CVS in other cities:
In the middle of a blizzard with road conditions extremely dangerous, I drove to get a covid test. It took me 40 minutes for a normal 10 minute drive being extra careful with a newborn.CVS called me three times while I was driving and could not take call due to conditions. When I finally picked up, I received an attitude unlike any I’d expect given the conditions asking me where I was. When I mentioned I was 2-3 minutes away but it was slow going I was told that they may not give me a test.I finally did arrive 5 minutes past my time and that’s not a lie. There was no one else there to get a test and it had just snowed 8-10 inches.I was told that I missed my time and would not be receiving a test.I was 5 minutes late, in a blizzard, with a newborn in tow and the two workers had the compassion of the gestapo. When I explained my situation they said sorry it’s policy but you can come back in a couple hours (it’s snowing a blizzard).I will never shop at this company again and cannot believe the neglect for the conditions this company exhibitedThe two workers said it was “policy” that if late you can’t get a test and I get that during normal circumstances but in the middle of a blizzard I thought some decency would be allotted. It was not and in fact the workers appeared to get joy out of denying me.Avoid this store and company. I will never step foot in another of these stores and promise not a cent of my money will ever go here.Go Walgreens!
I made the mistake of transferring my prescriptions here when I moved. I still havent received them all yet and am on perpetual hold and then get disconnected when I try to talk to someone. Its actually absurd at this point. Its worth driving out of my way to stay where I was...is anyone interested in hearing what the hold loop recording is? It is an earworm that wont go away now. Shimita in the pharmacy is very rude. Also note that apparently there is no accountability for people that take your calls and tell you that prescriptions will be filled so be prepared for that so when they are not filled, its no ones fault. I hope the pharmacy supervisor, Lauren Hook is a patient person, she must get a lot of complaints.
The Pharmacy Techs are super nice and very pleasant; they have manners. The Pharmacist, however, is possibly the RUDEST and most unpleasant person Ive ever met in my whole life. She snapped at me for absolutely no reason when I very politely asked her a question, proceeded to berate me when I asked her why she was being rude, and quite frankly shouldnt be working with people if thats how she thinks its okay to speak to others. When I told the manager, he didnt even seem to care, and certainly didnt do much of anything about it. This CVS just lost my business; dont make the same mistake I did in spending your money at a store where certain staff are rude and the manager lets them get away with it.
I finally switched from this CVS after many years of frustrations and am so happy I did. The store itself is fine enough but the pharmacy always has issues as others have mentioned. The prescriptions either get lost or take double or triple the time than quoted. The staff is always impatient and does not care.
The pharmacy staff told me that they would try to send a transfer through the same day. I called back to cancel the transfer because I decided that I would pay out of pocket instead because I needed it right away. The pharmacist kept talking over me and then preceded to tell me that they were not putting the transfer through anyway. The pharmacist then hung up on me. It would have been nice to have gotten a phone call saying that they were not going to put the transfer through. If I would not of called I would still be waiting for a text from them saying that my script was filled.
Absolutely horrible. Pharmacy staff is unbelievably rude. Was on hold for 10 mins, a female answered the phone and went to check stock, 20 mins later a gentleman answered and asked what I wanted. I told him Ive been hold for over 20 mins for someone to check stock, and he said hold on, I asked please dont put me on a 20 min hold, and he replied maybe I will. Gentleman came back 10 mins later, stated in stock and hung up. Absolutely horrible. Gentlemans name was Dehruz. If he hates his job that much, he should find a new one.
Rudest pharmacy employees I have ever encountered. I came in today because I was having bad symptoms and was told I needed to know my blood pressure and they were the nearest place I could get that done ( I had to leave work to go here) and I was told I could speak to a doctor/pharmacist there and they could help me and figure out whats wrong. I walk up to the consultation counter of the pharmacy/clinic visibly shaking and wait about 10 minutes before I am even acknowledged (there were only 2 other people and they were in a different part of the counter) . The 3 women behind the counter (only one of them was helping the other 2 customers) are just staring at me and keep trying to not look at me. After about 10 minutes one of them yells from far away and says you need something? In such a rude voice. I had trouble speaking because of the condition I was in and you could tell I had trouble breathing but I told her I think I need my blood pressure taken and she points to the machine then goes back to ignoring me. I take my blood pressure and it says I have stage 2 hypertension (Im a 21 year old woman, this is not normal) I walk back up to the counter to get further assistance because my blood pressure has never been that high and I didnt know what to do. They continue to ignore me for another 10 minutes until the same woman yells again from the back of the counter you need something else?!?! In the same rude voice and sighs (she still has never even came up to the counter to talk to me face to face, she just kept yelling from where she was standing). I told her my blood pressure and said I didnt know what that means and what I should do and she said I was fine and went back to ignoring me... i stood there still shaking and shocked and walked out of the store... nobody cared I needed medical assistance. Never going there for ANYTHING ever again.
Came to pick up my son’s prescription. I had a coupon in my phone and wanted to use it. Young gentlemen who was taking care of my payment told me that he can’t process my discount because they have a lot of customers and if I want to use the discount I have to wait until they take care of other customers!! I’ve never heard of this before!! I am a customer too and was waiting for my turn and wanted to use my phone coupon, but had to pay full price because other customers were more important and in order to use my coupon I had to wait for them to be taken care of first. There were two other associates working and no one offered to help. I should have call manager, but I was shocked and just left. Terrible customer service!! I will complain to store manager!
I was annoyed that even after asking the pharmacist insisted that my insurance wouldnt cover a generic prescription. Went home and checked myself and it would have been covered. A costly mistake listening to them. Usually this is my favorite pharmacy, but Im not sure I will be back.
I went to the minute clinic looking for a chicken pox vaccine. Even though I registered online, there was still a lengthy wait. I found out they dont do the vaccine there since it needs refrigeration, and I was referred to an immediate care in the area. The address I was given for the office was incorrect, and once I found the correct location, the office would not do the vaccination since I am over 18. Definitely avoid this CVS location if you care about your health.

