Costco Wholesale in other cities:
Its a good place to come it was busy but didnt have to wait no longer than 5 minutes to check out they have good prices the skinny popcorn big bags for $3.99 not bad at all in other places are a little more pricey they sell flowers they look fresh I recommend this store
This Costco is an amazing place, very close to me and finds everything you need. I have been an executive member for more than 7 years now and never had any issues so far.Staff is very kind and helpful, very knowledgeable in what they do.One small thing I want to say is some items like organic lentils (toor dal), royal organic basmati rice, royal organic sona masoori rice are hard to see in store or online these days, not sure what the reason is but this has been a disappointment for us.
Try to do it early if you can the weekends are crazy its too crowded if you buy in bulk I guess you can save a little bit of money but with this price of gasoline and diesel fuel I think were not doing too good as far as savings cost a lot more to get the goods to everybody now cuz of the price of fuel its only going to get worse Look at California $10 a gallon
What I like most here is to have halal meat. There are very nice lamb chops. And 8 of them cost between $ 12-18 at very affordable prices. and water 40 liter pack is only $ 3. Very decent environment. The employees are very friendly and friendly. Everywhere is very clean and tidy, by the way, when you enter inside, you are also aware of very nice downloads. Many thanks Costco for Muslim Guys and community
This is by far the most disappointing Costco locations I have been to and its really surprising how they let it happen. It is located in a strip mall, which far too small for the foot traffic. The place is cramped, feels claustrophobic, the parking situation is somewhere between bad and horrible, the gas station is a pain to get in or out.Apart from the selection and pricing, it does not stand up to what we get to expect from Costco.
The cashiers at this location are usually very rude. They act like they’re miserable people who hate their jobs. They complain when things are left in the cart even after telling me to leave items in the cart. When I ask questions they ignore me. Go to the Bloomingdale location instead.
I wanted to stop at another Costco separate from the one that I usually shop at. I was in Schaumburg on some other errands and I thought hey why not theres one close by. It kind of amazes me that not all of the Costcos are the same size. The one nearest to me in Loves Park, IL is actually much larger. But I wanted to stop to see if different Costcos had different stock owing to the socioeconomic status or wealth potential in a wealthier neighborhood. I dont think that really bore out. Prices were pretty much the same as my Costco. And I dont think they had any additional stock that my Costco doesnt have. All in all it was a pleasurable experience and I enjoyed it but Im not sure that Costco stocks are different from building to building.
This Costco is one of the best around. I usually go on Wednesday when they have lots vendors giving away free samples of food. I buy a good portion of clothing from there as part of my business Green Extraction Technologies,LLC yearly clothing allowance for several deserving employees.
My gf and I got our Moderna boosters and perused the massive aisles of incredibly priced goods on this day. Costco has been a family staple since I was a little boy and continues to be virtually the same to this day and I appreciate that. My diet has changed since then and I was happy to see that they are branching out into more vegan options.
This is one of the best Chicagoland area Costco experiences. Despite being rather busy on a rainy Thursday evening, the lines were quick in both the checkout and the cafeteria. Great selection of items that I don’t notice at other places. I’d be happy to go here again! Enjoy!
Recently bought new tires in Lake Zurich amd and had to return for safety check and went to Schaumburg being in the area. Afterward, we stopped inside and pretty much the same as Lake Zurich, but we were shopping for office chairs and found they had less on-hand selection.
Costco is always great. However, this particular location is usually busier than other Costcos Ive been to. They finally added self check out lanes!! Its about time as there are plenty of times I just need a couple of things and had to wait in a long line. The crew is always friendly and the experience is similar as other Costco locations. Go at an off time and youll find plenty of parking and quick checkout.
The store in itself as far as options available is 5 star, but I think to a cooperate level there need to be some system wide changes. I had to almost get into an argument to shop for my parents, when my mom was at the time in the hospital in recovery from open heart. I was getting grocery’s that they needed for when she got home.. and Jesus I get I’m not on their “account” but I’m doing this in a time of need and Costco got all the membership dues they need from our family. Costco must train workers to act like it’s a federal crime with the smallest deviation from the wrong person having a card, when it’s even in the direct family. Really inconvenient not accepting one of the most accepted cards in the entire world and not giving aisle descriptions is something that is very handy at Sam’s club. For what Costco offers and provides.. it’s wonderful.. I hold nothing against specific workers.. as they as they are trained. Just be more understanding because most everyone wouldn’t lie about a family emergency in order to use their PARENTS membership card.. for THEM.
