The pharmacists are very polite but as far as getting a prescription on time… don’t hold your breathe. My daughter has been on a seizure medication for 2 years and like clock work they never have it in stock. No matter how many times I’m reassured that they will have it next time, they never do. If you have a choice take your business elsewhere.

You gotta harass these people for any type of prescription you send in. Ive consistently had bad experiences with this CVS location specifically, but unfortunately its the closest to me. Recently, my doctor had sent a prescription in and it sat for two days. I found out from calling them myself that they had been out of stock, and they hadnt even placed an order. By the time they did it was already the weekend, and didnt arrive for another few days. If you ever call in here ahead of time make sure to call and remind these guys before you even think about leaving the house 🤣🤣🤣!

The ladies are super nice, but when I try to get my meds I call in and they say it will be ready first thing in the morning, I go or my fiancée will go and they are like oh it will be ready at 1:30 its like why would you say or an employee say it will be ready by 830am. I mean I understand they open at 8 but I believe they should go in at 7am and start filling and have ppl start to pick up their meds.

I transferred my prescription to this location when Covid hit. I cannot tell you how much time and energy I have spent just trying to get my prescription refilled every three months. I am on the auto-refill text system, and this always worked seamlessly at the old location that is now closed. Wasted trips after being assured the order was ready, phone calls to find out it hadnt yet been ordered or delivered, asked to wait 20 minutes at pick-up because they were working on it, then finding out they needed to order the medication anyway. I called in yesterday and used the automated system to refill when I hadnt received a follow up text after ten days. By then I was out of the medication. Was told to pick up after 3pm. I purposely waited until today to pick up, only to find out the med had to be ordered?! They are very nice, but thats not working anymore. Each time I explained my frustration they assured me it would never happen again, that the problem was fixed. But it continues to happen with a different excuse each time. They dont seem to be connected to the automated service that sends a text saying when an order will be filled? I should transfer to a new location, but this is closest and I like to have faith in people. At this point it is almost comical.Update: I raised it a star because I finally had a pharmacist explain the situation. Due to Covid and supply chain shortages it is harder to get certain meds, and this has to be ordered one at a time for me to pick up a three month supply, and it’s not always available.

This location has the worst pharmacy customer service I have ever encountered. Once you get through all the automated prompts, you are put on hold. Each and every time I call, I have waited a minimum of 15 minutes. Today I have been on the phone 50 minutes, most of which have been on hold, before my issue with the pharmacy was finally resolved. Once I was finally able to talk to a real person, the problem was identified and, hopefully, correctly. I know everyone is short staffed but there is no excuse to keep someone on hold for such an extended period of time. My issue was not life threatening, thankfully, but if it had been, the outcome could have been disastrous.

Every time my doctor sends over a prescription I have to call them to make sure they are actually physically filling it. I get the Sorry, we will have it ready in an hour go there an hour later and its not filled yet. Worst pharmacy ever. No wonder they are closing a majority of their brick and mortar stores. I wish they would go out of business altogether so my Insurance doesnt have them as a pharmacy choice.

I use to really like this pharmacy. But the service has gone down hill. I had an antibiotic sent in Thursday and went in today (Saturday) to pick it up and was told it was not ready and I could come back in 20 minutes. The last time I picked up I drove away and when I stopped at the light I pulled the prescription from the bag and found I had someone else’s prescription. Different name right on the label. As I sit here waiting the 20 minutes at 9:30 am, I can not help but notice how dirty this area is also. Someone forgot to vacuum.

Great a place, if you dont need your meds right away. Took them 5 days to fill my prescription. 5 days.

The Pharmacy always takes for ever. I was forced to leave Walgreens due to my insurance and now I have to go to CVS and the wait times are ridiculous and I get informed that my meds are ready and they never are... I go in person and Im told theyll be ready in 2 to 3 more days.TEXT ME TELLING

I work in Skokie, had to pick up my prescription before they closed, drove an hour and got there RIGHT at 8:00 p.m. sharp. Pharmacy staff was still there BUT they said they couldnt help me because they were closed. Said that I had to come back at 8:00 a.m. the next day. Way to go above and beyond, folks! Wont forget it.
