The staff is very friendly. Dr. Kotis is awesome. Didn’t try to sell me on procedures I didn’t need, gave great realistic advice, and the end result was exactly as he explained. I really appreciated that I wasn’t “sold” on an outcome I wouldn’t achieve. That being said, the end results far exceeded my expectations. I got a mini tummy tuck, recovery was much easier and quicker than expected. The end result was better than I could have imagined. Super natural looking. I’m extremely satisfied with everything from initial consultation, to my final follow up. Not a single complaint. My friend was so impressed with my results just 2 weeks post op, she immediately scheduled a herself a full tummy tuck with breast implants. And she looks fantastic!! I went for many consults before deciding to use Dr. Kotis, and I was committed after my first meeting with him.
Absolutely amazing!!! Everyone at Dr. Lotus’s office is so kind and knowledgeable, they treat you like family and are always happy to answer all your questions and explain the whole process thoroughly. They make sure you are comfortable the whole way through, and they take the time to check up on you which I greatly appreciate.The cost very extremely reasonable and you’re provided with excellent payment options which is a huge plus!!I recently had abdominal liposuction. I did this under local anesthesia, and let me just say it was pretty painless the whole way though! The recovery was quick and easy and the results are absolutely outstanding! I cannot thank Dr. Kotis and his staff enough. 😊I could go on all day, but to sum it all up, I highly recommend you to pay Dr. Kotis a visit if you’re looking to get amazing results, he does not disappoint!!

Jasmine the coordinator helped start everything easily and quickly, Ivonne is an amazing nurse helped answer ALL my questions, And when you come in and leave you see Rose she always has a smile and helps me schedule all my appointments!! Im sure i didn’t mention all of the wonderful staff, but they are ALL super amazing. Of course Dr. Kotis is great the results are beyond what i expected and i expected perfection! Dr. Kotis is gifted caring surgeon who has helped me achieve my goals. He truly is concerned about his patients and listens carefully. I met with Dr. Kotis in early 2020 after meeting with other surgeons. I was impressed by his credentials, his staff and his wonderful “bedside matter”. He treats you like family.In May 2020 I had a mommy makeover which gave me back my waist, a flat belly and beautiful well portioned breast. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. Post-Op Dr. Kotis and his nursing staff were there to address my questions and concerns. They helped the healing process be as painless as possible. Continuing on my journey with Dr. Kotis, in November of 2020, he performed vertical Thigh plastic with inner and outer lipo. The results are amazing. I have always had “thunder thighs” no matter how hard I worked out. They always rubbed together. Well no more! They are absolutely beautiful Thanks to Dr. Kotis.
Let me just start off by saying how amazing the staff is. From the first visit I was treated like family, I look forward to my follow up visits. Now a little about doctor Kotis he is a great listener but also is great at explaining other option that may be better . From my experience I had a broad idea of what I wanted but this was my first procedure and I wasnt 100%. He helped me make my final decision and I couldnt be happier. Rapid recovery was a dream I had no pain post breast augmentation all I experienced was some pressure like soreness as if I had an intense workout at the gym. I am so beyond happy with my results. This was my first ever procedure and this office went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I tell everyone about how amazing my experience was.
I completed a post-op assignment for a patient of Dr Kotis, who had truly experienced a fast recovery within hours of the operation. Her procedure had remarkable results demonstrating Dr Kotis to be a highly skilled surgeon who provides a friendly active listening ear to his patients within a friendly professional clinical atmosphere. Considering this patient came from Canada it was such a pleasure to observe this operation as an outstanding success.
Highly recommend. I did a ton of online research to identify 3 surgeons that I wanted to meet with (paid consultations between $125-200 each). Dr Kotis was great, very professional from the first meeting. TBH - with other surgeons, I felt like I was in an infomercial… it was all about “model makeovers” as they showed results of 20-something models that had 8-pack abs, tons of Botox and injections, etc.Dr Kotis focused on age-appropriate procedures/results for me, using before/after results from other male patients my age/build; with realistic expectations. He never tried to “oversell” me… he even told me not to do things other surgeons recommended as I didn’t really need them. He said I could get the results I wanted with much less work. His prices were very competitive with the others.The results are AMAZING. I’m so happy I did this, I feel great about the way I look. Dr Kotis’ experience really shows when you see the results. I was surprised that the pain was far less than I expected. By the 2nd day, I was sore, but still able to go for a walk, run errands, etc.Overall, I’m thrilled with the results. This motivated me to start swimming 4x/week, workout with an trainer, and clean up my diet. Looking forward to summer beach season! :)
Dr. Kotis and staff are amazing. I had zero doubts in my mind about them doing my abdominoplasty after my consultation. They are all very professional and very upfront with things. I’m officially one week out from surgery and have recommended three friends go to the office to see them. I’m so glad I did this, and they made the process so much easier with taking their time explaining everything, sometimes twice to me, to make sure I understood everything. Love love love!

