The produce department is always excellent. CLEAN & FRESH! The entire store is clean, well stocked and bright. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
They have everything and I mean everything you need to cook a great meal for the family or if your having a party the variety of things is pretty cool 👍👍👍
When ordering from the deli, the price displayed was not the price scanned. The charged over a dollar more per pound. I suggest everyone to double check their orders. I spoke with the manager and she brushed it off as it being an issue with the deli department and not of the store.

This has been my store for vegetables, deli and meats for years, good prices and great variety of everything. The only problem I find it’s in the deli department. Today As every time I waited like 25 minutes to get service. They only put two employees for like more than 15 customers. When finally was my turn to be attended Humberto was taking care of me. The best and fast service. Great customer service from him.
I went to purchase a couple of rotisserie chickens, tortillas, and Arrachera. It was all fresh and tasty. The tortillas were very fresh, as the packs were still warm. First time here, but I will DEFINITELY be back!

FIRST TIME HERE! Decided on Seasoned boneless chicken breast, they were phenominal. Cooked up some amazing tacos, spinach, veggies, all fresh! Keep it up! The prices are pretty good as well.

Love the produce section. We come for the wide assortment of fresh greens, veggies, fruits. They have very competitive prices in all their departments. Fresh butcher shop is always fresh. Deli has so much to pick from. Low salt hams. Low fat cheeses. Check out lines are fast.
This location is always clean, the produce is always fresh and I love trying their pre-made salsas.
I was pressed for time being that I had to catch this pace bus at a certain time. I decided to run in here real quick to grab a cake for a pot luck we were having at my job. I needed 5-10 min tops in here. Go figure that it took the cashier 5-10min to ring up the customer that was ahead of me. I had to put the cake back because I had no time left. The point Im trying to make is that you guys need a SELF CHECKOUT lanes. That is why I gave you ONE STAR. Get with the times

The produce selection is pretty great here, the cashiers though they definitely need to work on their people skills. Last I checked completely ignoring your customer so you can flirt with the bagging employee isnt great customer service.
I love this store! Full of fresh and highly organized produce. Theyre carnitas are always on point and all of the staff is super helpful. You get more for your money, especially quality bags of beans and meat. I will always recommend Cermak Produce as one of my #1 favorites😊
My go to place for fresh produce. Great veggie selection, the meat section its good, they have a variety of seasoned prepared meats or just raw meats. Also the Hispanic food selection is great. Parking is available on most days, decent size, holidays can make it a bit hectic.
Always want to give this store a second chance but fails all the time, as you can see they must add sour cream to the guacamole because it is so creamy it’s disgusting not the first time the salsa taste like they use old vegetables to make it just so they don’t waste any food, it tastes pretty bad as well. not the first time this has happened to me, the meat is ok but that’s why it’s so cheap,I would stick to safe items in there good thing Tony’s just opened down the street
I went today 4/5/2020 about 1pm, i like the store everything is priced right and fresh, my issue i encountered today is that there was NO SOCIAL DISTANCING, the Meat Counter, the Deli the produce the check out lanes no one had any distance anywhere, as I was waiting in line i literally had to give the person behind me a look so she would stop inching towards me, all i can say is I could not get out of there fast enough. Please try to enforce social distancing, even limiting the amount of people in the store. It would be in the best interest of your employees and public as well.
Its a great store to shop for groceries but the cashiers always have a disgusting attitude very rude , angry at the customers they need better management and better training. Atleast learn to greed customers

