Store was not very organized items all over and needed put away. Could not hardly find what I was looking for it was not where it belonged. Spent about 20 minutes looking before finally giving up and going to a different store.
Decent inventory and prices but lots of boxes and product blocking aisles and almost no ability to handle a backup at the checkouts.
Good service and good employees I go there often its the best Dollar General in the city to go, they have mostly everything that you need < and VERY organized store!!
I absolutely LOVE this store. Everything is easy to find and low priced and aisles are organized too.
Its a great store..but it says it closes at 9pm. When I went to the door at 8:45pm it was already closed for the night. Whats up with that?
Never have been a big fan of this store because its not a true dollar store. I do go there for certain items that I can get cheaper then other stores.
Didnt find exactly what I wanted but pretty close. Got in and out so I cant get mad or complain. Overall a good experience.
Its not clean. The staff, including manager has no concern about customers over hearing their language. It wasnt professional.

Place needs a scrub..on floors and all shelves. Other than that decently stocked.
Crowded lanes. Items are hardly ever put away. Too close of isles and always crowded with merchandise. Slow cashiers that are unknowing of registers.

2019-10-23I shop here for literally EVERYTHING!! I love all the sales they always have and if you shop right you can find pennied out items that are only one cent per item!!!! I know one woman who bought two FULL to the brim carts of things and she spent like 6 bucks it was AMAZING!!

2019-10-18With the transfer of the Manager during the summer, this store has turned into a disaster. Product not put away and many items just not stocked anymore. Walking around product boxes or isles blocked by boxes is the normal thing right now. Even the milk section is completely empty. Whats going on there? I travel to the new store on south Main which is further away but worth the time. Hope the problem at Oakland will be corrected.

2018-10-29I would love to work there and clean it up. We were there and product was laying on the floor. This was the plush big bears for 30 dollars . Who wants to buy something like that when they are just laying on the floor. When the store first open we went there because it was alot cleaner than the other ones. Now it falls right into place with the others.

2020-11-10High priced, 3rd rate goods. If you dont have any other choice, this place will do. If youre looking for something a little cheaper than the big department stores, you might find it here. Would recommend other $1 store options before this.

2019-05-14The store manager is extremely rude and lazy, he refuses to wear a name badge or give out his name, I can honestly say I’ve never ran across someone who manages a retail store so rude and lazy, I called another store to get the corporate number because he refused to provide it to me. I hope his boss takes my complaint seriously. I’ll never step foot in that store as long as he is manager.

2018-11-22On ocassions when I need something random and I dont want to deal with Wal-Mart I go to Dollar General. They have everything! When I have time to kill I enjoy roaming the isles. Get a cold drink at the front door and just walk the throughout the entire store. I dont want to miss anything. Do you need erasers? They got them. Do pony stickers? They have those too. Random!

2018-09-25Basically felt a manager acused me of saying an item was outside on a sales rack when it wasnt! Very rude customer service. Just didnt want the item if it wasnt on sale. Didnt ask or insist that they give me the item on sale, just didnt want it if it wasnt on sale. Wont be back there. I have enough money I dont have to try and scam to get things on sale!
