Very disappointed by my experience with this provider. I simply wanted to know what my cost for a 3D Bilateral Mammogram out of pocket would be (After they apply their discount/deal that they have with my insurance provider) and they refuse to tell me!!!! I dump my hard earned money into my insurance plan, and make sure to stay within network in order to get the negotiated discounted pricing on testing services when needed. As a patient/consumer, I have the right to know what my end cost is going to be!They have no answers to my financial concerns but I have no doubt they will have no problem hounding me once it comes time to collecting payment for the bill!!***FOLLOW UP: I sent an email to the organization, as they offered below in their reply to my Google Review.....and surprise, surprise, no reply. Their Google replies are just an automated to make it look like they care. They had no response to my e-mails.
This review concerns radiology, not any other department. I had xrays on 7-11. They told me they would be sent to my doctor in about three days. I called to check on 7-15 and was told they were in process and would be sent out that day. As of 7-26, they are still “in process but should be done today, however, if you want them now, you can drive to Lisle and get them.” They won’t email anything. If you need results in a reasonable time (not the 15-20 business days the records department says is typical) have your doctor mark the request urgent, then the delay is only about 5 days. Next time I will go anywhere else.
This review is for pediatrics. I brought my sick child in for an exam. I had to ask the doctor to check my child’s temperature before he left. The nurse never checked and dr was almost out the door. If a patient comes in, it’s that standard? And to ask the patient to open their mouth to check their throat to see if it is swollen? 5 days later I now have 2 sick children coughing and fevers over 100. Time to find a new provider
If I could give the Bloomingdale lab (Springfield Dr) 0 stars, I would! They do NOT know what they’re doing! I went in at 28 weeks pregnant for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test. I fasted for 14 hours (as I was told) and then got to the lab. This young phlebotomist took me back and said ok here is the glucose drink, you have 5 minutes to drink it then we’ll draw your blood in an hour. I asked her TWICE if she was sure she wasn’t supposed to draw my flood FIRST to get my fasting level and she told me no. I drank the glucose and 20 minutes later she called me back and said “please don’t hate me. I was supposed to draw your blood before you drank. You’ll have to come back another time.” I was FURIOUS! How incompetent!! I will NEVER go to this lab again!!
Went to the immediate care for pink eye and little did I know Id be sitting there for for about 3 hours. They told me that the wait was about an hour. when the nurse took me back to see doctor I waited another 30 mins in the room, all for the doctor to be rude and speak over me. I am not going to DMG for any medical care and switched my primary to another group. Also they charged me $235 for the privileged for waiting for crappy service. I would have been better off going to the VA and thats saying something. I would give negative stars if I could.
We were traveling and my 2 year old got pink eye. I called to see if they could send a prescription to our destination. They refused to do anything and told me to take him to urgent care (which wasn’t available). The nurse told me that my two year old just had to deal with it!! How can you say that for a two year old who keeps saying mommy my eye hurts! Terrible customer service. Will find a new pediatrician
I came here with my daughter on a Monday late morning. We were the only people at around 11am so we waited only a couple of minutes to see the doctor. The nurse was friendly and nice. The doctor was helpful and friendly. I would come here over a regular emergency room.
I was at the DMG Stratford building last Friday for an MRI. I was taken right on time and the whole procedure was completed in a very friendly manner very quickly. I was told to expect my results in 48 business hours but the results were on MyChart in less then two hours. Thank You!
This place is the best!! Sonal Patel is the best dr in the whole place!!! She listens and helps u. I love everybody there though they are all so nice in the lab, physical therapy, etc I never had to wait more than an half an hour. The dr is pretty much on time she might be 10 min late but, it because she takes time with u. Dr Sonal Patel saved my moms life from a blood clot. I had been seeing dr Patel for about 15 years before she was at Dupage. Anyway the place is very clean and never had problems and the people who bring u in to the room and front desk people are very friendly and great!! I’d recommend them to anyone!!!!!!
Ive been going here for a couple years now. I have not encountered anything bad while going here. Everyone is friendly and nice. Some of the people that are at the desk are not overly friendly but they havent been rude. I like my doctor and I just saw a new doctor that was super friendly. Dr Songal Patel and Dr Angelina B are both nice. I am not 100 percent sure of the doctor I just saw since this was my fist time meeting her. She listen and and is helping me figure out what ia going on.
Extremely disappointed with the way our child’s appointments have been handled at the Bloomingdale pediatrics location. After coming in for numerous well check appointments and calling the office with our concerns, we were always dismissed and told our daughters symptoms were normal and nothing to worry about. Even told once by a nurse no need to make an appointment. Switched pedetricians and turns out she had a milk protein allergy that was causing all of her discomfort that DMG said was “normal” for babies her age. Unbelievable.
