Worst service I’ve probably experienced ever. This site deserves no stars for the service I received today. A manager “Tatianna” I believe her name is messed up a simple order and refused to fix it. “That’s what you ordered and that’s what you got. Get out my line.” Wow!!!! Burger King when I worked there as a kid was not like this. Smh
Only had a 30 minute lunch and asked for a simple combo meal. And what I received was one flat soda, stale and not very warm fries, and a chicken sandwich that all but the lettuce looked like was sitting in a warmer for 2 hours. Probably wont ever buy Burger King from here or possibly in general and will definitely recommend to everyone to steer clear of this location! Ended up giving the meal to a homeless man at the street corner and even he said that their service is terrible....
Food is okay but service is abysmal. Order taker talked over me when I tried to confirm our order in the drive-thru, saying it was 100% guaranteed to be correct. After we received our order in the drive-thru, one Impossible burger was missing and we were not given a receipt. My husband went in to get the other burger and ask for receipts. The third Impossible burger was not on the original order because the order taker refused to confirm the entire order or ask if we wanted anything else. Also, receipts did not have a the survey code. We go to other Burger Kings in the area and have never been treated so rudely. Avoid this place!
Terrible! First time coming to this location as a pass by, and the girl refused to answer the drive thru. Yet two other cars came and she serviced them. This girl really didn’t want to service a Latina. But the two cars that passed were white people.All this on a Sunday afternoon. And the lobby was closed. You clearly see them inside.
The food is nasty and the service Worse I just ordered a spicy sandwich meal and they only put the bread and the meat nothing else I asked for a coke and they give me Cherry coke. I was starving and I’m at home already I’m a little too far from there But I don’t know how they can hire the type of workers they should fire them
This is the first time Ive eaten at Burger King in YEARS! When my children were younger, wed eat there maybe 1-2 times a month, but for a long time, BK was dirty and rundown and that made me feel like the food was suspect. Im happy to say that todays visit was a welcome surprise. The restaurant was clean and modern. The food was hot and fresh. I will be visiting again in the near future.
I ordered 40 chicken nuggets and 2 large fries from Door Dash when I received it, I only got the chicken nuggets that I ordered. I called the dash driver and he said he waited 10 minutes and no one told him if it was ready or not. I called the Burger King and the manager named “Lisa” told me that all I can do is pick up the fries or She will refund me for the fries that is missing from my order but I still have to go and pick it up from the Burger King, but that defeats the purpose of ordering the food in the first place. To make matters worse, the total I spent on the order was $17.48 and yet nothing was solve.Very bad customer Service!!
Horrible restaurant and rude staff! First off, the girl at the drive-thru was rude, severely impatient, and didnt give me a receipt! Then, they shoved all my food into one bag so I thought I had all my sandwiches. Got home to find one sandwich was missing, 2 whoppers with cheese when I ordered an impossible whopper, whopper with cheese, and a bacon & cheese whopper with no bun. The cheese sticks were horrible and overcooked to the point that the cheese leaked out of the stick all over the baggy. Worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time!
I get my food specifically near the tail end of their day, around 11 p.m. to midnight. I always ask for the food fresh, and they always deliver. Their fish sandwich is absolutely phenomenal, definitely beats the filet o fish at McDonalds. Their burgers are also just plain better than McDonalds as well. The only thing that would make this location better is if it was 24 hours.
Couldnt give them a zero, one was the lowest available. franchisee needs to hire more help or close. like the last poster, we waited 20 minutes plus in the drive through. finally backed up to window and knocked on it with no answer. left car at window and went inside.couldnt get any of the four employees to wait on me for 5 more minutes. asked were my food was and was told they were short handed. gave me an incomplete cold bag of food that wasnt fit to eat. they kept my receipt and my money. Corporate will here today, and Ill fight for a refund and some additional compensation I they want me to eat at any Burger King again.bunch of bullhockey.
