Caf Zupas in other cities:
Great fast, healthy casual spot! I brought my kids with and we all at very well for about $25 (3 kids). The soups were fantastic and I love that you can see the kitchen where everything is made. The facility is very clean and the employees were very nice, despite my kids being super indecisive about their meals as a line formed behind us! We would absolutely visit Cafe Zupas again when we are in the area!
I love Zupas!! They have the best salads, soups and sandwiches. They also have really good desserts (that I can never resist) but the meals do include a complimentary chocolate covered strawberry. A very nice surprise! Also, the employees are always super friendly. Great service.
The customer service at this particular Zupas is just excellent! I always have weird orders (Wisconsin Cauliflower with mozzarella pearls? No problem!) and they have always gone above and beyond to accommodate them. Today in particular JC was just amazing about figuring out what I needed and making it happen. Kudos to the management for keeping such a vibrant, cohesive team together during a global pandemic!
This place has gone down hill. Drive-thru is garbage. They have you wait in the back by what looks like a storage area. They didnt bring my food and I had to go inside to get it. All I ordered was a soup! Then the soup gave me major diarrhea. I havent eaten since breakfast and got the soup about 4:15pm. NEVER AGAIN! Im sure only the manager has a serve safe certificate. Train your staff on hygiene!!!!
My husband, mother in law & I came for lunch last Thursday. I had never heard of this restaurant. I was SO pleasantly surprised!Being vegan sometimes it can be difficult for me to find things to eat at certain restaurants. But I had no problem here, the staff was so helpful! The food was absolutely fantastic! Everything was so fresh and delicious.I live 45 minutes from where this is so I really hope that theyBuild one near me
I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to this time. This one employee named Ariana is really peddling to the medal whenever I go in. She always is so amazing at taking my order and makes me the best quality salads I’ve ever had. She is so kind and always makes me feel so at home. I look forward to my next visit where I’ll definitely go feral for the food she provides 😁.
I have always like Zupas especially since they have vegetarian options. This past weekend was the second time I had meat stuck to my sandwich. I gave them a second chance since the first time the manager said that they usually have one grill for no meat sandwiches but it was down. This time I got a full slice of bacon stuck to my sandwich! Needless to say I will no longer be supporting Zupas and hope that if you are vegetarian you fully check your sandwich before you eat it like it did. Couldnt imagine what I would have felt like if I would have eaten it. Horrible.
3rd time in a row they got my order wrong and placing my order over an hour in advance was still 10+ minutes after I got there. I get that theyre busy but I ordered in advance and it was still wrong and they werent nice about it. I had to argue with them to get the incorrect meal fixed. Honestly Im not a big complainer but if I have to call to let you know it was incorrect you acknowledged I got the wrong order as soon as I said my order was wrong (you got the seafood sandwich didnt you I had ordered grilled cheese) it was a pain to come back in to get a new meal made then argue with the cashier who wanted to charge me for the corrected meal. I was then given coupons to get free lunch in the drive thru pick up and it was wrong two more times and it took forever.l dispute advance online ordering. Lunch there is not cheap you need to do better Zupas not sure Ill be back Im so disappointed and wasted so much of my breaks
In Utah (where Im from), Zupas is a household name like any other fast-food restaurant. They do what McDonalds and friends could never hope to do though, cause you to slow down and enjoy the food. They deserve 5+ stars and more regular customers for good wholesome food.
Generally I love coming here. The food is fantastic and never seems to disappoint but today in particular I did not appreciate the service that was provided. A bleach blonde haired girl with glasses taking my sister and I’s order had an annoyed attitude which was completely unnecessary. We politely put in our order for simply two sandwiches but she rolled her eyes and delayed asking for my sister’s order until she stood there to finally be recognized. Hopefully this gets addressed instead of looked over.
Used Cafe Zupas to cater our offices lunch this past Monday. Sam from the cafe took our personal Box Lunch over the phone. She spent time to make sure all the order details, names, and desserts were in the system. Was able to pay over the phone, the order was delivered on time, with NO mistakes on 13 personal orders! It was nice to hear from the regional manager too after. Great Customer Service, Friendly and Great Quality Food...would recommend! Thank you!