Great grocery store that carries a large number of foods from various locations throughout the world. Extra large produce section, great meat varieties and many food and household items. Also checkout the bakery section, excellent.
Loved this place. Ill make the drive from home to go here for authentic and fresh Mexican ingredients for sure. Great cheese selection, many items you wont find in your standard local grocery. The fresh juice stand in the produce area (which is beautifully maintained, btw) is wonderful...you can buy a fresh juice and enjoy while you shop. I had the pineapple, and it was sublime!
Its one of the neighborhood stores. Theres a Jewel, Tonys, Walmart, Target and a few other grocery stores around them .. so with that being said, Im surprised they dont work on their customer skills. They arent very friendly, most dont even greet you and the cashiers are a little rude. I almost hate asking for help when Im in there. . The front of the store [register area] is really cluttered and it gets very crowded.. its impossible to practice the 6 foot social distancing rule during the pandemic. Aside those negatives, they do have a good produce department and the place is clean.
The store is well kept and has really good prices. However, the staff is really rude and will give you attitude. Upon cashing out I had requested to have one of my items removed and the cashier responded with an eye roll and said, Ill see if I can. Then, she proceeded on bagging my items and started to throw the bags on the counter. I usually can understand that people can have bad days, but that doesnt give her the right to throw my things. This is the first and last time I will be going there.
Get in and get what you need. They have most of the essentials and even grills! Just dont understand how they have Philadelphia Cream Cheese but no bagels.
I love this place for their produce and meats especially chorizo. They make the best chorizi in Chicago area, but I bought 9 lbs chorizo Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was very salty. Very SALTY that we couldnt eat with scrambled eggs. What amI going to do with the rest of it?? I have to mention that my husband is Mexican, were married 30 years and even he couldnt stand how salty it was. Besides that II would rate you guys/ friendly personnel 5 stars.
Cermak Produce always has the produce I’m looking for at the best prices and always so fresh. Shopping carts are kept clean, disinfected and they also provide hand sanitizer. It’s so nice to see the care for shoppers.
I love there vegetables, they have a great selection of different types. Whats even greater than that I can afford fruit along with that. I will continue to come here for those things. Originally I was coming in for meat and I was never dissatisfied with there meat either. Thanks to you I can buy the things I need and still get fruits and vegetables which are very important to me. So I say thank you for not only help me but other people in the community.
I use to love this store. Have been going for 9 years. My visit today I had one of their lead cashiers Jessica push my cart into my legs while I was putting the groceries on the lane just so she could put a box of KitKats that didn’t even fit.With no excuse me can you move your cart she just chose to push it right into me. And she didn’t even bother to apologize for hitting me with the cart.
Great selection of produce and at a great price. Unbeatable prices for meats just make sure you check the dates on them. I come here all the time. Even if there’s a long line at check out they still move quickly. Store is always clean.
I dont come here alot, but when I do there is always something wrong. Some of their products are NOT fresh. The sliced sandwich bread was moldy and expired. The pre-packaged chicken was smelly and slimy. I had to throw it away when I got home. But their fresh produce is usually okay and the employees are usually nice too.
People are so rude here. They dont greet you when youre shopping,employees all over the store and not one person can say,are finding everything you need, not to mention the cashiers . unacceptable.today at 12pm went to this location again. No hi how are you good afternoon nothing what happen to training employees for better customer service.
Their produce is the best Ive ever had. The selection is mind blowing. Their selection on rice beans spices meats..amazing. But the last time I went here it had to be about 40 degrees in there and it was so unbearable I didnt last 10 minutes..i had to leave.
Everything in this location is fresh! The produce section is always full and employees are constantly bringing out more product and getting rid of bad product. The meat selection is full and has a ton of options! Some items are high priced, could be bought at Walmart for a cheaper price, but I come here for specialty items and fresh produce.Most, if not all, employees speak mainly Spanish. Usually not a problem, but can be when trying to order items from the meat counter/deli counter. But employees are always nice.

This place is the best! They have so many fruits and veggies, many varieties that are harder to find, all really good quality. I feel like they have all those ingredients that you really want but cant find other places. They had sooo many kinds of salsa, great meat options, and about 25 different kinds of sugar. Prices are good, such a good place to shop.

Cermak has great produce at low prices. Their meat and deli are reasonable too. The store is spotless and the employees are very nice. They have a lot of Hispanic items but they have a good selection of all kinds of groceries.
Love this store. The produce is usually filled. Hard working people that try there best at doing there job. As far as organic food not many but I not picky. If you are looking for organic isles than this store is not for you. They do have moderate prices for fruits and vegetables. The deli meat they have a variety and they even have a small pace to order hot food. Great for when you are out of work and forgot to prep or simply you dont feel like cooking. I can say, the guisados that I have tried are authentic Mexican flavors but as far as the fried stuff I will reserve my comment. The meat counter has great and bad butchers but overall more good than bad. Theres an older short man that he is always super attentive and will do about any cut you ask. There are new guys that are also somewhat to help. Most of them arent fluent in the english language but are very happy to help anyone. Please be patient or ask another customers as Latinos are ALWAYS willing to translate. This store is heavy on Mexican products so if you just watch the Chef Rick Bayless show and are feeling the Mexican cuisine than head over to Cermak. Most of the cashier are ok. Overall, great store with heavy on the Mexican products with hard working people that are always, willing to help you.

Produce prices are going up over the summer I don’t recall how many watermelons I bought maybe 2 were sweet, as for cantaloupes hard as bricks. And I know I am not the only complaining but this store is always too cold to shop.
Some stuff is very overpriced but what I loved was that the fruits/veggies are in front as soon as you walk in!!! At other stores youre hit with a barrage of sweets and breads. I bought a Pollo Bravo rotisserie chicken that was hot and had roasted jalapenos as well as roasted red peppers and onions in the bottom it was amazing!!!

Im so upset!!!! You have to have a quarter (coin) in order to retrieve a shopping cart, but the slots are jammed, bend or whatever the case. Bottom line it doesnt work. Very upsetting specially in a 10 degree weather and all the carts are outside.01/09/21 again another dissatisfied visit. Im very big in fruits, specially oranges and tangerines. They are all dry and nasty inside, but the outside looks great.
Its a great place to buy your fruits, vegetables, and meats. Theyre pretty reasonably priced. The parking lot is pretty small, so youll struggle to find parking on busy days.
I do my shopping there bedford going to walmart. But this is the second complaint i have reported to the manager in less than 2 months. It has to do with the meat department. The dont wear their masks correctly. 2nd compliant and it still going on. They are mostly having conversations with profanity. With the mask half way, nose out and mouth visible! To top it off i witnessed one employee on the other side of the glass putting on gloves. Grabbing his cellphone holding it fxing it in top of the counter and then started grabbing the meat to put it in the machine. That to me was disgusting . Cellphones have the most germs! And why is he aloud to have it in there. I have a picture of this. If they have this disgusting behavior in front where people see them. It makes me wonder what they do when we dont see them! Time to try the new Tonys.