Gaa used to be cheaper here but it is the same price as other stations. I love this store. It amazes me to see all of those consumables in one place. They reach way up to those high ceilings and stretch for what seems to be miles. If you get hungry while you wander the vast expanse consumerism at its best you can snack on the many sample tables posted around the store, yum yum! You can find anything your heart desires from electronic to tires to tacos. Its good to be a member!
This store is terrible when it comes to customer service. Every order I to be delivered is always cancelled without notice. The last thing Ive ordered I didnt know was cancelled and I wasnt contacted until after the estimated delivery date. When i called to customer service I was hung up on multiple times when I demanded to speak to a manager. I spend over $12,000 every year to keep my business account active. i am days away from cancelling my membership and just ordering from Amazon business. Please use caution with this place.
4 stars because of the parking situation and the congestion that is always near the front door. Also, there are long and dangerous lines in the middle of roadway sometimes for gasoline. As far as the store goes, its very clean and the staff is always very friendly. They are always willing to help and their food is amazing. One of the best costco stores in Chicagoland.
Terrible pharmacy experience, being be littled by kathy all summer long and now winter at costco blonde straight hair , cashier , flips her name tag calling patients pet names such as sweetie, hun, dear its a violation of federal law. While im standing there mentally unstable bc of the delivery guys delivering pills late. Poor computer system needs updated. Kathy needs to watch customer service modules on how to talk to people.
Its not a fancy place to shop but I Love shopping here there croissant is the best I also love the clothes here brand name good quality for good prices there fruit are pricey but the quality is so good. very good deals for alot of stuff o its worth it to have the membership . They have alot of keto choices with good price (bread, icecream) is my favorite.
I am a Costco fan. I love the store. While this one is one of my favorites because of its tendency to have more food products I prefer. Its also the one that I like the least. Its very busy and parking is always an issue. It seems smaller than other stores. Frequently out of stock (pre-pandemic). The layout of the entrance and exit and how the carts are stored drives me crazy. To get a cart your dashing between exiting customers.
Do not recommend ordering offline!! The order I received was COMPLETELY wrong. I ordered spring roses for Mother’s Day and they sent me HOLIDAY roses. It literally says the wrong name of the roses on the roses themselves so I don’t know how this happened! I am completely disappointed and will not be ordering from Costco.com nor will I recommend others to.On the plus side, customer service was very kind, they were not able to get me the correct flowers by 5/9 but gave me a complete refund.
Great service at this location. The store is well maintained and organized, clean and the staff is always helpful. I shop here once a week and Ive never had an issue. I will mention that I wish their gas station had Diesel. This is a very busy location especially on weekends and parking can be difficult but never a problem if you dont mind walking a bit.
Costco is same almost most of the place. This is placed at the right place in the middle of 4 cities. Almost reachable from the cities Hoffman, Palatine Schaumburg, Rolling Meadows and Elk Grove village. The alcohol section has been rearranged to be a little open. Voila we have self checkout counters !!
Bought hearing aids from Costco hearing department over a year ago. Made appt for yearly free check up, had to make a second follow up appt due to wax buildup. This appt scheduled 1 month out, this Wednesday. Associate called today left msg to rescheule due to understaffed issues. I returned call, she seemed clueless, but then said she had called me. December is next appt time. I have referred Costco hearing dept to others, but my follow is bad service after the sale.
Avoid this location! Staff in returns are lazy. 1 person working, another flirting with the coworker, another just standing ignoring the line. You try to get there attention for help and they pass you over to someone else. I love Costco just not this location. Customer service is the worst in this location.
Awful experience at this location! Was given the wrong receipt at the check out and then held hostage at the door for 15 minutes while they tried to find the correct receipt. The man checking receipts was literally holding my cart and informed me that he needs the correct receipt to make sure “I didn’t steal anything”. It wasn’t until I asked to speak to a manager that a nice lady reprinted my receipt in 30 seconds. For a company that supposedly takes pride in customer service this was unacceptable.
I can’t say enough about the hassle in buying some items that are limited to ‘x’ amount, and the sign saying so reads like a fine print. I wish I could share the images on this review. What a crowd too on Labor Day weekend. I had to take the items I was allowed to purchase to my car, and return to buy the other item I needed. This is a first as I love shopping at Costco.