We ordered food for curbside pickup. After waiting for 15 minutes I went inside. The employees just looked at each other when I asked about my order. Finally one employee pointed to a table and said that may be our order. It was and I just received a sorry from one employee. When we got home my salad had no chicken even though it was supposed to have it. I called the store manager who told me he would refund us for the salad. A week later and no refund. Not a well managed restaurant. We will not be returning.
Serving sizes are ridiculously small. I ordered a large Southwest protein bowl to go and it looked like only half the container was filled to me. It didnt nearly look the size of what panera serves as a full salad. There was probably 3 shreds of cheese and three small pepper slices... what?? couldnt even tell if it really had cheese and peppers. The pork was tasty, but couldnt have been more than 2.5oz of meat. I weigh my food so Im pretty good at eyeballing the weight of meat. It was definitely not enticing enough to return there for $11 for half a salad, especially since Im still hungry after a PROTEIN bowl. I came here many, many years ago and remember the servings being too small, but thought Id give it a try again... now Im wishing I gave my money to Panera...
I rated this place 5 stars 2 years ago, I just ordered 40$ worth of food from Uber and I must say this place has declined.Where to start, the potato soup was watery and had virtually no potatoes in it.The Avacodo Crab sandwich was soggy and untoasted like it was taken out early, couldnt even finish the meal. The Half Chicken Enchilada chili was watery and inedible. The offer Baquettes but give you rolls.I will never order from this place again 40$ went into the garbage.
I drive for Uber eats as a side hustle. This location in Bloomingdale has been a really great place to pick up from. A lot of very friendly and helpful staff.A big shout out to Sam. She took care of a customer order issue that I had tonight. She was very prompt and apologetic because an item in the order had to be replaced. Customer was extremely happy that she took care of his order and she got me back on the road with very little delay.Thank you Sam. You are awesome!
Tried this for the first time today. Came across it on GrubHub. I did the pick two with the California Cobb Salad and the Chicken Enchilada Chili. The flavors were amazing. I really enjoyed the fresh herb vinaigrette. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the side of bread and that’s fine with me. Every meal comes with a single chocolate covered strawberry which was nice. I did knock off a few stars though bc the servings were very small, yet it cost more than a similar situation at Panera or Potbelly where you get bigger “halves”. The salad in particular was very small. I ate everything and don’t feel full. I would go back but would either try to just stick with full sized items hoping that’s better or different combo’s, maybe with a sandwich instead.
First time trying this place after hearing good things. Service was good and the whole place seemed really nice and clean. But then upon opening my meal back at home it seemed that both my salad and sandwich were missing ingredients. No avocado (or an invisibly minuscule amount) on my crab avocado sandwich, no broccolini or snap peas in my salad that were listed as included in the ingredients. Not sure if they were training new staff or running short on certain ingredients or what the deal was. It wasn’t busy either. I’m not usually one to complain as I’ve worked in the service industry, but this was a lot of stuff. Meal would have been great if it came with everything it said it would.
I am absolutely grateful for your worker Emma. I’ve noticed that she works here a lot because I go here almost everyday to grab something and I always catch her there working hard. For a young girl like her she seems to be outstanding!!! I always see her to be in a good mood talking with all her coworkers and they seem to be very comfortable around her because of her bubbly personality. I’ve talked to her some times of being there and she always makes sure my experience there is top notch. Thank you Emma!!!
Clearly unable to handle lunch rush, or more than more than 8 people in line. I stood in line for 27 minutes, basically wasting my whole lunch. On top of that when I finally made it to the register, they only made half of my order and were very confused. Good food, terrible service.
This is one of my favorite spots for lunch. The food is fresh and the employees are always friendly. My favorite items are the chicken enchilada chili and the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich but I can honestly say that I havent had a bad meal here. And I love the chocolate covered strawberry that comes with every meal. Its a nice way to end a good meal!!
