Lin does an amazing job with my color! The aveda line makes my hair look and feel so healthy. I get compliments from strangers how pretty my hair color is! the whole experience is wonderful at czar
I gave detailed instructions on precisely how I wanted my hair cut. I had been to the salon for several years and needed a root touch-up. Im a brunette and Im lightening my hair. I have about two and a half inches of lighter hair on the top of my head as weve been coloring it lighter and letting it grow out each time, I get my hair done there.
My entire experience from start to finish was excellent. The staff was welcoming and friendly. My stylist Lin worked with me in order to provide me with the cut and style I wanted. Oh, and the scalp massage while getting my hair washed was so relaxing.
Stephanie was so lovely and welcoming. She talked me through options for my haircut and gave me her honest option about what was best. She did a fantastic job and the haircut exceeded my expectations. The best haircut I’ve had in years!
If you are a blonde see Lin in Bollingbrook!!! She can do it all. I had longer hair - she made it look incredible. I just cut it short and she DID WONDERS to make it exactly what I wanted.

Full service salon and spa that is focused on your relaxation! First time I went I got a hair cut from Liz which was wonderful and included a scalp massage. Second time I went I got a manicure and pedicure from Amy, and that was incredibly relaxing as well. Everyone who I have interacted with here has been wonderful, and the services have been high quality. Excited to try more services from them in the future!
Alicia did an amazing job on my highlights!!!I look fantastic ❤️❤️❤️I love that they wash your hair from behind you instead of the side.A hot towel was wrapped around my head which was nice, I have never had that anywhere before.Very professional, very clean and made sure things were sanitized which was nice to see.

Chona was an incredible massage therapist! Very kind, warm, welcoming, and took the time to listen to areas that I was having difficulty with & experiencing pain. She really worked out a lot of problem areas that I greatly appreciated. I left my 90min massage feeling relaxed but also mist importantly feeling like the areas that I really wanted addressed were attended to. She gave me great suggestions for aftercare on my own at home and what recommendations she had for future treatment which aligned with what is needed to address my chronic back pain. This was my first massage experience with C’zar and I was pleasantly surprised. The salon was clean, welcoming and the receptionist was friendly. The best part was the massage! The massage therapist Chona was fantastic!! The pressure applied was perfect, she was professional and experienced. The entire experience was wonderful! I will definitely return! Chona was amazing!
Stephanie is the best! I love my cut and color. After trying to color my own hair during quarantine, I managed to turn it orange. It was dry and frizzy and a mess. She gave me a super cute cut and fixed the color for me without having to spend an outrageous price. Go see her, you won’t be disappointed!

I felt safe and comfortable due to Covid. They take your temp and wipe down the seats and areas you are in. The service is amazing! Super friendly and professional. Marena washed my hair and styled it. The best part of getting your hair done is the shampoo and condition and it felt great! Everyone seemed very friendly and willing to help. Marena did an amazing job on my frizzy hair (you would never know I have frizzy hair because she smoothed it out beautifully). Marena is super friendly and professional. She listens to you and uses products to help your hair. I highly recommend getting your hair done here. They did not disappoint!

I’m a return customer to Czar. I’ve been away over a year because I wanted the commute time to be close to home ( like 10-15 min vs 30 min) but I couldn’t find a stylist that really listened to my needs. It was very frustrating as I have very thick hair and need texturing with shears, not scissors! I took a chance on a stylist (CC) that was available on a Sunday afternoon and she was wonderful. She listened, made suggestions and was very personable. I’ll be returning for my next appointment and won’t look elsewhere ever!
My mother and I came in yesterday for haircuts and highlights yesterday. Best haircut weve ever had. Lynn was our stylist. She is amazing. We still cant stop talking about how great our hair looks and how great this place is. Everyone is super nice...its relaxing. Staff is excellent. At one point I had to leave to get my 3 year old and they were very accepting of my little one hanging around while we waited for my mom to finish. Great place! Will be coming back for sure!
Chona is one the best massage therapist ever! Her technique is spot on, she’s intuitive, and truly great at her craft. I appreciate her attention to my muscles and always providing significant relief, but also in making the experience a zen one. In light of Covid-19, I felt completely safe and in good hands as that concern that was quickly relieved based on her professionalism and the safe atmosphere she and C’zar promotes.I also get my hair cut and styled by Caitlyn, she’s a great find as well. C’zar is worth every penny in value, but also in experience. They’re top notch on many levels. Even with product shopping and questions through Instagram; so attentive and client focused.

I moved Illinois this year and needed a hair salon. Unfortunately this year has been a struggle with Covid. I was recommended Czar from a family member and was told that they were following guildlines. So I made an appointment and was not disappointed. I didnt really know what I wanted from my hair other then a trim and shaped up. The stylist knew exactly what to do and perfectly styled my hair. I will definitely be coming back and having her as my stylist. Thank you. 😊

I have been going to the Naperville location and had two separate hairstylist that unfortunately had to leave the company. Each time I had a transition between stylist I felt like the salon took extra care to make sure the transition process was a smooth one, which I always appreciated. This time I saw Kelsie and she was great! She listened to everything thatI felt was important in the style I was looking to cut my hair. Also the scalp massage during shampoo was amazing! I really appreciated the education they give you when they are going to style and cut your hair, you can tell that Kelsie was passionate in what she does. I love my new haircut and was eager to book another before the holidays filled up.

