You go because the location is convenient, but other than that they are always understaffed so if you need help with something know that there is a wait. Do not count on having your same day photo orders ready even after the time they say it should be ready for pick up. The employees never seem to know where my product is. No organization or file system needs to be updated. If you go during a peak time expect to wait for check out.
Absolutely the worst Walgreens I have ever visited. Not a single customer in the store around midnight were wearing face covering intentionally ignored by cashiers. Cashiers ignoring the constant flow of shoplifters literally packing pockets from shelves. . Stay away - More importantly Walgreens needs to fix this embarrassing mess.
After reading the foul reviews I felt it necessary to rate/post. I must be one lucky person, consistently. I stop/shop here 2-4 times weekly, usually during 3rd shift and experience virtually nothing less than proficient, polite and friendly employees along with fast service, pharmacy included. I have waited, on occasion, a bit long during mid-morning and mid-afternoon stops but feel thats to be expected being it is located at a high volume traffic area in a decent sized town. Having a 24hr Walgreens (including the pharmacy) within 4 blocks from my house is truly a great thing and as a regular shopper there have never had any issues personally or even seen any.
The pharmacy is terrible!I went in to get my script, and had to wait 20 min for my script okay cool that’s fine. I come back a few hours later after I drop my boyfriend off at work and take care of my newborn and I ask for the medicine I need that is very critical to my health and then I am told IT IS NOT IN STOCK! So you mean you are telling me after I wasting my time waiting for this medicine I could have found a pharmacy that had this in stock? Oh wait, this pharmacy never informed me of such knowledge until all other pharmacies were closed. 👍🏻
Called pharmacy to find out if a certain medicine was in stock - the female tech working at 830PM 12/20/2018 checked her inventory and said it is in stock . After my doctors office called in the prescription I found out that the prescription was not in stock and could take 3-4 days to arrive at the store. Unprofessional and un acceptable attitude of the pharmacy staff .

The pharmacy is god awful. I went to fill my monthly prescription and Jennifer I dont know if shes a pharmacist or if shes a tech was working had no clue how to process the dual insurance is that I hold. Not only that she wrote all over the back of my prescription notes from a doctor that had returned her call about another patients script! She also told me that they dont typically fill that type of prescription at 12:30 AM. Then why are you a 24 hour pharmacy? I work third shift and I happen to be off tonight hence the reason for going in. She lied to me and said she couldnt get the insurance to process but on the Walgreens app it showed it processed. I will be speaking with the manager tomorrow. Prescription is still not filled
The pharmacy is awful.... Slow, always a long line in drive thru and walk in, what Is going on here guys???? The store is very clean and organized, and the young lady at cosmetics is very helpful and nice so are the cashiers, just that pharmacy needs help BAD.... if our grandma wasnt stuck in her ways, we wouldnt even come to this pharmacy.....
We only came in to use the pharmacy. I had just been discharged from the hospital with a few prescriptions that needed filling, yet the hospital didn’t have a pharmacy. It was the weekend so we had to find an in network pharmacy. Two prescriptions took over an hour! I visited at around 5pm on a Saturday.The last thing I wanted to do was stand in Walgreens for an hour, after spending 5 days in hospital. Took way too long to get this sorted. CVS Target in Lake Bluff is much better, but not in network for me anymore! Sad times.
Pharmacy totally has no freaking idea what the hell they are doing!!!! I was told they cant give me a promise time for my script pick up I explained how much pain I am in and they said it should be no more then an hour. I freaking sat here in the parking lot waiting and its already been an hour and 15 minutes and they are telling me it will be another half hour. I switching back to CVS!!!!
Been shopping here for 10+ yrs, as i live a couple blocks away. Recently I experienced horrible customer service from one of the managers, simply because my ID is not an american issued ID. I tried to reason with the manager as Ive been a frequent customer for way too long & he wasnt having it. He publicly humiliated me and made me feel incompetent in front of many customers. His way of talking to me like if I wasnt worth his time, with a huge smirk on his face has caused me to now travel an extra mile to shop with CVS.. you shouldnt discriminate a Mexican shopper in WAUKEGAN, more so one who shops at your store 2-3 times a week!!!