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!! This review is specifically the pediatrics department. I have NEVER encountered such ignorant, inconsiderate, rude, unprofessional receptionists and nurses in my life! If you want to be talked down to because of the type of insurance you have or because you have more than one question about your baby then this is the perfect place for you! Why would these receptionists and nurses choose a job where you have to be NICE and courteous to people? Really beats me! I suggest they look into a job where there is zero communication with mothers and fathers who are concerned for their babies! To management:You desperately need to have a serious meeting with your staff (especially the ones who are scheduling appointments and answering phone calls) and perhaps touch base with them on proper communication, maybe go back to a first grade lesson plan on respect and have a chat on how to treat your clients in a pleasant manner...maybe then DuPage Medical Group Pediatrics will receive less 1 star ratings.
Dr. Maricruz Pajares MD is the best doctor! I’ve been to Advocate and Resurrection but not one doctor there treated me with kindness and respect like Dr. Pajares has. Facilities are clean and staff is very organized and nice. Thank you Bloomingdale DMG!The star rating on their main page does not reflect the 5 star quality received at this location.
This place is a joke. We called in the morning to make an appointment as our regular doctor couldnt see my child today. We had a 5:15 appointment. We checked in and were told it would be an hour and a half to two hour wait. Someone checked in after us and we heard them told the same thing. I went to the front again after waiting 45 minutes and she said she had no idea when we would be seen. I asked what the purpose of having an appointment was and she rolled her eyes and was snippy with me. Terrible staff, awful experience. We wont ever be back.
Have been going there for years and have gotten nothing but horrible service. They deprive you of your medication unless you see them constantly even if you have no insurance. Communication is a joke. You have to constantly call them and wait on hold to find out why you have no refills on medication. Meanwhile you are suffering with out your meds. Wish I could go somewhere else.
Was the woman at the lab / radiology sign-in desk this morning getting paid to play solitaire? She didnt do anything besides that! Wouldnt, greet me, tell me how to sign in, or even assist the technicians!I dont know how long the gentleman ahead of me had been waiting, but she failed to even point out to him that he had to flip the light switch for service. If I hadnt flipped the switch, prompting service for both of us, who knows how long he wouldve waited!
These Doctors and Paramedics treat people with care, dignity and respect, and theyre not above a little hand-holding if a patient needs it. Ive been treated at this ICC before, but never knew I could review the visits. The people here earn every bit of praise they receive and more. This visit was very difficult for me to go to as I had a hard lump totally inside the skin in the nether region and was so embarrassed that it took over 1-1/2 weeks after finding it before telling my doctor. No surgeons were available that Friday, but a doctor in ICC was willing to see what it was. My doctor didnt want me going through the weekend without knowing what it was. Finally, I went, before they closed. The paramedic who took my vitals was great about it, reassuring me that they saw all kinds of things, and I shouldnt be ashamed. The doctor was even more reassuring. He had a friendly face with dancing blue eyes, and already knew about my situation. He was so calm and self- assured that I couldnt help but relax. The two of them made a great team! They opened and examined the abscess and let it drain a for a little bit. The doctor explained all of the steps as he went along, and after the pinch of the painkiller needle, the rest was painless. I was also told that anything strange that shows up on your body should be discussed with your doctor right away. I realized they were right. What if it had festered? I could have ended up in a much worse condition!I was sent home with supplies in caseI needed to change the pack on the area, and return today for a check and to be stitched up if all is well. Ill let you know how that goes!!You cant find a better place to be taken care of, believe me. When I was 8 yrs old, it would take 5 people just to give me a tetanus shot. I was terrified of needles! In my 30s I made peace w/dentists and Novocaine. In my 40d I started donating blood. I have very poor veins, but anyone at DMG can draw me, and wont play go fish looking for a vein! I go willingly - thats quite an endorsement coming from me!!
Go some where else. The staff has refused medical treament twice on two separate ocations for two separate issues and does not to listen to patients. No problem billing though. Not sick enough for long enough to be taken care of. Have to go home and come back when its worse. So they can bill twice.
I brought my 7 year old daughter to immediate care on a Friday night after our pediatricians office had closed. She had a cough for several days and had developed a high fever. Dr. Powe and the staff were wonderful with her. I wish I could recall the paramedics name - she was compassionate and patient with my daughter. We didnt have to wait long at all to be seen and were given Tylenol to make her comfortable following her strep test. The test came back negative and Dr. Powe took time to answer all of my questions and talk through sending the test out for culture and next steps. I appreciate that he didnt push antibiotics, I know many parents want that but I did not unless it was absolutely necessary. The culture came back negative. The staff called me with the results and to check on my daughter, who was doing much better. I would recommend the Immediate Care location. Thank you DMG for a great experience.
Loved DMG, loved my Doctor. DULY has been nothing but incompetent. My Dr. left private practice, so I was left without a Dr. I am on several meds, many which, unbeknownst to me, would be needing a refill. When I tried requesting refills, it has been a nightmare. They sent a refill to a mail order pharmacy, which I don’t even use anymore. I’ve been left hanging on hold for a nurse for 45 minutes, but, the last straw was, ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, I timed it. Script refills have been denied, even though I told them it was an important medication that I can’t run out of.I will be finding a new Dr. at a new place, a place that REALLY cares about patients, doesn’t just give it lip service.

