Excellent location for a medium size gathering where food will be served.

I sat and watched as they cleaned and sanitized the park and sitting tables. Glad they care so the kids can have a lil bit of normalcy. This park offers a lot of activities for the youth.

I definitely had a wonderful time celebrating the life of my boyfriends uncle with his family there, great place to hold a gathering big and spacious everything was PERFECT !!!
Loved it there! Has a wide variety of things for the kids to enjoy. Has a swimming pool, a field and a nice walking path as well as an old bomber jet fenced in.

This park is amazing! It has many more features than your average park: swimming pool, water park, play ground, field with stadium, picnic pavilion, etc. Very clean with lots of families all around. I dont have a pet so I appreciate that there are no pets allowed and I can feel safe about my kids running around in poop-free grass. Will definitely be returning frequently.

Great place to take your kids. A swimmi g pool and a separate splash area for the little ones. Great sledding hill in the winter with 2 tobaggon slides.
Nice park but they need to do something about the older kids hanging out on the slides while kids are trying to play
My favorite place in Blue Island!
Nice, clean. My family was there four years ago for a 6 people high school graduation party. We had a blast. The pool was open to us as well. We used the Pavilion which was awesome because there was so many of us. The time my family was there for an undergraduate and kindergarten graduation party. The pool wasnt open but the pavilion was still clean and the accomodations were still góod.
The best park i have ever been too. They have the water park whice is affordable. the zoo and the park . i love this place

Really nice park, it has quite a lot of Pokemon Go Stops for the little ones, there is also a pool for the summer months, there is also a really nice walking path all the way around the park. Only downside is lots of geese and some steep hills
Well managed park district with clean facilities. They offer a lot of activities that are affordable.I also enjoy their soccer program. They have very patient coaches that make it fun for my young child.
Great place to cool off and swim. Private rooms. Limited parking. Altogether a nice place.
It was nice and quiet.. it also has a pool area and cool biking ramps. The playground is cool because they have actual things kids can work out on and train for battle climbing, sliding, shaky bridges plus more!!

We went for the BBQ on the Hill. This was our 3rd year attending. One of my favorite events of the year. Music, beer, community and good food!

My family and I really enjoyed the toboggan run in this park. We did not have a lot of snow this winter, but I kind of look forward to more sledding here in the future, now that we have discovered this fun corner of the park.

Fantastic swimming pool! A friends rented it the entire pool for a night and it was great! Everything was very clean, and the kids loved the diving board.

Best park I have ever been to, has a nice public pool, park, fields, and more. This park has things to do year round from easter egg hunts to sledding to santa visits. I have been going to this park since I was a child and it has always been nice, clean, and safe.

Lots of equipment for my grandkids to play on. Lots of room for them to run around, roll down the hill, play tag etc. They cant wait until the pool opens.

This place used to be a favorite for me and my children. However, when I brought my children here last week we left after a short time. There were a bunch of young teenagers throwing a football in the middle of the play area, lots of cursing, disrespect, hanging out, etc. Somethings we cant control, but we can limit them. I have seen staff enforce rules before, for example, no riding bikes there. But this particular day, there was no one to enforce the rules. It was kind of wild. Unfortunately, we left. I would suggest better monitoring of the play area.
They have great events for the family! I love the flashlight egg hunts for the kids. It also doesnt break the bank.

Park District always does great events. Was there for BBQ on the Hill. Gets better every year with planning, location, and vendors.
Quiet friendly and surrounded by historical houses however does not allow dogs.

Memorial park is an excellent park for a family Pokemon GO outing, as there are many gyms and Pokestops here and plenty of space to take a nice walk. The playground has good swings and several slides and there is enough equipment here that lots of kids can play at once without getting in each others way.
Its a beautiful park, clean on the inside, and the room was large enough for the event.

2022-01-22Blue island park district youve got to do better. At a kids basketball game in the middle of a pandemic and no mask enforcement. With over 1.4M cases and over 13k deaths in Cook county, Id like to thank Blue Island for their efforts in helping end the pandemic.