You have to be lucky or get to the pharmacy when its not crowded to not spend 3 hours just to wait.The staff doesnt seem to be familiar with the facility and many times it causes a 20 min per person transaction.
I injoy walking through Walgreens and looking at all the great merchandise trying to find the best deals and specials on products to get I really do like that the store is kept extremely clean and is very well stocked with the newest products and merchandise. The staff are extremely friendly and are extremely helpful as they are trained to answer your questions about most common products and services that are available to there guests.
Only asked me how to spell the first name on my prescription and they ended up giving me the wrong medicine for a completely different person different name different date of birth and address pretty sure that illegal
Worst pharmacy staff ever. They always have a reason for not having RXs ready. Called 2days ahead and went to pick up and still not ready. Pharmacy staff is very rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful. Have now found another pharmacy which is more out of my way but worth it so I dont have to deal with staff.
I would not recommend this Walgreens. Understaffed and don’t care for the clients. Stood in line for 20 minutes when Walgreens called us to tell us the prescription was ready. Don’t know how to do their job. Save your time go to the Walgreens on Green Bay Road.

Takes way to long for pharmacy and had to ask my doctor to switch where my prescription goes because of this. These people need to either step up their game or hire more people to help.

This place is the most unprofessional walgreens I’ve ever been to. There are employees that don’t wear their uniform. I thought the store was getting robbed. No one has a key to any of the boxes. Management doesn’t care to help anyone out and when you ask for a store supervisor they say no one is in.

Today I had a bad experience at Walgreens Waukegan I took my 82-year-old dad and they didnt want to give him the COVID vaccine yesterday I called them in Spanish, the girl answered me very kindly and told me that she didnt need an appointment and today I took him and They did not want to give him the vaccine, a bad experience that I had today, the one from the pharmacy calls Brandon, so I give him a zero rating
Weeks ago you had a horrible experience with a person in the store is a cashier who is in the Philippine night or that kind of traits but they always have to scan the id when one buys cigarettes I do not know why She always wants to look at my address my birth date and my personal information to which I told him it was not appropriate and he sent me to ** and started making fun of me is the worst store Ive ever met a crap in attention at night because of the other girls I have nothing to say but that person in particular leaves much to be desired in attention I would like to know for what reason they have to see the personal information of the clients if they simply have to scan the id and not look at anything else before putting an opinion I left to another come back I did not even talk to a manager who told me it was not appropriate
I went to pick up my medicine that was ordered a day before and they told me that there was nothing in the system, they lost my prescription and the manager just told me very rude that this was not his problem, definitely very bad service.

2021-09-08Such a poor service. The pharmacy staff are irresponsible. Inspite of prior appointments, they will ask you to wait for hours and then say they dont have the vaccine. I have always found the other branches very responsible for vaccination.

2022-06-11Very bad experience in this pharmacy Leslie does not know what she is doing, if you don’t like to work with costumers girl find an other job.honestly this girl needs a retraining of her job.The manager second shift is supposed to help people and provide a solution to their costumers but she’s not and have a terrible attitude.I really dont know how Walgreems can have an employee like her.I do not recommend this place, if there was a rating lower than one star I would rated it.Poor service 🖕🏼

I understand that so many places are understaffed but that doesn’t mean that people should be rude or not want to “do their job.” Trying to get assistance from the pharmacy department about a medication shouldn’t be an issue, at least you would think it shouldn’t. Everyone there gives a different answer. No one can give you accurate information. Calls are just left on hold. What a disappointment. I’m willing to help figure things out if I could get some guidance but all I get is “I don’t know.” What do you know Walgreens pharmacy team?

2022-08-12Went in to some passport pic, was waiting for almost 30 minutes while everyone just kept looking at the photo area including people that seem to be managers from behind a semi mirror like glass. Horrible service in photo dep. Ended up leaving to go elsewhere.

2021-11-02Find better employees to run your register. Had two manufacturer coupons saved to my app & cashier couldn’t find them let alone didn’t seem to care. Was there November 2 @430pm. Was a girlat the checkout.

2022-01-20Worst service ever. I called 12 times to the Farmacy and 8 of my calls where never answered and the other 4 they hang up on me . But Since I need my medicine refill I am still trying to get a hold of someone to help me . That has never happened to me someone usually tells me to wait or answers right away

2021-08-25Waited in the line in the drive through covid testing for a half hour to be told at the end that the line for the covid test was the other one. Got in the other line. Waited for another 1 hour and 20 min to finally reach the window only to be told that theyre not doing anymore covid tests for the day. Terrible communication. No signs to guide the people.