Some dudes are very disrespectful to customers and was made a fun of one of the store guy today after made a big purchase. Then went to Jewel Osco and treated so nicely and service was excellent and Costco shame on you for hiring street guys with no customer experience at all.
It’s overall a great place. It can be a little crowded, especially on the weekends, but that’s probably because so many people like this Costco. They even sell tofu and Ezekiel bread! I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been going to Costco for over 10 years.
2/2021 WE enjoy this Costco. People are key. They are always helpful here and friendly. Enough staff that I can always find someone fairly quickly if I have a question. And they always seem to know the answers! Occasionally I need to go to Customer Service for some question and they are happy to look things up, find products at another location, etc. They have ideas on how to locate what I am looking for and have even taught me things on my app. I enjoy this location and will continue to keep them as my main Costco.1/2020 We love the deals. Place is always clean. And of course the staff is pretty friendly.
All 4 women at the all open customer service, walked away while I was approaching the counter. I stood there and they just where talking to each other, as if nobody was waiting for them. Then there was a guy doing something at the computer, I said hello! And he just plain ignored me. A nice gentleman then saw the situation and approached me, I just wanted a balance of a gift card I have. Worst customer service ever!!
While checking out today I was accosted by an employee who said there is a problem with your card loudly to everyone around me. in the confusion I was lead to a computer terminal where he brought up my information and then proceeded to tell me that I should be upgrading my membership to executive level. embarrassed I declined but he continued to follow me out. needless to say I am not renewing my membership and will instead be going to sams club. i know its not a loss for costco but maybe someone else has had this happen to them. youre not alone.
Definitely worth the membership if youre shopping for the family. Great deals and coupons. They have been very safe with covid protocol. Mask are required to enter. Now they also sell applications which I never knew until I went in the other day. We have bought meat from Costco not bad but not the best either. Everything is bulk buy. There is a dog section with dog and cat food and treats. If you really like the shop at Costco, theyre citi bank credit is awesome with cash back.
I went to Costco Schaumburg with my 18 month old baby today. We purchased an oversized heavy item. After unloading my carts of smaller items and my son into the car, I was walking back to moved the oversized box into the front seat of the car. That’s is when Gonzo (employee who came to take the carts in the parking lot) just walked up and dropped his rope and helped move the box into the car without me asking. He was all smiles and so polite. I was so thankful. My hip was in pain today and was dreading to move the box but I didn’t have to, thanks to Gonzo. He really made my day. Thank you!!!
This warehouse is always full of stuff, fresh veggies and fruits. This place is an organized, no matter how crowded it is. You will find place to navigate. They always put board at the gate for out of stock items, if you are looking for one those items you can simply avoid going into the warehouse that will save your time.
Great prices and high quality of product. Try the New York Deli Style freshly baked Bagels, cheesecake and giant muffins, the kale salad kit, large baked chickens, fresh fruits & veggies. Costco does a great job of disinfecting the common areas along with the carts upfront.
Mark & Andrew the wireless advocates at this store were unbelievable! These guys should get a pay raise!!! Godwin, I hear you are in charge of that (make it happen!) Seriously! The store closed at 6 and they stayed on the phone with AT&T customer service to make sure I was taken care of. I’ve never experienced customer service and sacrifice like this ever before. GREAT job! Andrew and Mark - you guys truly get it!
Not today! Friday 03/05/21@ 3pm.The lady by the entrance is rude👎. Never yell to a customer if you dont want being yelled. Educate yourself on how to treat customers that spends money in your work..There are some rude staff in Schaumburg. It happened also one time when I was picking water that is not moist inside and the guy yelled because I want those newly stacked water and he said its reserved? Its BS! Why you will put package of water in the area if its reserved? Keep it in your stock room. I need fresh water for my baby and dont yell
Too much crowd, well its Costco so you get good price for bulk buying but too much crowd is a concern in Covid. Sams club is not as crowded as Costco and provide Mobile checkout for faster shopping experience. I hope Costco comes up with better app as current app is very bad
One of the better Costcos in the surrounding areas. Staffs are helpful and most have been here for a while as I still see the familiar faces after 10 plus years. Customer Service desk is usually busy but never short staffed. Gas station is clean, but the best time to go is earlier in the morning after they open or an hour before closing. Downsides are mainly the crowd during weekends and the lack of cart return stalls in the side over flow parking lots. I hv purchased batteries in the auto department and service was prompt and efficient as well.