I had to been to a couple different doctors before I decided to go with Dr. Kotis and I am sooooo happy I did. I am 3 months post op on a breast augmentation and the girls are exactly what I asked for!!! And mine was a trickier surgery (Dr.Kotis and his brilliance might disagree, but based on how much more the other doctors wanted to charge me Im guessing it is a bit harder.) His bedside manner is awesome and his pricing is fair. I absolutely loved Jasmine (my point of contact at the office). She was compassionate, kind and didnt beat around the bush about any info. Rose their front desk person is the type of person that can make your day better! She is always ready with a smile and a warm welcome. I never felt like a patient there, I always felt like I was part of the group. I already suggested him as a surgeon to a friend! Could not be happier!!
Dr Kotis saved my hand from a GSW. I have a full functioning hand and fingers. His work was clean and he is very knowledgeable. You can tell he cares about his work and patients. He worked me and my situation and I am beyond grateful.
Dr. Kotis did an amazing job with my breast implants. Im a 47 year old mother of three and I always wished for a larger chest. R. Kotis and his staff are amazing. I went to Dr. Kotis to fix a botched surgery I had done elsewhere. He could have told me I needed another surgery to fix this. He instead let me know of a new method he could use that was less invasive (and less money) but it would fix my problem beautifully. He was right!! Im so happy I went to him. I will be going back if I need anything else done in the future. He is so kind , helpful and knowledgeable He fixed something I didnt think could be fixed. I am so happy I found him!!