2020-01-11Not the friendliest CVS I’ve been to. They usually have most of the items in stock. The cashiers are either a hit or a miss. They also have Minute Clinic at this location. Also has a drive through pharmacy which is convenient.

2022-01-26Terrible pharmacist, S. Rude, dismissive and unconcerned. Given the vast number of options for pharmacies in the area, including Costco pharmacy just across the parking lot, Id definitely go somewhere else for Rx needs.

2022-01-30CVS is by far the worst pharmacy. It usually takes over a day to get prescriptions filled, they are very frequently out of common medications and don’t even have the decency to call you and let you know. I’ve had to call several times and ask why a prescription of mine says “in process” for 2 days just to find out it’s out of stock.

2021-12-25I came to pick my subscription just before the closing hours on eve of Christmas. This is the third pharmacy I am visiting after North Eola Rd, North Aurora Rd where I was informed that my prescription is not in stock. To my dismay the person at the drive through counter outrightly rejected to offer any help. “ALL SHE SAID WAS SIR WE ARE CLOSING IN 2 MINUTES, IT WILL TAKE 20 MINUTES TO FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTION, you might want to check the 24 hours Pharmacy” Did not expect such a pathetic Service. I was already in pain after the root canal treatment and now I have to stay with this horrible pain till I find my medicine, I wish people are compassionate enough to understand others pain and situation and be willing to help rather than sending them back saying “we have families we need to spend our Christmas, sorry I can’t fill your prescriptions”

2022-01-10The white girl that i dont know her name and the asian male pharmacist that works on the drive thru pharmacy are pathetically rude and immoral, the drive thru closes at 9 pm and i was in line at 8 :40 pm there was 3 cars ahead of me, when my turn came the white girl closed the light and locked everything and then looked at me as if i was nothing, i checked the time and it was 8 :59 pm, i took all of my families prescriptions to the walgreens on ogden& columbia and never regretted it, the pharmacist and the technicians all need to be fired because they are ruthless. Shame on you cvs!!!

2021-05-17Called to find out why the medication I didn’t need was refilled but the one submitted by my physician wasn’t, I was informed that the prescription was on file but I had to call to say I wanted it filled. This was different than it was for the past few years. The woman informed me that the process changed. How was I supposed to know that? I’d be more understanding but the complete rudeness from the moment the call was picked up tells me they don’t care. Maybe they are too busy; I’ll help them by transferring my business to another pharmacy.

2022-02-10Terrible call service (not the people the automated call response bs) it barely understands even the most basic words and adds an additional 20 mins to a call that would otherwise be 1 min after you sit and listen to the list of 10 unrelated options it spews out at you and after all that it just hangs up on you without connecting you to someone that can actually answer your question it’s a true step back in progress for mankind smh

2021-10-06Read the reviews besides just mine. You will then see that Shunita(the pharmacist) is the problem! Shes extremely rude and cvs should really consider getting rid of her and putting someone else in her position. Anyone will be better than her!