Im speaking out about this establishment because they wronged me by giving me a burger that had a bite out of it, & today they refuse to give my brother Robert a receipt that reflected his order......I think they r upcharging because of the pandemic mayb because of sales. The Manager was so mean, rude & utterly disrespectful when he asked for his $ back she thru his change @ him. The customer behind him in the drive thru recorded some of the incident. Lady on drive-through today was very rude. Didn’t listen to my order, gave my order to me wrong, and completely dismissed me and tried to tell me what I ordered. Then when I came inside to place another order because she got my first order wrong she started talking about me and insulting me to other customers on the Drive-through window. But when I started standing up for myself, she stayed directly behind the wall. The other employees were very nice but she was rude and very insulting. She is really lucky that my children were in the car.
Stopped by to eat a burger inside only to go to the door and have it locked at 630PM. Walked around in the snow to the other door to have an employee stick her head out and say the dining room was closed as they didnt have any cashiers? WTH? Whos cashiering for the drive through that was open? Terrible management if thats the case. Seems the way it used to be run before the remodeling is coming back...not that I eat there too often as they used to mess up even the simplest orders before but I give them a chance once in a while.
Wow....where to begin....Well very disappointed. Been coming here for nearly 12yrs.. And have never had such a bad experience like we had today. All employees including the shift manager present literally acted as if they where completely lost and inexperienced. The gentleman making the burgers should not be allowed to express his unhappiness in front of the customers the way he did that day.. If you dont like working then go home. The manager didnt seem to care either how poorly the customers service was being handled. OH WELL... another restaurant scratched off my list to ever go back to.
Very good food, service was awesome, and the employees were very friendly. The only problem was no clean tables in the dining room. We looked for a clean one, and couldnt find one. I had to wipe our table with napkins. They were not very busy at the time, and the employees did a lot of horsing around and playing behind the counter.
I never expect much from a Burger King, in fact I dont think many do. But this particular experience had me very disappointed. Almost all drinks were gone from coke freestyle machine, food sat for 5 minutes under warming light before anyone thought to check if it was mine, food took over 10 minutes just to receive. Seems like not enough staff, and the restaurant wasnt super busy. Annoyed.
If I could, I would rate this less then a star. I come in tonight thru the drive thru and first they get my order wronge and when the the staff brings it in not knowing my daughters mom went inside to get something else. The manger starts being obnoxiously disrespectful. Cursing and telling the staff to just throw my stuff in a container that we didnt order it with no bun and I said it clearly because I cant eat any breads cause my diet. This isnt the first time i have been disrespected by management here and obviously something has to be done cause this woman is running Burger King in the ground.
Just saying for those who come here to rate our place. We have doors locked after 8 because we only have one person on front cashier who needs to clean up the dining area before they get off at 9. Therefore we lock the doors so that we dont have to stop cleaning and have to stay later than we have to. We close fully with drive thru at 12. I have worked here for a month and have seen so many rude customers way more than portillos had when i worked there. We all try our best especially when we are low staffed. Thank you for your thoughts and we will try our best to mske your experience good.
Ive been to this location a couple of times now for drive thru. My orders have been correct and the food has been hot and fresh. My only complaint if you even want to call it that, is that the fries have been a little too well done for my personal taste, but not so overcooked they were inedible.
I searched Burger King on my phone and the closest one was joliet, by the mall and it said they opened at 7. This was just a few mins before 7. When I got to the road beside bk it was 7 am and I saw a worker unlock the door and then the lights came on. I went to the drive thru and waited 5-6 mins before yelling hello into the speaker. Someone came on in a rude voice saying his register wasn’t working and to pull around to the window. I got the to the window and another worker leaned out and said I’m sorry we aren’t open yet. So I replied. Well what time do you open then?? And she said maybe 730 because we are cooking the food now. Wth people?! This is completely unprofessional and when Burger King says it opens at 7, people should be there well before and ready. Zero stars!
