I was very impressed with the professionalism and communication from CB Automotive. My Silverado did not start and had to be towed. I called CB automotive and they arranged to have a flatbed come and pick up my truck that night. The following morning they promptly called me and told me that my truck needed a new starter and was still under the factory warranty and that they would bring it to a Chevy dealership of my choice at no cost to me. CB automotive has the best customer service I have ever seen. They are honest and go above and beyond for their customers. I will recommend then to all my friends and family.
L was a first timer and I was treated like a VIP at Christian Brothers Automotive. On a very short notice I was given an appointment to get my Honda looked at.They fixed my light and the battery terminal.They exceeded my expectations when it came to efficient work. This was my first experience with Christian Brothers Automotive. I needed new brake pads, rotor, and oil changed and their pricing was competitive but their service was excellent! They have a shuttle and were able to drop me off at my parents...which was a huge help since my husband and I have two young children that need car seats. Family friendly and clean.
Check engine light came on so I took it there to get it fixed and an oil change. got the car back and instantly the check engine light came back on. took it back and they replaced pressure sensor and purge valve. got the car back again and there was damage on the cars paint. talked with the owner and he said to take the car down to the body shop A&L and he would take care of the damage. Before I had a chance to take the car to the body shop the check engine light came on again so I returned the car to CB. I was going on a trip, Rob Gilland the owner said that they would have everything fixed by the time I returned. The car was not ready when I returned from my trip (10 days). When I finally picked up the car they did not fix the damage and refused to acknowledge it even though they put it on the invoice to be repaired. Once I picked up my car I immediately filled a police report and will be pursuing other actions. I originally took the car there 4/23/21 finally got my car back for the 3rd time 6/24/21. they had my car for basically 2 months, replaced parts that didnt need to be replaced and damaged my car and refused to fix it!! Talked with the corporate office and they said there was nothing they could do because this is a franchise location and its individually owned by Rob they could only advise Rob to do the right thing which he didnt!!
Simply the BEST! 100% satisfied! They correctly diagnosed the electrical problem and addressed the issue. Price was reasonable and the service was exceptional. My family was very happy with every single aspect of the experience. We will not hesitate to bring our cars back to Christian Brothers in the future.
I’m not from IL and was unsure where to get my window fixed. They were able to get my car in right away that morning. They also brought me back to where I’m staying so I wouldn’t have to wait while they fixed the car and they paid for a Lyft to bring me back. Everyone I spoke to and dealt with there were very friendly. I will definitely recommend them.
Rob and Johnny are awesome. My car was having problems and of course is out of warranty. Christian Brothers mechanics identified my car’s problem right away. They knew this was a common issue so instead of charging me to fix it, they called the dealer and negotiated with them and got it fixed for FREE. They even took my car there and picked it up so I wouldn’t have to. What other place would do that? These guys are so honest and nice. I will be telling all my friends to go there.
I was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. This is not your average car auto shop. From the moment I walked in it felt like I mattered as a customer. They Took the time to make sure that I was able to ask any questions and share my concerns before they took care of the car. It was so nice to sit there and actually watch the car being done through the glass windows while I drink coffee and had a treat in leather couches. How can you beat that? It was a clean enough space to bring my little one who can play on the floor with the toys they had. They were very thorough and even made an almost medical write up of my car which I was able to access online anytime I want!! Everything I dreaded about going to get my car fixed was gone. I trust them. They did a great job. They offered to take me anywhere while I waited, and they provided a enjoyable atmosphere. This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had and I will be back.
I cant say enough great things about my first experience at Christian Brothers. While my husband was out of town, I had a flat tire. I called Christian Brothers and Johnny made it a priority to fit me in before the weekend. When arriving, the environment was clean and welcoming. The owner offered me a shuttle ride back home, so I could continue working while they evaluated my car. They called and informed me I just needed to replace two tire values, a quick and inexpensive fix. Im so grateful for their honesty and clear communication, they could have easily replaced my tires since they were already ordered to the shop. Thank you Christian Brothers, my family will be back (but hopefully not too soon 🙂).