He and his staff have made themselves available to answer any questions or concerned that I have had now that I have been at home recovering. I had a tummy tuck done by Dr. Kotis 8 weeks ago and it was one of the best things Ive ever done. At the initial consultation, Dr. Kotis took his time and made sure all of my questions were answered and concerns addressed. Every one on his team is warm and friendly, and they made sure that I was comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. Surgery day was smooth and I recovered well. Dr. Kotis even called to check in on me later that night. My post-operative care has been wonderful. Although there is obvious swelling, the results from this surgery are immediate and amazing, and it continues to look better every day... better than I ever imaged. Dr. Kotis is an incredible surgeon; he and his team made this whole experience so much better than I hoped! I am so happy with the results and I would recommend him to anyone.
Since the moment I met Dr.Kotis I loved him! Everything about him, his staff, facility, and work has been on point. I have no complaints. He is super helpful, smart and kind. Setting up a consultation was so simple and easy!!! When I submitted a request online, the office reached out to me the next day and they were so friendly! I scheduled my appointment which was an easy process and when I went in for my consultation the staff was very friendly and very nice. I felt very comfortable. I did extensive research before deciding to get a breast augmentation, and deciding which doctor to go to. I came across Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. John Kotis. He was one of the few doctors in the area who preformed breast augmentations using the rapid recovery technique. I decided to book my consultation. His office staff was warm and welcoming, and he did not hesitate to answer every question I had for him. I decide to book my procedure. Rapid recovery with Dr. Kotis was the best choice I could have made. Post op- no bruising, no surgical drains, and no need for narcotics. I was even able to lift my arms over my head and drive myself to my post op appointment the following day! If you’re looking to get a breast augmentation with minimal down time preformed by a great surgeon, I strongly suggest contacting his office!
Dr. Kotis did my breast augmentation. I went to him through a referral. I was so confused with what size I wanted. He took the time to help me figure out which size worked best for me (which took forever because Im very indecisive!). He was professional, nice, and made me feel so comfortable from the beginning! The day of my surgery, I was so nervous, the staff eased my anxiety and made me feel great! After my surgery, Dr. Kotis answered my called immediately with questions that I had. It has been such a pleasure working with Dr. Kotis and his staff. They are a perfect balance of personable and professional; I felt so comfortable with all of them. During my chin lipo and skin tightening procedures, they played my favorite music, constantly asked how I was doing, and reassured me that everything was going smoothly. My insecurities are no longer in existence I have been searching for the right person for many years to do a breast augmentation and I never settled for many reasons! Some would do work just to get that quick dollar others would do whatever you wanted with no feedback and one other made me feel super uncomfortable even standing there topless... I had a Mommy Make Over, and I am very pleased with the results. I was researching for quite a while and being a medical professional myself, I was very particular about each aspect of this process. Preop, surgery, post op was clean, professional, caring, precise. Results were more than expected. Price was fair and worth every dollar. If you want good work to be done then you have to pay for good work. If you wanna save money but get a cheap job done which you are not happy with or risk your life with a surgery then you have to find another surgeon because Dr. Kotis is one of the best plastic surgeons in Illinois. The only regret I have is that I should of done that surgery a long time ago. My pain was taken care off with excellent pain management. No bruising, incision is healing amazingly, implants naturally beautiful. Surgery went very well and surgical team worked together safe and professional. Anesthesia RN very knowledgeable. Christina Kotis very caring, knowledgeable and pleasant, Dr Kotis was excellent, knowledgeable, pleasant, precise, caring. His work is his pride and he lets it show in the results. Back in 2013 I underwent gastric sleeve surgery. I lost 140 pounds which left quite a lot of skin in my stomach area. I made the decision to have abdominoplasty surgery (tummy tuck) to remove this skin. I consulted several doctors in my journey for this surgery. I chose Dr. Kotis to do my surgery for several reasons. First, I read many good reviews on line for Dr. Kotis. Second, his staff was very nice and helpful on the phone and in the office. They made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Kotis was extremely nice and also made me feel comfortable. I was extremely nervous about getting this done. He put my mind at ease instantly. He was very thorough when explaining the procedure and answering my many questions. He really felt I would be a great candidate for the surgery. He was right. I am very happy with my results. This surgery has greatly helped my self esteem. I would recommend Dr. Kotis to anyone. He is a nice person and does a great job.

Dr. Kotis and his staff are by the far the best medical professionals I have ever came across. I, myself, work within the medical field and I must say they exceeded my expectations significantly! I was so impressed from start to finish. Dr. Kotis is so professional and so knowledgeable about everything. I had a procedure done at the end of March. The healing was a breeze! The first day was a little rough but the next day I felt great. I even drove myself to my appointment the next day, which is a big deal due to me living an hour away from the clinic. I never took any of the pain medicine that he prescribed. I took about 3 naproxen (similar to ibuprofen) total over the course of my healing. He did amazing! I am so so happy with my results! Thank you Dr. Kotis for being so professional and so amazing at what you do! And thank you to your staff for being so friendly and making me feel so comfortable through the whole process!

Dr. Kotis & his staff are extremely professional & willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. My first surgery for breast augmentation was in 2010 and didnt think that 5 years later I would have to return due to a collapsed implant that was detected in my mammogram. Dr. Kotis got me in right away for a replacement & contacted the manufacturer immediately to inform them. He hadnt experienced this before with this particular saline implant & was concerned for me & my well being. His follow up after the surgery was excellent and his staff even reached out to me to check in to make sure I was doing well. I highly recommend Dr. Kotis.