Costco is one of my favorite places to shop. They always have very good deals on everything. Best days are when you get free food samples and most of the times I end up buying that stuff because they are so good. They are very good with returns and refunds. I have never been disappointed with their services. Every penny you pay for membership is worth it.
I am disappointed with your Citi credit card. I have paid my full outstanding balance and is $0.00 but your customer rep tells me that I have a hold until next week because i maxed out the credit. This is so funny when I ask him what my outstanding balance, he tells me oh its zero. This is such a scam from Citi and Costco, you pay $160 fee at costco to be the member and you cant even use it for all the advertised rip off cash backs that you guys advertise. I needed to buy a freaking couch and I have to hold my plans until next week just so that I can get the cash back that you guys promised, its like a highway robbery, shame on Citi bank and Costco, big dis appointment and the customer service guy from Citi is so useless. when you try to get help from costco they point to Citi and they are just a bug disappointment. I really hope Costco will go back to other Credit card company.
Midweek mid day seems to be the best time to go, gets crowded during peak times. Great staff, I got a ton of info from the TV expert on hand one day I wish I remembered his name. Cashiers are quick and friendly too. Great prices, but if you shop Costco, you know that.
While trying to checkout my baby had had enough so I picked her up. At which she pulled my mask off repeatedly. I was trying to keep it on due to others in the store. I was yelled at by an employee and told me I was a bad parent because I could not control my 8 month old. My other baby was also struggling so I was just trying to hurry to checkout. I was told unless I could keep mask on they would not allow me to pay for my diapers and food. I was forced to leave the store while my fiance stayed behind to checkout. This is not how you should treat a member or another human. The cashier and manager did apologize to my fiance but the whole experience has me questioning if I should keep my membership if I cannot even be treated like a person and talked to with respect.
Unfortunately my last recent visit with this store was not the best. The main reason is the Customer Service. There will be people who truly want to help and then there are those who don’t care. I made a call the following day to ask one question. I got transfer for over 30 minutes . Spoke briefly to four different people. If the store has the same policy for my question. Why didn’t the first associate just gave me a straight response. The last associate didn’t give me an apology that I deserved. I’m very disappointed. I will not be renewing my membership. #samsclubisbetter
The hearing aide department is amazing. Kathryn Otto and Kathy Winget do an amazing job. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous! Outstanding ladies! Top notch! Will not go anyplace else! Nor should you. On my 3rd pair of hearing aides purchased here. The last set lasted 6 1/2 yrs with their help.
Always busy, always good deals, great employees. Costco has been doing a great job weathering the crisis and was one of the few stores to have a little of everything during the panic buying spree that COVID-19 brought on.On Saturday, it becomes a zoo with free admission with your Costco membership. Parking becomes near impossible. People honking their horns left and right. Tons of free samples! Lines 50 feet long, which move fast. If you are on your phone ANYWHERE on Costco property, expect to be asked to move because youre probably blocking somebodys cart. Not exactly pleasant, but just the right amount of directness to get the point across without coming off as rude.I used to eat here almost every weekday, instead of at the college cafeteria, because the food is so cheap and filling. Those days are pretty much over, but that isnt so regarding the prices. You can still get a hot dog and a drink for $1.50 and thats a real bargain. Not as many condiments as there used to be, but I attribute that more-so to COVID and inflation. All in all, what else is there to say? Kudos to them for opening up that space next to the building to make a parking lot. It has helped tremendously.
Never been prouder of Costco in these hard and critical days, did such and splendid job protecting staff and customers safe. I was so impressed with how they were managing stuff and keeping things clean, maintaining distance among costumers, constantly cleaning areas and more importantly, FULL of goods like a normal day, way different and better than many other known companies which their staff act like its a normal day without any additional measures for these day.
Can’t find any one to help me when IM aim the Shaumburg storeWhen I finally found someone to help with a deskIt was like I was bothering this young manAns when I was trying to have him help me find out if the item would be back in stock Oh !!😡He just gave me the run around like tough luck !Until I had to ask 3 times to get more infoThen I saw he went to the bath room area and S said He Did not know when it would come in that there was no info 😡And I should just keep on coming back ! To checkAnother thing. Mask wearing the Employees need to know how to keep a mask on propertyCover your Nose and Mouth !!! And if it’s to small to do that get a bigger one !!’
