Please dont use this pharmacy. I am currently on hold with them and have been for about 40 minutes. My doc accidentally sent my rx here instead of the one in Tinley I switched to because this one is horrible. I even talked to the pharmacist at Tinley Park CVS on Harlem and she says she knows theyve been having issues too. Or as she put it are going through changes. So yeah. Pick another CVS. The one in Tinley on Harlem is on point. Drive a bit farther and go there for less headaches.
Horrible got racial profiled twice and my medication refused twice first time I went there the pharmacist try giving me every excuse in the book not to refill my anxiety medication Ive been getting for years for my anxiety and panic attacks after she talked to my doctor and my doctor said it was ok to release my medication she still didnt so I called corporate told them what happend. They daid they would follow up same day I went to Walgreens had to pay out of pocket but got my medication no problem because they dont take my insurance and CVS does she had no excuse her excuse to my doctor was she felt uncomfortable while in the meantime shes filling everybody elses medication. So next time for me to get medication again I go there again pull in the drive through the tech tells me it will be an hour I said sure thats fine as soon as i drive off i get a peraonal call from the cacausian blonde lady telling me its to early to refill which is was not and I knew it was not I gave her no problem and said fine I called my doctors office and my nurse called her back asking her why she was refusing to refill my medication when indeed it was time to refill and her answer again was she felt uncomfortable which to me is not enough of a good excuse. So i called corporate again and still havent heard from them that same day again I went to Wal-Mart pharmacy and my medication no problem the same day she was recorded telling me she couldent because it was a whole month early which was her words. So at this point I am getting my lawyer involved no one should ever be treated this way and embarassed in front of customers and her staff I will never ever go to another CVS again thwy have been sued before for racially profiling people.

2021-12-04I stopped there today to pick up a few items, wish I wouldn’t have…was the worse…they have a register open with no cashier there…there is a bell for customers to ring when ready to cash out…but when cashier comes she said go over to the self checkout…if I wanted to do your job then I’d go to self check out, cashier stood right next to me watching me scan my items, bag them and pay…why is there a cashier if she isn’t gonna do her job. This is why I haven’t shopped there

2022-04-16Terrible drive thru pharmacy. 35 minutes ? Really if someone has to wait for a prescription to be made or called in , park em. Will move my picks to Walgreens

2022-01-132 days in a row now I have tried to call and have waited 40 minutes on hold just to try and talk to a human being related to a prescription refill. This isn’t the first time this has happened either. I guess I will just hang up once again today and go yet another day without my prescriptions. Unacceptable.

2021-12-09Dont bother calling the pharmacy because they wont answer. I dont even want to go into detail about the issue I have with this company because I have been through it, and the corporate reps are no help at all. I suggest finding another pharmacy or another CVS location because they cant do something as simple as answer the phone. I stood in line and watch 5 people behind the counter act as if the phones are not ringing.

2020-11-18The pharmacy department needs help. They never answer the phone or your on hold for over 15 minutes. Your prescription is not ready when you get there even after you call and they say its ready. Today, the pharmacy technician told me that my insurance was canceled. Not true, we have had our insurance for over 30 years.I understand its difficult now. I am only asking that factual information be given.Wishing you the best.

2021-09-30Slowest most unorganized CVS! Every time we go for prescriptions the wait 45 minutes to an hour and there is no line, so WHY THE WAIT! The staff never look up to acknowledge you are there nor do the answer the phone when you call. TERRIBLE PLACE

2021-01-19First of all, I have no complaints with the pharmacy staff; they do a very good professional job. I DO HAVE a complaint about the front of the store. Generally, you must wait b/c there is nobody at cashier.I truly wish, they did NOT handle UPS parcels, because they are AWFUL at it!!!!! I presented my ID to them. The young man in there today, mid-day, handled this in a very inconvenient, odious manner! He put the parcel right in front of me once I told him my name. He asked for my ID. I presented it. He refused to give me the parcel.OK, if my ID is insufficient, WHY DO YOU ASK FOR IT???This CVS handles UPS parcels AWFUL!

2021-02-12I used to like this location, mainly because of Jessica the pharmacist but the past 5 times Ive come here have had the most insane wait times out of any pharmacy Ive ever been to. Ive never sat behind 3 cars for 35+ minutes before but here, its a regular occurrence. I dont know if theyre short staffed or what, but its definitely a time commitment to get your meds here. Im switching pharmacies again because of this.To be fair, I think the staff are likely trying their best and just overwhelmed/understaffed, which is a management issue.

2020-10-16Absolutely horrible excuse for a pharmacy, you submit refills online go to pick up days later still not filled only to be told they are very busy and short staffed and to call next time after I submit my refills to get done sooner, tried that was on hold for over 30 minutes. They have a covid testing lane which is the main window they refuse to open ever to service other patrons, again i sat behind someone for 45 minutes. The outside lane is a shoot holds hardly nothing, i spend thousands of dollars there every month and have since it opened and this is UNACCEPTABLE. But they have NO problem stalking me by phone and text to tell me i have refills ready to process, why they wont be ready anyway.

2020-10-05Pharmacy technicians are rude, not trained properly or just dont want to do their job. On several occasions they did not run our insurance, over charged us on our medications, lied and stated those prices were through our insurance. Called the insurance company and they stated CVS never ran the insurance, and our medications should have been 75% cheaper.