I gave a star because I had no choice. But if it was up to me I would give them 0. My mom had a appointment at 5. We arrived and they told us the stylist was 15 to 20 minutes behind. She waited then 38 minutes later she was told they couldnt do her haircut. If she wanted to go back the next day. Very disappointed no professionalism and it was a master stylist. Apparently more experienced. Not going back. Not blaming the front desk lady. She was very nice. Would not recommend at all though.
Been here three times for my wedding hair and highlights and have left happy every time. Had my hair done today by Ivy and not only was she a really cool girl but made my hair look beautiful! Keep up the great work girl!
Due to recent surgery something as basic as a nail trim had gone undone for months. I was desperate. I also had major swelling in my lower right leg and foot. I thought maybe a massage would help. Wow, what a difference. Going back next week and adding in some acupuncture as well. 100% satisfied and highly recommended!😍
This was my first time back at czar since I was in high school so about 10 yrs ago. I had never been to the Bolingbrook location, but it was the first available due to my schedule. I love the location and the easiness to park and the salon itself. All I have to say is I was very hesitant to find a new stylist but I was desperate. I am soooo happy and glad I found Ivy, she was wonderful. Super welcoming and genuine and not to mention she did everything I asked for and more! Not only did she listen to me when I told her I was trying to keep my length to grow it out, but she gave the most amazing head massage ever!!! I felt so relaxed and felt so comfortable with her I truly trusted her with my hair. That is so rare for me, because usually I get my haircut and my stylist never listens and cuts 4+ inches off and I cry. So, Ivy thank you for listening and having me walk out super happy and thrilled about my locks! I’m excited for my next appointment ! I love how helpful she was when I asked for her opinion on the type of products I should use and how to use it. She was awesome and I wish I could get my hair done every week with her! Thank you c’zar for continuing to hold the best stylist and quality and thank you for Ivy! And I love the Davines products!
Stephanie has been cutting my hair for over 10 years and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone but her. Not only does she give an amazing haircut, but she helps makes the entire salon experience unforgettable. A haircut from Stephanie is priceless!

Liz is awesome and I really enjoy every experience! Shes friendly and exceptional at coloring and cuts. I have super thick hair as does she so shre really knows how to cut it to make it easy on me to style and not feel like I have a huge weight on my head each day. Oh my heaven, I went in for a regular cut and instead got an amazing experience. 10minute scalp message with my shampoo while another girl gave me a hand message....oh heaven. Not what I expected. I just moved here from the city and need to find a new stylist and Im so happy to find this gem. I asked for one of the master stylists who had experience with long thick hair and they recommended Ofelia. She was amazing, she really took her time to ask me about what I wanted and what my hair issues were and after 1 hour of time working through my mess of a hair, I was finally taimed. :) Ive never had someone spend so much time on my hair, priming and poking for perfection. Im a perfectionist my self and so Im hard to empress and Ofeilia (dont know how to spell her name) was perfection. Thank you girl!!
I recently had my first haircut at Czar Salon in the Bolingbrook Promenade. When you first walk in, youre greeted by a very sweet and knowledgeable receptionist. The atmosphere is warm, beautiful, and trendy. I was offered wine and other beverages while I waited, which is a nice extra. When it was time for my cut, my stylist, Liz, was incredible! She took the time to talk with me about my haircut vision and truly listened to what I wanted. Not many stylists do that. The luxurious shampoo and scalp massage were so relaxing, I almost fell asleep! Throughout my haircut Liz asked how I was feeling about the length and style. You can see by her techniques that she is very talented and my hair turned out so beautifully--exactly what I wanted! I can honestly say this is the best haircut Ive ever gotten and I have finally found my salon! I love Czar!
Jackie is a skilled esthetician. I got the dual exfoliating facial. The combo of hot and cold creams was very cool. Jackie has gentle hands and cares about your skin.
I got a massage at both the Naperville and Bolingbrook locations. The massage therapist, Chona, creates a welcoming environment, and does a great job of focusing on the areas requested. She is extremely skilled in her craft, and uses intricate techniques for maximum stress relief. Always a pleasure!
Come for the nails and stay for the spa like experience! Amy is super great when it comes to tending to my needs (nails) and is very meticulous in her work. Plus, they now have an anti gravity chair that simply feels like youre napping on a cloud while listening to the sounds of nature and taking in the smells of aromatherapy. AMY IS THE BEST!

I almost hate to give up this secret but I love this salon. For being in the middle of a mall, its like an oasis - calm, no chemical smells, never overcrowded or overly noisy, nice staff, beverages in real mugs, and quality services. I switched to this salon when I was looking for more natural products and processes after a health problem, and have been through a couple of stylists over the years. Currently with Stephanie, who is awesome, but they are all good! Parking is never a problem either, and for a bonus if you need to pick up a gift or meet someone for a meal you have your choice of stores or restaurants within walking distance as soon as you leave!
Caitlyn TOTALLY exceeded my expectations! She was friendly, professional and very talented. I left my appointment feeling fabulous. So looking forward to my next visit.