2018-11-14For years me and my family have been with DMG. DMG pediatrics at Bloomingdale is excellent. The new facility is clean and spacious. The diagnostic department crew are polite and friendly. Just like any other doctors office the first 5 appointments in the morning and the first five appointments after the lunch hour run on time or else be prepared to wait especially if you have the last appointment of the day.

2021-12-23Nice center. However it would be nice if important information such as the working/open hours were posted for things like blood work on their web site.Dont even bother calling the provided phone number. No one will answer and you will listen to propaganda and music.

2021-08-21I dont want to talk bad about the entire staff of this location but Ive had a difficult time with the reception in the records department. Ive been waiting 2 weeks for them to send my records to another Hospital and it still hasnt been delivered. I am very disappointed and will most likely not come back. This process has left me very stressed and concerned. Wish the staff would have been more prompt and concerned.

2021-08-10Bedside manners leave much to be desired. First off if you dont wear a name tag, introduce yourself to the patient and communicate what youre about to do and tell us what to expect.I accompanied my bro-in-law who speaks limited English. As soon as we were called in from the waiting room, the girl never had an eye contact, didnt introduce herself and no name tag. She handed my bro-in-law a urine specimen collection bottle, no explanation, so I asked why. She said is a procedure they do there. I said he hasnt seen the doctor, urine specimen is usually ordered by the physician after an exam. Well, its just the thing we do here. We got to the exam room, she didnt say anything, she motioned for my bro-in-law to sit on the bed. Correct me if Im wrong but when you visit a doctors office, a conversation that goes, my name is _____, I will be taking your vital signs. is customary. Nothing like that was uttered, I had to ask what her name was as she was walking out the exam room.We told the PA that my brother was experiencing some hunger pains even after he just ate. She asked several questions, then she poked his whole entire belly around asking if any part is tender. He said no to every poke. When she was done poking, she wanted to do a CBC, CMP, lipase, EKG, and troponin. We refused all and I told her not to run the urine test. She had us sign a paper that we refused treatments and lab requests.I wonder if this place sees dollar signs when they see people walk into their building instead of patients needing healthcare.Im not telling you to stay away, but I am going to transfer my loved ones care to another medical group.

2019-11-12We drove nearly an hour using 2 hours of sick time to see a doctor we’ve been working with for a long time to try and solve issues that have yet to even be identified. Our original doctor was 20 minutes late and by the time they directed us to the lab, it was 5:02 (two minutes after they closed) and all the workers were cold and inconsiderate. Our doctor was late otherwise we’d have been there on time... it’s not our fault we came over right when we were finished. Time is VERY valuable for both us and them, not just them, I hope they can appreciate that, as someone in the service industry, on both sides of the counter... this is important, take care of your customers... even if it runs you an extra 5-10 minutes... which is all it took. We were back at the broken elevators by 5:08 (by the way, he two other nurses were simply complaining to each other very loudly and the door was wide open). I do want to praise Neha the nurse, the only one who actually took initiative to help with kindness and laughter. I understand people aren’t perfect, but I hope management understands this is NOT a good customer experience at all. Very disappointed in pretty much everything except Neha’s assistance.

2019-03-03Yes, I do see doctors in the DuPage Medical Group - that I am very satisfied with. But when it comes to more urgent treatment than a doctor appointment, I drive down to their new facility in Bloomingdale.Unfortunately for me, I have been there twice. Each time I found myself feeling very comfortable and confident in the care I received. The doctors were quite thorough and explained my medical issues in terms I could understand. The treatment/follow-up instructions were spot on!Even though I drive past about 2-3 other facilities that I could go to, in traveling here from Bartlett, I believe the trip is well worth it.Thank you for the quality and professional care!

2021-09-15Doctor is great but It takes for ever to get a hold of someone in this office. I waited 40 mins on hold just so they can hang up on me. This is frustrating.Im regretting switching doctors….