Let me begin that I am allergic to onions. I ordered through DoorDash and marked it please no onions I am allergic I also called the restaurant to make sure they wouldnt put onions on. I explained that I am allergic. I was assured they wouldnt put them on. I got my order and when I bit into the sandwich, there onions all over it. I had to give myself an epishot to prevent my throat from closing. I called the restaurant and the gal who answered was just like. Oh, sorry very nonchalant. She could give a hoot. No, empathy what so ever. I explained that this could have killed me (I had cousin die from a restaurant not preparing his order correctly after he requested them to omit an ingredient). The girl said maam what do you want, I said sorry. I guess I could refund you. Never received a refund. I emailed their corporate offices and received no response as well. It is seriously not that hard not to put, onions on an item. Every other restaurant seems to be able to. So, be warned if you decide to go there and need something omitted because you are allergic they dont care and will ignore the fact it could kill you. Also, they gave me the wrong dessert, and their child mac and cheese cheese is water with noodles.
The last 3 times I have ordered the cauliflower soup the recipe has been totally inconsistent. The first time it was as thick as mashed potatoes and the last 2 times it was like water. No cauliflower no cheese no leeks. I had this before COVI D and it was great. What happened to standards? Please fix thisFrustrated
Decided to try this for the first time, the menu on the outside seemed pretty tasty so we went in. ordered a kids meal chicken strips and fruit, decent price and my daughter liked them. i ordered their combo (turkey bacon avocado) which was great because it came with a full sandwich and a bowl of soup, which was under 10 dollars. i also liked that both meals came with a chocolate covered strawberry. i also enjoyed the drink bar they have.what i did not like was the amount of time our food was sitting out while we waited for other people in front of us to get their food and pay. the soup sat on a counter in front of me and the sandwich and chicken tenders sat on a counter behind the workers, which resulted in not so hot soup. the staff seemed very confused on what to do and how to handle the busyness, which is understandable considering this is a new restaurant. however, they should interact with the customers considering our food sits in front of our faces and we cant do anything about it. i also did not like that at each station in the line there was no communication so once you get to the cashier they have no idea which food is yours. i also did not like the proportion of the sandwich. i also asked for it without tomato and it came with tomato. one side had a little half piece of bacon and 2 extremely thin pieces of turkey with a glob of avocado that i had to wipe most off. the last thing i did not like is how close together all of he tables are so it makes it harder for people to cautiously walk through with a tray full of food.i probably wont eat here for a long time or until the staff becomes more proficient in what they are doing and maybe a make your own sandwich option.
I absoulutely love coming to this location! Great food and friendly staff always make me want to come back. Ashley has gone out of her way to make this location hold up to the Café Zupas reputation and elivate it to become my favorite place to eat and i will continue to come back. Keep up the great work Ashley!
Very tasty, and well prepared fresh food! Bright and clean, the design of the restaurant is tailored to make you feel as if you are eating healthy...and if you make the right choices, you are. Lovely salads, fresh soups, and a nice selection of sandwiches. I dined in, and was surprised to see a cute little packet containing a fresh chocolate dipped strawberry on my tray. Nice touch! The drink selection was amazing. Fresh infused fruit juices and teas, along with the traditional soft drink options. I can see myself stopping in just for one of the infused drinks alone! If you have a diet restriction, they make it super easy to see the ingredients, and caloric count. Items are marked Keto Paleo, Gluten Free etc.I am so excited to have found this great place!
My first order using online ordering. The mangoberry salad I got as a combo option was sooooo good. Probably only reason why I didnt rate this place any lower. I went around 2pm, as to not hit that lunch hour rush.My order was not ready at the time my email notification indicated.I went inside and there are no markers as to where to pick up food. I literally had to hide and seek the online order section. There werent even that many people inside. There definitely were enough workers so not an under staffing issue. Not one employee greeted or acknowledged me. There were at least 3 times that an associate walked right passed me without asking if they could help in any way. When my order was finally ready I went to get it from the shelve and the employee there didnt even say thank you or have a nice day.I usually go there because I crave the tomato basil soup but today even that didnt taste as good as it usually does.I dont know Cafe Zupa, your customer service was definitely lacking today.
Delicious food, great staff, clean restaurant, good portions. I’ve seen many people on here say they only fill the cup “2/3 of the way”, which I’ve asked about and it’s called portion sizing. The meals are filling unless you haven’t ate all day in that case get a larger size. Their large soup is 8 ounces which is an extremely large soup. I’m truly unsure how people complain about not enough food. Absolutely amazing place, would 100% recommend 5/5.