My experiences were overall good at this saloon,its a good place. But the other day a girl named Lin from Bolingbrook- Naperville location, did a horrible job on my boyfriends haircut. His lines were completely crooked, and she clearly was in a rush and totally non dedicated. Very disappointed.

Ive been going to Czar for years. I love changing my hair and Jessica has never failed to do it perfectly. If its blonde highlights or dark red all over color, a simple trim or a pixie cut, Im always wowed. Even had my wedding hair and makeup done here and it was incredible.

I have been patronizing CZAR for many years now and I can tell you it is a relaxing upscale hair salon right here in Bolingbrook. All of the girls have talents and I have about eight other relatives from the area that also enjoy this place. My favorite is Stefanie however any stylist can meet your needs in a professional manner.
From the second I stepped in, I was greeted with kindness and enthusiasm. I scheduled a pedicure which was on the 2nd floor, but Kyra my technician took the time to show me around the entire salon. She made sure I was comfortable and really pampered me with a relaxing chair, eye mask and glass of wine. I cannot say enough good things about Czars! I will definitely be back!
Love, Love, LOVE Rachel. She is the BEST. I always went to Rachel for little things here and there to feel her out (trims, bang cuts, taking the thickness out of my hair) but last night I decided to throw in my cards and let her do a complete hair makeover on me for my birthday. I showed her a picture of an ombre and she hit in right on the head but better. She used a technique called balayage. Balayage gives the colorist more freedom to place color where they choose, unlike foils which can be much more precise. It gave a really great effect and the results were marvelous. I referred one of my good friends to her before getting my hair colored (ha ha ha, I know) and she did great on her hair as well. (we are both African American so finding a stylist that knows their stuff is very hard to come by)The staff is very nice; its very clean, calm and they give great scalp massages while the conditioner sits in... talk about HEAVEN .
This is nice Salon with some very talented stylists... you will be pampered while your there... I wrote this last week after a consultation with a stylist Ive been working with for over a year. I took pics in and I was told the style and color I was going for was So me... then went back for my appointment and walked out with exactly what I was trying to avoid. What the Hell just happened. We will see how they deal with this completely inexcusable out come.
I am an African Americans, I took my granddaughter in the Bolingbrook location because she wanted to get her mom a gift card for her birthday. The lady there told me that they do not do African American hair. Now, this looks awful racist in front of a13-year-old, we are trying to teach our children not to be a racist person. I was very disappointed with your management skills.

2022-07-09I just want to say that I’m extremely satisfied with their service. I bought my husband a facial treatment for his birthday, and when I picked him up he said that he would like to do this every month. This is coming from someone who’s never had a spa day before, I’m so happy he enjoyed himself and felt taken care of during his visit. I would definitely recommend this business.

2022-04-16I just wanted to say I’ve absolutely loved the results from my two times I’ve had my hair cut and colored by Lin. The first time I went in she fixed a bad color and cut that I had gotten elsewhere on my long hair. I was very happy with the results! The second time I went in I got a very short haircut with bangs and color (French style hehe) and I love my hair!!! I was not expecting to love it this much given my experiences at other salons and the fact that it’s a tricky cut in my opinion. Thank you Lin!! 😄

2022-06-08Fantastic staff that greet you at the door. I scheduled my cut and style with Stephanie. My hair went through many changes over the past year. Stephanie did a great job with the consultation and helped identity the style I desired. I walked out feeling confident with my new hair style and I think that is experience everyone needs.

2022-07-20It makes me sad to post this one star review after having been a client of Czar Naperville and Bolingbrook for about 6 years. My regular hairstylist had an emergency and I used a different stylist for color. She was a level 3 stylist and I usually see a level 7/master stylist. The color had dripped all over my neck, in my ears, and it was a mess. This had never happened before. I was also charged extra for the color. I shared my concerns with the salon manager and her response to me was that for 6 years I was being undercharged. She also justified color running all over me as normal. She also blamed all the past stylists i had seen and said they messed up and did not charge me correctly. There was not a single apology. I will not be back. Czar has had a lot of turnover with their stylists. Their experienced stylists have always been amazing and that’s why I have been a customer for so long. I cannot say the same of what the service is now sadly. Also, it’s very unprofessional to blame past stylists with a current customer.

2022-02-04Ive been coming to your Naperville in Bolingbrook store for 3 years. Im never disappointed Ive had several stylists they do great work. Liz did my hair this time and did an excellent job. Ill be back!

2022-05-26I had a deep tissue massage with Chona and she was excellent! I felt so relaxed after I left and she really hit all of my problem spots. I’ve had a lot of massages in the past and Chonda is one of the best. She knows what she’s doing and I will definitely be back. She’s a hidden treasure!

2022-04-08Amy was wonderful as usual. She totally outdid herself this time. I brought my friend with me, a stressed out mother of the bride, she never had a manicure or pedicure before and was extremely anxious. Amy worked her magic on her and she walked out of there a completely different person. Thank you Amy!
