Be smarter then I was when buying your dress. If the neckline is NOT exactly what you want dont buy it. The sales women told me any dress can be altered to do anything and that all the alterations would be in the standard package. Both statements where not true. Ask to speak to the steamstress before you buy the dress if you are looking to do big alterations. When I called to discuss my concerns with them about what they originally told me. I didnt get an apology just a congrats on your wedding and if you decide you want to do your alterations with us please call us back. I will be taking my dress else where. I would never bought this dress if I knew these alterations couldnt be done.
I went here with my sister yesterday and had the experience of a lifetime. I have never left a review in my life for anything but this was well worth taking the time to do So. Kennedy was our sidekick for the day who gave us the experience of our dreams and was So patient on top of it. The entire shop was absolutely gorgeous. Pictures online do not give this place justice I mean this. On top of it their selection of dresses is insane with how many options that they have it is literally every girls dream… I will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone. Sidenote, we ordered my dress At the appointment and I am probably the most pickiest woman alive. It had everything and I could’ve asked for and more. On top of all of that it was so extremely clean and well-kept… Love love love this place!!!!
I had never been to Bri’Zan before today and I am so glad I decided to start my search for my wedding dress there. Alex was amazing. She was helpful, patient, and answered all of my questions as she helped me and my maid of honor choose our dresses. The quality and variety of dresses also made the experience a lot of fun and I can’t wait for my wedding day!
I went into dress shopping not knowing what type of dress I wanted. Literally no clue! But thank god for Mia! She gave me a variety of different styles to try on in order to find out what I truly wanted. She was so patient and SO sweet! I didn’t think I’d have that “crying” moment… but thanks to Mia I did! If you are looking to schedule an appointment here, I suggest you request Mia! You will find your dream dress!
Overall my experience getting my dress here was just okay. I did it in 2020. I had a two hour appointment and felt enormously pressured to get my dress. It did end up being a good pick. They have a great variety here. My biggest issue is the fact that I spent just under $600 for my dress to fit perfectly and it absolutely did not. The chest portion was far too loose, I pointed it out and they insisted when I tie the little buttons in the back it will make up for that. It made no difference. It looks obvious in the pictures my dress didn’t fit. I wish I would have pushed harder on this.
Mia at BriZan was wonderful to work with. I was shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress and she was able to help me narrow down styles that looked good. Mia stayed with is the entire time, she was attentive and knowledgeable of current styles.I recommend anyone who is shopping for a wedding, bridesmaids, or mothers dresses to stop here. First class quality and service!!!
While I did not make a purchase yet since this was my first dress shopping experience, Bri’Zan was incredible! The salon was beautiful with an incredible selection of designers and different dress styles. My consultant, Kennedy was absolutely fantastic and Her attention to detail was great, she pulled so many things that I liked and made me feel amazing!
My review is long over due, but I had such a great experience when shopping for my dress. Alice did such a great job helping me say yes to the dress! All the dresses were so beautiful! I am very indecisive but Alice made it easy for me. She was so helpful with choosing the right dresses to fit me. Even with me being plus size I was able to find something so beautiful In my size range. I cannot thank Alice enough for making time for me to come back a second time the same day to try dresses on this time with my mom there and having her be part of the special moment. (Mom got pulled into work last min she wasn’t at the earlier appt) So thank you Alice so much for helping me!! I highly recommend all brides to be to visit Bri’Zan to find your dream dress here the dresses were so beautiful!
Had a wonderful wedding dress shopping experience here! I found my perfect dress on my first visit, and the alterations turned out great. Everyone there was lovely to work with. I have my dress with time to spare before my ceremony.
My experience with Mia was amazing. I included specific dresses I wanted to try on in the form I submitted before my appointment. She grabbed them all for me plus she suggested another I might like based on the style of the others. It was the one she suggested that I said yes to! She was knowledgeable and gave suggestions on how I could change the dress in areas I might want to. Very friendly, helpful, and I didn’t feel pressured to buy unless I was sure it was the one. I had appointments at three other bridal stores before Bri’zan and Bri’zan had the best selection (to my taste) and the best experience as well. Thank you Mia!
Kennedy was so sweet and listened to exactly the style/vibe I was going for. Not only did she pick out the dress I said yes to but we did it in an HOUR. She was so helpful and made me feel super comfortable as this was my first time looking for a wedding dress. I highly recommend shopping here for your wedding!
I saw that Brizan Couture had the Disney fairytale wedding dress line and I actually cancelled another bridal appointment that I had just to go to Brizan Couture; I am so glad I did. This bridal shop had a huge selection to choose from. Whatever it is you are looking for, Brizan Couture will likely have it! This was my first time wedding dress shopping and the staff did a great job in making me feel welcome. Alex was absolutely amazing to work with! I told her what I was looking for and hit the nail right on the head with the dresses she picked out for me to try. I ended up saying yes to my dress! I will definitely be looking to comeback to shop for my bridesmaids, flower girls, my mother and the mother of the groom!
Following a negative experience with another retailer I came to BriZan with low expectations. It was a great choice. They have been nothing but kind, helpful, supportive and creative in their solutions to making my mother of the bride dress the best it can be for me. I am very appreciative.
We had to postpone our wedding due to my fiancee being hospitalized with a life threatening illness. We are now being charged for an extra alteration, doubling what we have left to pay for her dress. No other vendor has had any issue trying to accommodate us for this unforseen event. Use them at your own risk.Replying to the reply. She didnt have a fitting in April. She missed it due to her being in the hospital, but we were still changed for it. Thats the issue.And today, we had an appointment to pick up 4 dresses. No effort was made before we arrived to verify that we could pick up them all since some were in others names. We were allowed to pay all the dresses off only then to be told we couldnt take them. The really infuriating part was that they in fact had me listed as able to pick up the dress, but no one bothered to look that up before giving me and my fiancee the run around.Terrible customer service.
I absolutely adore this place and it will remain a major piece to the fantastic memories of my July wedding. Ana and all the staff were/are so helpful and attentive throughout the entire gown selection process. With the pandemic encapsulating my entire engagement and thus, gown selection experience, it was difficult to have friends and family with me for that special moment. The staff here stepped into that role so wonderfully for me. The gowns are made to order so you know you’re getting something truly special and often one of a kind, as mine is. I highly recommend for a glorious wedding gown and lifetime experience!
I had a terrible experience here and warn you to listen to the reviewers if you are a bride. It started out fine. I found and picked out the perfect two wedding dresses by Allure in order to combine the top of one dress with the bottom of another. Upon purchasing two gowns and additional lace (~$6000), I was told that the alterations cost would be included in the purchase price. One year later, I came in for alterations and was presented with three packages: $600, $900, and a third, more expensive tier (can’t recall, but not over ~ $1500). I was told that the alterations had not, in fact, been included. I was frustrated, but figured that because the first package included everything I needed done, I would still be within budget if I paid $600-$900 for the cost of alterations. I had the dress hemmed, tucked in at the waist (they ordered a gown four sizes too large, I think on purpose), and had a lace appliqué sewn across an inlaid mesh along the spine. The lace appliqué was sewn incorrectly and I had to come back for corrections. After two appointments, I was told that my final alterations cost was slightly over $2000! I couldn’t believe it, and asked for a justification since the package pricing was not over $900 or so. I was then told that “pricing was subject to change” (!!) and that I had no choice but to pay what they asked. The day of my wedding, the underskirt ripped from the bodice because of the shoddy construction, and I had to have it repaired. I’d recommend you stay FAR, FAR away from this den of thieves.
I was shopping for a wedding dress and this place was awesome! The dress selection was way above average. Mia was so patient and helped me find the dress of my dreams! The one I picked was actually one that she found for me. I had a wonderful experience.
I came to Bri’ Zan as a last ditch effort to find a dress after trying on 50+ dresses at other stores. Kennedy was my consultant and picked the most gorgeous dresses that fit my style and body type! She was Amazing and totally determined to find me a dress! I’m so happy I was able to say yes to the dress because of her!