Today in Schaumburg (12/16/2020) I was out shopping at Woodfield mall with my father. (Who is Legally blind and cant drive) We had some bags from different stores and we walked over to Costco to kill some time before being picked up by my Mother. As we entered the store my Father was yelled at by the woman checking our cards that we couldnt have bags inside the store. My Father kindly replied that he had a disability and cant drive and she still continues to yell at him. Finally we just walked past. Then another guy that works there begins to say. Are those returns? My dad once again kindly says no and that he is legally blind and cant drive. The employee still starts to say to him well you cant have those bags in here. So we walk past again telling him to call the police because we are doing nothing wrong. But get this as we walk out where everything gets checked we didnt get stopped once. Now if this store was really worried about us stealing they would have checked our bags. How could I fit something so huge from Costco into a small lovisa bag. This experience was horrible and made my dad feel embarrassed about his disability. This is really how they treat people with disabilities. They dont....
The store is amazing except that it got a new store manager, who started to reinforce 2 people per membership rule. So now if you have more than 2 people in your household, need to get another membership even though its the same household. Such a rip off! Better of switching to Sams club.
I can always find what I am looking for at Costco. The location I go to is very clean and organized. The staff at the Algonquin location is courteous and friendly and I have not been pressured to switch to Executive membership. I have visited other locations and one in particular was a bad experience. The cashier supervisor that was assisting my cashier with the portable checkout scanner asked me if I was interested in Executive Membership based on the quantity of items I was purchasing. I responded with No Thanks. He then started making negative comments about me (my gender, weight and what I was buying) while the cashier was ringing up my items. My cashier was speechless and gave apologies. I will continue to go to the Algonquin location. As for the other one I will steer clear. Yes I did report that employee to the store manager. Its all fine now..
This place might be one of the smaller Costcos, but it has excellent service all the time.I had an eye appointment here and I was misinformed that my insurance was accepted here by a friend at work but I went anyways. I was late for the appointment by 20 mins ( Im awful I know ) but they kindly called me and I rushed over and they took me with a smile and kind tone regardless. I went through the appointment in such a stupor and felt out of place but the kind clinic technicians were patient with me. Halfway through the appointment I was told my insurance was not accepted. I felt so embarrassed but the sweet technicians told me I could just leave and I wasnt charged for their time.I was grateful to leave without a bill and a smile instead. The service desk up front runs things very efficiently as does the cafe. Lines go fast.So while this is a smaller location, I have to hand it to the various employees here who work hard to hand that smile off because Lord knows my confused face doesnt deserve it most of the time. Thanks to all there.
I always do my grocery shopping here. We love Costcos Brand. We are 7 people at home so its really worth it coming here for groceries. But yesterday I found some cheap clothings I can use for winter. Love them jackets, joggers, shirts and vest. Excellent brands you cant pass.
Everything you would expect from Costco....great products, great price and service...low gas prices etc. With regard to this particular location, the only thing that I am not a big fan of is the parking. I feel it is a bit crammed and during busy hours it can get quite congested and chaotic. Also the line of cars at the gas station can get so long that it sometimes blocks the in/out traffic. So I just try to avoid busy times at this location.
Overall staff is pretty nice. But Customer Service was poor. My last experience there was not a good one. I went in for only a couple items and was in a hurry. On my way checking out they scanned my card and told me they had a promotion for me for possibly getting some cash back. Which is awesome and I appreciate them letting me know. I politely said no thank you as I am in a hurry today. The manager that let me know was rude about it and made unnecessary comments to me after. wow buddy, okay I wish someone would offer me free money, must be nice to be you. Was very unprofessional. This isnt the first time he has made those comments at check out either. If thats how he handles rejection at his job, I can only imagine how he handles rejection in his relationships. Just my opinion. Will definitely be going to a different location from here out.
This Costco is always insanely packed with people no matter what time or day you visit. Not sure why, but people tend to stand in the middle of the road in the parking lot, adding to a frustrating experience and my shopping cart has had its items removed because someone was too lazy to get their own. That being said, the employees make for the rude customers who come to this store. Theyre very nice, helpful, and keep the store well stocked/cleaned.
Its all right. They do have a lot of stuff and good pricing on most. Only thing I dont like is the misleading pricing in the cold food section thats a lot of it is price per pound but the price tag really doesnt let you know that unless you look closely so you end up with a nice surprise at the register some tires. Mostly Im a Costco member for the credit card.
