommend.

Ive been going to here for almost 2 decades. Dr. Neel and his staff are amazing. Dr. Neel has provided the best care for my pets for so many years. Top notch service! He is truly a vet that has a huge heart for animals.
When we decided to have our German Shepard neutered, we came here. They were very gentle, and patient with him. When it was time for vaccinations, I would call to find the least crowded time (our dog is not very social) and they would get me in and out, without any doggy disturbances.
Went in as a first timer, the vet assistants were very kind & informative. although the Doctor not so much, he asked if it was our first time owning a pet & we said yes. he began trying to make all types of unnecessary tests. he said my cats eye was slightly bigger than the other & that it was a genetic problem & had to take a look at that, also CBC blood tests & felt “tumors” around my cats abdomen that required x-rays & more tests. he tried to push us to do vaccines etc. he quoted us more than $950 when i was JUST going in for a yearly check up & 2 vaccines. about $80 worth. i have NEVER heard such thing i forgot to mention to him i previously worked as a Vet assistant too!! ridiculous. i immediately left to Melrose Park Animal Hospital, where i use to work, which helped me tremendously! i explained the situation & the doctor himself was quite shocked. i left paying $30 for ONLY a check up because indeed this talented doctor felt my pregnant cats kitties without an x-ray or blood tests being done. i mean how could someone not know it’s kittens when she was heavily pregnant and he felt them move. therefore couldnt continue vaccines because it would’ve been risking the kittens. something the doctor at Dunkin tried to do FIRST before the x-rays. shame on you. HE COULDVE RISKED THE KITTENS LIVES. NEVER AGAIN. he tried to juice money out of you forgetting i worked in the field before! HORRIBLE.
I had one of the best experience when we took our dog here. My dog was throwing up all colors of fluid.. yellow,.. white.. pinkish, etc. We were scared! My dog was very comfortable with the Doctor and his staff. Our dog stop throwing up after first dose! Now this is my only GOTO place for our dog. Thanks very much!

Ive been taking our Pekinese to Dunkin for several years and they are so gentle and caring for her, especially now that she is much older. I also get her groomed here because nobody else has the patience they do. Their prices are also much reasonable than other places Ive called in the past.

Only out to get money. Would suggest ridiculous procedures for no reason. Very shady doctor. Lost our prescription and we had to wait 30 min while they scrambled to write a new one. Then gave us the wrong medication even though the dogs have been on the same meds for 3 years.
We had an emergency that we were dealing with and the staff took us in right away. The doctor was very knowledgeable and caring to my sick puppy and did everything he could to find out what the problem was. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone!
My regular veterinary clinic suggested I take my dog, Pecas to the ophthalmologist for his melting eye after two expensive fruitless attempts with eye drops. However they were closed for an entire month. While on out way to another hospital me and my nom spotted Dunkin, a small hospital. I suggested we give it a chance since Pecas is was in a bad condition and we just wanted him to get better. This was the best decision we made! After the first eye drop prescription and clear inatructions we started to notice results. With each four prescriptions Pecass eye looked healthy and normal. Now it is almost like he never had a problem to beggin with thanks to the medicine they specifically made for him. The staff also remembers your pet and the condition they have!Lovely staff and a kind veterinarian that cares for your pets well being and health. I would come again for any major problems.
Dr. Neel is so kind and helpful. The staff is so friendly and kind. They will explain everything you and i like the fact that they discuss everything before doing anything. I know that i will say yes to everything they recommend but i love the fact that they care so much and put in so much effort to make sure im cared for and my pet fluffy is always kept healthy. Not a Hospital. If you live around the Cicero/Berwyn area, don’t go to any local “animal hospitals”. You’ll end up wasting your time if you’re in a emergency. They’ll just recommend you a real animal hospital. Terrible people.