I came to BriZan after having a horrible experience at Wolsfelts. My pervious consultation at Wolsfelts didnt let me pick out any dresses myself, was rude to my family, and made me feel uncomfortable and hesitant to share my opinion. When I came to Bri’Zan, I initially came into the store with one friend and had Lupe as my consultant. She was kind and really took my opinion into account as she helped me find other dresses to try. I picked some out and was very happy with the selection. I had not intended to buy and came back a second time where I had Ana as my consultant. Ana was so wonderful. She was kind and respectful, listened to all of my concerns but respected my time, and ultimately picked a dress off the rack I would have never chosen for myself but fell in love with. I cannot say enough good things about Ana, Lupe, and all the staff at BriZan couture. Ana had many other responsibilities during my appointment but every time she respectfully stepped away, the other girls took over with eagerness and were super nice. I am so glad I came into BriZan. From the initial look of the store and how absolutely beautiful it is, to the the ladies who run the store and are amazingly good at what they do, I had a great experience. I am forever grateful for Ana for helping me find the dress of my dreams and Im so happy I got the pleasure to meet and work with her. This experience was night and day compared Wolfsfelts. I am so pleased and cannot wait to wear the dress on my special day!!!!
Tried a couple of other places for mother of the bride dresses.. not much luck. Came into Bri’zan with low expectations. Kennedy was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My experience at BriZan was INCREDIBLE! I worked with Kennedy and she was AMAZING! The abolsute best!! I have never felt so comfortable in my own body before than I did while we were trying on wedding dresses! BriZan was my 1st dress shop and 1st time even looking at dresses and WOW, She made my experience what it was! I SAID YES TO THE DRESS MY 1ST NIGHT! I couldnt even believe it! I am the most indecisive person in the world and Kennedy just knew what I needed! She pulled things off the racks I would have NEVER thought I wanted to try on and went completely opposite of what I thought I was looking for after trying a few on and not really loving the styles. I was a little worried about going dress shopping since I am a queer person and plus-sized, so it was hugely important for me to find somewhere I would feel comfortable. BriZan was definitely that place. Everyone I talked to was so nice, especially Alice. She got my style right away and helped me find the perfect dress.

As soon as you walk into the store, the environment and dresses take your breath away. All the dresses are SO beautiful; the aesthetic and decorations make you feel like you’re in a fairytale and/or royalty. They are SO accommodating. When I found my dress, I didn’t buy it right away because I wanted to sleep on my decision. I legit came back the next day and it was a Saturday, they were completely booked, but super accommodating to have me try on the dress again before making my final decision and down payment. All the workers are super nice, personable and super accommodating. This business is organized, personable and reputable. They even referred me to my makeup and hair vendor. Definitely go/shop here for your wedding dresses! 10/10 would recommend!
I just left here in search of a dress to stand up in a wedding and I can not say enough wonderful things about the shop but especially Kennedy. She really knows her stuff and was so sweet and amazing to work with! She knew exactly what dress for my body type and picked dresses I would have never imagined that I would love and I did! Came at 3:30 on Sunday 4/24 and the 2 girls working there told us they are closed because one of them had to pick up her brother she said that’s a ( family emergency) we traveled so far to come buy 3 dresses knowing that they close at 4.. I feel sorry for the owner of this place. Will shop somewhere else.. ps only one girls said something and the other girl drove away quickly so she wouldn’t talk to us.. update; the respond below from the owner is pretty much saying that I I’m a liar and a made that up . That’s not how you fix this buddy.
I had the best experience at Bri’Zan, I have been having a hard time figuring out what type of wedding dress I want or what style I even liked. But after coming here Alex helped me out a lot,she was excellent and so patient. She really took the time to get to know what I liked and didn’t like. We figured out what style dresses I liked and was able to find my dream dress. Mia assisted as well and she was just as fantastic. I am beyond happy with my dress and just so amazed at how great these ladies were at helping me finally find a dress. I highly recommend Bri’Zan!
I bought my dress from here and had a wonderful experience with Alice. I went to purchase a veil this last weekend and felt completely at ease all thanks to my consultant Kennedy. She was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. I left happy and loving the veil I chose!
My experience at BriZan was such a delight, especially since I was lucky enough to be paired with Alice. She listened to what I wanted, sorted through my inspiration photos and came back with a selection of dresses that made my heart skip a beat. I finally found what I was looking for because of her and this wonderful stores unique selections. I purchased my wedding gown here a while ago, and came in recently for an accessory appointment. A big thanks to Mia for helping me find the perfect veil to go with my dress! She also helped my mom with mother of the bride dresses, and my mom said it was the best dress shopping experience she has had yet. Mia was so patient and helpful.
After a long journey to find the perfect mother of the bride dress and an indecisive group, Kennedy really brought her A game! We had such a blast working with her and found the perfect fit for the day. Initially I was so pleased with my experience at BriZan Couture. When shopping for my wedding gown, the staff was super helpful in finding the perfect dress and were very friendly. The dress was gorgeous!Alterations were a different story. My first fitting was 3 months prior to the wedding. The seamstress was not friendly at all, and at one point stabbed me with one of the pins. I told her that the pin was cutting into me, so she adjusted it. Shortly after she adjusted it, the pin fell off, so I mentioned this to her. She told me yeah, yeah I know ive got it. She didnt fix the pin, but I figured she knew what she was doing. For my next fitting three weeks before the wedding, there were SEVERAL issues, including the area where the pin had fallen out (which was loose). The bottom of the dress was also uneven (how that happened still baffles me) and there were dirt marks on the dress. The bustle was also HIDEOUS and had these obnoxious hooks on the satin part of the dress. Total eye sore. All of this would have been fine, if it had been corrected by the next fitting. I went back the following week, and the dress was now too short on one side (still uneven). They said they needed several hours to fix this. At this point I was pretty annoyed considering I live in the city and was driving to Naperville each time to get this done. My mom also was coming in from Madison WI for each alteration. Eventually everything got fixed, but the staff was not apologetic considering all of the inconvenience and stress this was causing me.Finally, the pricing of alterations was increased by quite a bit from what they had originally told me when buying the dress. They added an extra $200 to the original price and didnt explain what it was for. They told me they had emailed me about a price increase. I never received any emails from them. After telling them I was upset about the price increase considering all of the hassle I had been through, they did knock off the extra $200, but honestly they should have taken off even more considering that that extra $200 was nonsense anyways. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.
What a lovely experience! From the first appointment to look at dresses to my final alterations appointment, my family and I have truly appreciated Brizan’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness. I have had to reschedule my wedding date two times because of the pandemic, and Brizan was so accommodating with these changes. Ana was a sweetheart with making sure my dress fit me well and that I was as happy as I could be. I certainly recommend Brizan for your wedding dress search!
Alex was my consultant and she went above and beyond and made the process so smooth. She gave great guidance to help me determine what I wanted in a dress and helped me narrow things down. She made me feel comfortable and really helped me figure out what each dress would be like. She added a lot of little touches throughout the appointment. Definitely recommend shopping here!
I could not be more disappointed in the product and service I received at BriZan. There are so many things I could go on about but here are the worst parts of my experience-- Unprofessional staff: Told my daughter that she needed to talk me off the ledge when I was unhappy with the alterations. Waited 45 minutes while staff were chatting about a trip they were on.- Dress quality: The dress fell apart, before even walking down the aisle. The hems were coming lose, the lace was coming off, strings were hanging at the bottom in which I kept tripping over them.- Alteration issues: First fitting we discussed the fixes and the added things needed (cover up on chest, shortened, etc). When I came in for first fitting, these were not done. The staff went on to say that was not in the notes.- Price: I bought a $600 dress, and was told alterations would be 150-250. To my surprise, I went to pay afterward and they told me they were $300. They said because they had to fix the first alterations (even though they were the ones who didnt write down the correct needs).I even sent an email to the owner about all my concerns and never received an email back. It was a lot of time and money spent for a very disappointing experience. I would never go there for a dress again and I would not recommend this store to anyone.
I had such a wonderful experience here! My consultant was Alice, and she was friendly, personable, and so easy to work with. She completely understood my taste, and what I was going for. I ended up saying yes to the dress at my first appointment, and I found my dream dress, within budget! And did I mention the dress I picked was one I missed on the rack? Alice really knew what she was doing and made the experience so memorable and easy. I highly recommend Brizan.
I have been to 4 different dress stores and this place blew all the rest out of the water. I worked with Kim who was absolutely wonderful! Super attentive and helpful. She understood my vision and was able to show me a ton of dresses that were in my price range and stunning! I was also shocked at the value of these dresses. I must have tried on 10 different dresses and would’ve been happy to walk down the aisle in any of them! Can’t recommend this place enough!Update: I got my alterations done here and I am so excited to get married in this dress. I bought my dress in 2019 and had to delay due to the pandemic, but this dress still takes my breath away. This place has an amazing selection of dresses and top notch service. The people who helped me we so friendly and helpful! They took so much time making sure my mom understood the bustle and everything was perfect. So happy I went with Bri’zan!
I had a great experience as mother if the bride at Bri ‘Zan. Found a beautiful dress on my first visit. Brought my daughter back to approve. Covid delayed shipping but it still arrived by the original wedding date. Wedding was postponed a year and had my first fitting this Spring. Removed the sleeves and transferred some lace. The dress is perfect. Friendly sales people. Great alterations. It should be your first visit when looking forward a MOB dress.
Lovely boutique with exceptional service… I went there for Mother of the Groom dress…The selection and quality of dresses was incredible… They were so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive… Anna B and Kennedy made me feel so comfortable and I was treated like Royalty… I felt they were very honest and just didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear… I never felt rushed by them either… I purchased my dress and I’m excited for the next phase…I would highly recommend this boutique hands down…