Today was the first time in nine days that I took my binder off and really looked at my tummy tuck and lypo results. Truthfully, the results exceeded my expectations. Dr. Kotis, you are artful and truthful. You tried to tell me how good I would look, but I was silently skeptical. I am so glad to be done with hauling that kangaroo pouch around! A simple review cannot do justice for what Dr. Kotis and his staff did for me. I was injured in a freak work accident and lost part of my finger. I was in a very bad situation, could not work, was not covered by insurance, and dealing with an unresponsive business owner who was not forthcoming with his insurance. Dr. Kotis went and above and beyond, taking my case very personally. He was instrumental in getting the aforementioned business owner to come forward and do the right thing.Dr. Kotis was the only person to make me feel confident and comfortable during a very scary and difficult time. His knowledge and skills are extensive, and his rapport is phenomenal. The surgery was not simple, and he had very little to work with. Within six weeks after the operation, I had regained 100% use of my hand. I am very grateful I elected to have Dr. Kotis perform the operation.Youd be hard pressed to find a surgeon with the experience and natural talent of Dr. Kotis, and I doubt youd find any with the level of compassion.

Dr. Kotis and his staff were great. I had an accident which led to my right thumb getting crushed. Dr. Kotis was able to quickly setup and perform surgery on my thumb, which was a success. He then set me up with physical therapy appointments. Im happy with the results, and my overall experience was comfortable and relaxing.

Dr. Kotis and his staff are awesome! I injured my finger at work were I sliced the skin off a knuckle to which my bone was exposed. This had me very worried, but his personality, experience and the fact he told me he would treat me like his own son comforted me. He was able to stitch my wound closed and treat it, when other doctors said it had to just heal it self. Having this injury go through my employers insurance was a complete hassle, and his staff took care of everything. They made the phone calls, the paperwork and everything else so I did not have to worry about it. They made my situation so much better. Dr. Kotis never left the room without making sure he answered all my questions. I cannot thank him and his staff enough. I highly recommend Dr. Kotis!