They are absolutely awesome!!! They are WAY better than any other place I’ve been to. There was no sales pressure and they were honest about what needed to be repaired and what could wait. They even dropped off my car after it was fixed and didn’t even charge for it. I will definitely come back.
I was recommended by family, I called to make and so glad I did. I spoke to Ryan on phone and he was able to get my car in right away. I needed a fair amount of work done on my car, Christian Brothers was honest and reasonable with cost. Ryan was excellent at communicating prices and explaining work needed on vehicle. Ryan and his crew stayed past business hours to complete work so I can have my car back that day! Their customer service was beyond my expectations. Being so unhappy at the dealership I was bring my car to, I am glad I have found a trusted place!
Christian Brothers Auto was recommended to me by a teacher colleague, and far exceeded my expectations! From the time I walked through the door, I was greeted with a smile and the most personable hospitality! Rob the owner, offered me beverages and a snack, and brought me the most delicious baked chocolate chip cookies served on a plate while I waited. Ryan, the manager gave my car a very thorough safety inspection and proceeded to sit down with me and talk me through everything so I fully understood. He even showed me a video, since I am not that versed in cars. Their honesty, sincerity, and care and so genuine, like nothing I’ve ever experienced with a mechanic before. The facility is clean and inviting with kids toys and coloring books laid out. For anyone who is a teacher, they do offer a 15% discount as well. I left their shop with a warm and fuzzy feeling. It was just a superb experience all around! In addition, they have a drop off service that is offered, where they will take you to work or a local coffee shop while your car is being repaired. Very unique! Highly recommend you pay them a visit! Ryan and Rob and all of your service technicians, thank you for your kindness and service! I appreciate it, and will definitely be back very soon!
I cant say enough good things about Christian Brothers. We have been there twice and Johnny and Kathryn have been awesome - great communication! (which is something we have never before gotten at an auto repair place). The second time we were there they were even able to fix something the dealer couldnt. I recommend them to all my friends.
Very clean/friendly environment. They even have coffee for you to drink when you wait for your car. They even offer a ride back home if needed, youll feel very welcomed there. Also, They will print out your diagnostic paper from your car inspection free of charge. Definitely check them out as they have affordable prices.
They attracted me with an oil change special and they were very pleasant to work with. They did an inspection of my vehicle and found a couple of things that needed attention. However, there was no pressure put on me to do any work and they were honest about what should be done sooner and what was recommended or could wait. They definitely earned my business going forward.
There is a reason this location has five stars. Everyone was so kind from the appointment confirmation to the shuttle ride and pickup. During my inspection review there was genuine concern about an issue with my vehicle. If the kindness wasnt enough to return in the future, the price was. Thank you for making me finally feel like you are not only taking care of my car but, also the client.
Great customer service and mechanics. I have used them for over a year now and written positive reviews and sent customers to them. I found out I was getting over charged just recently by them. I wish I could attach photos of the estimate so you could see the prices and the expensive labor cost. I googled what the average front control arm cost to replace and it was $117-$306 per control arm with the part costing just $42-$103 for one control arm. They charged me $855 to replace the two front control arms. I probably should have declined service but I did not realize that I was being over charged till after accepting the estimate. I also called other mechanics for a second opinion on pricing and they agreed what I paid was higher then usual. Also in the inspection they recommended I do all sorts of stuff that was very expensive and unnecessary, almost made me think they just wanted my money and the owner knows me and knows I am a college kid paying for it all on my own. Just a warning! Don’t want others to make the same mistake, they are very nice and helpful. So it can be misleading. The quality of this business is exceptional though. It is nice how they help with rides to and from the shop. It has its pro’s and con’s.
These folks were terrific. Friendly frequent communication, accurate assessment, quality work in a timely manner. DO NOT waste your money by going to that big import dealership in Barrington where they make you feel you are lucky they accepted to fix your car at an exorbitant price. Go to CB and have a great experience.
These guys are awesome. Very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and courteous. Went here for an oil change and got my rear shocks replaced as well. From the moment I walked in the door till the very end these guys were nothing but professional and courteous. This is not your average automotive repair shop. These guys take a lot of pride in their customers and business and it shows. I will be a lifetime customer after my first experience with them. I would highly recommend.