BriZan makes wedding dress dreams come true! This was our second time being a customer and once again, the dress made my daughter feel beautiful.The staff there has a knack of listening to what you are saying and reading what you are thinking to find the perfect match! When youve narrowed it down to the last one, the reveal is truly magical.We added straps to give the gown a more customized feel and they found the perfect veil to compliment her gown. Alterations were impeccable!Thank you BriZan for giving my daughter exactly what she didnt know she was looking for! She was beaming on her wedding day.
1. Shop around before you purchase a dress! Don’t purchase from this store if it’s the first place you shop. There is no personalization to your visit like others offer. This is supposed to be an amazing experience in your wedding process and in mine it was horrible. They are not willing to work with you in any sense. The reason they have such positive reviews is because they ask you on the spot to leave a positive review in front of them for a $25 discount towards your dress.2. They say they want to do anything to make you happy and choose the right gown for your big day but it really just comes down to them wanting a sale from you. I felt like a chore to them each visit and I completely regret purchasing from this store I really wish I would have shopped around.3. They don’t offer any discount if you buy add-ons such as hair pieces, etc. other stores do.4. They don’t offer any discount if you use them for alterations (alterations are package pricing and base price is around $700) their pricing is outrageous and I had to have them fix many obvious details.5. They don’t offer discounts if you buy more than 1 dress, i.e. flower girl, bridesmaids, mother’s dress, etc.6. The staff is harsh and really just not warm or genuine overall. They whisper behind guests backs.
What a wonderful experience and I found my dream dress!!! Ana was AMAZING. She has a kind and soft personality that made me feel comfortable trying on different dresses and made me feel more confident in them! When I figured out my top 3 dresses, she was able to put them in an order for me to try on again that did the necessary comparisons and helped me land on THE dress. She curated the whole bridal moment that put tears in all of our eyes, but stepped back so I had that special moment with my mom, mother in law, and maid of honor. I cant recommend Ana enough! She was simply amazing. For BriZan Couture in general, they had a wide variety of beautiful gowns and each gown was a winner in my eyes. Such high quality beauty.Thanks so much! This was the third bridal store I went to. I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on here! I worked with Kim and she was fantastic! She spent quality time with me making sure she understood my vision of my dream dress. Kim was patient and helpful when discussing alterations that could be made to each dress to make it my own. The dressing room was open, private, and had great lighting! I would definitely recommend BriZan and Kim for anyone looking for a wedding dress!
I had the best experience working with Kennedy! I was so stressed out over selecting a dress as the matron of honor for my girlfriends wedding. She was amazing!!! She was so professional, knowledgable and friendly! She totally put me in a much better state of mind and she found the perfect dress for me! I could not be more happy and satisfied. I highly recommend Bri zan to get your dress for any occasion. All of the sales professionals were very nice, just loved Kennedy so much!
I tried emailing with no luck. I wanted to share how initially pleased I was with the experience as well as the final fitting of my gown!I also wanted to share some feedback around giving more clarity to cost. I understood my alterations to include straps, a bustle and professional steaming at $550. I understand push cups are more but I was not made aware of that only the options to add them.I was a bit shocked with the price increase ($750) and lack of clarity on cost. Unfortunately, I was so caught up in excitement I didn’t recognize the significant difference in what I was expecting. I wish somebody would have addressed that without me having to come off of my wedding high to catch it.Additionally, the cups did not fit and were too large so there was extra space in my dress. One of the straps was also broken about halfway into the evening.I was hoping you could share details on why this was $200 more than what I was originally expecting? I understand all sales are final and I hope this feedback can be taken into consideration.
Amazing !!I went in to try on dresses for the first time and met with Louise. She was amazing from start to finish. She made me feel so comfortable and helped me with everything that I needed. She made me feel confident with my body with all the compliments and comments. She really cared about what dress looked good with my figure and really explained the detailing. She also went into detail about the pricing and stuck to my budget!! Thank you Bri’Zan Couture for making my experience a once in a lifetime!
I went in to find a dress for my wedding and was not actually looking forward to dress shopping. I let my mom book the appointment and do all the leg work. I was completely blown away with how much fun I had and how amazing it was to work with Mary Ann. Everyone at BriZan was so kind and supportive in this whole process. Mary Ann and I pulled an initial 8 dresses to try on and she went back one time after that because she had something in mind. She came back with my dress! If you are going to BriZan, work with Mary Ann!!!! She is amazing at what she does.
I had my appointment on 1/15/21 and it was great! I really enjoyed how calm and supportive everyone was and how accommodating my stylist Ana was with the wide variety of dresses I was willing to try on. Ana was truly kind and listened to all of the concerns I had with the dresses I was just not meshing with. I ended up buying a dress that I completely picked as a fun but not me dress to shake things up and I fell in love with it! There were a wide variety of dresses from amazing designers. The only designer I wish would have been there was the Watters collections, but the Amare dress I chose more than made up for that! The store itself was very clean and modern and plush. You get a cute little robe to wear in between dress changes and the fitting rooms are spacious enough that you have space to move. I am having my wedding in my home state and BriZan made this one thing the easiest part of my planning. I truly did not expect to choose my dress, let alone purchase on my first venture out! I am so happy I found my dress(es) at Bri’zan! After having found parts of dresses I liked at other bridal salons, Sue was able to make my vision come to life with combining two dresses. She was there every step of the way in person and for my many phone calls during the alteration process. She alleviated all of my concerns and promised that the alterations department would work with me until my vision was perfected. Everyone at the salon was so kind and helpful and I felt fantastic on my wedding day in my one of a kind creation! Thank you a million!
Best experience ever!I came to Bri’Zan after going somewhere that was not helpful. I was already feeling discouraged and worried but then I met Kim. She talked to me about styles, what would compliment me well, and let me try on whatever I wanted. There is an amazing selection of dresses. I saw my dress. Asked to try it on first. And knew immediately it was my dress! Kim then helped my sisters to find bridesmaid dresses and my mom to find a mother of the bride dress. It was the best experience imaginable!
I couldnt be happier with my choice in BriZan Couture for my wedding gown. I found them at a bridal show and was impressed with their professionalism and quality of their gowns. My first appointment was amazing and Lisa was a breath of fresh air compared to other salon attendants I had and actually listened to what I was looking for. She helped me find my dream dress! Once I said yes to the dress, the experience only got better. Every interaction with the salon was positive and when I went into each and every fitting they made me feel like a princess. They were open to doing some customization to the dress I picked to make it exactly what I wanted. The accessories they carry complemented the look I was going for very well. I was really impressed by the customer service that Sue gave me. I needed a dress for a wedding last minute and they did it so quick and fast. The service I was given is definitely very rare and I actually don’t think I ever had this kind of service. The color for the dress was perfect, exactly the kind I needed, and was tailored and done very, very quick. I am highly satisfied. On top of that, my 3 daughters love wearing dresses from them! 5 stars! The best! Thank you so much, Sue!!! Recommend for everyone looking for any type of dresses!! I had my first Bridal dress shopping appointment yesterday and I found the dress of my dreams! It is absolutely beautiful and has everything that I was looking for. They have a great range of selections and the prices are very affordable. Everyone there was also very nice, helpful and understanding of what I was looking for.
For a couture place, the prices arent that bad at all. My first appointment I had with them, they took their time with me. I never felt rushed or unwanted. They let me try on every style of dress make sure what I picked was what I actually wanted. You will never find dresses this beautiful at Davids Bridal, ever. The prices for alterations are a little steep but the seamstress is truly a wizard so its worth it if you ask me! My experience was truly wonderful working with them.
This place is an absolute gem. Sue, the boutique owner, and her team gave me so much attention and love—their warmth and expertise is endless.I asked for a last-minute appointment and they accommodated me (phew!) Lo and behold, I found my bridal gown with a little help from Ana, a total sweetheart.Bri’Zan is the place to be if you’re a bride, bridesmaid, or guest seeking a fabulous experience and gown! I’ll be back. :)
I went here on a whim to find a wedding dress with 5 months to go before my wedding! Initially I was sold a dress from Davids Bridal that was only available in plus sizes and I wear a 6 or 8 the largest! Jennifer, who is an amazing sales rep here was such a lifesaver. What I LOVED about her most of all was her honesty! She didnt pretend to love everything like many other bridal shops I had been to have. And she read my personality and came out with the perfect dresses for me! I chose the dress of my dreams and EVERYONE has asked where I purchased such an amazing dress! It was a mermaid style that even sparkled in the dark, and was super classy! People couldnt stop talking about how amazing I looked and how amazing the dress was! I love this place! The owner Sue is amazing too and will do anything to make sure your dress is perfect! Between her and Jennifer you cant go wrong here!
Overall I had an okay experience at BriZan Couture unfortunately I cant give it 5 stars though.Alice was amazing at helping me pick out my wedding dress, she listened to exactly what I was looking for and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in everything I tried on. But from there service wasnt as great as we had hoped.I purchased my dress 11 months in advance and it took almost 9 months to come in when we were quoted 6 months (which I understand is not the shops fault if the vendor takes longer to make). However a heads up after purchase would have been nice so I wasnt surprised when I called in at the 6 month mark and was told it was going to be another 3 months. Because of this, we had to do alterations in house since it came in less than 2 months before my wedding. Alterations here are very costly so I recommend either shopping earlier than 11 months or check in with the salon to make sure that they quoted you correctly after the order has been placed and make alteration appointments elsewhere at that time.My other issue was that my dressed was not steamed properly before being returned to me. I went in for my final fitting (which turned out amazing) and they took the dress back to steam before we took it home. We opened the bag the morning of the wedding to see that it had barely been steamed or had not been steamed at all. We had to then find a cleaners that would steam it within the hour because I was getting married later that day. Brizan did the right thing and refunded us the cost of taking it somewhere else to have it steamed. But PLEASE brides, make sure that you check your dress ahead of time after they return it to you to make sure that it was done correctly so you dont have to go through what my mother-in-law and sister had to go through to have it fixed before I could figure out what was going on.
After feeling a little defeated after a dress appointment at another bridal salon, walking in here was great. Kim was absolutely incredible to me and my family the entire time we were there and made the whole experience at BriZan even better. It was so hard to pick a dress because I ended up loving more than one! I couldnt be happier that I finally said yes to my perfect dress here. Id recommend BriZan in a heartbeat!!
Alice was amazing to work with and definitely understood the kind of dress I was looking for! The whole staff in general was really nice and the gown selection was excellent! Being able to actually look through the gowns to see what you want to try on is not only really fun, but really helpful to see all your options! Highly recommend!!
I said yes to the dress at BriZan Couture. The women are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to try on dresses with a few friends, space is limited. But they let me take my time to find a style. There was no pressure to buy same day, unlike at some other stores and that make me feel confident about choosing them. On my second trip , which I was alone, I was allowed to try on my top 2 choices and take my time. I was able to say yes, with the help I received, and I am very thankful to have their honesty and help.
My sister came in from out of state to shop for mother of the groom dresses. After a disheartening, rude experience at a shop in Downers Grove, we called BriZan at 5:15 p.m. and asked if we could at least just come look at dresses without an appointment, even though they close at 6:00. They said of course! Anna was so very nice and attentive and helpful. She provided the full service appt. I was hoping for my sister. It was such a relief, as I was very embarrassed about the first shop. She rang up the sale at 6:30 without a single complaint, after figuring out how to rush order the dress. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Anna!
Brizan was the third bridal shop I went to and we saved the best for last. We met with Sue, who was was wonderful to work with. She listened to the style I wanted, carefully worked within my budget, worked quickly to help me in and out of dresses, offered really helpful insight throughout the whole process, and was so patient. It was well worth it and I highly recommend any bride to go!
I had a 1 hour appointment scheduled 2 weeks in advance. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and I was left awkwardly waiting at the front of the store for 15 minutes before anyone greeted me. Eventually, Sue greeted me but she wasnt the person I was scheduled to meet with. She let me look at dresses for about 5 minutes and then rushed me to try some ones she had found. None of the dresses she picked for me matched what I had described. It looked like she picked prom dresses out for me instead of wedding dresses. She wouldnt even tell me the designers of the dresses I liked and said she would put it in the system for when I come back next time?? The whole appointment lasted for about 30 minutes. Disappointing.
I bought my dress from BriZan and it was the best experience I could have asked for! Not only was the buying process very smooth, but so were the alterations. I was nervous because since I was out of town, I waited until a couple weeks before the wedding to have my alterations done. But I had no reason to worry because everything turned out perfectly! There attention to detail was incredible, and they even added to the panel on my dress so you could see the intricate details better in pictures. Overall, what could have been a very stressful process turned out to be pure perfection, And I could not have been happier!
