I can not say enough about CoLab. I friggin love this place. I work in the non profit world as a consultant and as a founder. Last year, I was creating a new initiative and many CoLab members helped out. The guts of the latest not for profit was birthed out of CoLab. It is a creative magical place. For me I witnessed service in action. The space itself is full of life and light. There is always access to tea and coffee and it allows someone to be fully engaged or disengaged if you need to. You can walk to local restaurants if you didnt bring something to eat or if you need to clear your head its only a few blocks from the beach. It is convenient to the trains both the L and the Metra. If you drive, there are different parking options available. It is a little slice of heaven for any entrepreneur. Come check it out!
CoLab is a great to place to work. Airy, open space, high ceilings, lots of windows and lots of private areas when you need them. The people are friendly and the coffee is really good:) Id been working from home for years but switching to an office space changed my life, it was so much easier to get things done. Definitely recommend!

2022-05-02A great co-working space in Evanston.coLab was probably the best co-working space in Evanston for the price. The price was great especially for the private office. The WiFi was fast. The space was well lit. The toilet was clean. One feedback is the noise isolation between private offices, but thats the problem with other co-working spaces in the area too.In short, Id recommend coLab Evanston.

2022-05-04Our company, Ironbridge Software has been a member of coLab for 6 years now. Great location in downtown Evanston, its a quiet, attractive workspace. Super fast internet connections. Perhaps the best thing is our co-members. IT folks, marketers, engineers, community organizers, journalists. There is cross-fertilization of ideas and business.

2022-03-25I was traveling through Evanston and needed a conference room for a few hours. One email to Colab and Miguel hooked me up with a great conference room and fast WiFi. He really went out of his way and it saved me during a day where I had a couple of big meetings while traveling. Highly recommend.

2022-05-03Best co-working option in Evanston! I used to be at the Chicago and Main location and since that one close, Ive moved to the downtown Evanston location. Very nice facility, very friendly co-workers and Miguel is very flexible and helpful in helping you find the right solution for your specific needs. If you are looking for an office space that is not your home, look no further! And you get free coffee too!

2018-05-23Ive been working from coLab for over two years, and its been an amazing experience. Ive made friends, good contacts for collaborating with my own business, and will miss it when I leave in a month or two.The space is great! And in a really cool area of Evanston. For a co-working space, its great to be so close to the train, a Subway, a Starbucks and an even better coffeeshop if you want Stumptown coffee from Portland.Definitely worth it to be a member. And my experience got even better when I paid for a reserved desk, and didnt have to schlep my stuff back and forth from home all the time. Check it out!

2018-06-01I have been using coLab Evanston for around 4 years now and I would personally recommend it to anyone who runs a small business and needs a dedicated desk or a conference room to meet up with clients or for brainstorming activities. This place is great and provides everything you need to work. Miguel is a great guy and super easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place!

2019-01-18Ive been working at coLab South (Main and Chicago) since 2013 and highly recommend it. This office is near the Metra, the el and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants; also, paid and free parking options are plentiful. The owner, Miguel, is constantly upgrading and improving coLab, and the space is welcoming and large. You can choose to work at a desk or a shared long table, and theres plenty of room for you to work comfortably with a laptop, a meal and your files/personal items. Theres wifi, a printer, two conference rooms, two kitchens with coffee and two sets of restrooms. Plus, you get to work alongside other freelancers or small business owners, so theres an opportunity for friendly conversation and networking. You can also catch up with other members at one of the regular happy hours that Miguel hosts. Come and try it out for free for a day; I bet youll love it!

2020-05-21I worked at this location for a year and would encourage anyone who is looking for a coworking space to check it out! The people are really nice and it is interesting to hear about other people’s remote or freelancing jobs. The membership is really affordable compared to other coworking spaces.