Great prices for some things like most other comparable stores. Usually good customer service. Big selection of goods. The only annoying thing (and I get why they push this) is constantly feeling nearly pressured into getting a better membership so we can get rewards we dont want. I have worked in customer service at a retail chain beforeNot many people enjoy the upselling & pushy (albeit friendly) approach to sales.
I absolutely love my local Costco,I can stop and get gas on the way in,(at a great price) and then into the store for all my essentials. The only downside is theres only my wife and I so some of the items just come in too great a quantity for just the 2 of us,but Im able to buy many of the things we use regularly at a great price.I havent used all the services they offer buy I have used many starting with the car buying program that I used to buy a car,I also has tires put on one of our cars at their tire cebter and I couldnt have been happier with the whole experience.I mentioned I get my gas at their gas station.I have used the pharmacy before and that was a good experience. The employees are just a nice b unch of people,Costco must be nice to their employees because everyone Ive had contact with at our local Costco are friendly, cheerful, and helpful.
The staff is nice but something is missing. This is the only Costco Ive been to where they start shutting off the light shortly after 6 as in 3 minutes after 6. Our Pizza got messed up two or three times but we let it go and then today I stand in line for 10 minutes only to be told that theyre not taking any more orders and it still was not even 6 p.m. which they said is there cut off for pizza orders.Better communication with customers will prevent this from feeling from happening again and dont rush me out the door.
My experience at this location is consistently positive. Choose your time to visit! I have been to literally dozens of Costco stores (business reasons) in the US and Canada. This one is on the small side, but they carry everything the other stores stock... just fewer registers (which is proper under the circumstances). In my professional opinion... management at this store ensures satisfaction, always. Staff ability, cleanliness and everything else is always first rate here. My only complaint is that Costco allows returns for just about anything, for no good reason. And, people really abuse this, to the eventual ($) detriment of the honorable, responsible members. Shame on those jerks. They dont understand karma, but they will...
Employees are pretty rude and not willing to help at all.Returns are almost impossible despite the fact Costco return policy states 100% buy warranty.Try to return a defective item to only being accused to switch it for something else!!!Dont even dare to ask to get cash back for a return as youll encounter another battle.Costco corporate please check this warehouse!
Kirkland house brand items are excellent quality . Fresh produce and meats are excellent. Great selection of wine.Great prices on OTC meds. Pharmacy prices are very good too.Great selection of rotating seasonal inventory.Kirkland mens crew socks hold up really well!Watch for coupon specials!
This Costco is exactly like my hometown Costco, but the set up is reversed. It is nice to know that everything at a Costco in one location is similar to that of another location. I did not have to fumble around. They always have the variety from electronics to the photo gallery printing area, to furnishing good and store items that you would find at a grocery store or pharmacy. I love the familiarity, even down to the same low prices for pizza, hotdogs, and other items at their cafe. What made this trip special was the fact that I left the counter in a hurry and a nice gentleman employee stopped me as I was leaving to hand me back my Costco card. It is nice to see kindness like that.
Review of Optical section: great precautions against COVID - they take your temp before youre allowed into the optical area and any glasses you try on get discarded for cleaning. They are only allowing a few people in the section at a time too. The employee who helped us took her time, and offered to call my opthomologist Monday to get an answer we needed!Tl:Dr, great staff and great safety procedures. Great value too!
I look forward to shopping at Costco. While some items come and go, there are many items I need that are reliably in stock--and are incredibly affordable compared to grocery stores. Organic whole-wheat bread, sharp cheddar cheese, frozen fruit, vitamins, snacks, and more. Shop and save! A membership pays for itself.Since Im writing this review during the novel coronavirus pandemic, I should also mention that I feel safest shopping at Costco compared to other stores. While restrictions have been relaxed from what they were earlier in the year, they still sanitize carts, require facemasks, enforce social distancing at checkout, and offer contactless checkout with shields.
Be careful while doing checkout at the counter when dealing with the cash payment. I have made partial cash payment and rest in credit card. I spoke the cash amount to the cashier but the cashier entered wrong cash amount. I notice within 2 mins and asked them to check for the transaction. Employee are in rush to go home and dont handle customer properly. The manager and employee had counted the register and replied that we dont have any extra amount in our register. We all counted money properly and they say we didnt get any extra amount. The employee/manager didnt even respond properly. I think the employee need to know how to handle customers. There should be some security to handle this kind of situations. The verification process was all manual so how we will trust the process.