I loved every part of my experience with BriZan. It was my 1st time ever going shopping for wedding gowns and they did not disappoint. Kim was a great consultant and listened to my needs. She was helpful and spot on with getting dresses that described my style and wants. I must say it was weird that she selected the dress I had been looking all over the place to find as one of my fittings. I was in such great disbelief that she found it. I was able to find my wedding gown/dress on the 1st visit to any bridal and BriZan helped make it happen.
I felt like a 5 star review was well deserved since they were able to order and ship my dress to me within 2 weeks.My story goes a bit like this....I bought a very expensive dress from a different boutique, but wasn’t in love with it. The dress itself is amazing, but I just didn’t feel good in it. I decided to get a second dress for the reception that was more me.I walked into the boutique without an appointment and they were very helpful and let me try dresses on. The last one I tried on, I really liked. I say liked because as a plus size woman you don’t exactly fit into the size 8 dresses and therefore can’t really tell what you’ll look like in them....I can’t complain about the sample sizes just because 10 is typically the largest size at most boutiques. You have to learn how to have a good imagination unless you go to a boutique specializing in plus size dresses.So I found the dress I “liked.” I wasn’t able to take pictures or anything (again standard in most boutiques), but I would have loved it if they allowed me to take a picture and then right away delete it. Let’s face it, a picture is worth a thousand words and sometimes these boutiques have clown mirrors making you look thinner than you do. Pictures don’t lie. My request to take a pic was denied (this really depends on the shop), but they should even have a boutique camera they can use to take your picture if it’s such an issue because you’re not going to spend thousands of dollars on a dress that may all just be smoke and mirrors. That’s one recommendation I have for the store.About 2 months went past (getting close to the wedding...very close) and I decided to pull the trigger on that dress. I called and asked the name of the dress and designer so I could make sure I was ordering the correct one from them. My request was denied....ok...I get it...you don’t want someone ripping off your dress design, but this Cinderella won’t have time to get someone to make the dress anyway...final wedding countdown had begun. I then had to go on their website and I looked through hundreds of dresses. I liked 1 dress, but I wasn’t sure it was the one I tried on. I called back with my credit card info and asked if the dress number I was ordering matched the one online....she hesitantly confirmed and I confidently had her charge my card. My card was declined lol...story of my life. It was flagged for fraud. The lady was very patient as I spent the next hour sorting it out with my credit card company even though I called them about 20 times to see if it was going through....thanks for your patience.That was a real pain.Two weeks later I called. They told me the dress was due to arrive in their store the next day. They shipped it to me the very next day. I had it fast (and I live in North Carolina).I tried on my dress, and it fits like a glove! I’m so in love with it! So thank you from the bottom of my heart. It wasn’t the easiest purchase, but I’m happy it was made.
I have been dreaming of buying my wedding dress for as long as I can remember. Everyone always tells me that you will try one dress on and you wont want to take it off, you wont be able to stop thinking about it, and that is EXACTLY what happened at BriZan. Even in the middle of a global pandemic, BriZan made my dress shopping experience all that I could ask for. I worked with Sue, the owner, and she was SO great at helping pick out styles that I would like, helping me decide between dresses, and helping to make my vision become a reality. She was flexible, accommodating, supportive and I trusted her 100%. It was my first time out dress shopping and there was this one dress that I just couldnt wait to put back on. I said YES to the dress at BriZan Couture and the next morning woke up at 6AM on a weekend just SO excited that I found my dream gown. Thank you to the women of BriZan for making my dream come true!!!!!! I am forever grateful! I cant wait to wear that dress in front of all the people i know and love!
I cannot thank the staff of Bri’Zan ENOUGH. They were so accommodating, sweet, and provided everything I could have thought of and more. They knew their stuff inside and out, and even put together a mini “reveal” for me and my family. Kim was my consultant and I am so lucky to have had her working with me. She made me feel comfortable and at ease through the whole process, and never pressured me to try a different style, move quicker, or change my ideas. SO happy to have said yes to my dress here!
Hands down the best Bridal Store EVER!3 weeks ago, I had a wedding dress emergency and due to the fact I worked out a lot, my dress didnt fit. I left a voicemail for BriZan, to see if they would be willing to help me, even though I didnt buy my dress from them.The next day, Sue called me. She was very friendly, helpful and hopeful that they could help me. We booked an appointment to determine my alteration needs. Without even second guessing it, she said we will take very good care of you and they did. BriZan, Sue, Samia and the staff that worked with me, turned my dream dress into something even more imaginable than I could ever want. My dress was gorgeous before they made alteration changes but my guests will be completely overwhelmed with tears to see me in this one-of-a-kind dress.Thank you for everything and because you were so willing to take a chance on a dress that wasnt even yours, I will forever be grateful for everything that you did for me and I will definitely be a repeat customer.Felicia
I found my prom dress at another boutique but I didnt want to purchase from them as last time alterations were a nightmare. BriZan was more than happy to order the dress for me and then we went right to work with very affordable and well done alterations. The staff is all very nice and more than willing to help you find the prom, dance, or wedding dress of your dreams.
My mother’s friend, who had bought her daughters wedding dress from this salon, recommended Bri’Zan Couture. I figured this was a nice dress salon since it was recommended, but I never knew that this would become my new obsession! I couldn’t believe it when I found out that they made custom made bridal gowns. I wanted to see their work before I invested in them making my bridal gown and was I pleasantly surprised to find that their designs were more gorgeous and more unique compared to all the “look a likes” you find in bridal salons and the craftsmanship of the gowns were as if they cost $50k and up. I worked with Sue and her design team on my gown and through the entire process, I was able to pick out every part of my gown with sue guiding me. I cannot express my gratitude to this salon and their design team, because I not only made my own bridal gown vision come to life, but it was even better than I could have dreamt it would be! Bri’Zan Couture Naperville is hands down the BEST BRIDAL SALON in ILLINOIS! Service was 150%, Dresses were gorgeous, Staff is phenomenal and salon is stunning! Everything that I needed for my gown was there, from dress, shoes, jewelry, veils and headpieces. I also bought all 12 of my bridesmaid’s dresses and 4 flower girl dresses. My mother and mother-in-law also bought their dresses there too. Every time I went into the salon, I always received excellent service. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and insightful! I have and will continue to recommend anyone and everyone that I know to this gorgeous salon!
Its not often you find a store that fills your expectations of what wedding dress shopping should be! We ended up at BriZan after visiting several other locations, one of which put my daughter in a dress that was outside our budget - the number one no no for dress shopping! Of course, that was the one she fell in love with. Out of principle I chose not to order from them and asked BriZan if they could help. Since they did not carry the dress in inventory, they contact the manufacturer and had one shipped for us to try on. During our appointment, which lasted over an hour and a half, Sue had my daughter try on several more gowns, based on what my daughter told her she was looking for, to help her make sure this was the one she wanted.We placed our order, the dress came in, simple alterations were made (for a very reasonable fee) and we came in for our final fitting. During that time, we noticed the lace panel in the front of the gown didnt fall exactly the way we wanted it to, so Sue called in her seamstress and they had a conversation on a solution. Then Sue had my daughter take off the dress and the seamstress added the fix while we waited!! The dress has an internal corset for which I needed some training and while I thought I had it down, I did not. Sue asked if I could come back into the store and showed me again, with very good instructions, on what I should be doing.BriZan is a beautiful salon with plenty of price point options! The service is top notch and there is absolutely no pressure to buy. Nor did I ever feel rushed. Their goal is to give you a great experience to find the gown of your dreams. Ive had several friends end up there after frustrating shopping experiences elsewhere and couldnt be happier!
Where can I possibly begin? When trying to make one of the most important decisions for your wedding day, Bri’Zan Couture without a doubt is the place you want to be! I found Bri’Zan at a bridal show I attended and decided to make an appointment because I was blown away by the beautiful styles they had for show. After previously visiting numerous “well known” shops with no luck…I was considering cancelling my appointment with Bri’Zan, I honestly thought I would never find my dress!Like any bride, we have a vision of our dream dress. After having bridal shop after bridal shop shut down my vision and try to cover it with their “we can’t do that” “well I don’t think that will work for you” “we will call you if we get anything like that in stock” It is very easy to become discouraged! But not Bri’Zan, not Sue and her team. I came in with low hopes, thinking this was just another waste of my time…boy was I wrong!The shop was a bit busy that day, but I was immediately acknowledged and told to have a seat and someone would be with me. Sue greeted me with her beautiful smile and positive attitude! We sat down and Sue wanted to hear what I WANTED, and what MY visions were. She took notes, listened attentively, asked all the right questions & quickly had me exploring the shop for MY dress. She let me pull the dresses I wanted to try on and offered some suggestions as well. Let me tell you…I thought her suggestions would never work out! “It just isn’t my style” I said, but Sue asked I “give it a go” for her. Let me tell you…I am so happy I listened to SueAfter trying on 3 dresses (of my choice) and just feeling “meh” about them, I tried on the 2nd dress Sue suggested. Now you know they say, “You will know you found your dress when you do” well I knew! I burst into tears after trying on that dress & Sue celebrated with me and my family. I can say she was genuinely happy to help, we all felt like family in her shop!I needed very special alterations made to the dress and Sue never once questioned me or tried to talk me out of my vision. On the contrary, she made more wonderful suggestions and assured me I would not be disappointed. There was 0 judgment and just so much love from the Bri’Zan team. Sue really helped ease my mind and make this moment very special and worry free. Once my dress was in I came in for 3 additional fittings. The Next Best Thing To Dress Shopping With Your Girlfriends! I have an upcoming event and needed to get a dress purchased and altered (Im short so virtually everything needs to be altered) with only 2 1/2 weeks to spare. This was by far the best dress shopping experience Ive had! The gals were quick to tell me honestly what looked good and what didnt and they let me try on virtually every blue dress in the store. From that to showing me how the dresses could be altered for maximum impact to taking pictures so I can send to my fellow for a thumbs up or thumbs down, the ladies made this a fun evening and I managed to walk out with a dress that looks great on me with only one stop. I will definitely be back to make my next formal event purchase. I can honestly say that while I saw a review or two that were not complimentary, my experience was top notch. I cant wait to go back for the fitting and to rock my dress at my event. Definitely give this store a shot! I love any place where I can make one visit and complete my shopping to do list AND have a laugh or two while Im doing it. Super service with a good selection of dresses on hand for people like me..... doing last minute shopping.
SHADY! So disappointed in the girls here who are performing awful sales practices. Went with my future sister in law to look at dresses and it was empty, they were closing as we were leaving at 8pm and one girl goes in the back to call the front desk (where we were providing our information to save a dress she loved) and she was pretending she was a customer who ironically wanted to try on the exact dress my sister in law fell in love with in order to pressure her to make the decision and buy. This was a sample gown for sale so would be the only one available.
I bought a beautiful mother of the groom dress from salon back in May. In August my dress came in...everything seemed great, the girl that originally waited on me then pinned the dress for alterations. So far so good. I paid $1000.00 for this lace dress with beautiful beading. I go today for final fitting...12:00 noon appointment. Waited 45 min because dress was being steamed..dress was brought out finally and I tried it on. To my horror, dress was bustled completely wrong. They used hook and eyes to bustle lace overlay which was ripping. Found one whole in back of dress, when I pointed this out to young sales girl who I never worked with she said she would bring in back to seamstress. Dress was brought out a few minutes later unbustled and was on hanger, told I owed 250.00 in alterations. I paid in cash. Then she proceeded to bunch dress in plastic bag and I asked her to show me how bustle was fixed, which she clearly didnt know. I then drove my new dress to another store for alterations which will cost me over 100.00 to fix their mistakes. The bustle was attached to low and was actually ripping lace on dress. Extremely disappointed with workmanship of seamstress. I have 3 weeks before my sons wedding. My advice this store has beautiful gowns but horrible, horrible seamstress...be very weary.
I had a wonderful time finding my wedding dress here. Sue took great care of me and they have exceptional customer service. There is a wide variety of dresses and she made it so it was not an overwhelming process. I would absolutely recommend going to Bri’Zan Couture!
I went here to find a wedding dress and it was my first time trying on dresses. They advertise how they stand out from other stores for doing 2 hour appointments. My appointment was cut to 1 hour and 15 minutes even though I had two more dresses I would have liked to try on. My consultant, Louise, did not seem interested in anything I had to say, kept putting me in gowns I was not very interested in and would not clip the gowns in any way to make them fit me any better. I said I wanted to try on the two dresses and she just refused. Horrible first experience trying on dresses. There was another consultant working in the room next to me who seemed to really love her job and was very passionate about it. I spent majority of my appointment wishing she was my consultant. If you have an appointment with Louise, do not go.
Everyone already knows Brizan is THE salon to go to for wedding dresses, but it is also AMAZING when it comes to mom of the bride dresses. Sue and her staff were patient and listened to what I wanted in a mom of the bride dress. With Sues vast knowledge of what would work best for my body type and the vision I had of what I wanted to wear, I was able to pick the perfect dress for me! It was such a fun experience! You MUST go to Brizan!