Very impressed. Selected them to do an oil change for my foreign SUV because I was tired of making the 45 minute drive out to the dealer. They were incredibly easy to work with and saved me so much time. I really appreciated that they send updates, estimates, and invoices electronically and that they have great customer service. I would definitely use them again.
I was very pleased by the experience here! My car was taken in quickly and the oil change and air filter swap did not take too long. The waiting room was clean and bright and the owner introduced himself to me before offering me bottled water and a cookie.What really impressed me was hearing the mechanic trying to downsell an older man on refurbishing a part instead of buying a new one to save him some money. Thats some integrity right there!Will absolutely consider coming back here for all my routine maintenance and other repairs and have already told my friends the same!
It all started with a simple Facebook offer for $17.95 oil change. Very polite, professional, clean, SUPER CLEAN LOCATION!! Shuttle to work!! It was ready when they said it would be.No pressure evaluation on my older Hyundai. They were spot on with clunking noise in rear suspension too. 2 other places couldnt find culprit of noise!I suggest everyone check Robs place out. Johnnys the mgr. Catherine the gal at the desk!Ps. I appreciate having an appointed time and not going through a first come first service method. My wheel alignment was done within their estimated time frame and followed up by a road test. Having the mechanic who worked on my car actually explain to me what he did is something rarely done in the auto service industry. The prices are reasonable and the front office personnel are professional with a warm and friendly attitude.
*OUTSTANDING* Have had several thousand dollars worth of major repairs done here in the last few months, a big portion of which was covered by warranty. The combination of the quality of the work along with their willingness to advocate for me during the process of getting the repairs covered by the warranty company will bring me back here again. Dealing with repair shops can be treacherous, especially when there isn’t much of an option to shop around when you’re stuck. I will say that at no point did I ever feel like I was mislead (or was I ever actually mislead). To the contrary Johnny’s bedside manner with me was the best I’ve ever gotten anywhere. He was honest, and willing to do what had to be done to help. Can’t say enough good things about him. The owner Rob is first rate as well.
This is a newer shop and was new to me before this service. Service with a smile and respect for your hard earned money. They quickly identified my cars problem and repaired it in short order. There was an underlying problem that became apparent to me after and they within 24hrs had that corrected. My German car now drives like it should again. I say German car so that readers of this understand that this shop has the technical ability to repair all makes and models.
My exhaust separated on my way home from work and my car was extremely loud. I remembered a new shop had opened a few blocks from my home and I decided to try them. They were so professional, honest, informative, and completely thorough. They got my car in right away and honestly fixed the issue without adding extra thing’s on. The waiting area was comfortable, clean, calming, and I really felt that I was in the right place and in excellent hands. I am very happy and relieved to have an automotive shop that I can trust! Surprised at how expensive some of the quotes were. Wickstrom usually overcharges and Christian estimated double the cost on some items.
We love the service we consistently receive from Christian Brothers Automotive. The staff is patient, friendly and very informative. They do not perform services that are not necessary and they give you a heads up on services that may be coming up for planning purposes. I would highly recommend them for others to use.
I’m so glad I found this place. My friends dad recommended them and they are great. They gave me on online report on my car with pictures! They didn’t pressure me at all - in fact it was the opposite. They were so patient and nice.
Received a mailing for a free oil change from a new car repair business badly needed in the Barrington area. I made an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff eager to take care of me. Place is brand new clean and everyone is is very professional. In and out quickly and so glad to have an honest estimate done where your not cringing about being taken to the cleaners, like some of the local car dealerships tend to do. Had a real nice talk with Ron, the owner, he will be from now on taking care of all my vehicles. They also provide rides for people who need them to and from there facility. I’ve referred several of my friends who are also happy with the experience they had. I would give them five stars 🙂
From the first call I made to schedule an appointment for my car to picking it up after the work was finished, a feeling of satisfaction was apparent. Rob Gilland, the owner was cordial and accommodating for giving me shuttle service to and from. The other folks I talked with at Christian Brothers Automotive, answered my questions with ease. I also liked the emailed estimate with photos of the troubled car parts. CBA seems to be a state-of-the-art company. Ill be scheduling my next appointment with CBA!