Whats not to love how about Costco?! Everything here is, of course, a great price. But some of the things that really stand out are the produce, which is always fresh, the meats, which are outstanding, and the coffee. Oh yes, the coffee! Im a big-time coffee snob and some of the best coffee one can buy anywhere is available from Kirkland, Costcos name brand. The beans arent all dried out, but retain a nice patina of oil, and the smell...the bouquet...oh, how I love coffee.Freshness is, I believe, the reason why Kirkland is so great. Its produced on a grand scale, but flies off the shelves so fast everything is as fresh as can be.
Not really much to say about Costco. The place is too busy honestly for my liking. The quantities are usually too big to really be useful. I dont really bother to roam around the store as we once did. The majority of people are just overwhelmingly rude. I find it best to get what I come for (only 1-2 things anymore) and be on my merry way...
Not the same as it was 20 years ago. The in store staff needs to be trained in how to provide quality customer service. Online purchase was the worst experience ever. Customer service call center staffed by teens who are completely clueless as to how to do their job and help with online transactions. Complete joke that members pay for. Not what Id expect with an Executive Membership.
Very clean well run facility. If you look past all the product and amazing deals, youll find a team of employees who communicate effortlessly and in unison. You know a facility is operating at its best when you dont notice the staff on the floor while you shop but are just a few feet away as soon as you realize you need assistance.Fantastic store, fantastic team. Well done!
Me favorite Costco by far. Been to many many Costco but I love this Costcos layout and selections. The staff is super friendly and lines move pretty fast even on weekends when it is quite busy and backed up.Returns are no hastle - but thats true in all Costcos not just here. The employees have a good rapport amongst themselves - almost like a family all helping each other out
This is a great place. Good discounts on items for buying bulk, friendly employees, good gas prices. It is great for people that have a lot of people to feed, but maybe be a bit much for an individual. Also, their selection is limited compared to a normal grocery store when it comes to some types of items. As fas as Costcogo though, this is a good one!
Poor experience from customer who loves to shop a lot at Costco.. We went to purchase some house hold necessities and this is our first visit at this branch. We were denied checking out because the membership card belongs to my bf’s father who was waiting in the car. Cashier said non transferable member can only shop. Member was waiting in parking lot because he wasn’t feeling well. Unhappy with treatment we got.
I have both a Sams and Costco membership and whereas they are very similar, I feel that the Costco tends to have just a little better quality. By this, I mean that Sams occasionally sells some off-brands. At one time, I shopped more at the Sams because they had more locations and some were real handy but a few years ago they closed the ones that I found most convenient. Now Costco is my go-to warehouse club.
I had to return an item and the transaction was handled correctly and efficiently. Also, I lost my cell phone in the parking lot and someone was kind enough to turn in to Costco lost and found. I came back and Charles had me describe my phone and he had in the office for safekeeping. Kudos to all and a great big thank you.
Costco is amazing. This one has a nice gas station and plenty of parking. I personally love this location as the employees are very kind and friendly. It is always busy for a reason and grabbing a tasty slice of pizza or a hotdog on your way out for a couple bucks is an unbeatable deal. Plus sampling food items while roaming the store waiting for your tires to get rotated is an excellent perk!
Smile matters, right? Anybody knows why less smile was there in Costco these days? I ask myself: Is greeters smile really matters? Yes, it should be! Is the cashiers smile matters? Yes! Shopping for groceries is routine and boring... But years before, I was attracted by the smile on the faces of Costco staffs. Then I discovered there were a lot of fun stuff there. I enjoyed going to Costco rather than Sams Club. Unfortunately now I was counted as a number by the greeter. This time even the cashier looked away from me when its my turn. No more smile. Even worst, the face of the staff who checked my receipt at the exit was as cold as outside. Today was February 7, 2019. It should have been warmer inside Costco, but it was as cold as the freezing rain outside Woodfield Mall. Were they as unhappy as I did in Costco? thanks
The stocking system is a mess. I wanted to buy this desk on display but they told me that there are 5 new ones on the way and ask me to come back the second day. The second day I called twice and they told me they have 2 in the systems. When I came, nothing left! Not even the display one I saw the day before. I would have got that one if everyone hadn’t tried to tell me that they have new ones in stock! Also I wasted my time coming here twice and get nothing!
Just love hunting for supplies. Food and drink, clothing and furniture, entertainment and decorating. Costco has something for every one. Ill stop in and fill gas. THEN up and down the isles looking for new and old favorites.ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL SUCCESSFUL.What will you bring home from your next Costco Adventure? If you sign up for membership tell them Joe sent you. They will say Joe Who...thats me...
