I went to get my hair highlighted and to also get rid of my gray. The girl that did my hair was amazing! I also had her wax my eyebrows, which honestly I was nervous to let her do. My eyes have never looked so good! The school is very clean and the instructors really seem to care about the students and their work. I will definitely go back!
Had an amazing facial. I loved that they were able to accommodate my daughter and I on the same time slot. Very friendly and professional young ladies that did our facials.
I spent 6 hours here getting the TERRIBLE black box dye out of my hair with Melissa she was soo nice and worked so hard it was such a long process but she never once made me feel like she was over it! And Both girls i seen up front are so nice and welcoming!
My friend mentioned that she goes regularly to get services at this school, so I figured Id try it out. After months and months of not taking care of my feet, I sorely needed a pedicure. The gal who provided this service had to work really hard to get my feet up to par (I was in pretty bad shape). She did such a nice job that I plan on doing this with some regularity. They feel wonderful!!
I had my hair trimmed there before and Im telling you that that was the best trim anyone has ever done on my hair! The students and staff were very friendly and they all treated me very nicely! Thank you for trimming my hair! Im definitely going back again!
They arent familiar with working with African American hair so I would 110% not recommend. The staff is super nice on the front desk area. The hair teacher wasnt showing the girl how to do anything. She was confused and rushed my hair. Dont waste your time.
Every time I have come here for a service (color, cut, and style) I have never had any complaints. Not only do the girls on the floor do a great job, but the teachers on the floor as well seriously help the girls every step of the way, they give them advice, answer any questions they or even you may have. Last year we went there for my cousin’s bachelorette party and while they accommodated us superbly for the facials, we also on a whim decided to get manis and Pedis and Becky and her sisters also accommodated us on that. Stephanie is seriously the sweetest and is very helpful when answering questions and setting up appointments as well. Plus their prices? Can’t beat a facial AND a mani/pedi for $30!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place and the wonderful people who run it. 😊😊
Always a satisfied customer. I’ve encouraged friends to try them out and they’ve loved them just as much. The staff is super friendly, full of smiles, and seem to really care for their clients and students as well. Keep up the good work!
I was a walk-in and they handled me very quickly and made sure I was accommadated. The girls in the school know very well what they are doing. They are also very friendly. The prices are amazing! And you also get a discount for being a student, you just need to show your student I.D.. Thanks Debs for giving me super cute, long lasting, curls for my dinner cruise!

Becky, the owner is nice, and Ive never had any issues with ANY of the cosmetology instructors but please, if you are considering Esthetics- do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. Not only was my instructor, Scarlett Valin-Adkins, completely incompetent (she often misspelled words, didnt know answers to the most basic of questions, and even left bruises during waxes) she also was rude, and taught her students that required extra attention, by humiliating them in front of the rest of the class. None of that would fly in any more professional schools.
I always enjoy whatever treatments I receive at Debutantes. I generally go for the waxing services and the facials which are awesome!

For anyone reading the below reviews I would recommend you ignore Tara braggs review. I was in the exact class she was in. I think its in bad taste she would trash an instructor that not only comes highly recommended from other students but previous employers of hers as well. Scarlet is an intelligent and well rounded instructor, she is knowledgeable in all aspects of skin. I am distraught to know that Scarlets integrity as an instructor is being questioned. It is because of this woman I became the esthetician I am. I am proud to say I graduated and was taught under this woman. I refuse to stoop to a level that insults someone however the implied review was written out of anger and not truth. All in all I highly recommend anyone go to debutantes for esthetics or cosmetology, the education I recieved is priceless!

2022-06-16I couldnt be more pleased with this school and my decision to attend the cosmetology course! They have always been so professional and welcoming and compassionate! I was a client for many years prior to becoming a student and from being a client to a student to a graduate from Debutantes I can say they have NEVER let me down! Not once! The staff I couldnt speak more highly of! THE BEST! They are amazing humans! They have been there for me way more than Im sure they even realize! They are more than just a school to me!

2021-04-03Madison was a doll and very professional! Came in for hair color correction and was so impressed with the services I received. I just love my color for the first time in years! Christa the instructor was a delight as she interacted with her students with such care and advised and pitched in so happily. The place was immaculate and I appreciated the mask wearing and concern displayed. The receptionist was so friendly and inviting too. Great bunch! Thank you..I will be back!!

2021-10-05I was so excited to get my hair done. Unfortunately, I left the beauty school 9 hours later, 3 mistakes that were tired to be fixed, a couple of toner and a couple washes. I left in tears. My hair was horrible and damaged. There a lot of things that went wrong. I don’t believe the student was the problem rather more the faculty. There were about 3 people telling the student Madison what to do. There was a lot of miscommunication and it wasn’t very professional. I left very disappointed and sad. I went in with beautiful hair and left with a disaster. The lady at the desk, Ana I think her name was, was very nice and I was given to options on what yo do either pay and get it fixed or get it comped. I decided it comped but even then I was every disappointed with the services. I left with horrible hair that had to be fixed at another salon. J know things happen but I think the faculty could have handled the situation better.

2020-07-29Ive been here a couple of times for hair color. They are sweet, courteous, and all around very professional. I was also impressed with their attention to cleanliness, mask wearing requirements, and other precautions, during these uncertain times. I love that they obviously care about their staff, students, and customers. I would 100% recommend to anyone. They are fantastic!

2020-02-23Heather was beyond phenomenal! I showed her my inspiration photos and she instantly became excited. Her energy and charisma made the experience even better! She was so kind and made sure to check in with me during multiple parts of the haircut. I would go back to her again in a heartbeat and I cant wait until shes out cutting hair on her own!I ended up getting 16 of hair cut off and transitioned to a pixie cut and I am in love with how good it looks! She did an amazing job cutting it, making it look natural and giving it that flair at the end with the styling. If you know you want a cute pixie cut, I cannot recommend this place enough!

2019-01-12This place was a well oiled machine! I loved the positivity from the receptionist and how welcomed I felt as soon as I walked in. To make it even better I had an amazing stylist! I 110% recommend asking for Amanda Barone. That girl has serious talent, patience, and truly listens to what you want. She expresses her creativity and manages to make her vision yours. I have never felt more confident with my hair and she was so genuine the entire time. She answered all of my questions and always explained every step! Thank you for the best experience! 💛

2017-10-09I love going here- they are so nice and are very good at cutting hair! I went back to get a trim after I found some more split ends (my fault for not cutting more, not theirs) and they were super accommodating. I love that they double and triple check the students work as well. Cant wait to go back for another trim and new color!