This is the second time I have used Christian Brothers and their service is fantastic. They replaced my battery and ran a free diagnostic for me. They let me know what other repairs were necessary and which ones needed attention. Courteous and cost effective too! Fantastic experience and will use them again!

For starters... They are dog friendly!! Today was my first visit (not to mention I drove 45 minutes) and it was amazing. Everything is so clean. Its not like other automotive places at all. The waiting area is very cozy. Ryan (the GM) took care of me immediately and had everything ready. I also met the Owner, who was so welcoming and made me feel right at home while I waited for my car. They were both very sweet to my crazy 2 year old boxer pup and even got a bowl of water and a toy for her to play with while we waited. I will definitely be coming back here every time, I dont care if I drive 45+ mins each time there and back. It is worth it!
Very pleased with Christian Brothers. Took my car in for an oil change. This place is beautiful and very clean. I had my youngest child with me, who loved picking a toy car out to take home. I wanted to find a great auto shop in the area because of bad experiences at other shops so I made an appointment with Christian Brothers. They had nothing but great reviews online and I found out first hand why. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and taken care of. The shop was very clean and offered coffee and snacks. After going over everything with Ryan, he offered a free shuttle ride back home and let me know they would contact me as soon as they found out what the issue was with my vehicle. I was contacted within an hour and my car was fixed shortly after that. I would definitely be returning for any scheduled maintenance for both of my vehicles and would highly recommend this shop to everyone.
We just bought a used car for our daughter and wanted a mechanic to check it over. Christian Brothers did an evaluation for free, recommended changing the oil and air filters, and let us know the brake pads will need to be replaced in a year or so. We felt they were honest and charged a fair rate. We will definitely use them again.
I was referred to Christian Brothers by a friend which in itself tells you something. The facility is modern, clean and tidy. The people are awesomely friendly and trustworthy. They fixed up our 2008 Silverado with the need to dos and advised what can wait until next time. Everything fully explained with pluses and potentially minus decision choices. Even fixed a broken antenna with an Amazon work around.
Ever since I had a bad experience with not one but two other shops I found Christian brothers and will continue to use them. Rob the owner has been extremely exseptional, professional and very caring about my car and my current situation. They have been extremely accommodating with helping me on prices, rental car and even a great warranty on parts and labor they also have very good verbal communication I havent gotten that from anywhere else but here. Everyone on there team from the technicians to the office staff have been great I am proud to say I take my car to Christian Brothers and will always highly recommend them to anyone who has automotive needs. Highly recommended!! Dealt with Johnny and the team here for the first time this past week on a charger. It was an excellent experience. It cost substantially less than the prior estimates I had received, and they identified a large portion of the labor/parts that was covered by a manufacturer warranty. I was at a dodge dealership for a full inspection a week prior that “somehow” managed to misdiagnose the issue to being both front end wheel bearings. I was quoted $1300 more dollars by the manufacturer/dealership, and the key fix was not even listed on the inspection report they provided, an inspection that entailed a fee I should add.The CBA team tried to take care of it all by dropping my car off to the dealership for them to handle the warranty work, but the dealer let us all down with a two week delay receiving in the part. As you can probably tell by now, I am no longer trusting dealerships. I will have a hard time going anywhere else in the future other than this fine establishment where customer satisfaction is a clear primary goal.