The appointment was booked quickly, and the consultant, Alice, was very friendly and helpful. In addition, the dressing room area was fancy, warm, inviting, and open so you could see others trying on their dresses to give/ receive feedback. The only approach I would’ve done differently would be to inquire ahead of time regarding dress availability. However, they had a large selection, and I found my dream dress. I would definitely recommend Brizan.
My wedding is in two weeks. Yes, two weeks. Louise, at Bra’zan, was extremely helpful. She was great in assisting me find a beautiful dress, plus my alterations will be done within a week! I’m very excited. Thank you for the great service! I highly recommend them!
A very memorable and wonderful experience at Bri’Zan Couture! They had gorgeous bridal gowns, wonderful and friendly staff and were respectful to my price point! I found my dress after trying on only 5 dresses thanks to my consultant who listened to everything I said and gave me everything that I wanted! I would defiantly recommend this salon in Naperville!

Kim and BriZan Couture made a stressful situation very fun and exciting. My husband and I are renewing our vows for our 10 Year Anniversary on June 25th, 2020. We went back and forth about canceling this all together and then I received a text that Kim will be able to do a 1:1 appointment with me and my daughter as long as we wore our masks and gloves and it could only be the two of us. We used Zoom so my Dad, step mom and Grandma could see. It turned out to be wonderful. I bought a gorgeous dress off the rack and so did my daughter. Kim was beyond helpful, super fun and made us feel so normal even though we had those silly masks on our faces.THANK YOU BriZan for making my special occasion so much more special. Summary: Horrible customer service. Not going back.Im engaged, and my mom and I had a little outing this morning to shop for wedding dresses. A friend recommended them, and we were nearby, so we stopped in with a little under an hour to spare before lunch. Despite the window displays with wedding gowns, there was hardly a wedding dress in the store, and I should know, since I had ten minutes of waiting to wander alone through the shelves while the saleslady was chatting on the phone. Though we were the only people in the store, when my mom asked about wedding gowns, the rude saleslady didnt want to talk to her and told her frostily that the bride needs to call for an appointment first. She went on to explain that apparently we shouldnt have expected them to have any wedding dresses out because its prom season. Well, of course, I should have realized. Its the middle of March, so naturally the stores wont have wedding dresses- prom is only two-three months away! Is this person crazy? No, probably just rude. I can tell you one thing; Im not going back there.
The service here is excellent and always so great to work with the ladies. They give amazing compliments and can help with breaking options down too. I really love how this team made me feel so much more comfortable than the other place I went to. They made me feel right at home and I cant believe how fast the process was with getting my prom dress. They are also very clean which is nice and classy. I definitely recommend this place for your bride or the dance of your dreams. 👍

