Our Public Health Department is highly responsive and has several items for the public on siteIf you need something, they will make it available, or tell the correct forms or agencies to call.Most, services are free, are available for training and speaking engagements.There is public transportation to their location, free parking, handicap parking, ramps, etc.There is a Foodbank onsite along with several resources.The difficulty is leaving the site when driving as there are different ways in and out.

I had my Moderna booster shot today 11/3/21 at the I-Hotel site. I am in a wheelchair & was greeted at the front door by Jody who made sure I was promptly taken care of - taken to Station 11 for my booster. Such a positive experience and an asset to our community to have an active, well-run service.

We had an appointment 2 days ago for wic. The nutritionist told us to come in any time to get some voucher coupons. When I went there I was asked if I had an appointment. I told the lady at the window we have already had an appointment two days ago why do we need an another appointment just for coupons. She said that my wife havent been seen for a while (although she had an appointment two days ago) that proves that the lady at the wic window does not know what she is doing. In addition, she was so rude with when answering my questions and never smiles. Unprofessional

I understand that this is a trying time for all parties; however, IDPH put me on a 10 day quarantine (which I followed), had a COVID test performed 5 days after exposure that was negative, and filled out their daily health assessment emails every morning. I did not even receive one of these assessments until 6 days into my quarantine. The system they use has an “error” of automatically placing everyone on a 14 day quarantine period which means 1 out of my 4 employees that were quarantined received their letter of release to return to work. The rest of us (including myself) have not. They have failed to do their part in such an “important time of COVID”. If we follow instructions and do our part, the people in control of us should be able to uphold their end as well. We have lives and are people too- with children and schedules.

When I went to the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District office for my 2nd vaccination I received first rate treatment. The young man at the reception was very helpful and the young nurse who administered the injection was perfect. We are fortunate to have this staff, from the top on down!

Great experience. Check in was easy. Whitney was AWESOME! My son has Autism and his past experience with the dentist hadn’t been great but she made a huge difference. She was very patience and told him everything that was happening. He actually sat through the entire cleaning process!

Today experience was the most rudeness experience ever. As the dentist came out to get my 8 year old and my 1 year old that I had scheduLed for. I also brought my 2 year old with me. She stoped me and said that I had to many children with me basically and she take me this time but next time I need to make better arrangements because they want to be able to focus on the servicing children and not be distracted. I was not pleased. U will be finding somewhere else to go. Not only that but they violate HIPPA all day everyday by coming out to the waiting area and speaking with parents about the results of the child visit to where others can hear. I guess because its thru public assistance you dont deserve any privacy.

I went into the WIC office at 3:00 just as they were getting ready to close. I work full time so it was the only time I had to come in. Every single person who helped me was amazing. The lady at the WIC front desk was amazing and so kind.. the Nutritionist was so sweet and educational.. also very supportive. The breastfeeding advocate was so eager to be there to help me when the time comes. She even offered to come to my home. The lady who helps provide food for the Mahomet Area brought me in two huge bags of food.. I just wanted to cry. They were all so amazing. The very last woman who helped me finish my WIC paperwork actually helped me carry my bags out to my vehicle. I left with my heart feeling so full. I gained a large sense of hope for humanity as I was pulling out of the parking lot. I couldnt be more grateful for the care I was given.. even at the end of their day. Thank you to all of you ladies! I hope you see this and understand how much I appreciate you.

They didnt do anything about the fact the new WIC system with the card is. Went to two stores with stuff that should of gone through w wic card but didnt. Wish they did something about it b/c i ended up being short on bills for paying the stuff that didnt go through.