SAVED FROM MAKING AN $8000 MISTAKE!Because of Christian Brothers five-star rating, I chose to bring a used Subaru I was considering purchasing to this fine auto repair establishment for a used-car inspection. The inspection was exceptionally thorough and a detailed report — along with photos and repair cost estimates — was discussed with the service manager immediately thereafter. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change shortly after this location opened. They were ready to check me in right at 7:00 when I arrived and as I was walking away from the counter the owner already had a car pulled up to take me to the train station. They sent me an electronic copy of my service report with photos which was very helpful. It was only an oil change so I cannot comment on the quality of more serious work, but their promptness, clarity, and helpfulness means I’ll be back next time too. Thanks!

My car stalled and we brought it in to this location. The staff discovered the problem quickly and unfortunately required a new engine. The manager, Ryan, searched around for the best price and got us a great deal. Him and his team replaced our old engine within a few days and the car has been running great. I highly recommend this location and will be going back for all of our car needs in the future.
I decided to try taking my Car to a repair shop other than my dealer as they wanted to charge an excessive amount for a simple repair. Found Christian Brothers in Barrington from a friend recommendation and was extremely impressed at the shop. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. The prices were very reasonable and the work was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place and will take all my cars here from now on. They even identified a repair that was covered by the manufacturer warranty. They called the manufacturer and confirmed. I have been looking for a new mechanic to service my business and personal vehicles. After hearing good things on christian brothers automotive I decided to stop in while in the area and schedule a oil change and tire rotation along with a break inspection. I was promptly greeted by Ryan the general Manager. After explaining my needs and asking about same day service on my business vehicle when in need he assured me repairs would be done promptly to get my service vehicle back on the road and in production. Ryan was courteous, professional and listened to my needs. Their waiting room was clean, warm and inviting, they even had coffee and donuts which they offered me while waiting. Ryan offered to service my vehicle while I waited . Based on my first experience I have nothing but good things to say about Christian Brothers and their entire staff. About two months ago I had a rear shock mount break on my BMW 325I. I brought the car to a mechanic in McHenry that has done work for me in the past. They replaced both rear shocks, and two days after picking it up, I had to return because of an annoying loud squeak coming from a rear shock. Once again they fixed it. Just the other day, I was driving and the rear shock started making noise and continued to get worse the more I drove the car. I brought the car back for the third time, only to be told the shock mount and bushing are torn up. They said they would fix it at no charge, but at this point I no longer trusted the quality of the work. I went on line and searched for a place closer to my house that might be able to fix the problem. I saw that Christian Brothers had just recently opened, and that they had many good reviews. I decided to give them a call figuring it cant be any worse than what I was doing. I spoke with Rob, explained my situation, and he told me to stop in and they would take a look at it. When I pulled up, I was happy to see a nice shiny new building which housed a very clean and organized work facility. Rob took me to the waiting area (also very nice), and offered me a cup of coffee while I waited. Once the car was looked at, I was told that it was indeed the rear shock mount, and I was given a quote to fix it. Rob stated that he would have to get the parts the following day, so I dropped my car off later that night, and I was able to leave the key in a drop slot. The following morning (9:30) Rob called to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. When I picked up my car, Rob showed me the bad shock mount and told me his mechanic decided to check the other side on his own. The other side was loose, and he tightened it up to specifications. Apparently this had never been done correctly from the time I had the shocks replaced.....causing all of my issues. I could not be happier with the quality of service and the job that Rob and his mechanics did. The entire process from phone call to finish was first class and professional. In the event that I need service on my car again, whether it be an oil change or something more complicated, I will be returning to Christian Brothers to have the work done. Again, I could not be happier with my experience, and I feel lucky to have found them. Many thanks to Rob and his staff.

Let me just say that Christian Brothers Automotive would get rated 10 stars if there was such thing. There was a snow storm the night our van’s battery died and when we jumped it, it barely had enough juice to get us through the severe cold evening. We were desperate because it was already late in the afternoon & finding someone who would be able to install a new battery at that hour was almost impossible. After a few calls and no’s, my husband found Christian Brothers Automotive through Google. He called and as soon as he spoke with Rob, we hurried down to their shop. Guys!! The customer service was phenomenal!! We were greeted with warm smiles as soon as we walked in and Rob introduced us to Ryan who would be the one to install our battery. Long story short, we found the business who will be working on our vehicles from now on. These guys were great. people I like doing business with. Only needed an oil change but they were super accommodating and professional. I recently moved to the area a couple years ago and I have been trying out different places and feel like I finally found a trusty mechanic. I had one where I used to live in Chicago and feel like I have one now.

Superb service for high-end cars! Great mechanics, facility.Prior to purchasing a pre-owned Audi A7 I brought the car to Christian Brothers in Barrington for a full inspection. Their knowledge of higher-end/high-performing cars and ability to also run diagnostics unique to this make of car (Audi) was the reason they were recommended. I was super impressed by the mechanic who did the inspection--he personally walked me thru each major area of the car he reviewed and told me what looked great, what may need to be fixed or replaced in near future (and the rough cost to do the work), etc. He made sure I understood every facet of what was done. And more important, he made feel comfortable and confident about the state of the car and my pending purchase. I was in/out in less than two hours. Was the best money spent on a car in long time. And it was also the best facility and waiting area Ive ever seen at an auto repair shop--rivaled that of the high-end dealerships I am used to. Two big thumbs up!!

