We ordered 4 lengua 1 pastor 1 asada and two tripe tacos and a side of rice. The lengua tacos tasted off to me and when my husband tasted his the same thing. The rice also was not the same that we had ordered before it was red and crumbly. This is the second time that we have a bad experience here sadly we won’t be going back.
The food here is amazing if you can actually get these folks on the phone, or make there before they randomly close. The last three times I tried to go here, they either 1. Dont answer the phone, 2. Answer then leave you on hold, or 3.(my favorite) you place your order go all the way there and theyre closed before store hours.

There hasnt been a thing here I havent liked. The burrito was freshly made to order from the meat being cooked to building it up. The goat stew was so tasty and very filling, very little fat and tender meat. Tacos were great, and the salsas were just awesome. Will be coming more often. This is my new favorite spot.

We came to this restaurant for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. The crew were very polite and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.
At the first moment you come to this place they give you a great feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a kind restaurant to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good meals, qualified chef, comfortable cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.
It was the first time I stop there and the last time ,I wish I had a photo to show, I order a three toco dinner and the the steak was the worse I ever had, the steak was crispy and ok ver cooked and the refried beans were Terrible. They definite need find a new cook and someone who knows how to manage a restaurant
Very good! The meals are very reasonable and fulfilling. Also, the staff there was very attentive and friendly as they prepared my food, alongside with a genorus amount of corn tortilla chips with your choice of hot or mild salsa. Overall, this restaurant is now one of my favorite go to plase for Mexican food.
It was OK tacos were bland the dipping broth was great that was gave it a little bit more flavor not something Ill eat everyday or go out my way

Ok, saw the picture of the stew and had to go have some. Went there and I am here to tell you, the Goat Stew is the best around. Served with cilantro and onions, with a side of tortillas, peppers, limes, and pepper sauce. I got a large bowl and ate every bit of it. You need to keep this little whole in the wall on your radar! they are that good. Cant wait to try the goat tacos!!! :-)

Was calling them at 7:30pm which is 30 minutes before closing and they were not answering. I drove there anyways as it’s only a 5 minute drive. I get there and the place was already closed. They had a sign saying they close at 8pm. Not the first time this happens so I decided this time I would leave them a review.
Very neat and welcoming restaurant. They offer big portions and for fair prices. I liked the menu very much and the staff were very friendly and explanatory. I recommend this place.

The birriera ( goat stew) is absolutely delicious! They use 100 percent fresh, slowly cooked goat meat. The flavor of the meat, consume, and chili sauce is so legit that this is as authentic as it gets. They also serve goat meat tacos and tortas as well as more typical Mexican fast food choices.

Goat burrito is very good. Sauces served with burritos and tacos are good and spicy. Chips were good but were only served with hot sauces.

Well, before I gave them 5 ⭐ but now I withdraw what I said when they gave me my wrong order and I argued that they were two large consommé and it was only 1 and 3 sauce to test I have the photo and apart it is not allowed to have accumulation of people And you still have people eating inside the restaurant, but I wish you luck, since I left badly with the order and I hope you comply with the health measures for fewer infections
A lot of suet in the beer. It is better to pay more but eat something good..nothing to compare with Zaragoza birrieria, golden brown and a lot of meat and ribs, and they give you what you ask for, very good birria

2022-07-04The best way to start your morning is by having Tacos for Breakfast and the tacos I just had, hit the right spot that i was craving. As I was driving through Blue Island, i asked my friend if he could recommend me a good place to eat tacos and he said that there were no place like that in BI but i didnt gave up in my search for good tacos. Minutes later he texted me by delivering some good news with a location, he said and i quote, You should try this place out is the best so far. Birrieria Loreto Zacatecas located in Blue Island is one of those places you will miss if you are not looking specially because is right next to other food establishments. I came in early in the morning, so i can have the freshness of everything. I was able to sit down right away and i was greeted by the friendly staff. I place my usual order when it comes to new restaurants. I got myself two steak tacos with everything and a glass bottle of a really cold Mexican Coke. They brought to my table green and red salsa and some chips to start my meal, but once my tacos arrived it was just perfection. Each taco came with two tortillas and a perfectly amount of meat with the perfect ratio of cilantro and onions. Everything came together once i added the salsa. Overall, everything was amazing from the price to the meal. My journey continues looking for the best tacos around the city and the tacos from Birrieria Loreto Zacatecas were delicious.

2022-03-13My African-American friend traveled from Chicago to try the birria tacos after reading the reviews about it on Groupon. He purchased the Groupon and visited the location on a Sunday afternoon when gas is $6 a gallon for premium grade. When he entered he said everyone was looking at him weirdly. He walked to the counter and said to the cashier that he had a Groupon he wanted to use. The cashier said they no longer accept Groupons. He left the restaurant disappointed and confused. The Groupon is not expired so why didnt they accept it? I would hate to think it was racism involved but I really dont understand why they do that to him.

2021-11-17Birria was great, very tasty. I just had an issue with the waitress, she acknowledged us literally one time the enter visit, I had to get up and go to the front for anything we needed. She was also sweeping the carpet right in front of us! Dust in my soup is disgusting!!

2021-11-13Used to be a frequent customer with my family but one of the waitress didn’t serves us right.. she gave us the food in a bad mood and sticked her finger on one of our plates while handing it to us and we mentioned that the food wasn’t eatable and she started getting loud at us for no reason. And said I didn’t know how restaurant environment works.. like I’ve been on the food industry, waitressing and customer service for over 5 years.

2021-06-04I been here a couple of times during the week, and it always has been a very pleasant experience. So I decided to try the dine in. And I think you guys are under staff. You have one waitress wait on all the tables bring food to the wrong tables, or never getting an order in. I had the consome with some tacos on the side, the tacos did not taste the same.
