I asked Joanna a question about a facial product as she was stocking to floor. She seemed irritated when I asked her to help meShe points with a nonchalant attitude as if i was disturbing her. Come to find out shes one of the managers there. So if Im getting this bad customer service by the managerImagine the service ill get from normal team members... smh
I dont know this woman that was working yesterday, but her attitude make the whole store feeling great, She was saying hello to every consumer that walked to the door, even she was working on the register. She explained everything to the older lady in front of me about her charges on the bill. What an asset to the neighborhood compared to some other places, not to point the fingers yet. That girl rocks and I hope she is the manager or she definitely should be. She is tall, black, beautiful and has a very great attitude.
I had a change in RX and I notified the pharmacy two times not to auto fill the RX. yet they still continued to do so. Yesterday afternoon someone from the pharmacy called my office and even mentioned the name of the RX to my secretary. Today two persons in my office asked me about it. There are Federal laws about disclosing that info. This was not the first time it happened. I want to know how CVS is going to correct this matter so it does not happen again. Or should I file a complaint with the Federal agency to get CVS to act responsibly.
The Manager and Pharmacist saved us tonight. My son had surgery today and got a painkiller prescription. I filled it here but stupidly did not notice pharmacy closed at 9p. When I arrived at 9:20...I learned that since was an opioid they could not transfer to another store.Sensing the problem-a night of excruciating pain-the pharmacist (who had already worked a 14 hour day) DROVE BACK TO THE STORE 45 MINUTES OUT OF HER WAY to rescue the paper prescription so we could fill at another pharmacy. Totally changed my opinion of CVS and this store. What a wonderful person. I hope both pharmacist and manager are recognized by CVS corporate for going above and beyond.
For Covid Testing go elsewhereThey dont follow the instructions they send you. They are rude, and there are better places to get tested. The grocery store staff is excellent, the pharmacy staff are rude, disorganized, and just so you dont think Im sitting at home working or collecting, Ive been working and delivering food to sick people.
The pharmacist at cvs pharmacy are full of attitude and it seems as if they are there to give you a hard time . I went in to pick up my Prenatals and this was such an unnecessary journey ! They made me come back three times because apparently the pharmacist at the drive up window does not know how to type in a medical card number !!! I almost ran completely out of prematals all because someone couldn’t type in a medical card number properly in the system . Totally unbelievable.
Free parking lot. This is a 24hour location. However, this store is quite small and that means they carry less products! So I dont really understand why they are 24hours and is very limited on products. In addition, they do not sell liquor at this location neither. The prices are a bit higher than usual.
This store isnt that good at customer service the ppl whom work their some are great ppl but some at night shift arent only three or 4 ppl are okay. This lady I said I didnt smoking was smoking on side of CVS building whom was a worker. She got upset for no reason called cops think she got it going on. At least ppl I work with dont speak bad about me as I heard about her. She never helps me anyways has a nasty way when she speaks. Never asks customers if they need help or greets. Which ever one of them called of two girls. Whom always look as they dont want to be their. Really stop taking smoke breaks I can have asthma as well I dnt know. Quit smoking here. I get sick from smoke! Dont worry I hope someone calls the cops on you as well. Nobody gets away with making my life hard. Returning things tmw hope you like losing. Humble yourself. As well i cant wait to make my blog as well social media. Do your job stop smoking every time That is why nothings done with some ppl here.

2022-05-17Minute clinic staff was incredibly nice, efficient, caring — all the things you want in healthcare professionals when youre feeling like garbage. I dont know how they manage to keep it together given how much stress they must be under every day amid a pandemic, but I was grateful. The gentleman at the front checkout was also super nice and helpful.

2022-06-29Ive never left a negative post...but Ive been to this CVS twice for a Covid test and have been genuinely surprised at how poor their communication and customer service has been. It really sticks out among other CVS locations. The first time they refused service because I wasnt in a car, and after getting my husband to load up our toddler and come over, told me they were closed. I understand the policy, as limiting as it is for those who dont own vehicles, but there was no indication in any prior communication that cars were required. Just now I went again for a scheduled test, about a year later after the first incident, and was told that all tests have been cancelled for the day. No notice, no communication, still nothing. My husband still has an appointment and has received nothing, and you can still make appointments online. Really, really unprofessional, and only giving 2 stars because they employees seem nice, if inexperienced.

