My go to place to find various things I probably dont need. Although everything is a dollar, its so easy to run up a check.
Love it ..it carries alot of items not available at other tree stores..found alot of cleaning items at a very very reasonable price..
I witnessed a shop lifter and when I mentioned it to the cashier, she said its only a dollar, a pair of reading glasses and something else I couldnt make out of not paid for.

You can get lot of home stuff that does not neccessarily need to be fancy looking and saves you a great deal of money. Like kitchen cloths or jars for your pantry. Its great for its value no frills kinda stuff.
Employees hate their jobs here, are rude and will argue with you if you make a comment about lines being way to long. Always super crowded, only one lane open and products are always out of place.
Just went there (november 24 @ 4:15 pm) young girl named britney i believe had a serious attitude and was overall rude to me and my family.
Went in for a quick snack. I bought a big bag of animal crackers (enough for me and 3 growing boys) and an Arizona Iced Tea. It was cheap and my wallet was happy.
This is a nicely organized store. I like that Dollar Tree is carrying more USA made products. I get all my cleaning products there. Saves lots of money!
Im outside the store at 945pm. it says they close at 10pm tonight but they have the door locked already with an employee standing by the register with his coat on and two other employees getting ready to leave.

Went in looking for neutral baby shower bags, and they tend to have colors that are considered more feminine.
They had many items that I was looking for and even stuff I didnt. There were long lines to check out.
They have a great selection of things that you need. However they always have lines that are really backed up so if youre in a hurry this is not the place for you

2022-05-30Stood at register for 5 mins the older white lady with glasses then came up didnt acknowledge me I said ty twice and no response. Just ignorant. If you dont like your job then go somewhere else.. you are in customer service. Dont recommend

2021-11-06I feel like this is the bottom of the barrel.for dollar trees I only go if I absolutely have to. Super understaffed and the staff thats there is super miserable. And the shelves are basically empty. Idk if it because Im used to Geneva and st. Charles but the Elgin one needs a serious reality check.

2020-11-29I was there a few days ago to just browse and see what they had. I was ready to check out and the line was getting a little long, the one cashier was a bit slow but a second cashier had opened up to help move the line along. She was fast, efficient and very nice. The cashiers name on the receipt said Brittany and we also appreciated her answering our questions on some of the Christmas items they had in the store. All in all a good experience since we usually go to dollar general but we just stopped by out of convenience on our way home. Will be coming in soon now that we know we can get some things for stocking stuffers especially for my younger kids!

2021-01-09Best Dollar Tree Ive been to in the Chicago area! Its the largest and cleanest. Besides the usual findings of every Dollar Tree, this one has a great and large craft section. The store is very well organized which is probably a reflection of staff and management.

2020-07-09The Dollar Tree is fun. The lines usually arent very long. You can pick up fast items there that you really need for the house. The people are very friendly. You can pick up office supplies. An art supplies. Books. All kinds of wonderful yummy treats. I feel this not a please for grocery shopping. But if you dont have a lot of money its a good place for getting Essentials. My favorite part is you can buy one-of-a-kind items there. My suggestion if you find something you really like Buy It Now. Because a lot of things they have are one of a Time items. Which means if you dont buy them now. You wont get them later. Because they may never have them again. I love the store. Its a good to find inexpensive Pharmaceutical items. Also its a fun place to just play. Plus if you need it you can go in and get cold water on the Run. If youre jogging. I love this store.

2020-12-01Went here instead of the grocery store, got items on my list..Reasonable cleanliness, shelves were stocked, quick on opening a register.Did not see rubbing alcohol so I will just order it online