I had my mother of the bride dress custom made by Bri’Zan Couture and I have never had a more beautiful dress in my life! It was original and unique and it fit me like a glove. I have never had a gown fit me like a glove even after alterations (and I go to a lot of functions that require me to wear evening gowns). Since my experience here, I will only buy my gowns from Bri’Zan Couture Naperville and each one is custom made for me. They have earned my loyalty for life and I cannot thank them enough for making my dress perfect for my daughters wedding and every dress after that!
First ever appointment and I found my dress right away! Very helpful consultants and knew exactly what I was looking for. Didnt end up getting what I thought I wanted and they helped to find styles that fit my body.
Experience started out great, but then went downhill after I bought the dress. Beware of these crooks.charged twice for alterations. Charged for THEIR mistakes. EVERY ALTERATION FELL APART WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF PUTTING ON MY DRESS ON MY WEDDING DAY. Had to threaten to sue the owner whose name is Sue haha. That liar promised, with a smile on her face, that everything would be perfect, and that they knew what they were doing when I suggested taking my alterations elsewhere. Should have gone with my instincts. Stay away from this creep. The girl who worked with me to find my dress was amazing. She should take her talent elsewhere instead of working for this loser. they dont have anything you cant find anywhere else, and SURPRISE, their prices are higher than other places with the same dress. I found them at a wedding a show btw. They still send me stuff in mail and email. EW. No Sue, I will NEVER vote you best of 2019, so never send me your solicitation emails again. Thief. You deserve to go out of business. You ruined my dress experience on my wedding day. If I could save even one woman from you, then this review is worth it. Stay away ladies! There are plenty of better options! Oh yeah, they DIDNT hem my moms mother of the bride dress to then length she wanted, AND THEN CHARGED HER TO DO IT OVER TO WHERE SHE ASKED FOR IT IN THE FIRST PLACE, which is the same thing they tried to pull with my dress like two weeks before my wedding!!! I had to deal with it after my honeymoon. Go anywhere other than here! My bustle didnt even work!! Beading fell off my shoulder straps before I even left for the church! I hate you, Sue!! My niece purchased her wedding dress here. The owner, Sue was our sales person back in August. My niece is a size 0. We were told a 2 would be ordered because it would be easier to take it in if need be. April 14th my niece picked up her dress and to her shock it was a size 12. Obviously an error. Mistakes happen, we get that. Initially she was told it could be altered but it would be $750 maybe more. My niece went to several other places for a quote. Those places would not alter the dress due to the amount of lace and material. Ive been doing some research and while there are alot of positive comments about the store, there are also some negative comments. Most are about the agreed size of the dress to be ordered was not the size received resulting in alot of extra money in alterations.We are less than a month from the wedding an my poor niece had to scramble to find another perfect dress. We requested a refund, even an exchange and were told no. We have been to the store several times to see the owner who was there but refused to come out of her office. She also refused to take our calls. This was the stores error, not ours. Ms. Sue Cayan, shame on you for being more worried money than about taking responsibility for this error. I would hope you would rethink your decision about a refund.

