I find this Chiropractic Office aligns with my healthy body viewpoint about the IMPORTANCE of my spinal alignment, my beliefs that our nervous system & body immunity health are ALL linked together to work with me in having the best HEALTH possible. When you then eat healthy & get exercise, YOU WILL feel your body improving to its BEST levels. Everyone who works there is also so nice & I also use the MAX LIVING Max Greens & the Women over 50 Daily Vitamin. Now with this Covid situation, I added the Immunity Booster & the Vitamin D+. I feel I’m at my healthiest in my Retirement Yrs. Thank You Thank You.
I was fortunate enough to have my employer offer a Lunch and Learn at my office last October. I was seeing a chiropractor, but not feeling like I was as good as I could be. They helped me initially, but when I listened to Dr. Kyles presentation, I knew that I needed to seek out more information. I met with him in his office, he did my xrays, explained my situation, what he could do to help me, offered a treatment plan, went over the costs, etc. When I asked him if he felt he could help me, he said I know I can!. I told him thats all I needed to know, and signed up immediately. Ive been going there for about 4 weeks, went to a seminar on total body health, etc. This operation is state of the art, and concerned with the wellness of the whole body. After 2 adjustments, I was able to get out of bed in the morning with no stiffness or soreness, like I usually had. Im feeling much better now, and didnt realize that I was limiting my life somewhat, due to how my back was feeling. This is the best decision Ive made in a long time. All the docs are wonderful, and you can see any of them, as they all are aware of your treatment plan! Outstanding organization!!!
Dr. Alex changed my life. Before I went to him, I never knew that I was hunched and crunched my entire life. My clothes. My vehicle. My everyday use of everyday things. They all caused me to curl up my spine without me even knowing it. Before Dr. Alex straightened me out, I sorta felt awkward using both of my legs equally when I stood, like I had to casually tilt to feel comfortable. Chiro First got me to finally embrace my tallness! Also, no more back pain. Also, they dont just follow the latest trends, stick to the roots. They have an excellent team. I can go on and on.
Upon first walking into the office, youll be greeted with a smile and welcoming introductions. Ive only just begun getting adjusted for the past 5-6 weeks and all the staff has gone above and beyond their call of duty to keep patients (and myself) informed and comfortable in the office. Also my results have been amazing and would definitely recommend anyone to at least get checked out at Chiropractic First of Rockford.
Been seeing Dr. Alex for about five months for sciatica issues. Has made a huge difference. Pain level is at 1/2 as compared to 9 when I started. I can walk much better now. Even family and friends have noticed the improvement. The staff is amazing. Very friendly, very welcoming. Very relaxing surroundings. Definitely recommend to anyone in need of chiropractic care
I started with Chiropractic First almost four years ago because of chronic neck and back pain from a car accident several years earlier. After several bouts of physical therapy with another facility immediately after the accident, the pain never really went away. But Dr. Jared Erdmier got me out of pain in a few months, and I also didnt need the narcotic pain medication. Over these last few years, Ive learned so much about overall health and that maintaining a healthy spine with regular adjustments helps your body to keep you healthy. I have switched to all organic foods and have been able to eliminate all my other medications for allergies, asthma and acid reflux. Because my spine was healthy, my body healed itself and I have no more symptoms from these ailments. The staff at Chiropractic First is the best. Every one of them truly make you feel that they are there to make you feel better and your health is their primary goal. I love the various events they hold to reinforce keeping you healthy, and educate you. And I especially like the recipe nights. I cant praise Chiropractic First, Dr. Jared Erdmier and the staff enough. Theyre all the best people.
My visits to Dr. Alex Mera at Chiropractic First in Rockford have completely eliminated the hip pain I had been enduring for weeks. I like the fact that they not only do adjustments, they provide information on healthy living and encourage each of us to be involved in our health. I am so happy to be one of their patients.
I have been going here for a year and half. I am currently going once a week. What has impressed me the most through this whole time Is that they have never emphasized that I purchase their products or products that that they support. Multiple options have always been offered. They emphasize improvement of mind, nerve supply, quality nutrition, maximized oxygen and lean muscle, and to minimize toxins. They also offer free workshops on these topics. I have gone multiple times with the same one because of learning something new each time. I have really loved the workshops on Essential Oils. They even took me and my wife (other clients too) shopping at a grocery store to show us healthy food that will promote my health and false advertising that a lot of companies are now doing. The adjustments are a piece of my overall treatment plan. I have been to all three Doctors for adjustments and no complaints at all. My eating, drinking, and type of food that I do eat has changed drastically. This was done with no pressure from their staff. I was on 3 different allergy medications, pain medications and other medications that I no longer take because there is no need to. There was no pressure to stop the medications from their staff. Highly recommended. It is great not having neck, back, and knee pain. My Military years did a number on my back and knees.
Our family loves going to ChiropracticFirst!! We have been going here since 2014. Dr Jared genuinely cares about your health!! We have totally changed our way of thinking about our health!! I feel better now than I did 10 years ago.
You don’t just feel better after coming here, but they show you actual results! They take xrays before and after and show you so you can see your own improvement. They always ask you what you would like worked on each time you come in. I highly recommend Chiropractic First of Rockford.
Amazing place. I have scoliosis and a spinal fusion at 18 and was told by other doctors I would be in pain the rest of my life. The staff and Drs here at Chiropractic First have changed my lifefor the better. I can walk without pain and am back to my life before surgery
I first learned about Chiropractic First of Rockford at the annual health fair sponsored by my place of work in September 2014. At the time, I was having occasional sore muscle pain in my lower back every so often and I was getting a sinus infection or a sore throat about every six weeks from autumn through spring each year. Since Ive been going to Chiropractic First of Rockford, I no longer get lower back pains and I havent had a cold or sore throat for about two years now. The treatment program at Chiropractic First of Rockford includes not only periodic chiropractic adjustments, but also education about exercise and changes in diet to stay healthier. I recommend Chiropractic First of Rockford to anyone who is sick and tired of feeling sick and tired most of the time.
Receptionist is rude and was not friendly at all.. telling customers what will happen to them. An unqualified Receptionist talking about someones treatment very disappointing. Dr was rude as well.