Dr. Neel and his staff provided quality care and attention and showed that he really enjoys what he does. He helps you understand what is going on with your pet in greater depth than any other animal hospital that I have been to. I would recommend anyone to go see Dr. Neel for whatever your pets needs may be.
Horrible vets! Lied about the weight of a pup, didn’t provide the care necessary for a hypo dog and didn’t even disclose that he was hypo. No nutrical??? No running a line??? They said the gums were irregular and pale but didn’t feel the need to fix the hypoglycemia. Do not recommend for a small pup
After hearing some good things about this clinic it was really rather disappointing when I went there with my new kitten who was suffering from itching and biting her skin on the back of her legs. The doctor could not tell me what it possibly was due to. First of all without showing me what he was planning on giving me for my kitten I was asked to sign a form that I would pay the total amount due without even knowing what the bill was. The doctor gave me antibiotics which were four times the amount that was needed and that he recommended she have, he gave me a HUGE bottle of antiseptic shampoo which I can understand as maybe that was the only size, but then since she had already been vetted when I adopted her he gave me a deworming pill when she had just had a treatment not even four weeks before, I was afraid to give it to her again and when I checked with another vet he told me not to give it to her. He also told me I had to give her vitamins (fine) which what he gave me after looking online he charged me DOUBLE of what I could have gotten them for at Petsmart. I was charged IN ADVANCE for tests that were recommended for the following visit as well as charged IN ADVANCE for a fecal test. Which I was only told about when I asked because according to the person at the front desk the printer was not working and I could not even see a copy of my bill before I paid and I went to pay, the bill was over $300!!! . I asked for a receipt to be sent to my email which I never received but i did get BARRAGED by emails from the clinic almost every day for two weeks and had to block the emails. Then to top it off, a lady called from the clinic as a follow up because I decided not to go back and she asked me how my DOG was....I am still wondering what I was charged for, and my kitten turned out to be allergic to the fancy kitty litter with the febreeze in it. Needless to say I bought organic kittly litter and everyone is happy.

I brought my chihuahua she was really sick and they were able to see her that same day and let us know what’s wrong , they really do care about your pets here and try to help you in any way ! The service is great, but you dont need any more for you cats or kitten than a check up and the rabbies vaccination. They offer a kitten package for kittens, but I dont think all those vaccinations are necessary. They care.

I came here with my dog the other day to figure out why they were so tired. They managed to find out it was from worms. Gave me advice on treatment and some medicine to flush them out. They were very professional with their service. Worth every penny!
Next day appointment available, the wait was less than 20 min . Dr explained the treatment plan and allows you to be involved in the process. Dr. and staff know my pet by name and health history . Visitation cost reasonable. Client since 2013 .

Well to start off Ive took both of my dogs to dunkin for about 3 years now and the last time I took my dog to get 3 teeth extracted I was told 6 hundred dollars would cover everything well I was an emotional wreck at the time because my dog is old so I felt like that was the last time that I would see her well I was glad she made it Im not complaining about the work they did but the cost exceed to two thousand dollars because of all the unnecessary things they said I need to get done it didnt make sense to me then but they actually ran the bill up on my saying I need a akg.blood test and x-rays to see if the dog can make it threw surgery I said OK well I talked to different animal hospitals and they were shocked about the price that dunkin. Charge me they said they wouldnt of charge me no were near half of what dunkin. Took me for and that my dog didnt need half the stuff that dunkin. Said I did so I though about for awhile and what Ive come up with is they play on your feelings and your pocket book Im not say this because Im cheep or couldnt afford this because I can money isnt the issue when it comes to my dog .Im not happy with this hospital they do have good fast service the people who work there are nice but the bill way to high I will not be using dunkin again its much cheaper to get insurance then to go to dunkin .

Dunkin veterinarian hospital is a very loving place for dogs they did everything for my Sasha until there was no more to do she passed peacefully . they helped me to understand the Rainbow Bridge poem and that Sasha was in a better place.
The staff is kind but my animal is still wounded after 2 visits... He has an open wound in his stomach... And each time we try to have them fix it, they keep charging us more money... All the stitches came out and the glue didnt hold... Pay us more money....
My dog contracted Parvo, he was so close to death, but they prescribed a tough medicinal regimen and he is 100 percent back to himself. thank you for saving my puppy.