They read the numbers only in Spanish. Sorry not everyone understands it. My husband kept getting skipped and the people behind the counter told him that was his problem. Racism at its finest. Your store will never get a dime out of me. Dont worry Ive already shared my experience with others.

I come here once a week especially for their baked bread. Find everything I want. The loss of the stars is due to their dishonest response when you ask about the bread. When you ask how long for the next batch of bread will be ready their answer is ALWAYS 15 minutes but they have no clue. Thats what they tell you to get you out of their hair...
The store is neat clean and u always find what u need ..the problem is with the cashier yesterday , she looks mad and I say hi and thank you at the end and she didnt answer back ., I know they are really stressed out some times .but dont get a job like that because u have to deal with costumers all day

Best place to go to get meat and produce. Their prices are within my budget. If you are looking for fresh Sofrito and other Latin cooking needs this is the place to get it and the prices arent out of range.
The vegetables are always full of water like the cilantro and lettuce the rest is good . also most of the meat and meats are never fresh the ham goes bad and the meat that is in packages. other Carmack produce I have to issues with also the staff is friendly and everything is well organize .

Pretty overpriced on several of their items and they never have skim milk in stock. The best thing to buy here is meat and poultry - always a good deal on those items.
Gosh they have such a variety of vegetables fruits meats and basic goods. There deli section has to much fud lunchmeats and not much variety. There sides like potato salad etc. Not enough variety.

I went in for the first time and staff was very rude stared at me about four if them as I walked in not even greeting me . I felt uncomfortable and unwanted I will never be back .
Good food. But I always go early or late. It is very uncomfortable to do groceries there where there are people (limited space).
They racially profile people and follow me around the store everytime I go, so I finally decided to stop giving them my money.
I go every week to buy my groceries....this week the prices are ridiculously very high...no wonder there was hardly anyone at the store...if prices were reasonable they would have more customers....they rather throw away the food than to sell at a lower price

Went here to get some ribeye steaks. The butcher didnt speak English and even when translated he asked another one that was there and He seamed bathered by the request. The first butcher looked upset trying to help me and the other butcher would not help him! Needless to say I left upset and no steaks!!! Not happy!!!

2022-02-27I love the place. They have the biggest meats that meat my needs. The cashiers are truly amazing. They are super kind and nice. Many say that they are rude and that they don’t greet you, but that isn’t true. My favorite cashier is Steve he’s so sweet and I love his attitude ❤️He’s also super cute and I found this really funny picture of him. I saw a few cashiers talking about him and saw a funny picture they made of him and I asked them to send it to me because I think he is super cute 😍

2022-04-20Like most produce stores, except this store is marketed toward Hispanic customers. Prices are decent on some but not all the vegetables. Parking Is great. The store appears to be visibly clean. Its a small store but youre in and out in a decent time frame.

2022-07-20False advertisement at this store. Every item that doesnt have a price physically stamped on it is always rung up at a slightly higher price than advertised on the sales floor. This happens every time I go in there. This has been going on for a few years since I 1st noticed. Its literally just a few cents per item $0.10 - $0.20. Just enough for the customers not to notice. And for those who do notice, it wont seem like a big deal. But it is a big deal. When you have hundreds or even thousands of customers a day multiplied by every overpriced item, its literally theft. Ive been meaning to report them to the better business bureau. Aside from that, their merchandise is a bit on the pricey side but they sell good quality groceries here. Otherwise Id be rating them 1 star.

2022-06-19The store is immaculate but I didnt like being followed around.I had just completed working 12 hours on third shift and I looked like something that the cat brought in.I guess my bicycle helmet shocked the little midget manager because he followed me all around the store.The checkout clerk was very cold.Maybe I should have went to the 51st and Pulaski location because they are much more freindly and there a lady selling wonderful tamales outside.

2022-05-08I bought 2 Horchatas and some fruit and it was all bad. I didnt notice until my son told me it tasted weird late at night. I checked it and it was all bad. The Horchatas were bulky. I tried to take it back and the lady at customer service said they couldnt do anything without the receipt. I dont keep food receipts because I never plan to return food. Now I know not to ever buy made food from here or at least keep your receipt until you check all your food.

2022-05-15Went shopping today at cermak produce they have a really good price on chicken legs quarters this week,. At 79 cents a pound is a good deal, but its not in a butcher department its in the case pre-packaged , they had skirt steak pre-packaged already prepared for $8.99 a pound and tomatoes on the vine at 69 cents a pound very good sales this week