Really sick of this Burger King. They always mess up the order. And when I try to call, they never answer the phone. This time the girl was rude. I ordered chicken nuggets for my daughter, and they normally ask you for sauce, she did not. I ordered Chicken fries for my mom, same thing. I even told her I wanted BBQ sauce, and she did not give it to us. We ordered 2 drinks with no ice. She didnt give us the drinks. After she gave us the food, Inasked her for the drinks and she said, let me check the receipt cuz you didnt order drinks... She did, and she gave them to me and they had Ice. When I gave them back she got even more attitude with me. There is always a problem here. I thought after the remodel, it would get better. No, it got worse. Thats okay, this is my opportunity to get my daughter and I to eat healthier.
Good food love their breakfast but I get off work at 6am and they open at 6am. So when I get there at 6:15 and the establishment is still closed its not a good sign. Workers are not punctual and this has happened multiple timesEdit: 9/1/18 at 8pm they did not take card. What esatblishment restarts their systems that early? As much as I love this food the customer service is awful.
One car ahead of me at drivethru and maybe 4-5 cars in parking lot. I pull up say I want 2 whoppers and before I can tell them how I want them and a large onion ring the guy says $6.98 pull around please. I said wait a minute slow down you didn’t let me complete my order. Well then this lady with a attitude tells me we are not rushing you but we are very busy. What there is only one car ahead of me but I kept quiet. The guy comes back and let’s me complete my order. Get to window and the lady with the attitude is there snatch’s debit card out of my hand complete’s the transaction gives me my card back no receipt and literally tosses the bag of food at me. If I hadn’t of grabbed it quickly it would of been on the ground. Look in bag onion rings are upside down and no napkins. I just pulled away biting my lip not to tell her off. I have had bad service there before but not this bad. The people at the Burger King on Houlbolt Road are much much nicer and very friendly this place needs lessons from them.
Food is great but you can NEVER find a clean table. They work their staff, and cant spare a person to consistently wipe off and dissenfect tables. Make sure you bring your own dissenfectent wipes if you go there, especially for the edges and sides of the table you sit at. Check your seat before you sit down as well. People are slobs.
Ridiculous...The dinning room was dirty and the entire floor was a grease slick. A husband and wife complained about the floor as they left ,manager came out and said we will get a bucket of water and get it moped and mocked them after they left . We left 15 mins after and they had not came out yet to mop. Not sure how a bucket of water is going to help with the amount of grease that was on the floor. Very bad experience....
This location is very unprofessional, and seem to have an issue when a customer makes a simply mistake by ordering a item wrong and asking for a receipt . The employees at the window seem not to have enough training for the drive - thru or working the cash register ( I did both so I know this couldve been handle differently)This location has refused to make a chicken sandwich that was accidentally order wrong when the customer asked for a receipt the manager act like she could not provide customer with a printed receipt like requested - I feel like this could have been done in a different way - if customers accidentally order the wrong item ( due to them not eating there often) or if a customer is requesting a copy of the receipt - they should be given one without a issue.
This place is utterly disgusting. The cashier was talking about their manager and staff not being there anymore, I can see why. The atmosphere is bland and rundown. If you arent on a time crunch but really crave some Burger King, go to either Bolingbrook location. Much cleaner there and better service.
Worst service ever ! Not a complainer, but every time and this is the last time for me for sure I’ve been there the food is either cold or stale. Went to this Burger KING at 6:30pm and the doors were locked and there were people inside eating. When I went to drive thru and asked why the door was locked and she told me they were short staffed. I didnt appreciate that when there were people inside and I wasnt allowed to enter. Not to mention they screwed my order up and didnt give me my onion rings and my large fries were half full and I was very upset when I got home. FIX YOUR PROBLEMS
The food was everything I expect from a BK. It seems like they were very short staffed and as someone that has worked in restaurants, I recognized it and foresaw that my food would take a while longer than usual. But hey, it was made fresh and piping hot. Reading the reviews, I immediately noticed that the customers are ungrateful and likely not polite. The lady that took my order was out of breath, but once I came to the window, smiled and treated her like a human being, she was perfectly kind and pleasant in return. I would say that the problem with this BK is the customers. Its in a mall, in Joliet, need I say more? I will definitely be coming to this location more often. I cant say the same for other BKs in Joliet. I usually visit the one in New Lenox.
