Worst customer service ever on many occasions. They held my script for days and when I was finally told I could pick it up in still wasnt ready. After being told to wait longer in the store the told me they didnt have the stock. Do not really on this Pharmacy. Even trying to make sure I filled early I have still been screwed. They dont answer phones after dinner at times as well. I was literally told by customer service that they were ignoring calls in the Pharmacy. Dont use this location!!!
Far more bad experiences with this pharmacy than any other in Rockford. As a Physician I deal with all the pharmacies in the area. This time I electronically prescribed and antibiotic for a pt to the pharmacy. Husband went to pick it up. They said they needed to talk to the doctor. I called and waited on hold for 42 min. By then I filled the prescription from our own pharmacy at 10:07 pm.
Waiting a week for my medication first it was on order then it was being in process for 5 days. Called 3 times each time being told it would be ready that day,was told the same thing today. Today it’s a week I don’t know what happened with the service at this store it used to be good now it’s terrible. If not for my insurance I would never go to CVS. I will check my options with my insurance company, do not use this store.
The employees are either totally clueless or just dont care because they are being paid pennies but this is the MOST disturbing thing... When I first rang up the items it was around $70 and then with the discounts of being a member it brought it down to $68 but they declined my card which was a mistake and when the employee rang me up again it was $90 for the exact same bag! I said Ill ring it up myself at the self check out and it came to the $70 and I guess no discounts for me on the self checkout lol Total attempted theft and Ill never be back! Ive seen ppl go to jail for stealing a pack of gum from them but when they try to steal $20 from us, what happens?! NOTHING and thats whats wrong with this world
Worst pharmacy I have ever used in my 60 years. Hurry up and wait!!! They are grossly understaffed and it shows in the quality of their work. They do NOtHING to make things easier for the consumer. I guess multiple trips to the pharmacy it hour long wait times after you have been confirmed for V pick up is acceptable to them but people especially seniors do not have money for multiple trips for one arc. VERY poor customer service. That is if you can get them to answer the phone.
The people that work at the pharmacy are nice enough. However they are always out of my scripts and never come in when they say they are to arrive. Even though my doctors office sends an escript 1, 2 and sometimes 3 weeks in advance. I have called the corporate headquarters twice now to no avail. The problem is with management and policy. I am now switching my familys scripts to another nationally known pharmacy. I gave them 2 years to fix the problem . Times up!!! Youre fired!!!Mark Johnson Rockford Illinois
Very poor customer service.... Went to pick up an antibiotic for my sick child that was called in by the Dr and failed to let him know that it was out of stock. When I got there with my sick child they acted like it was not a big deal and sent me to another CVS without checking by phone to see if they had the antibiotic. It would have been better to tell the Dr and check if there was anything else he could possibly proscribe for my child who was EXTREMELY miserable... They also acted like I should have known....
Stopped in at 4:15 AM. First open business I’ve seen in hours. At this point in my cross country drive my eyeballs were swimming. Waddled into the store. First person I see is super polite. Bathroom was closed to be sanitized, disappointing but understandable. I don’t know what they saw in my face, a broken spirit, sheer desperation, or that I was probably gonna find a bush In the parking lot, but they allowed me to pop in for a moment and use it anyway to spare me from the purgatory I’d condemned myself to during this drive.Thank you kind person.10/5 stars.
I have used this pharmacy for the last 10 years and they were awesome up until the last 6 months they have been so horrible my whole family are taking our prescription to another pharmacy. They are rude, they dont give you correct meds, when the doctors office calls in a prescription they have to do it several times because the employees are incompetent. I have called corporate office multiple times and they say they are looking into it nothing has changed we are not they only ones with issues and nothing is being done about it!
I have been getting my prescriptions filled at this location for over 7 years. Sometime in Dec 2019 they changed the ENTIRE staff in the pharmacy, and apparently went on a new operating system. At least that is the excuse I have been getting for the last 3 months. They are out of my prescriptions consistently now and they blame it on a manufacturers back log. However, EVERY other pharmacy in town has stock. How can you be OUT OF STOCK on something for 15 DAYS???Dont think about questioning them, they raise their voice while tellin gyou there is nothing more they can do! I am going back to Walgreens!
Sorry for the long review but I feel like this needs to be said.This past Sunday I called for a prescription refill. My refills needed my doctors approval and the automated message said it would do that for me. I had done this in the past without issue so I thought there would be no problem. This was a holiday week but by Friday only 1 of my scripts had been filled. The other still had no approval.I called my doctors office and they said they had not received the request from the pharmacy but would send the approval over.It is midnight Saturday, a full week after calling in and still no refill.My doctors office will get a similar review. But it is easier to replace a pharmacy than a doctor. However, that is not out of the question at this point either.Because of their miscommunication I have gone 7 days without a medication my doctor has deemed medically necessary. Whats more is that when I called to find out if my script was ready the pharmacist told me that after doing the initial call to the automated attendant that I should have followed up with another call to talk to a real person to make sure that it had gone through. So apparently its my fault. I should have known that I had to call twice to talk to a computer and then a human to do the same thing. No wonder why medical care costs so much.
The worst staff. Lady tells me its going to be 1 hour wait. When i go back in 1 hour, she tells me so and so was on lunch and they just got back. It will be another 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have been okay with hour and half wait if she said that in the first place!
CVS is the worst. Sat and waited for my sons prescription for 30 minutes or more at 3 am just for the pharmacist to say the insurance rejected it. It was amoxicillin. Seriously? I think he just didnt want to deal with it. I knew that wasnt right so I went to Walgreens and the pharmacist said 15 minutes. Not even 15 minutes and it was ready. And wouldnt you know the insurance covered it. To the pharmacist at CVS youre a real jerk. Also, no one at the counter to to pay for the over the counter stuff. Stood there forever before anyone would help me. It was dead. Empty! But, somehow everyone manage to be to busy. Oh well. At least theres a Walgreens. Ill never make the mistake of going back to cvs again. For anything
This is the worst CVS location Ive ever had experience at. Three days in a row I drove 30 min to get there for them to tell me it would be ready at 8 am each day and one day I sat in the parking lot for an hour because they had the wrong number after I literally just told the guy my new number. The humans here are more like retarded robots that were synced incorrectly and have no form of communication.
Would have gave the pharmacy 1/2 star but had no choice but to give a 1 star rating and they are not even worth that...was told 1 hour wait time at night when no cars were at store i was only one waiting in pharmacy ..no cars in drive thru..they made up a story because they didnt want to bother with me ..took my script to another store and wad filled right away...never again at this cvs..the pharmacy is a joke
Every location Ive used whether I am in Naperville or Rockford has been a nightmare of long waits, mail order errors,wrong medication filled by mistake,faxed medication sent to wrong location etc. Its been a mistake to even walk into the building apparently . My favorite is of course, the stolen controlled substance meds while spearheading the opiate epidemic, yes,thanks to my insurance company for choosing the mistake of CVS. I will go ANYWHERE ELSE. BOYCOTT CVS and support patients who really do justify the need for sensibly prescient opiates. Theres a reason they offer the lowest bulk price. Its called we dont care about you
I always pay my car note here with nice people. Today when I walk in the lady at the register looked at me and clocked out, and walked away. When I speak upon it she starts to look for someone. The time she took to find help was way more than it would have took her to help me.