This was my first time at CBA. I was impressed from the time that I first reached out. I have an older MINI that needed a bunch of TLC and they were spot on. They fixed what I knew needed to be done, then performed an inspection and found a couple of other items that needed to be addressed. They kept me informed of their activities via text and email. Such a great experience. The inside of Christian Brothers automotive is absolutely beautiful that waiting with my 2 year old daughter was quite pleasant. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating here too. Barrington desperately needed a full service automotive repair facility like this, so it’s nice to finally have one!
Took my car here after getting an advertisement in the mail. They were great and super helpful! It’s always so unsettling going to a new mechanic for fear of being ripped off but I am glad I took the chance with them! Would highly recommend!
We discovered the electrical in one of cars had completely failed. We could not even get the car out of the garage. They sent two techs over in 10 minutes and figured out the problem. The car was good as new in less than two hours.The problem was solved at a reasonable price, and everyone with whom we dealt could not have been nicer.Great experience.
First review I’ve ever written because the service is that great! I took my volkswagen in to have the cruise control diagnosed & repaired and they had me out in no time! The owner was SO friendly and accommodating, not to mention the place itself is very clean and cozy. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone!
Very impressed with my first visit. Had oil changed and wiper blades installed in under 30 minutes. Was given a bottle of water and snack while I waited. Plan to send my son here to get his car serviced over his SB.
They do some of the best work I have come upon. There shop is super clean and they have all the top of line equipment to make sure your car is fixed right and doesn’t have to go to multiple shops. Jonny the service manager is amazing, he will make sure you have the best experience possible!!

Great service from this new location. I called early on a Monday as a visiting friend was having an issue with her. Within minutes of arriving Ryan discovered the issue was a dragging part of the engine. The team quickly fixed it my friend could go on with her day. We will be back!
Visiting the area and stopped in for a last minute tire rotation on the Tesla. This is not your typical automotive shop. They have coffee (served in mugs!) and bakery fresh snacks. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and were a pleasure to work with. The staff seem like the kind of people that would give you the shirts off their backs. If and when my Tesla needs something again, I will seriously consider this location if Im still in the area. You can tell no detail is spared in the amenities and facilities here, so that says a lot about the attention they must be giving the cars, too.
They got me right in for a check engine light. Other shops were to busy. My car needed an update for the computer. Ryan, the service manager assured me they had the Nissan scan tool and were able to do it right there. So glad I didn’t have to take it to the dealer. These guys know what there doing. My car passed emissions after this.
They really care about you car. They are very sincere and quite frankly I cant say enough good things about them. We had a unique issue with the left front brakes on our Saturn and they devoted extra effort to fixing it the right way not the quick way. Thank you!!
Looking for a place close to my new work in Deer Park. Found CBA and couldnt believe all the positive reviews, so I thought I would send them an e-mail with the service I needed on my MDX. I not only received an answer fairly quickly, I was told they could pick-up the car from me as I was within five miles. This would help a lot as I start work the same time they open. They picked up the car, ten minutes early, and had a full diagnostics with pictures of what was wrong. I mean, I was in shock with everything they checked. I needed some more work than just the service, but they said it can wait till next oil change. I never ever received this kind of service from an automotive place, especially from the dealership. CBA found an issue that the dealership never told me was happening, because I asked how long could this have been an issue and the mechanic at CBA said for quite a while. The dealership also charged a lot more for the standard service then CBA does. They sent texts as to what was going on and a PDF with pictures. They even dropped off the car while I never left work at no extra cost! I dont know anyone who does this, just amazing. Give these guys a try as I found my new automotive place to go!!!!!!
Its a new location. Very clean and attentive. I only got oil change done but they provided thorough inspection with other service recommendations. Manager Ryan was amazing. Overall happy with the service. Little pricier than competition in the area.
They have a great staff they explain every step that is being take to insure the quality of work they are preforming on your vehicle. They keep you posted by text as the work is being down. They offer a great atmosphere as you wait for the work to be done. I would recommend them to everyone.
I can’t say enough good things about this shop! The staff are very welcoming, the waiting area is very clean and comfortable and the technicians are extremely thorough and clearly excellent at their job. I received text updates as the work was being done and pictures and video of a leak that was found. I will be recommending them to family and friends and will definitely be back as a regular customer!

