This place would be great if it didn’t discriminate against women. Women have been kicked out multiple times for not following the “dress code” that isn’t posted or talked about anywhere in the facility, while men are apparently more than welcome to wear cutoff shirts or just go completely shirtless. This is completely unacceptable. Y’all gotta figure out how to treat people equally if you want people to come back consistently. Either don’t kick people out for showing an inch of midriff or start kicking out men for not following the “dress code”. Absolutely ridiculous.
This place is the motherboard of all places to visit to be any sort of athlete. Has all the basic necessities you really need! Although it is a great place the workers are somewhat rude, from my experiences and people Ive known and witnessed being pressed. I would only recommend for sport events and harshly training.
I only joined to use the track and a few days after joining the track is now closed Tuesday-Thursday during the hours I can use it. I’m in my 9th month of pregnancy and my stomach hits the handles when trying to use the treadmill. I wish I would have known when I joined.
I have grown to love the DISC. I spend a lot of time walking the track in the main gym, and lifting weights in the fitness center. There are a decent variety of cardio equipment and Nautilus style machines as well as free weights. Everyone seems supportive and the staff is generally pretty friendly.
Went here to watch my friends son play soccer! Very nice and clean facility! Friendly, helpful employees!

I paid for a 1yr membership so Im definitely going to finish it, but I dont think I will renew it. They are not as friendly once you are locked in. The equipment is ok it breaks down alot and they are not quick to repair
As soon as I walked in I was greeted with warm and friendly staff. They walk me through the facility let me know but was available to me gave me information about a lot of different things. This is a great area and place to go for grownups or even for little

There are some issues that deal with using the facility for its purposes... moreover the DISC is disrespectful that is a fair review considering I cant leave it with Zero Stars. Ive had my problems in the past with the outrageous bureaucracy and utter tyranny. We have been mocked shamed ostracized and utterly disrespected in the lay of waste higher employment at is the Disc. No other place have I felt like a victim of society pushed down and spat on like the lifeless grub I was portrayed as.
Great activity place. Ran by the Decatur Park District they offer all kinds of sports activities for children. Membership can be a little expensive but you dont have to be a member to sign up for kids activities.
Delany front desk worker is verrrrryyyy rude.
Two words. Two syllables. Eight letters. NERF WARS. But also a ton of other exciting things to do. If youre visiting Decatur and need a space for an event, check it out. If you live in or around Decatur getting a membership is a no brainer.
The staff here is always smiling and friendly. My kids love the sports that they offer as well as the summer camp too.

Fun place
Placing a new wall in the outfield, new styles of fence and technical advances are allowing new ways of safety. Building a new facility is good for the sport and spectators.
My friends and I went to play basketball and were told that the courts weren’t open for another hour. We then waited for the hour and came back and asked and was told we still couldn’t play because we needed a parent to sign even if we just wanted to play basketball for maybe an hour. Waste of time, waste of money, horrible attitudes and never going back.
A friend of mine was asked to leave your facility because a sliver...a SLIVER...or her stomach was showing. absolutely ridiculous. either take away the double standards or im taking away my business

Attended a training session at this facility, and am from out of town. Appears to be a good facility with multiple fields and options, but could use some update as it is showing a little wear.
The disc kicked someone out today for wearing a shirt that showed less than an inch of her stomach, meanwhile men work out shirtless or with shirts that show much more than that. Hypocritical and sexist.
Nice place, price was good but very warm. Had to keep going out of room due to getting hot.

2021-07-16Great fitness center! I have utilized them a lot over the years. Staff are friendly and very helpful, their indoor track is amazing, and they have updated a lot of their machines/interior design. My only wish is that they would get a pool!

2021-11-06Ive been walking on the indoor track for a few weeks. Not super crowded and the staff are very friendly but not so friendly its annoying. (Personal preference if you can relate. Lol) so yeah, I will keep coming back.

2021-11-03Loved it. They have pickleball !!!!. Soft courts. Its not hardwood or concrete. Wont kill your knees. $4. Super friendly folks

2021-10-26We went rock climimbing here. After calling to make sure they would be open for rock climbing, we were told to come back later when we showed up because they were having a Halloween event. We came back later and got in right away. Approximately $8 to climb as a guest wasnt bad and staff was super friendly once you get past the front desk. All in all, we had a great time!

2020-03-07I have mixed feelings about the disc. The dance studio floors are almost always incredibly dirty. The staff is kind to people who live in decatur but disregards and looks down upon students at Millikin. But the gym is nice and has accommodating hours for all walks of life.