The food is much healthier than your average restaurant from salads to fresh made sandwiches. This is a very family-friendly place which makes it comforting and welcoming. One nice thing is most entrees come with a fresh chocolate dipped strawberry, I would recommend this to a friend
Manager there named Ashley seems to be unprofessional. Her fake personality is noticeable with the laugh and voice she gives out to customers. I see her constantly on her phone where her employees take orders/make food. I come here at different times on different days and notice the employees seem more happy and confident when she’s not working. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Serving sizes are a joke for salads and soups. Very small salads even for the regular size, asked for blueberries and they put 2 small blueberries. We ordered a half and full size salad and they were the same exact size.Edit: changed review to one star. they opened a new drive thru so I ordered for pickup. Ended up waiting 25 min additional. I came in to check on the status and after 25 min they still didnt even start it when the entire restaurant was empty.
Don’t order from here regularly unless you want your order to be wrong. I order from here when I’m at work once or twice a week because it’s quick and convenient. But I ordered a bbq chicken salad through DoorDash today and I was given something entirely different even though it was labeled bbq chicken, and I’m entirely done with this. There literally wasn’t even a single piece of chicken in my salad. I don’t understand how you make something that says chicken in the name and done give me chicken. And I don’t like what I was given at all so now I have no lunch. And this isn’t the first time. 2 stars only because sometimes it’s right but they really need to focus on training their people better on how to correctly fulfill orders without mistakes. I know we don’t live in a perfect world and mistakes happen, but they happen far too often from this location.
Definitely coming back!Pros: Healthy, fast, tasty food. The ingredients taste fresh and the environment is fun and clean. The salad, soups, and drinks are really good and taste house made. Great variety: you can make your own salad and the menu changes with the seasons. Portions are a good size. Some people complain that the portions are small, but when you look at the calories, for a half soup, half salad with tea, strawberry, and baguette, the caloric intake is about 1,000 calories. If they increased the portions, the calories would be insane for most calorie minded folks.Cons: I was not a fan of the sandwiches. The bread was too doughy for my taste. I feel like they could go further with the sourcing of their ingredients in terms of being more environmentally/health conscious (e.g organic, cage-free) for the price point and market theyre competing with.
Very very cramped if you eat there. Friendly staff and the chocolate dipped strawberry with your meal is a nice touch. The soups were OK, hubby really enjoyed his sandwich. They have unsweetened iced tea, a drink machine and their own home made concoctions (which werent for me).
Food is a 4 or 5 starService is a 4 or 5 starPulling a roll out of a plastic bag doesn’t scream “house made fresh from our kitchen”Always seems too cold in there regardless of the time of year.Watching my soup cool off while the one cashier handles 4 people ahead of me waiting for sandwiches is not that much fun.Small process changes would really help this place. It’s far better than average so I will deal with what I mentioned above. Plus staff is very nice.
The staff here is a hoot. Always friendly and fast. How I personally describe the food is, Panera...but better. Not only is the food fresher, the ingredients they have in each dish are very well picked. The soups are 10/10, I recommend the Wisconsin Cauliflower! They have infused water (wish is a favorite of mine) and a chocolate covered strawberry with each dish...who wouldnt want that?!
Food is nothing special. The lobster bisque at the Marianos in the same shopping center is better. Portions are small and they need to be more organized on getting all food out at same time. I ordered a soup and hot sandwich. While i was in the food ordering line, they placed the soup in a bowl on my tray and asked me to move along until I got to the cashier. There I waited for my sandwich and the cashier continued business/conversation over my soup which got cold and perhaps even got some complimentary bacteria.
I go to this superb restaurant often since I enjoy the good mood that is unique to this restaurant. The staff is extremely cordial and experienced. The service is extremely fast. Needless to say, the food they cook is great. I have been there many times and I was always satisfied. The cost is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.
Love this place! I stumbled upon this place why looking for something different to eat. The concept is great, the food tasted good, the staff was fun and courteous. I definitely recommend going to this place if youre looking for a decent place to eat lunch or dinner. Its fast food but its fresh and a lot better than walking into a greasy burger joint.