Christian Brothers Automotive WILL be my go-to shop. If you have an automobile that you love & want the best care for, you need to give CBA a shot. I have been struggling to keep up with some maintenance and elusive problems that I couldnt sort out myself. The guys at CBA helped me figure out what my options were yet didnt push me towards any of them. I felt like they respected my situation and let me decide what I wanted done primarily.I was going to be replacing all four rotors because of some pulsation I felt. I knew that my rotors were warped, as I had to make an emergency stop before the disks were bedded and from then on I had steering wheel movement when stopping. I was prepared to sink the money into new brake rotors. These guys told me my first explorative step should be to re-cut the rotors as they still had good thickness. Worked like a charm. Better stopping distance, no vibrations, no issues at all.I also needed an oil change. Driving an e90 bmw with slightly over 100k miles, I was experiencing some lifter tick. BMW states this is normal for these engines but I didnt like pulling up with a clicking engine. I did my research and found an oil that I wanted to try, yet Christian Brothers didnt stock it. These guys went out of their way to get me that oil, and it was there within 2 days. My lifter tick has since ceased.I have some stumbling issues and a slightly rough idle. The average driver wouldnt think anything was wrong with the car. Being that I drive this car every day, I KNOW something is different, however slight. The owner AND extremely knowledgable mechanics helped me brainstorm what the issue might be, suggested methods to test, told me about services that they offer as well as things I can do myself. You dont get that everywhere.If you are looking for a mechanic that will take care of your car, be genuine in face-to-face interaction, give you the real skinny, and are on the edge about choosing CBA, my recommendation to you is to give them a shot.Thanks CB

2021-09-02Our car is currently in the shop, so maybe this is premature, but I feel very confident we will be back on the road and in great shape when our car is ready. Everything about the shop itself, the lobby, the attention to detail and amazing customer service has made us feel as if we are being taken care of. Our mechanic Julius was awesome and took a short ride with us in order to assess the issues we were having. Both Rob and Johnny took great care of everything and helped us to relax as we are currently traveling and will have a long trip back home that we were nervous about seeing as we had a few issues with the front tires. They even offered to give us a ride back to where we were staying while our car is being worked on. All in all the customer service was impeccable and the pricing seemed fair for the parts and labor involved. We are not from this area and would do anything to have a shop like this near by, so for those who do live in the area, there is no question where you should have your car worked on the next time you are in a pinch.

2021-08-28Courteous, prompt, great communication, they supply a courtesy shuttle for nearby customers, and they have the best warranty for work performed (36k Miles or 36 Months, whichever comes LAST). Upon request, CB performed a full examination of the vehicle at no charge. Just over 111,000 miles on my Honda Element, and as I already knew, there was LOTS of suspension repair work required, as well as multiple Preventative Maintenance items to be performed. I priced out all of the work at two other local mechanics, and CB had the best price for all suspension work and an oil change. The best part was that my Out The Door cost was LESS than originally estimated! To top it off, the work was completed as schedule, and they provided shuttle service to and from my home. HIGHLY recommended!

2021-05-28This was one of the best car repair experiences I’ve ever had. The shop was immaculate, I could book my appointment online, they sent me photos of the work that needed to be done, I could pay my bill on the phone, and they even dropped my car off when it was done! I’ll never go to the dealership ever again. Johnnie was exceptional and made sure I was updated throughout the entire process. Highly recommended.

2021-04-22They are extremely nice and friendly. They were very detailed and honest about the repairs needed and the repairs that could wait. The repairs were well done. They dropped me off and and picked me up. And, the waiting room is very nice with power outlets. It was an excellent experience. I will always bring my cars here !