My experience with Dr. Kotis and his staff has been fantastic! I had a breathing problem related to a deviated septum that was causing sleeping problems for my wife and me (snoring and sleep apneia). Dr. Kotis advised septoplasty to correct the deviated septum. I going on 3 weeks post surgery and the results have been impressive! I have so much more energy that I am not napping during the day. I had no bruising around the eyes and the only discomfort was about one day post surgery with the packing in my nostrils. Following the removal of the packing my post surgery recovery was a breeze. I must say that the staff worked with me and my insurance company on getting the approval for the surgery. Working with my insurance company was the most challenging ordeal that I had to endure. I see Dr. Kotis in about 3 months for a follow up and I am expecting an excellent visit with him. I cant say enough about how happy I am with Dr. Kotis and his staff in Arlington Heights, IL
From John Wallner,Dr. Kotis has helped me on 3 occasions with medical procedures. Most recently to correct a deviated septum. Each time, his and his staffs care has been excellent! The results have been great! He is easy to relate to and interested in his patients as real people. This is a rare quality in my experience. My husband and I have both had the pleasure of utilizing Dr. Kotis services and are quite pleased with our results. My husband lacerated his ligiment in his arm requiring surgery. Dr. Kotis was THE SURGERON the hospital highly recommended. We were very frightened at the prospect of my husband losing function in his right hand and finger. Great experience! Dr. Kotis was professional, knowledgable, and caring.He patiently explained the options after acurately diagnosing the symptons I was having with my hand. I chose surgery and was pleased with the entire process. Everything I needed to know was accurately explained for pre and post surgery. Dr. Kotis performed surgery on my fifth metacarpal for a comminuted fracture. His bedside manner as well as surgical skills were incredible. From first meeting Dr. Kotis, I always felt comfortable. He thoroughly explained the procedure as well as the proposed and likely recovery schedule. I would recommend Dr. Kotis to anyone looking for hand work to be done, from my own personal experience.
Was treated here for my fractured fingers back in the Summer of 16. The Staff & Dr. J Kotis did a wonderful job taking care of me. He also did an amazing work with my surgery. One of the nicest & best doctor Ive seen in a while.
I came to Dr. Kotis because I needed a tumor removed from my back. The surgery was performed and the tumor removed successfully . He sent it in for a 2nd biopsy (first biopsy was just a few small snips and was done at the dermatologist). Because he wanted to be exactly sure what it was by performing a 2nd biopsy he possibly saved my life. It turned out to be an extremely rare tumor (356 Americans diagnosed with it yearly, so 1/1,000,000) and immediately upon receiving the biopsy results, he himself made phone calls to the best specialists at Northwestern in Chicago. Later the same day, Northwestern called me and we scheduled an MRI to be performed (looking for any tumor cells Dr. Kotis missed) and appointments made with 3 specialists. As a former practice manager for another surgeon, this blew me away. Most of the time they just give referrals and the patient gets everything set up. Not Dr. Kotis. He called and got the ball rolling while I was in his office. I was overwhelmed with thoughts and emotion and he was phenomenal. He also answered any questions I had and even helped keep my hyperactive mom calm during the surgeries (even at 34 and married, mom still had to go lol). Top notch doctor with exceptional bedside manner. Beyond that, he is genuinely caring and truly wants the best outcome for me (he asked me to please have the Northwestern doctors share the results with him, which I will gladly do). Ive been in the medical field for 15 years and I can count on one hand the number of doctors that are as wonderful and personable as Dr. Kotis.Now for the appointments and his Staff:Appointments- everything was on time. Another rarity in the world of Doctors.Staff- The best way to describe them (Sue, Elena, Zana) is the gold standard. They were not only pleasant, but they also showed genuine compassion and were extremely warm and welcoming. They were all smiling and were happy to be there. Id hire any on of them to work for me in a heartbeat.Not only will I be using Dr. Kotis should I have any other cosmetic/reconstructive surgeries that are required, but I will be referring anyone that is in need of one to him. Everything was top notch!!!
I had a BA and lift down by Dr. Kotis. He took his time to explain the procedure and answer ALL the questions. He truly treats his patients like a family. Unfortunately I was not satisfied with the end result. Spitting sutures left ugly, rough scars.
My breasts were uneven in size, from the collar bone to the nipple there was a 5cm difference between each side! My one breast sagged and needed a lift, while the other had a tubular component that needed to be scored. I had such a discrepancy between my breasts; however, Dr.Kotis gave me a result that is as close to perfect as my breasts can get. I received the lift, scoring, and implants. The procedure, healing, and office visits were made extremely comfortable by Dr.Kotis, I couldnt have asked for a better surgeon. Everybody in the office always tried to accommodate me and made every phone call and visit amazing as well. I am amazed and more than happy with my result!!!
On August 22, 2014 I severely lacerated the tip of my right thumb on a meat cutter at my place of employment. I was immediately taken to Northwest Community Hospital where I was evaluated. Fortunately I did not cut down to the bone however I did cut into an artery. They determined I needed surgery and I was sent to The Center of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Center in Arlington Heights where Dr John Kotis and his team were waiting for me. Upon arrival his staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed when I was feeling pain and anxiety. I remember waiting for a brief period to see Dr Kotis before surgery and I noticed a phrase on his office wall that said, I treat my patients like I would treat my own family. When Dr Kotis arrived into the surgical room to see me he explained thoroughly what he was going to do. He unwrapped my thumb and I saw it didnt look good. I remember feeling worried and he saw that I looked worried and I remember his words before I was put under anesthesia. He said, Dont worry Brian, I am going to fix you. I remember waking up and seeing my thumb wrapped up again. The surgery was a success. He wound up amputating just a touch of my thumb so he could pull the skin over and he repaired my thumb nail in the process. I thought I wouldnt be able to keep my nail but to my amazement he was able to save it. After surgery Dr Kotis set me up with one of his top hand therapists in the country. After about two months of therapy I was completey released and able to return to full work duty. My right thumb that I severely injured looks the same as my left. I place them side by side and they look exactly the same size. Dr John A Kotis and his team are consummate professionals and I HIGHLY recommend them. He truly made me feel like I was part of his family.

I chose Dr. Kotis as my surgeon for my abdominoplasty for multiple reasons. First of which was his surgical pictures. He didnt have pictures of size 2 women looking to remove a very small imperfection. He had women with decent sized stomachs that needed major work. Secondly, my consultation visit was great. I felt as though he had blocked out sufficient time to talk about everything necessary and important regarding the surgery. Pre-op day was the same all questions were answered. However the proof is really shown in the surgery. A tummy tuck is no small surgery. I felt as though he really exceeded my expectations. I went from having extreme excess skin and distention of the stomach muscles to having a flatter stomach than most of my thin friends. (Im a size 10/12). The scar he left me with is nothing more than a very fine line that Im sure I wont even be able to see in a year or so. Ive seen some horrific scars online, my scar is by far the most delicate and flat Ive seen. I highly recommend Dr. Kotis and his staff. You will not be disappointed.