This place is awesome!!!We tried this place last night for the first time...doordash delivery. The food was great...everything was super delicious...the presentation and labeling was very thoughtful and well organized and the chocolate covered strawberry was a very nice touch...very classy!!!
Zupas really is just the best place for lunch ever! The soups range from very high calorie, to less than 100 calories per serving but they all taste amazing! I could eat lunch here everyday and never get sick of it because the selection is huge. Great job everybody that works there, you are all so nice and friendly everyday I really appreciate what great service you provide. Bravo!
Slowest service ever and nothing had to be cooked. There are no customers in the restaurant and about 5 employees working. Ordered ahead for pickup at 8 and didn’t get our order until 8:15. Got home and my order was wrong 😩 Ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich with no honey mustard. My sandwich came with only, Turkey, tomato, and honey mustard. How is it a turkey bacon avocado sandwich without the bacon and avocado 🤷♀️ Will not be returning.
Definitely one of my top places to eat. The upper management is always nice and maybe 1 or 2 girls has a resting b***h face which is off putting but fine.Food is always great and fresh, decently priced for soup and sandwich, can be pricey if you add all the sides and desserts.
The food was very good. The prices are on the higher side. Food is fresh. The staff is nice to an extent. It looks like you dont get a lot, but it is surprisingly filling. My one disappointment was the soups I bought was almost 3/4 full. Pricey, but not a full container.
Fast, sleek, friendly, and tasty. Im a big fan of soups and since becoming vegetarian I have not had many chain restaurants satisfy the soup itch. Zupas is the way to go. I especially love the consumer-focused considerations, like infused water beverage options and recharging station. Ill be coming here again for sure.
We came to this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff were very polite and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was yummy. We loved this place very much and we shall absolutely come back again. We recommend this place to all.
I was the first person in line and ordered two pick-two combos. My sandwich order was fine and I moved to the soup section. In the meantime, the line had grown. I waited to place my soup order, and waited, and waited. Twelve, yes I counted, minutes later, a new person suddenly showed up and took my soup order. Then, moved to the register. A third person suddenly showed up from the back and took my money. Total time in line was 17 minutes, and I was the first one in line. Wont be going back.
Got 3 combos, soups salads and paninis are all flavorful and great portions, black berry basil drink was smooth and refreshing..everything was delicious...love the pumpkin spice creme brulee and the complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries to top it off!!!))) Definitely coming back!!
This place is so good. So many different options and everything is super fresh organic ingredients. Many healthy options too. I think my favorite part is how many different unique creations are on the menu. This is definitely an awesome modern twist on a traditional deli.
Bright and shiney and clean on the inside but not all that impressed with the salads. When you pay $8 bucks for a large salad you want a large salad. Ordered a large Strawberry Harvest salad. The girl assembling my salad counted out 4 THINLY sliced strawberries, counted out 8 dried cranberries and so on for everything else. She was very careful about it to. My wife got a small salad and they were pretty much the same size in volume. The bottom line to me is that the large salad is not worth the extra money....go small and save your money because thats what your going to get anyways.Very disappointing.
I really enjoy their salads and soup much more than Panera. The choc covered strawberry in the combo meal is a nice treat. The different flavored ice tea available is good. My fav is still making the old fashioned Arnold Palmer using any of the teas. I like the mango tea the best.
Good soup and salad combinations. Always more than couple of soups you want to try. Lots off salads withe the options to customize. There homemade drinks are taaty too, better than soda options. Though if you go late, they might be empty. And then add the chocolate covered strawberry for desert.
I never write reviews about places but Im moved to write this because Im really hoping the management at Cafe Zupas in Bloomingdale, IL might see this. Today was my first time going. I ordered a sandwich and soup. The sandwich was really good, however my soup was almost cold. The reason why I did not mention anything about the soup being cold was because of the way one of your employees named Crystal dealt with a gentleman who was right in front of me while paying for my meal. He told Crystal his soup was cold and she took his soup away. When she came back, very abruptly she said, Sorry sir, thats as warm as its going to get. And walked away. I was AMAZED how rude she was to him. When I realized my soup was cold too, I remembered how she was to him and didnt feel comfortable approaching anyone about it. I will say that will not be returning to cafe Zupas again.