Im a driver in the greater Chicago land area. I always eat on the run. So I can say with confidence, Burger King stores are not stock with essential products. This should be a concern for every stockholder believing in company, growth potential. Theyre consistently understock. At first I thought it was a management issue, but it happens to frequently. Ive been to Burger Kings where they are completely out of meat at lunch time. Decaf coffee is not served or out of stock, at many store. Washrooms are filthy, most stores, do not have soap and paper towels.
Upon walking in I was literally ignored for about a full minute.. I know it doesnt sound long but there were no other customers at the counter at the time.. The young man who is making sandwiches was leaning with his back to his workstation looking directly at me without ever acknowledging me.. Finally someone came to the counter to take my order.. He asked what I wanted and I handed him a coupon I was using.. He mumbled under his breath and I thought he was thinking out loud.. He then looked up at me and asked so?? I asked so what and he said will there be anything else?? I explained to him that I was sorry that I did not hear him.. I completed my order and step to the side to get my drink.. I pushed the button for the drink I wanted and it was out.. I asked the employee that took my order if he could get me the drink I wanted and he said there was somebody working on the machine behind the counter.. I asked him then will he replace the drink that was out that I wanted and he told me that he just got done telling me that theres somebody working on it.. I very much confused asked so he is working on both of them.. He said yes.. I told him I thought you said he was working on the one behind the counter?? He said yes.. I then asked whats wrong with the one on my side of the counter and how could he be working on both of them at the same time.. He then told me I would need to pick something else.. Surprised by his behavior I proceeded to do so.. He then walked back into the kitchen area as customers started to line up at the register.. After taking one or two more orders he turned to bag what I had ordered.. I told him that I wanted my order for dining in not carry out.. He then put a tray on the counter picked up my bag and set it right in the middle of the try with an attitude that I just could not believe.. I at that point figured I had seen enough and asked for my money back.. He then became very irate and accused me of wanting my money back because he could not provide me with the drink that I wanted.. I told him it wasnt just the drink it was the entire experience not to mention his attitude.. He then told me he had been there since 3 a.m. and really didnt care anymore.. I explained him being there since 3 a.m. had nothing to do with me and I did not expect him to take it out on me.. I got my money back and left.. I asked for his name which he had no problem giving me again exclaiming how little he cared.. I told him it was obvious as I walked out.. I then went to the door on either side of the restaurant for a phone number or name of franchise owner and it wasnt posted on either door.. No wonder the employees think its okay to behave the way they do..
Lobby doors locked and phone was off the hook. Stopped by the drive thru window the lady said the doors were open, told her they was locked and asked if is she was going to open them. She rolled eyes and went inside. Went back to lobby door and no one unlocked the doors. When I tried to flag people inside they scurried to the back like cockroaches that was caught in the light.
Have been going to this bk for quite some time (even before the remodel) and have always run into some sort of issue whether it be from employees or management. Recently within the past 2 months the new manager Tayler has been super helpful with fixing minor issues with food or service from her employees. Seems like this place is finally starting to turn around! Thanks Tayler for being so polite and calm on my way to work in the morning as well as on my lunch break.. alot of my co workers from Best Buy now choose to go here instead of Taco Bell or Wendys. I hope this comment gets into the right hands so she can be thanked. Keep up the hard work guys!!!! Happy New Year!