Alice was great! I was shopping for a wedding dress. She moved so quickly so I was able to try on aprox. 20 dresses during my appointment. She was really great and not pushy. The prices of the gowns were really reasonable!
Each sales person I worked with was so nice and friendly. I was shopping for a mother of the bride dress and liked that I didn’t need an appointment. There was a decent variety in stock, however, many styles were able to be ordered if I needed that.

I had a reservation to look for MOB/MOG dresses this past weekend. The girls helping us were so attentive and they were not pushy nor stating that everything looks good just to try to sell a dress! Their honesty was refreshing and their suggestions were spot on. This is the second time that I have come here for a family MOG gown and I am sure I will for future family weddings!
I went to look for a wedding dress at BriZan. After trying on dresses, I was informed that all the dresses I tried on were all $7500+. This was more than double what I said I was looking to spend ($2000-3000). This was unprofessional and a waste of time.UPDATE - I found the same dresses she quotes as $7500 and as Sues own design at Kleinfelds for $1500-3000 under the Allure Bridal brand. I am shocked at the store owner Sue for being so unprofessional by 1) charging me more than double and 2) committing brand infringement.This unethical store deserves no stars.
Went here to look for a wedding dress and had a great experience up until they hit us with the alternation bill. I would give Sue, the consultant a 5/5 stars as she was great and extremely helpful in picking out my dress. However, DO NOT get alternations done here!! They go through a separate company but will not disclose any information regarding pricing until everything is complete. At first they told me the alternations on my dress were $650 for five things that were done on a dress that was measured and sized very accurately according to them when I placed the order. I refused to pay that much and left without the dress until they could provide specific pricing on each alternation they performed. However, when my mom called a few days later they told her it was now $735. On top of that Vera the lady that does alternations was rude to my mom when she suggested an alternative bustle and was not a very pleasant person to work with in general. Moral of the story: dont commit to alternations unless you can agree on a price or flat rate ahead of time as they will take advantage of you and charge outrageous prices

I realized that they were located in Naperville, IL and I thought it was a little ways out for me (I’m from Palatine, IL). But man every mile I drove was worth the experience! I found my wedding gown here and this place is a GEM! My consultant was amazing and the entire staff was friendly and oh so knowledgeable! I am so happy to have found this salon, a HIGH RECCOMENDATION for Bri’Zan Couture in Naperville!
I can’t even explain how great Bri’Zan was. Everyone was fantastic. Sue, Maryanne, the rest of the employees were nothing but nice, sweet and professional. My experience was one that I will NEVER forget.
Once again I put another company on Social Blast!! Well, a shop in Naperville, Bri’Zan Couture, is on my WTF list! My niece went shopping for a prom gown. The dress cost was $400+. Well, when my niece tried on the dress, the sales lady “clipped” the back of the dress to make it fit while she looked in the mirror. She and her mother were told (by the sales rep.) “This dress is a “one of a kind”, this was the only dress available in this kind and no one else would have it, we also do alterations if needed.” Not once did they offer an option to order a dress in her correct size. (Because they had the one dress.) They were also not allowed to take pictures of this “one of a kind dress” as well.My concerns as a seamstress are that I see countless young girls with expensive dresses that are ill fitting and require lots of alterations - Costly and time-consuming alterations and the parents spend lots of hard earned money so their kids are happy and satisfied! These shops take advantage of consumers by misleading them. First off, I found the dress on various websites (recommended by the Designer)! Not only is this dress NOT a one of a kind but also it comes in three other colors and various sizes. It is a dress from the designer’s 2014 line. I and my Sister-in-Law called Bri’Zon earlier today after I did my research and Spoke to Dionna the shop Manager. (The shop manager tried that “One of a kind” thing until I called her on it. She said that the dress was unavailable and that she could not order a different size because it is a one of a kind from last season (Really?! 2014 Line!) But alterations were $125 to $200.) I gave her many chances (on the phone) to “order” the correct size dress for my niece (that’s all we wanted) or do the alteration for free since my niece and her mom were misled. The manager apologized and mentioned again (3x’s) the price of alterations. She did nothing to help my niece or my sister in law. $400+ after taxes - I see this as consumer disrespect and fraud. Unfortunately, my sister signed a receipt agreeing with a “Final Sale” policy so she can’t bring the dress back. I’ll be doing the alterations for her and I thank God, I’m able or else she’d be out even more money to this awful place. Please, Please, Please all of you who have young one’s going to prom or graduating AVOID this place and shop elsewhere because after I finish my nieces gown – I won’t be available nor will any other seamstress doing Prom, I can assure you they are fully booked. That’s my opinion and findings of my research on her particular gown.
I said yes to my dress here! :) They have a great selection, one of the best I saw while dress searching in the Chicago area. The prices were fair and their customer service was very nice! Go find your dress there! You will love it like I did!
Jennifer was awesome!! She was friendly and knowledgeable. I truly felt that she wanted to make sure I got the dress for me. We were there for a little over 2 hours anf it was just enough time to find the right dress at the right price.
Very nice selection. Excellent helpful staff. No photos can be taken of dresses in the dressing rm area. When you are shopping for that special dress it can be helpful if you can look back at a picture and see the good and questionable points of a particular dress. They expect you to provide a $50 deposit up front… before you even set foot in the store… and if you don’t find anything it’s non refundable. What kind of shady policy is that? If they have to scam you into buying something, it’s clearly not a good place to shop.