For a Costco, its great; no issues. The biggest problem is the parking lot. Because of its size along with the Costco gas-station, parking and just driving through this parking lot requires all the patience in the world. But once you park and are inside, no problems.
Everyone knows that Costco is only membership based bulk store from groceries, electronics , appliances, furniture etc . Membership is on annually based and ranges between $80 and up but things they do not tell is they will send you discount check by end of your membership and that check is based on your purchases through whole year so you can use it as a part of your membership or to purchase anything in a store ok now we are familiar with all that . There is no better prices around to by anything in bulk great store for families this prices are unbeatable one example is you can get the whole roasted chicken cooked and ready to eat for $4.99 !! You might say hey I can find this and that but this is real quality for unbeatable price ..and this was only one example there is plenty others and this is not only store I go too . So I suggest try it and you will seeGood luck!!!
This Costco location is set up well. The aisles feel a little wider than other locations. This allows extra space to maneuver around the store. I think the selection is really good too. There are a few items that Ive found here that werent available in other locations.
Come here often. No complaints, save a lot. Definitely worth it. We were pushed to upgrade our membership last year. I think we upgraded to the Executive Membership Card, whichever one is supposed to give you a percentage of what you spend back after 1 year and refund you if its less than the price of the membership. Surprisingly, we didnt earn the full price of the membership back, and they gladly refunded us. DO consider upgrading before BIG PURCHASES such as furniture and TVs! You would really earn a lot back.
Decent deals, but not always the cheapest option. Some of the prepared food and meal kits are really good. Usually hood quality packaged food, produce is not as reliable and we have had more than one Kirkland brand jug if milk go bad before the expiration date. Im talking going chunky. Good for buying cleaning supplies and other things you want to have in bulk, but doesnt have all the staples like marshmallows and distilled water normal grocery stores have.
Go to another Costco!!! Used to be my favorite store but since this whole covid started store employees became maniacs. They are mean, not friendly whatsoever! I got yelled at the door by an employee in front of my two kids because my mask was not put on properly. Very unprofessional

2022-04-09We bought more than we could carry and this is my secondary Costco. I was really pleased with Kevin who went above and beyond what he needs to do.He got us a string in the pouring rain to tie down the hatch around the oversized item.Great job! Much appreciated.

2022-04-24This is a great Costco. Very large space and excellent service. Always clean, and fully stocked. They always have everything you need and I love coming here to shop for groceries, staples and everything else in-between. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have awesome deals but this helped confirm all the great benefits you get from a Costco membership that definitely make it worth it. Highly recommend.

2021-12-26This store sure does have more selections then the Schaumburg store however it has a darker vibe to it! The staff is friendlier at the Schaumburg location hands down with their service and organization of the store!

2022-06-17We are extremely satisfied with the products. This place has some kind of positive aura that makes you feel good if you are in the store and it creates a positive shopping experience. I will always continue to shop at Costco! Thanks Costco for the great quality combined with great offers.

2022-06-06Busy location, but one of the better Costco locations Ive been to so far. Great selection here and I always end up getting a deal that makes the membership fee worth it.Check outs are efficient for how busy it gets. Occasionally, Ill get a mistake during check out, but its rare for the most part. (Either they scan something twice or miss an item and I have to go back and get checked out again). Its worth it for not having to wait 10 minutes in line.

2022-06-22Mike at the membership counter is amazing. We came back 1 year later & he remembered myself and my husband. He’s so helpful & full of knowledge. Advised us on Costco travel & we used for our honeymoon and anniversary trip and we saved a fortune. Forever Costco members because of Mike!

2022-06-19Love this store! Employees are helpful and nice… although always in a hurry. Great produce, well organized. You need to understand the busy hours for gas and shopping otherwise you hit long lines. This store has a lot of business!

2022-06-13Very odd layout compared to other Costco locations we have visited. This one was very dark and cold feeling as well. All in all, it serves its purpose, but I would not like if this had to become my primary Costco location, would probably cancel the membership, it is that bad.

2021-06-08Incredible customer service, great deals, and great food options. Not to mention best gas prices in the area. If you have more than just a studio apartment, the membership is worth it. Primary items you want to prioritize for Costco purchases are Toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, pet food (unless they have allergies - then stick to Purina Pro Plan or natural brands) and gasoline.