Missing prescriptions? ✅ Prescription not in stock? ✅ Takes days to fill an order? ✅ Communication between CVS and CVS/Caremark? ❌Walgreens is infinitely better, faster, more communicative, and almost always in stock.

2022-04-22Update: It took me over a week of daily calling to finally get medication. Every assistant gave me the wrong info and never actually checked their inventory. The pharmacist eventually got it right. It may be helpful if nothing is working to ask for the actual pharmacist.

2022-02-02I was on the phone for 15 min on hold, then the person hung up on me, once they answered. When I got to the drive through the person didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I mentioned I was hung up on. She had had rude attitude, and I will not be going through that CVS at all.Terrible service every time I’ve been there. TERRIBLE

2021-11-23This pharmacy has always been amazing and weve used them for years! There is one lady with gray hair who was so rude tonight. My daughter had a spacer and inhaler ordered and we went to get it the lady said it wasnt ready a day and a half later. Its a spacer in a box! The inhaler they said was never ordered so I had to call and have the doc call it in again. Then this lady said half an hour, we drove through 40 minutes later and she made a snide comment about me getting a notification. Then she lied and said she told me it would be an hour. The was so rude. I had to come home and feed my kids after waiting an hour and a half. The place has gone down hill fast!

2022-07-12I have dealt with CVS for over 5yrs they are rude unhelpful, always on hold then after 10 min you get hung up on, when you speak to someone they always put the blame on someone else,they need to answer the phone take care of the issue when in person its worse, they talk down to the customers, they dont want to hear about the problem they just want to get you out and on to the next customer

2022-05-23If I could rate a 0 I would I had called to ask a question I was super nice and friendly and the man working at the pharmacy was super rude kept interrupting me and raising his voice I would recommend going to Walgreens or another cvs super rude and horrible customer service.

2022-01-01Made my drive thru covid test appointment that I need weekly for work (24-48hr) test and get there and the lady tells me come back in a few hours drive through is closed. I love 35 minutes from the location so had to come back later. After 4 days still don’t have my test back. Never had an issue with any other cvs location.

2021-11-24It takes longer than other pharmacies to get a prescription filled. It is also difficult to deal with the pharmacy techs. They cant seem to give you a straight answer about anything. Often, when I go to pick up a prescription that theyve texted me is ready, its NOT ready when I get there!Another important note, if you have chronic pain, and have a pain management doctor who prescribes a controlled substance as a part of your entire treatment plan, the pharmacists and techs at this facility are so judgmental, to the point where I have chosen to have those medications filled elsewhere, unless I absolutely have no other choice.I would never step foot inside this pharmacy if I wasnt required to use CVS as a part of my insurance plan for certain medications!

2022-04-29Pharmacy Employees are just the worst.. They have total disregard for the fact that they’re the literal lifeline between people and their meds. In my case, my preemie baby.