The best place in town I know of to feel connected with so many great people who care about natural health. There is always new educational material (videos, handouts, seminars, etc) that is all free and very informative. A great atmosphere that encourages natural healthy living - a breath of fresh air in Rockford.
Best chiropractic experience Ive ever had. Dr. Kyle and the team really make you feel comfortable each visit and the facilities and extra services are fantastic.
This place is such a scam when they start treating you they dont charge you and take exrays before doing anything. then they adjust you, next step is you have to attend a saturday meeting and then they tell you that you have to agree to there treatment plan and charges or dont waist there time, I havbe been to chiropractors my whole life and it has never taken as long as it did for me to respond to treatment as it did there but continued with there treatment until it was making me worse. then told them i wouildnt be continueing with them and to stop charging me because of financial issues and it wasd making me worse but theyu continue to charge my credit card and during this whole time charged me for a home care kit that have of the stuff i was never given excersises to use these items and they take exrays later again but taske them after they have adjusted you and then tell you how much you have improved nothing but a scam
I am treated by Dr. Kyle at Chiropractic first. I find that he is very willing to listen to my concerns and takes an individual approach to my treatment.
Kind of a sloppy way of sending xrays by email-just the pictures, no info. When I called and asked for specific degrees, got a call back saying their system wont let them send pictures with markings on them---have you heard of typing out a message in the email??Constantly calling back and fourth...🙄👎

2022-04-07All the staff here is amazing. The receptionist always welcome you in and out, and no matter what doctor you get adjusted by, they all are amazing! Understanding and truly want you to feel better. The staff is knowledgeable when it comes to the supplements they offer and are always willing to help with whatever questions you have. You can also tell they really care about their patients and you’re not just a number. Love this place :)

