Getting our Chinese travel visa through the CVSC Passport & Visa - Chicago office was pretty painless for the group of 4 who are traveling together. However, for Branch Manager, Lindsay Anderson, she was probably ready to pull her hair out because we just couldnt seem to get the invitation letter in an acceptable format. She was very patient with us though as we worked through it. The Visa arrived in plenty of time! Thank you Lindsay.
Super friendly staff! I had a few corrections to make and CVSC was easy to get in touch with and got my errors straightened up. Also, I was impressed with how quickly I got my visa. Would highly recommend!
My first time ever going to China, and having to complete a 4 page visa app. Found their office on the same floor as my dentist. Walked in, had a lovely conversation with Lindsay, came back a few weeks later with all my paperwork, Lindsay reviewed it, and it flew right through, no hiccups. The Chinese are sticklers, and I didnt want to mess up, so I was happy to find them. I went to the web as well, found their site and referred my travel companion to their DC office as they cover her state. Fee looks reasonable to me based on some research I was doing. Worth it as saved me from worrying if I got it right.Thank you CVSC!
I thoroughly enjoyed CVSCs professionalism, and joyful attitude in helping me aquire my Chinese visa!They promptly notified me, by email and phone, when I had a missing document -- and provided instruction on how to complete it. My passport and Chinese visa arrived back to my hands in the tight timetable I needed for my China trip. :-)Only possible recommendation:of the required documentation listed on website, I interpreted the letter of employment as not pertaining to unemployed individuals. However, the unemployed also need to include a this letter. Assuming other unemployed customers also make this mistake, a note about unemployment may be beneficial on the website.Thank you very much for your services! They certainly make it easy! On-line form, digital photo uploading, and they even telephone you immediately if another document is recommended. Weve used them for several years for our annual academic-visit visas for China.

I sent them the info to process, and when I made a mistake they reached out to me ASAP to help fix the error. Thanks to them I’m able to go to China they had my paperwork done in a week. Definitely recommend if you need a fast and affordable visa processed.

I used CVSC for a recent business trip to China. I was nervous about sending my passport to a 3rd party, but everything seemed to go fine and I got my passport and visa back in about 5-6 business days.Would use again.
Quick, efficient, and EXTREMELY helpful. They ensured they had all the paperwork they needed and that the paperwork was correct before submitting it to ensure we were successful in obtaining the visa we needed. I would highly recommend them.
This service is very well organized with detailed instructions and documentation. Plan on roughly 1 hour of time needed to fill out paperwork. Super smooth process from start to finish. I wouldnt even consider spending time looking for other options.
A bit pricey, but got the passport to the embassy and processed it with return of passport with visa the day prior to departure. Informed me of the need for an additional form the embassy mentioned nowhere and included that after an email. Very efficient, if you can afford them I recommend them.
Incredibly rude and impatient staff. When I asked her to be patient with my questions, she became offended. She then accused me of being rude. I asked her what I had said that was so rude, and she answered me with silence for ten seconds before suggesting I work with the Washington office. I went to their competition and found patience, good humor, and professionalism. Avoid CVSC!
Really great communication and transparency with when your visa gets accepted , and when they’re going to ship it. Amazing. Only took 1 week to get my visa and passport back to me.
Very easy to work with and communicate with. Emails were replied to promptly and calls were always picked up and not asked to hold please. Great service and will be using them again.
The website is very helpful and the woman that runs the Chicago office is very friendly and efficient. However, I called a number of times (the main line) and numerous times they gave me incorrect information. Do not call the main line, call the specific office you need to work with.

2019-12-14Excellent service, great communication, and prompt turn around of paperwork and Visa. As a former Chinese citizen, I required a little more documentation than a standard USA citizen when applying for my Visa. CVSC’s website provided clear instruction and forms necessary. The consulate however wanted additional documentation. Branch Manager, Lindsay Anderson personally contacted me to tell me what I needed and we were able to send the documents immediately via Email. She personally reviewed what was sent and went back to the consulate to reprocess my application. All went smoothly and we received our Visa within days. What a wonderful service. Thank you Lindsay. You are an asset to your company, and your prompt service brought us great comfort.

2020-01-31Contacted the CVSC after seeing a few folks talk about it on TripAdvisor. Of course Im a little hesitant about sending my passport out of my control, but there is no Chinese consulate in St. Louis so I really didnt have much of a choice. The online process was surprisingly smooth. They took care of the passport photo printing which was a huge time saver and everything was taken care of in a matter of days. I was very impressed and wouldnt hesitate to use them again. Awesome service, great communication, would recommend.

2020-01-16I used the CVSC service for document authentication for my diploma and background check for my China work visa. The service was very fast and their staff were very helpful. I had to call the office multiple times to confirm details and the woman who answered the phone always provided me with good answers along with a good attitude. Having a good attitude and caring for the customers is key.Highly recommended!

2019-12-19CVSC is a great company. During my document authentication process, the discovered that Id had apostilled incorrectly for China. They emailed me about the issue and Lindsay dealt with my (numerous) phone calls very patiently and professionally. We were able to figure out a course of action within an hour. She mailed the documents before the end of the day so I could get the fixed quickly. And when I returned the documents with the correct apostille, all the documents were processed very quickly. I appreciate everything that CVSC and Lindsay did to help me through the process, and would highly recommend the company.

2019-12-16I had a great experience with CVSC. I don’t live anywhere near a consulate so I had to go through a visa service, but I was really happy with the peace of mind that I got by going through this service. There was a small problem with my paperwork and they notified me right away so I could fix it. We were approved and had our passports and visas delivered to us within a week of CVSC receiving them. It was definitely not cheap, but the Chinese visa process is complicated and I was happy to have someone checking my work to ensure our visas were approved. Thanks!

2020-02-07Theres a lot of paperwork associated with getting a Visa to China - CVSC was helpful. Their instructions are very clear and thorough. When travel to China became prohibited, we asked CVSC to cancel our application since it was still being processed (so we could get our money back) and they called me right away, explained what I needed to do, and went to the Chinese consulate the next day to make the request. Unfortunately our Visa had already been approved, but at least CVSC tried. We received our passport back when they said we would.

2020-02-20I worked with CVSC remotely. Getting all your paperwork correctly prepared for authentication can be confusing. The directions on the CVSC website were very detailed and even gave examples. The most helpful part was being about to communicate with CVSC before sending off documents and receiving a prompt and clear response. They even send you high resolution scans of your documents so you can forward them electronically to future employers. The fees charged for services are appropriate. It would have been far more expensive if I had to show up to the consulate in person.

2019-12-15CVSC made it very easy to apply for my business visa to China. They were able to process my application promptly and were friendly and helpful in communication. They helped me make sure I had all the required documents and were very timely in processing the application, delivering the visa, and providing helpful updates on the progress along the way. I would definitely recommend CVSC and will be using their service for all future China visa needs.

2019-10-30CVSC is great! It’s so rare these days for people to take your money and actually deliver exactly what they promise and time 100% of the time!Never left my house. No consulate appointments, no paying for city parking, no traffic and ZERO time spent in lines.I’ve used their services since 2014 probably a half dozen times and it’s always the same. I pay, they deliver. What a perfect arrangement.It’s not cheap, but I will gladly pay for this kind of convenience ALL DAY LONG.
