Chez is a beautiful, modern, blank canvas that served as the perfect backdrop to our modern wedding this past summer. Christine put me in touch with every vendor I worked with and helped me in more ways than I can count. If you are looking for a great party with EXCELLENT staff to make sure all your wishes and whims can be carried out - I highly recommend scheduling some time to check it out.I would not have changed a thing!
Minimalist, clean, modern space to host your events. Second floor with elevator and stairs access. You have to hire a catering company to take care of your food and beverage needs.
Beautiful and very pleasant atmosphere be prepared for the stairs. Location is a plus@
Chez-Chicago is a versatile space that lends distinctive sophistication to any event. The staff are exceptional professionals who are both resourceful and supportive.
I went to a business school event at this venue. Pretty cool spot. Kind of small for really large parties. Their restrooms are small too for an event venue.
Great place for events. Bright and open with a glass staircase so you can grab pictures from above.

It was so beautiful! We shot a commercial there everything was in white and it was suppose to be a call center for heaven absolutely heavenly place.
Beautiful event space. Doors automatically lock behind you during last hour of event, which is not ideal for smokers.
Not bad but awful plastic chairs and post block of view of projector for our company summit. In house food was mediocre.
The location & venue are phenomenal, and their customer service is so amazing. Always willing to help and go the extra mile. Kristie is the best!

2018-01-15As a professional editorial, wedding and event photographer in the Los Angeles and Chicago area, I have had the opportunity to work in a ton of different venues over the years, but photographing anything at Chez is always something I look forward to. Their team of professionals always has every little detail covered and they work meticulously with all of your vendors to make sure that everything runs smoother than you could ever imagine. All of the couples Ive had the opportunity to photograph here have raved about their experience, and the beautiful clean modern lines of the space have made my experience as a photographer there beyond fun! I love that I never know what I am going to walk into because its such a blank canvas, but Ive never been disappointed. If youre looking for a one of a kind space that will help you through every step of the process of planning your event, Chez is one of the best in Chicago, if not the country... and itll be one of the best decisions you make for your day.

2022-02-22We celebrated a Sweet Sixteen for our daughter. Chez is a beautiful place with an elegant atmosphere, that wowed me, my family and most importantly our daughter. Mar (Venue Director) and Daniel (Planner) make a great team. They provided great food, service and a very attentive bar tending crew. Thank you Chez for a memorable night!

2018-11-05This is our third event at Chez Event Space and each and every year we are blown away by the staffs professionalism and attention to detail. The space is absolutely gorgeous, conveniently located and a blank canvass waiting to be transformed into whatever your hearts desire! We felt very taken care of by the event team and look forward to continuing our relationship with the staff at Chez!

2018-07-01We had our wedding reception at Chez and it was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful, with really cool stairs which were lots of fun for pictures! Chez is such a great space for creating your vision; it can really morph into whatever you want it to be with some decorations and the appropriate lighting. Plus, because Chez is a BYOB venue, we were able to work with Prestige Liquors to save a TON on alcohol, compared to all-in-one venues. There was some issue apparently with one of the sinks in the bathrooms during the evening, but we were warned about it and there were additional bathrooms available within the venue for those who could do stairs. We worked extensively with Lauren Smith at Chez, and she was an absolute delight to work with. She was responsive via email and text, and sensitive to our unique needs in terms of loading in and out decorations, given that we were having a wedding in Chicago while living out of state. She even Skyped with us so we could see the venue since we were unable to come in in person initially. In general, the staff at Chez was great and we would highly recommend Chez as your wedding reception venue!

2015-02-09After our original wedding venue cancelled on us 5 weeks from our wedding, we found Chez and it turned out to be our perfect venue. During our first walk through, they were finishing up construction, but even then I knew it was exactly what I was looking for – modern, light, and just a beautiful space. We had both our ceremony and reception at Chez and it was a perfect size for our wedding of 115 guest. Chez can be transformed in an infinite number of ways in terms of how the space is divided (ceremony, reception, dance floor, cocktail area, etc) and also in terms of the atmosphere (lighting, draping, etc). In addition to the aesthetic appeal, functionally it is an amazing venue. The restrooms are beautiful and there are plenty of them. There is a gorgeous, private bridal suite for the bridal party to get ready in, relax, or secure personal belongings. It is in a fantastically convenient location – easily accessibly to public transportation, hotels, and cabs. On top of that, the Chez team is wonderful. We worked with Christine Breakey and she could not have been nicer or more accommodating. It was such a dream to find Chez after the nightmare of our original venue. I have nothing but beautiful memories and positive things to say about Chez!
