I was a new patient. I called this morning and they got me in 2hrs later. Ive never had a doctors office get me in so quick as a new patient. When I arrived I was shocked at how gorgeous the office is! The decor is beautiful. The receptionist was very kind.I was brought in on time, and seen very quickly by Doctor Andrew Johnson, the nurse and physician assistant. All 3 were very kind, helpful in answering my questions and made me feel good about the whole appointment. Im pregnant, so I was nervous about the meds and procedure. They took the time to discuss the pros and cons of everything and educated me on what was and wasnt safe. I felt confident leaving the appointment knowing myself and my baby were safe! Would definitely recommend them!

I had a body scan done. I thought I was going to be a bit uncomfortable. It was amazing. Not uncomfortable at all. I scheduled another for a yr from now and will continue this annually.Dr Johnson is amazing and so is his asst Mira.They are a great team!I went to the Bolingbrook location.Make your appointment!!!

I had been on a waitlist to see a dermatologist for two months. I saw the tv commercial for Derick Dermatology and decided to give them a call. I was able to see a dermatologist the very next day. The establishment was super clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was amazing. They were very caring, professional and respected my condition and privacy. I was so impressed and glad I called them. I would highly recommend them if youre in need of a dermatologist.

Go elsewhere! Staff can’t be trusted.I went in for acne treatment for the first time and her nurse convinced me to come back in for a skin cancer screening. She said insurance covers it because it’s a preventative care. Well, it turns out it’s not covered. I just got two bills adding over $550 for 4 sharpie tip size spots. I still don’t have results and it’s been 3 weeks. I’m assuming no news is good news at this point.I recommend Dr Stefani, but I don’t recommend her staff. I trusted her nurse who was wrong about this procedure being covered, I won’t be coming back.Update:I called my insurance they said it would’ve been covered if they put that in as a routine exam, but they billed it as an illness. They said to call doctors office to have them change it because it is preventative. I don’t have any illness or symptoms.So I called their office. They said it was covered, but the second they cut or scrape anything out and biopsy is when it was no longer covered. I asked them to change it because it should’ve been covered, the insurance says if I went in having no symptoms or illness and going to the doctor for an exam that is preventative then it should’ve gone through as exam. They said no, they won’t change it.This is very deceiving. Wish the nurse didn’t say anything at all!! I never had a screening before, this was my first time and won’t be doing it again nor will I ever come back here. Two stars just went down to 1.Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

I had what I thought was athletes foot and had treated it with topical over the counter products. My family doctor added oral medication. When It did not improve I went to Kimberly Clark for a second opinion. She correctly diagnosed it as psoriasis. She also did a total body exam and found a suspicious area under my hair. Shen sent me in for a biopsy the same day. It came back as a malignant melanoma. Since it was caught early I have an excellent chance of survival. HER THOROUGHNESS IN LOOKING FOR PROBLEMS T0TALLY UNRELATED FOR THE REASON i CAME IN MAY HAVE SAVED MY LIFE!

Caring, concerned and helpful staff. Not just in out and youre done. You are treated like you are their favorite client and above all, a friend. I am so happy I found this dermatologist. It is the 3rd one I have been to and what a difference in the procedures, tests and long term plan. Love the staff at Derick Dermatology-Bolingbrook!

Told the cost of the bill, confirmed that the amount was total. I paid it, then received a $300 bill. Also, I was told the moles were benign, but received nothing in paper, just someones word
