Understaffed. Twice in a row, I was put on hold for 10 minutes, and then hung up on.
Completely inept Pharmacy department. Even my doctors office got the vibe that the folks working there dont want to do their jobs. Moved to a different Pharmacy to avoid incompetence/rudeness.
Multiple terrible experiences with this Walgreens. Numerous scripts lost and terrible customer service.
I came in Saturday afternoon to fill an RX. I spoke to Sara (pharmacy tech) and she told me it would be 15-20 minutes and they would page me. 30 minutes later I went back to the counter as no one had paged me. Ten minutes went by and no one even acknowledged I was there although I was in full view of the pharmacy tech Sara and the pharmacist. I finally asked if I should come back the next day. Sara explained that their dispensing machine was holding my medication hostage. They should have paged me at the 15 min mark and explained this to me. I wasted a ton of time. I came back the next day, stood at the counter and again was ignored for 10 minutes. This pharmacy needs to work on customer service. I wont use them again. Also, the place is absolutely filthy, an inch of dust on everything and it looks like they never clean their floors, counter tops, credit card machine or anything else. Bad news when it comes to virus and bacterial control.
Its convenient to downtown Libertyville, however the pharmacy always irritates me! The pharmacist himself is very kind(Al), however the rest of the pharmacy staff are a hit or miss. Ive had more bad days versus good days. The prices for their prescription medications are so ridiculously overpriced that I always end up asking for my prescription back and bring it to Marianos pharmacy and pay 1/3 the price! Its disappointing really! The Front End Staff are good but the cashier is always chewing gum🤔😂, it is a bit unprofessional if you ask me. The Managers and Elvira and Gina are very good though, always friendly!
Pharmacy service worst I’ve ever experienced. Hospital apparently didn’t type in prescription right and it wasn’t properly loaded to system. Okay I get that, we can fix it. But the guy working the front couldn’t have been more apathetic and said even if it came through wouldn’t be able to fill, though it was closing in 15 minutes. This was for my son with a major hand infection and we really needed help, let alone some degree of empathy. What a jerk!!! Never going to this location again.

Manager Elizabeth is extremely rude and disrespectful. Cashier Gina greets customers by saying “we’re closing in 10 minutes” Doesn’t seem like they want to make money if they are refusing service when using coupons or when making a late run.Very, very poor service. This store is definitely not what it was 3 years ago.
Very nice Walgreens and great service. Valerie always does a very nice job. She is very polite and curtious. My favorite walgreens by far.

It is impossible to get through to Pharmacy or any other specific department over the phone. Ive tried on several occasions for multiple hours.

2022-07-15Worst Walgreens to go to never will go there again. The lady who works there name jeans act like she’s the owner of the store and very rude and don’t know how to talk politely to customer. I hope management look into this.

2022-03-03This place sucks. Too busy. Staff are not friendly. They are not able to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. There are issues with not having supplies at the store either. Taking my business elsewhere. Understandably it is convenient because of a drive thru, but Marianos and Jewel are nicer and faster

2018-12-02🤠🤗✔️This Walgreens usually has the heavy-duty pain medications for cancer patients and accident victims. When most pharmacies are not carrying them anymore, this particular store usually has them in stock. When you have a cancer patient out of their medications, you know what I am talking about. its just merciful to be able to get the medications when you need them.⭐⭐⭐⭐

2021-11-21I am currently waiting for 20 minutes in line to purchase some allergy medicine. I asked politely if someone could help me purchase the zyrtec which is under lock and key. I was told that they are busy. When the pharmacist was able to help me she called the manager to unlock it for me. I told the manager what happened she shrugged her shoulders. I am hopeful this review will motivate leadership to make a change. You will continue to lose customers.

2021-10-25I chose Walgreens for my Covid booster shot because they offered appointments. I arrived a little early anticipating a form to fill out. There were at least 6-8 people waiting, some for injections, some for regular pharmacy help. Unfortunately, they were disorganized and inefficient. Those without appointments were taken first. Three staff spent quite a bit of time cleaning lots and lots of pens. They told 3 people before me that they needed to fill out forms that the customers had filled out already. They didn’t give me forms until I asked for them, and then they asked me to wait for them. The person who finally gave me my shot (which took less than 3 minutes) was pleasant and competent, but I wasn’t done until 6:10, almost an hour after my appointment time. I would not recommend going there for the advantage of having an appointment; it was useless.

2021-03-02Awful communication! Wasted hours transferring prescription to them, then called and was told they are out of stock and I must wait until they order it for me. Waited for a week, then got a call saying if not picked up my order will be canceled. Drove there to pick up the order, unfortunately for some reason they canceled it prior to me getting there, then I spent an hour waiting to get another approval from insurance to start the process all over. After spending an hour from 9 to 10 pm in their parking lot, I am returning home empty-handed.
