Management is a big Plus. Ms. Kim runs that store well and her employees really put the enjoyment in shopping there. They are professional, courteous,assisting and welcome you with a great big smile in their voice. Its management and the workers that make the store worth shopping at.
All Dollar Tree stores arent the same some have some things the other ones dont ,so if you see something you like dont hesitate buy it cause it might not be there later!
My experience was great. They need to have items in stock and maybe expand the store. Sell more food items and bath accessories. Just have more of everything. Like the other dollar trees.

Obviously the people leaving these comments work here, this place is never fully stocked the managers are definitely not on there job, the workers are nice but they never have anything for weeks at a time even have to put your items in garbage bags from time to time.
Never can find to much.the store is never stocked always have stuff in the isles in the box.very nasty manager.
Store is not kept up. The carpet was dirty then there was a BIG RAT running thru the store like he owns the store.

2022-04-24The items I purchased were marked 1 dollar. I was charged 1.25 for each item. When I questioned the cashier she said everything is clearly marked. I told her it was marked 1 dollar. After she over charged me I went and brought the posted price back to the cashier. She ignored me twice when I tried to get her attention. Then she looked and said. Yeah I understand that. Made no attempt to reimburse me and continued with other customers. If everything is 1.25 at the DOLLAR tree, then EVERYTHING should show that price. Will never go back to that location. False advertising and rude staff.

2021-08-20Im very happy with the staff. I had an event in late July and needed to purchase a few items. Since they were so heavy, an employee named Lawrence (I think thats how you spell it) helped me carry all the stuff yo my car out of his own free will. I told him since I didnt have cash on me I couldnt tip him so instead I would leave a positive review just for him. Thanks again!

2021-11-15This dollar tree is so horrible now. There is a worker there, she has tattoos and piercings and she absolutely horrible. It has been twice already where she has literally yelled at me and other costumers. She is so rude its so embarrassing. If you dont like it there please leave. She constantly gets into arguments with the costumers. I went a couple of days ago and she was yelling at the costumers telling us “yall better not come to my register” because she had to go on break while her coworker has 12+ people in her line. She also cussed at the lady she was checking out for coming to her register. I try to avoid coming here now because of how rude and ghetto it is. She NEEDS to be fired asap...

2021-03-28This particular location in Calumet City on Sibley Blvd is horrible. The store looks bad in every way. Low stock in most areas and very unorganized. Sort of dirty looking appearance too. Probably need to hire more employees.

2017-05-02The store in general... good. Same as when it was DEALS. Good prices and products good. I was there a few weeks ago and my son.. a 1 year old.. yes young and TIRED at the time had a balloon we paid for let it go to the ceiling.. so my husband said to my daughter get another one... she did.. and he let it go again .. in the end he let the 2 go and my husband wanted him to have one...so the cashier was trying to seem nice but she wasnt and said I know he is a baby but thats 2 balloons... well my husband said Ill pay for THEM...and he did..3 of them..and we only left with 1... Im just writing this because we still have the 3rd balloon thats still perfectly fine with air and I know the store doesnt still have them on the ceiling.. Im sure they got their ladder out and got them down and resold the balloons.. rude cashier .. in my opinion

2020-05-23Shelves empty for essentials and very bad Customer Service. Line was 18 people deep on my last visit w/1 Cashier open. The other was inflating ballons. I know there must be in office behind the mirror that can and should open up to assist in peak periods. Smh.

2019-02-16This has got to be the BEST experience I have ever had at a Dollar Tree and I dont frequent the stores. The Male cashier right now just made the entire store laugh and it was great!!! Hes observant, friendly, very respectful and has the best sense of humor on a cold and cloudy Saturday afternoon. I cant say Id drive 45min to get to this location when I need something quick, but Ill say when Im in this area again, I hope hes there because he will turn your frown upside down. I wish him the very best in all that he does in life. Whoever hired him, kudos to you!!!!!I just have to share what we all thought was so hilarious:Dollar tree:Cashier: pull your card out sir, the machine frozeCustomer: **pulls card out** shows it to cashierCashier: Bulls credit card?!...no wonder your card didnt work

2017-07-20This Dollar Store do not have items filled on the shelves, the shelves are always empty or not at all there Not enough employees to handle the customers. Its not that I dont like this dollar store it is it has fell through since the original opening date and its very unfair because it does a lot of customer business.