I went to this vet clinic for my dog chase as he was having diarrhea for few days. Dr.Neel and his staff very well handled my dog and treated him with great love. After doing the test, they also suggested me about his Diet plan and medicine. After few days they would also keep checking on my dog about how he is doing at home. I really loved their service and effort towards my pet. I would highly recommend this vet clinic.

2022-08-03Been going to Dunkin Vet since we got our new family member 6 months ago. My baby buddy recently bit an electrical cord took him in asap. Dr. and staff were great very compassionate, after visit they had the courtesy to call and check how buddy was doing. Every time I called with questions and concerns. I always got the help and support needed. Fortunately he is recovering with treatment given. Thank you !!

2021-08-04My cat hadn’t ate or used the bathroom in days. I had taken him to the emergency room and waited 8 hrs there for him to get looked at. And it didn’t help him at all. I went to Dunkin vet & the next day he was using the bathroom and eating. They truly saved my cats life. And for that I am so thankful they treated him.

2022-03-28I come here for my dog and cat. And recently my cat began to walk funny and was crying in pain. I called to see if they’re able to see my cat the next day for an emergency and they were able to fit us in their schedule. The next day she is no longer crying and is getting back to normal (: really recommend this as your go to vet, the entire team is perfect and caring.

2022-04-06I can’t thank this clinic enough! My cat was having a medical emergency and they were able to accommodate him the same day despite being very busy with other appointments. They found the cause of his issue and were very thorough with his treatment and scheduling follow ups. They also took the time to show me how to manage his condition at home. They answered all of my questions.

2022-06-24I was traveling out of the country with my dog and I needed to get a Health Certificate for her. I left it to last couple of days because I didnt think it would be much trouble to schedule an appointment for her and I was told It had to be dated within a few days of the departure date. The vet that I normally take her to was not able to issue one for her because she did not have her influenza vaccines. I had called so many vets and no one was able to see her soon. I finally stumbled across Dunkin Veterinary Hospital number online and I was so grateful they were able to schedule me in. They were really nice and I was able to get all all the requirements I needed to travel with my dog.

2021-07-27I’ve been a customer for approximately 8 years and Dr.Neel has taken good care of my 3 dogs. He came up with an action plan for my dog (Gutty) who has IBS and we’ve able to successfully manage his condition. He’s performed surgery( spay & neuter (Suzy & Brandy ) on my other two other dogs successfully and without complications. He’s the only vet I trust for my dogs care.

2022-06-12Worse experience ever. Do not bring your dogs here. They are not professional, or patient, and do not know how to properly examine a dog. The Doctor is very rude, doesn’t even take more than 1 minute to fully examine my dog, he didn’t know what diagnoses he had but wanted to charge me $300 in medicine plus $66 for “checking him” I let him know my dog was just neutered and had developed a cough, he pulled my dogs leg and my dog screamed and reacted to bite his hand. The doctor was only concerned about the bite from that point on, my dog has his rabies vaccines, had the tag but the doctor didn’t believe he did because he didn’t get the vaccine with him.Then he left the room and when he came back, said to grab my “aggressive dog” away from him. Keep in mind I have a mini golden doodle that weighs less than 20 lbs and has never been aggressive. The doctor didn’t want to treat him or finish the check up. I will never be going back.

2021-09-08They do not value you as a customer! I went in for a rabies shot. Normally i would have the nails trimmed, too. They said they were not doing that due to Covid. I dont understand why. Anyway, I assumed the same was true for the mandatory brief exam costing $40. When the doctor walked in, gave Elmo his shot and walked out, i figured i was right. They charged me $75. I asked for my receipt to see why. They said they would need to go to another room for that, like it was inconvenient. I said it was fine and waited. She came back saying she couldnt print one and could it be emailed. I explained i wanted to know why my bill is so high. She said it was for the brief exam!👎I protested that he didnt even DO an exam. The doctor came out and told me off. They refunded $65 of the money and told me they NEVER wanted to see me or my dog again!🤷🏾♀️. Because I needed them to do what they charged me for and give me a receipt for payment. Id drive to another state before i would go to that place again! The nerve!!!