Dr kotis a worse doctor I saw in all of my life, he doesnt have any experience, he performed to me 3 months ago dimples plasty and he gave to me a guarantee about success and he said you will get a finally results after 3 months then when the 3 months finish my dimples is Disappeared and I have avery ugly scare and numbness and I spoke with him about that he ignored me.

Never in my life will i reccomend someone like this character. i had made an consultation to see him. he quoted me one price. He then asked me about my insurance plan if i have copays or not. I told him no and i have a high deductible(so nothing will be covered at time of visit plus he is out of network). He then gave me a negotiated rate on the office visit. I paid the negotiated rate. Afew months later i get a call from the collection agency telling me i owe him an additional $180.. he then proceeded to tell me inusrance didnt cover anything. Little did he know i KNOW my own insurance plan.I sold myself the policy( i sell health insurance). I have been fighting with his office and the collection agency to get this off my credit report for over 2 years NOW. I DO NOT reccommend someone who has such business practices. So now that sits and waits on my credit report beiing used against me for any credit i apply for. DO NOT go to this doctor.

This is most unprofessional physician I have seen in my entire life, I took my 2 years old son to him for a finger injury and they dont even have a good nurse to pack the wound properly and the poor boy suffered in pain for 2 days, later I took him to my his primary physician to repack the wounded area and fixed his pain, I WOULD NEVER EVER take my son to this Dr John A Kotis for any treatment in the future.

2021-11-20I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Kotis and couldnt have had a better experience. Everyone on staff was lovely and extremely respectful. I was given and talked through multiple finance options. Dr. Kotis is amazing and made me feel very comfortable and confident with my choice in surgeon. I felt very taken care of and talked through with every step. And I am way way more than happy with my results.

2022-04-02Just visited for the first time, as aesthetic nurse practitioner Keely Allen just moved there and I’d been seeing her for years — can’t and won’t go to anyone else! I absolutely adore Keely and trust her completely. It can be scary starting Botox and/or filler. I’m completely neurotic and didn’t want to overdue anything or even look like I had anything done. Keely is extremely knowledgeable. From the first visit I felt at ease and the results are perfect — exactly what I wanted. She’s an incredible human with an amazing talent and bedside manner. If I could give her ten stars I would.

2021-12-23I went to Dr. Kotis with no self esteem and nervous to have major surgery. From the time of my consultation I knew I was in the right hands. The entire staff including Dr. Kotis were so kind and treated my husband and I like family. December 8, 2021 I had a Mommy Makeover that consisted of a extended tummy tuck, 360 liposuction, monsplasty, breast lift and augmentation. I felt 100% supported by Dr. Kotis and his staff through the entire process and I could not be happier with the results thus far. I am only two weeks out from my surgery, so I am still really swollen and sore, but so excited about my new look. I will come back for all my other aesthetic needs in the future and definitely recommend Dr. Kotis to all my friends and family.

2022-02-23After having 3 babies wreak havoc on my body, I add extra skin and stretch marks, that were always embarrassing for me. I was referred to Dr. Kotis by a friend who is in the medical field. This was a hard decision for me, but after my first consultation I knew immediately it was the right decision for me. Dr. Kotis and his team have been amazing every step of the way, from appointments, to surgery , to post op! I had a full tummy tuck, and the results have beyond my expectations.

2022-03-22I had my nose broken at work. I went to my ENT doctor who botched my nose and it was difficult for me to breathe. I made an appointment with Doctor Kotis for a 2nd opinion and he clearly saw that something wasnt right. He was very attentive, kind and professional throughout the whole process and I couldnt be happier recommending people to Dr Kotis for their surgical/cosmetic needs!!!!

2021-06-11I absolutely love my results of my breast augmentation. I am 6 weeks out and feel completely back to myself, but better!