2022-06-08I wouldn’t ever come back nor recommend anyone to come here. I came here for adjustments as I was having horrible back pain. Every time I came I was never adjusted in the area I told them was my concern. I informed them that I was paying out of pocket and I wanted to be adjusted in my lower back therefore I could go to work and stay longer but it never happened yet the chiropractor was trying to get me into a committed contract.I decided to try another chiropractor and behold he did the same scheme. Adjusted an area that wasn’t my concern. How I knew their main priority was money was not only them avoiding my concern but the second chiropractor excuse for not addressing my concern was he wanted to make “light adjustments” which translates to we’re not going to address you problem area until you commit to paying us. Mind you this was my third or fourth visit.After my experience with the second chiropractor I decided not to work with any of them anymore.I would have committed to their contact but once I noticed that my healing wasn’t their main priority, I wanted nothing more to do with them.Fast forward I met an amazing chiropractor who is honest and puts integrity first. He told me NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO REPEATEDLY COME TO A CHIROPRACTOR FOR EXTENDED AMOUNTS OF TIME. He said “ I don’t want you to keep coming three times a week, I want you to get better.” He provided me healing within a month and a half. Know when to alternate between chiropractors and physical therapy. My current chiropractor has been in this business for over 30 years. Most of these people here aren’t close to that type of experience.Fast forward my primary care doctor reached out to them for my x-rays and they refused to give me my X-rays that I paid for. It’s been less than a year so I know they have them. If character matters to you to determine who cares for you then don’t go to First chiropractic of Rockford.

2022-05-07The grace of God lead us to Chiropractic First of Rockford and Dr. Erdmier who performed a miracle. At the age of two years, my grandson did not have the strength to move from the location he was placed. This was due to an injury he received during a c- section birth. After JUST ONE adjustment, he was able to scoot across the floor. With every adjustment we have witnessed his nerve impulses come to life as his body now has the correct wiring to move normally. I cant say enough about Chiropractic First of Rockford, Dr. Erdmier, and his friendly, professional staff. On a scale of 1 to 5, Id give them a 10!. I would encourage all parents who have had a child by c-section to have their child adjusted. His subtle and gentle adjustments work. He gave my grandson a chance to live a normal life outside of a wheelchair! Bravo!

2022-05-07I just want to say this place is a blessing. Dr. Jared Erdmier has helped my son and myself greatly. My son, who has some special needs, for a while could not move from one spot to another. Dr. Jared gave him such an amazing gift through just the first adjustment. Now he scoots all over and can bare weight to walk assisted. At this point my son is eating better and has even learned a few more words. He is thriving!! Im excited for what the future brings for my little man, Coleson. Thank You Chiropractor First of Rockford!!

2022-09-08I had hurt my back getting in/out of the car. The pain was unbearable, it got sooo bad I had to use a walker to get around. Turns out I had a bulging disc in my lower back. Three adjustments later I was able to ditch the walker. Thank You:))

2022-02-25If you are wanting a calm one-on-one experience with the doctor to speak with about your concerns and ask questions, this place is not it. They seem to want to rush you out the door to move on to the next one.

2021-08-20The reason this establishment is receiving such a low review is because they have chose to hire staff (the receptionist) that speak on behalf of doctors with PHDs when they have zero qualifications or schooling to back up their claims. The man working at the front desk was extremely rude and spoke out of bounds after my cousin disclosed to him she was going through chemo and had cancer. His response was “The treatment you are going through will kill you and you are facing certain death.” When asked for an apology he simply said “Good luck.” The only reason this place received one star is because there was no way to leave 0.

2021-08-20If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would! This is an establishment with no ethics or morals!! To have a receptionist tell a patient their treatment (that has nothing to do with chiropractic care mind you), is going to kill them is beyond inappropriate!! I cannot believe the doctor would support this kind of behavior & allow their receptionist to speak to their patients this way. To then only say “best of luck” is extremely distasteful & inappropriate.

2020-05-11I have been going for about 2 years. I can not say enough positive about Dr. Jared and the staff. What I can say is I have referred family and friends to “just go and take a look”. Everyone that took the information, had continued on with Chiropractic at the same time seen major improvements. Watching the people I love feel better means more to me than anything.
