Glucose monitoring system was opened and missing stuff out of it. And they expect me to think this was okay and to inject myself with a needle out of an opened box. UNACCEPTABLE. Please do NOT go here. It took forever and was anything but conveinent. They are hilarious if they think Im actually going here again.
This has been my walgreens for years and my wifes walgreens almost her whole life. All of sudden now I cant buy cigarettes with out my whole family showing their IDs, even though my niece is too young to have an ID. A manager has told me before that it is not policy and the cashiers cant do that. Tonight I got a different answer. Im done with my local Walgreens and the selfrightous attitude I got tonight.

2022-03-22Josh Washington pharmacy tech at walgreens on Monroe was extremely rude and incompetent. He verified my date of birth, full name, address and last 4 digits of My phone number for each of us twice and I replied the same as the other for the last one. Then he told me maybe I shouldnt pick up my son and my medications at the same time anymore and laughed. He was inappropriate, rude and took an extra long time to send our medications and my credit card back out to us.

2022-02-19Was told 3 times that my inhaler would be available for pickup after certain times. The third and final time I came in I was told they were out and just ordered and now I have to wait at least 2 days for it. They should have just said that in the first place instead of lying about it. Was then told 2 days later that they were supposedly still waiting on the inhaler. When people want to pick up a prescription its because they actually need it...would highly recommend NOT using this pharmacy. I had my prescriptions transferred to CVS. All this Walgreens pharmacy does is lie.

2022-06-28They are not good with customers. They cant keep workers and too many problems. It says open at 6 am but didnt open until 8 am.

2021-10-25This is the absolute best pharmacy, things can get messed up by insurance, doctor offices, and the patient themselves, but none done intentionally.That said the staff at the pharmacy does the best they can to straighten out issues.The staff there at the pharmacy are professional and super to deal with!!!!

2020-09-27I probably go to this store at least, once a week. The underpaid, understaffed associates are friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is moderately good -- though casual observation shows they are swamped with orders. Still, the staff is courteous and helpful. Dont go if you are in a major hurry. The Im just going to run in and grab my prescription! approach has limited results.Overall its a decent store. Clean, well-stocked and orderly.If you seem to frequently have problems with customer service -- you try working with public sometime for a tiny paycheck. They deserve a break, or at least your patience.

2021-03-05I got my first vaccine scheduled but due to a computer problem it got messed up. I finally was sent to Walgreens on Clearlake for my first vaccine. I tried to schedule my second but would not go through. Went to Monroe Walgreens 5 times to tell them my problem. The fourth time someone in pharmacy gave me a phone number. Did not work. The fifth time a pharmacy tech told me I should not call that number because the lady calling has 300 people to call. Told her it was not my fault, but her company’s fault and they should fix it. I did not raise my voice nor be disrespectful. She told me if I did not calm down I should leave! Wow! Well that is the end of that place. Clearlake store employee did call me to schedule the second vaccine. Thanks to them.

2021-11-24Staff decided it was more important to help an unmasked customer dig a 2 liter of Dr pepper out of backstock than to have one of the 3 employees helping him check out the customers who were ready.

2020-07-03This was originally going to be a bad review, but the manager Scott and store manager Kim truly changed the experience around for me, and now I would recommend this store to anyone. I first ordered 3 wood wall hanging photos for Father’s Day on June 12th for Same Day service. The associate working photo called me and let me know that they had one wood hanging piece but the other two would take a few days. I said okay, and waited until June 20th to pick up in order to receive the order in time to give it as a gift for Fathers Day. I received an email that my order was complete on June 14th. On the 20th when I arrived, there was still only one hanging poster and therefore my gift for Father’s Day was left incomplete and truly not what I wanted to give. The manager, Scott, spoke with me that day and wrote down my information in order to fix the situation. He said he would call as soon as he got the wood pieces in. I called in on July 2nd to inquire if my order was complete, and I spoke with the store manager, Kim, who had me send in a new order to the store in order to fix the previous order. I went in the store on July 2nd and the employee behind the photo counter was extremely rude, acted as if I was wrong for requesting the order, and completely ignored me despite my request to speak to the manager. The employees attitude was HORRIBLE. Being 7 months pregnant, I cannot deal with ignorance at the moment. However, the manager, Scott, went out of his way to service me and fix my situation. I left happy and satisfied with his and store manager Kim’s immediate assistance and their ability to go above and beyond to fix the situation. I also left with two beautiful canvases which are above and beyond the quality I was looking for. I think the employee behind the photo counter tonight definitely needs an attitude adjustment, but your managers are above and beyond the best. I appreciate both of you beyond words can say. You definitely made this pregnant mama happy today. Thank you so much!

2019-08-05This is the Walgreens I always use and usually always have a great experience but today the pharmacy tech working in the drive thru was so unbelievably rude and seemed like she hated her job. They should have people working who can actually help you and don’t seem annoyed by a simple question. I was there at 3 pm today 8-3-19

2020-05-13Walgreens was good. But too expensive when Walmart came around+. Then Walgreens tried to out figure that. Went way bad (something to do with Boots Alliances). Now, seems its teetering; not sure which way they will go. In the mean time, both CVS and Walgreens cater (old peoples nicities and expensive)middle class older women who live on a fixed income and have limited range. seems some bad built in.