Café Zupas is like a Michelin Star version of Panera. If Zupas manages to keep their ingredients and methods the same, they have plenty of potential and no shortage of referrals (especially from me).Great selection of paninis and soups. Other sandwiches are good, not great, and I cannot comment on the salads... yet.The homemade drinks are phenomenal. They really do taste like theyre made of the simple ingredients on the label.
I had the Maui salad along with the vegetable chowder soup. Both were very good and i really loved the hugh chocolate covered strawberry that came with each order. BUT.... the music was so load you could barely hear the person talking the order. Tried to find a quite corner away from the crowd and noise.
This place is really good. We stumbled on it with a quick search for soup. I was a bit intimidated with the menu. Once I understood the process, it was a home run. My wife and I have been back 3 times in a week. It will be our lunch spot for a while, with so many options to choose from.
Amazing food! Try 2 combo is prefect - pick from a whole ciabatte bread sandwich, half soup, or half salad. If you are doing a single item, soups are cheaper. Mostly everything is made fresh in house. Walk-in and they greet you with their paper menu. Wish they had hand sanitizer available or sample soups while you wait in their typically busy line. You order your sandwich and salad at the first counter then slide over to the soups which you can taste. This typically holds up the line with everyone wanting to try their 10 different soups. My favorite is the Roasted Red Pepper & Lobster!!! Im not to excited about their cold piece of bread they give you with the soup, wish they would warm it up. Plus soup toppings are extra like croutons; they put them right in the soup which get soggy by the time you start eating your soup. After picking your soup, you can choose one of their amazing looking deserts but their free chocolate covered strawberry its usually enough for me. Remember what you ordered because youll need to let them know by the register so they can gather it on your tray and charge you. I highly recommend you try one of their drink infusions, my absolute favorite is the strawberryorange......wow!!!!!! Seating is extremely tight, chairs are noisy, just moving them a tad. They have USB and wall outlets available at the high chair bar style seating by the bathrooms. They also have window blinds in case the sun blazes on your table (cant believe some places dont have this on their windows). Also leave your tray on the table, they will swing by and pick it up. Overall I eat here often, on my own, with my family (includes 2 little ones), and with friends. I highly recommend it!!!
This was our first time trying this place in let me tell u it was absolutely amazing!!!! The young lady that was doin the drive thru was awesome and very nice 👌Also they gave us a delicious chocolate strawberry 🍓 we definitely recommend and will definitely be back!!!!
My experience was with Gabrielle drive through very polite very patient i screwed up my order and she made sure it came out right i also tried to tip her she wouldnt take it i will be back because i love people like her patients smiles and i felt welcomed those are things i love coming to fast food great job Gabrielle keep up good work you rock . this is for schumburg location
We walked in to a large menu that has A LOT listed on it and very challenging to see. I asked for a paper menu and they said they didnt have one. They only filled the small soup bowl up barley 3/4 the way. It seems odd to not actually fill the soup bowl up. Soup was ok. The lady behind the counter seemed annoyed and was not very pleasant.
Large selection of soups ,salads , and sandwiches so be prepared to know what you want before getting in line. The try 2 combo is the way to go for $9.39 which if you pick a sandwich(full size) and salad(smaller but adequate size)you will be full. Combo includes a chocolate covered strawberry and small roll. I had the HONEY CILANTRO CARNITAS sandwich and the MANGOBERRY salad. totally pleased.
I went into this store around 8:30 to get some food for my girlfriend (whos a vegetarian). I ordered an Asian citrus chicken salad as part of the pick two, but made sure to ask for tofu instead of chicken because as previously stated shes vegetarian. The lady making the food nodded, so i assumed she heard me. Then i went to order an ultimate grilled cheese but the lady said to hold on. I walk down to the register and sitting there is just the salad, so i walk back to the original lady and ask for the grilled chesse. Finally im about to pay and the total came to $16, which seemed far off, but Ive never ordered there. I get home and she starts to eat the salad she notices the tofu was actually chicken. She had to pick it all out. Then i find out the pick two shouldve been $10. Not satisfied.