No stars if i could, stay away from this liars, drive thru, asked for two Whoopers no cheese, got double cheese on each(asking at the window whats extra $0.60 each charge for?, she said two whoppers for $3). Then she gave me Zesty sauce for Nuggets for my 3 y/o son!!! (I asked for bbq.) Stay away from this place.
Um, okay. Asked for a double hamburger with only mustard and onion. I think I saw something yellowish on the bun and there was one lonely, old ring of onion on the burger. They pulled me forward to wait on my order yet when they gave it to me the onion rings were soft and cold :(
Forgot to give some of the order, ppl who ordered after me received food before me, door dash driver was impatiently waiting, the floors were super sticky, & 1 lady was the only 1 working it seemed, other employees were in another world. Kinda ruined the BK experience.

The black lady & wht lady were very rude, they didnt give me the receipt no ketchup,no straws. Last time they did not put the cap lid on the pop and they spilled all over me & my leather seat as she pass it to me. I never going back to this place again.
I had to rate it at least one star in order to give this survey the worst Burger King I ever been is on Cass Street in Joliet the food was lousy cold very bad service dont go in the Drive-Thru because your order will definitely be wrong and they have you pull up and you have to wait
If I could give zero stars stars I would. This place should not be here! It’s a JOKE! They’re awful!! It’s disgusting! Asked us to leave they’re not taking orders at 9:55pm yet many others were inside. Wow. I’ll report to Home office. And hopefully they hire some decent people.
Dont waste your time going to this location. The staff is incompetent, rude, and flat out lies. They dont check the orders when they go out, youll get less than half of what you order. They dont hand out receipts, then tell you youre SOL if you dont have a receipt. If you try calling, every person that answers the phone is the manager, theyll give you attitude when you ask them to fix their mistakes, and do nothing to remedy the situation.
It seems like almost every time I go here their system is down. I dont know what kind of antiquated system theyre working with but its happened at least twice in the last couple months alone, and probably give times since I moved here a year ago. They need to upgrade badly.

2022-03-23Had a really poor experience in the drive through tonight. When I pulled up to the speaker, I was told to pull up to the window. The woman working there, who I could was training someone, asked why we pulled up without ordering… because you told us to. She then proceeded to the trainee “normally you could tell people off but it’s fine this time. I’ll just take the order” The passive aggressive comments was really unnecessary and surprising from someone who is training new staff. Would not recommend, there are different fast food places with better staff 🤷♀️

2022-03-18I see a lot of good reviews for this place. I disagree with them all after the experience I had today. I am not concerned about the waiting time which it was an extended waiting time. What concerned me is the fact that my burger looked like it was made yesterday. It was not hot, it did not look fresh, and it tasted like they made it yesterday. I will no longer be visiting this location.

The person at the window was also training a new employee, I hope they have better customer service than their trainer.

2022-03-01There can be two cars and youll still be in the drive thru 10 minutes. This location location is a disaster half the times i been here they didnt have dr. Pepper its not uncommon to have messy food assembly and missing items. They try to clear out the POS as soon as possible so their drove thru timer doesnt rise up. I watched the manager do this through the drive through then come to the window and have no idea what i ordered cause she cleared it out.This isnt today mind you but its a constant trend here and my last review got removed so heres a new one warning you people what your in for. This location has been a disaster for the 8 years i lived in this town. Needs to shut down n just become something else. If you need a good bigger king drive south on larkin till you reach the white castle and kfc. That burger king does things well and ive never had a wrong order outta there. Done with this location though last time i went there was the final straw.

2021-12-09We were out Christmas Shopping and decided to stop and grab a couple Whopper meals on the way home. They were absolutely the worst Whoppers I’ve ever had in my life… and Whoppers are my favorite burgers!! The buns were stale, burgers like shoe leather, hardly no lettuce and one (1) tiny pickle! And the girl at the drive up had a bad attitude! What a disappointment! Next time I’ll go to Wendy’s or McD’s!