2022-05-17I went to the drive thru to pickup my prescription and the Corpulent Pharmacist who came to assist has no manners whatsoever, I wish I knew her name. She should not be working with the General Public with that terrible attitude. I hope she has a better morning.

2022-06-01I didnt know you could get bad customer service in a drive thru but apparently this CVS has proved me wrong. I wish I could remember the pharmacy technicians name but she was the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I work in customer service and I get it when you have a long stressful day. But if you just hate people, which she seemed to, why the h*ll would you go into a customer service role?! She was rude and belligerent and Ive never had someone yell at me at a pharmacy??? Im honestly still in shock that this even happened and it would almost be funny if it didnt involve me. If you see a girl with brunette curly hair in a ponytail just ask to be served by someone else, youll be better off. And to the pharmacy tech, I hope you stub your toe every day for the rest of your life 😁

2020-12-08My family chooses to walk the extra block past Walgreens to go here. Much cleaner store. Much nicer staff. Very covid kind. Drive thru is fast. Always a pleasant experience. Recommend highly over the othe choices in the neighborhood.

2021-11-12I come here often and every time Cody is working he greets each customer that comes in and puts on a happy face. I appreciate the extra effort to be friendly especially during a pandemic when they are likely feeling the effects of being short staffed and underpaid as an essential business.

2021-10-27The pharmacy at CVS has been integral helping my family now since it’s inception at 101 Asbury.I would like to give special well deserved recognition to Christine the Pharmacist (possibly spelled with a K)! Today she gave me two vaccinations, which she helped me understand and execute with my new insurance. But, over time- she has professionally handles her team and customers (me especially when I was going thru hard times with the evil Suboxone)… I have an 83 year old mother that Christine has Also helped well. At times taking prescriptions, the drive thru process, payments , insurance etc create frustrated customers,…. I am glad that during my peak times using the CVS pharmacy, she was in charge. Please give her recognition and keep her in our community in Evanston CVS

2021-09-28According to state law, cyclists have the same rights as motorists. But for a CVS pharmacy, cyclists aren’t allowed to use the drive through. Bicycling is not only good for you, it’s better for infrastructure and the environment. I was turned away for trying to get a Covid test. I did not have symptoms, but needed a negative test to participate in an event this weekend. 27% of chicago residents don’t have cars. Their idea of safety is to pay for a Uber if you don’t have a vehicle. So, expose yourself or others and and pay the Uber fee to get a test? Honestly, this is discrimination against lower income individuals who may not be able to afford a car. Great system. I’m never using a CVS again.

2021-05-07DO NOT GET A TIME-SENSITIVE COVID TEST HERE. We are a married couple who paid $140 each for a test 72 hrs. prior to our trip to HAWAII, as required by the state. CVS is one of Hawaiis trusted testing partners. My husbands test came back negative within 12 hrs. but nothing for myself. We had absolutely no communication from CVS other than a recorded message that the test was being processed. The evening before our departure, still nothing, so out of desperation I went to another testing site (not on Hawaiis list) to receive an immediate PCR test (negative). Upon arrival in Honolulu, they refused me entry and said we would have to stay in a hotel room, unable to leave, for a quarantine period of 10 days. We ended up canceling the trip and returned to Chicago the following day. CVS didnt provide any information until 5 days after the test with just a message that it was inconclusive. When we contacted CVS they said they were immune from any claims or requirement to reimburse us per the PREP Act. of March 10, 2020. In other words, tough luck we didnt get your test to you on time and you lost thousands of dollars from a ruined vacation. Unconscionable on their part.

2021-05-14My family and I got appointments for Covid testing. CVS made the process easy and were very professional and Communicative. I never had to get out of the car! Thank you CVS team.