I went in after looking at so many other stores found the perfect dress everything was great the customer service was great so I went ahead & put a down payment on my dress which was August 22nd 2017. I called in January 2018 still no dress I called in February 2018 I was told my dress would be in in 2 weeks it was coming from Allure so I get online only to find the dress $1300 cheaper from Allure I paid $500 for my veil that I seen the exact same one at hobby lobby for $40 & my head piece was also $500 & also couldve saved $425 found that somewhere else too mind u everytime I call I never spoke with Sue who I did business with it was always I am new here but I will get back to u so then March 2018 comes around still no dress I did not receive my dress until the end of April 2018 & my wedding was June 30th 2018 so I didnt want to take the chance on any alterations & my dress was fitted 4 sizes to big so there wasnt an option not to have it altered they have beautiful dresses but once they get your money customer service goes out the window there is no refund so u have to just pray its there in time sadly to say I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone prices are sky high & customer service sucks once they get your money

2022-09-19I have mixed feelings about all of my time using Bri’Zan. I originally bought my dress back in 2019. The appointment was good. I can’t speak much to the skill of the consultant because I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and bought that dress. It came in right as the pandemic was beginning and then sat in my closet for 3 years of reschedules and cancellations.When I finally had my first appointment for fittings, it was awful. The owner basically ran the show for the appointment and it was rough. The dress didn’t fit and she told me they couldn’t take it out because of the type of fabric. If this was the case, why didn’t the original consultant have me size up?! Mind you, I had not gained any weight and was the same size so this was puzzling. I left that appointment feeling super defeated and upset. I tried to get another appointment to retry the dress (because at this point I was ready to buy something else…) and they couldn’t get me in. So I waited 2 months feeling awful.My second fitting was so much better. I worked with Kennedy and she was truly like a fairy godmother. She realized that because of my height (I’m only 5’3”), the waist of the dress wasn’t hitting in the right spot. A simple fix made the dress fit like a glove. I am so grateful for her care, love and patience on this day! She worked with me for my final fitting and helped erase all of the negative thoughts I had.Overall in the end I loved my dress. It was stunning and fit me perfectly. I would just hope that this helps make things better for other customers in the future.

2022-02-06I had an amazing experience prom dress shopping at Bri’zan!! Mia was an absolute angel and I left my appointment really unsure of which dress to pick then came back today and she took me without an appointment and let me try both dresses on again and helped tremendously with making a decision. The whole staff went above and beyond to make me feel confident and 100% sure I chose the right dress. Could not recommend this place enough!!

2022-09-19After looking at many places for my mother of the groom dress, we ended up at Bri’Zan. Lily was extremely helpful in showing me many dresses of which I finally found “the one”. After signing on the dotted line and giving a more than generous 20% tip, I was told your alterations were getting very booked up and it might be better if I found someone closer to my home. When I asked where, I was told to search on Google and read the reviews. When I did pick up my dress after ordering, I felt it was too tight and you could tell many alterations were needed. Again I was told they were booked up and for me to search for a seamstress. Well I found a more than qualified seamstress who used to own her own bridal boutique. She has to almost take the dress completely apart and redo it to fit me properly. Yes, I like my dress, but, I truly feel that if your alteration department was that booked, people should be told before they even look at dresses. Also, I should have been given a list of people who you would have recommended to alter my dress instead of telling me to look on line and read reviews. I have told my neighbors and many friends of where I have gotten my dress and that you couldn’t do the alterations and they were shocked. The wedding was a little over 6 weeks away when I bought my dress. Some of my friends said they feel your place knew it would be a lot of work to alter and your place just said they were booked. I do hope many people read this review.

2022-07-26Bri’Zan Couture was the best choice I made when finding my mother of the groom gown. Anna my consultant had shown me gowns that no other shop had. Her patients, honesty and helpfulness was over and above. She had me with no doubt this dress was made for me. Sam did an amazing job with alterations which I thought would be impossible to do but she did it. On the day of my sons wedding , I was so happy and gorgeous wearing my gown on this special occasion. Thank you Anna and Sam on making me feel so special.

2022-03-02BriZan is wonderful and Kennedy, my consultant, was so sweet and patient and focused on finding what I wanted! I am a picky bride and was second guessing what I wanted, half comfortable in my skin and half self-conscious, but I felt very comfortable with Kennedy and of course, the dresses are beautiful. I finally made a decision today and Im thrilled! My favorite dresses and the one I picked were ones that Kennedy picked out herself, not me, which is great! Excited to get into the dress in my size and so glad to get that checked off my list! The store was clean, beautiful, and full of gorgeous dresses. My budget was respected, which is very important! Id recommend this salon to anyone looking!

2022-09-07Kennedy was, without a doubt, the best person I couldve been paired with. She was helpful, honest, attentive, and an all around cool person. Wedding dress shopping is a stressful thing but she helped me get through it even when I started to feel overwhelmed. She gets a sense of your style after you pick out several dresses and brings in suggestions. The dress selection of the store is wide and I didnt feel like I was being stuffed into dresses considering Im curvy. I plan on doing another appointment to check out more dresses we possibly looked over and check out the few I really liked.

2022-06-26Alix was so helpful and personable and made my experience beyond amazing!! We had previously went to another bridal shop an hour before and had received poor customer service and essentially had to figure everything out on my own. Alix literally chose my wedding dress for me by listening to the likes and dislikes from the dresses I had chosen for myself. The dress I ended up getting for my wedding wasn’t even one I had considered until Alix found it for me. I am so grateful to have found my dream dress and wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!!

2022-07-25Had an amazing experience shopping for my wedding dress at Bri’Zan! Kennedy was our consultant and she was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door. She not only took the time to understand what I was looking for in terms of style, but she was able to interpret my personality and comfort level right away to help select the right pieces. She was supportive but honest throughout the appointment, which was very appreciated! I ended up finding my dress and it was one of the dresses Kennedy picked out for me based on my personality and style - it was honestly perfect. So grateful to have had such a positive, low stress experience at Bri’Zan and I’ll definitely be back to get my alterations done! I highly recommend them to anyone who is searching for their dress!