Its early days for this Panera meets Protein Bar fast-casual restaurant in the notorious Bloomingdale-Carol Stream food desert...BUT...I like what Im seeing so far. Service is a bit slow in week one and staff look a bit flustered, but the menu is solid for the area and you can definitely tell a lot of effort has been put in by ownership in launching this site. The line was long and it seems like locals are genuinely excited about getting a premium fast casual chain in what has long been a restaurant graveyard for gourmet and chain restaurants alike.Menu is very health focused: think Panera meets Protein Bar meets Zoup. I got a sandwich and a salad, but they also have quino protein bowls that look interesting.Bottom line: if youre anywhere but Carol Stream-Bloomingdale, you might want to hit up another fast causal spot, but for this infamously vacant culinary wasteland, its a welcome edition and should thrive where others have failed. I give these guys credit for opening here and trying to bring a more cosmopolitan chain to a very uncosmopolitan town.
Great food, friendly staff; very disorganized behind the counter. 10-12 people running but nothing much getting done (sandwich/salad station). Been there for at least 10 visits since opened without much change in their process. Friendly Suggestion: At the 1st soup/sandwich station, why not jot down the customer first name and order to pass along thru all stations thru to the register. Instead you are asked multiple times at each station what your order is and then again a final time at the register - uugggghh. for dine-in, start a food tray and paper with the customer name/order. For carryout either start a bag or order ticket with customer name/order - now keep it moving down thru the stations until the register. No repeats and no mess-ups!
Food was good however my experience was not so good. The staff was flustered and one lady with blonde hair was rude! I just asked for a few extra cucumbers...Advice to management please work to train your staff! I prob wont visit the Bloomingdale location for a while but will check out the Schaumburg one.

2022-02-12Such a great, healthy alternative to typical fast food places! Everything is always fresh and delicious! The portions are huge! The variety is terrific! I absolutely love this place! I always get the sandwich and salad combo for about $10, plus you get a chocolate dipped strawberry and a fresh roll with with. Its more than enough to fill you up! I hope they open more locations all over the Chicagoland area!

2021-12-12Who does not love chocolate strawberries??? There is something for everyone. I had a chickpea soup and girls enjoyed tomato soup and a chicken salad!! Total win with the strawberries at the end or the beginning does it really matter? Ok second time tried the mushroom bisque OMG soup which was WOW!! So GOOD! The vegetarian sandwich with tofu was AMAZING!! I added some truffle hot sauce to take up a few extra notches and did not disappoint!!

2021-12-02Lol. Welp. Not the Cafe Zupas it used to be. My “steak and cheese sandwich” is paper thin and bite-sized with maybe a few pieces of meat. The chicken enchilada “chili” is practically water/broth. Don’t be cheap/cut corners Cafe Zupas, cmon. What is this???? Lol????

2022-07-15Had an excellent experience at Cafe Zupas this evening. The whole staff was friendly and helpful from the second we walked in until the moment we left. Fernando in particular was an awesome cashier and pleasant to talk to while we waited for our food. We will back back again just because of him!

2022-04-11My wife had a salad that was hard to eat due to the Spinach having the stems on the leafs. We both had a SMALL bowl of soup, and I had a sandwich, both bowls of soup were just slightly warm. For $30 plus dollars, Id expect a little more.

2022-04-06A much better alternative to Panera and the like. Healthy, fresh, and with bigger portion sizes at a lower price. I got a pick two and got a bigger sandwich and salad than a full portion size at Panera. Very clean and modern inside. Convenient pickup counter.

2022-06-27I wasn’t able to place an online order and they sent me to the restaurant because I USED TO love this restaurant so I went. And I got there and it was closed. Tried to call them and apparently their call center does not communicate with the store. All reps from call center and restaurant were rude. Refused to take accountability. F this restaurant

2021-01-14This is the second time in the past month work has ordered from here and again there’s hardly anything but leaves in my order. It’s missing bacon, egg and has three slices of cucumber and hardly any steak. If you want to stay in business you need to make sure your customers are happy and satisfied. I’m neither and won’t be ordering from here again.
