I connected with Robert and his team while trying to track down a part for my electric bike - the manufacturer had been unresponsive, but Robert was able to get ahold of the companys owner and ensure that the problem got addressed. He also kept up with me throughout the process and kept my apprised of where they were at in coordinating with the manufacturer.I was blown away by the consideration, dedication to customer service, and passion for cycling that these guys put forward in their work - would definitely go to them for help again!
I am touring and started having shifting issues. I came in with no notice asking if they could look at it. They got it on the bike stand and found that there were several little things causing the problem. Not only were they able to tweak those, but they also found 2 other things that needed addressed. I have been riding 5 days since the repairs and not one single problem. I would like to give them 6 stars for customer service and the quality of their workmanship.
We purchased an Aveton e-bike for our son a few weeks ago. Very nice, professional, and helpful shop. First day at college our sons seat, seat clamp, seat post, and lights were stolen. We were three hours from this shop and they still helped us over the phone twice to get the measurements to order new parts locally.
Good experience. Owner was super friendly and knowledgeable.

2022-05-15Bought my first bike ever in Chicago, took a trip to Springfield. Owned the bike for 3 days. I am 100% a newbie and I realized my legs were getting very tired when I pedaled. I stopped in to the Bicycle Doctor.I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. The Bicycle Doctor gave me all the advice I didnt know I needed: they watched me ride up and down the sidewalk, adjusted my seat, tightened loose bolts on my bike, and adjusted the PSI on my brand new bike (even though I didnt buy it from them). I felt like they were really looking out for a rookie biker. I boought some accessories, tools, and a spare tube and walked out feeling 10 times better about my future riding experience.Thank you, Bicycle Doctor!

2022-01-01I bought a Pace350 in November directly from Aventon and could not get the electrical part to work. I worked with Aventon to replace different parts to no avail. I live in St. Louis and decided to take the bike to Springfield IL to the Bicycle Dr. So on New Years Eve I made the 2 hour drive. Robert greeted us and said that he would look at it immediately and if we could stick around for a while he might be able to repair it now. I went to lunch and received a call from Robert who said that he fixed the internal wiring issue. So within an hour and a half I was headed back to St. Louis with a working ebike. Robert even adjusted the brakes. He said the wiring was under warranty. Robert was so responsive and nice to work with, I wish I lived closer to Springfield because I would take all my bikes to him. 2018-06-07I was just biking by and I was extremely new to the area....I saw this cute little shop so I stopped. The cost of a fix up was extremely reasonable and they were so helpful. It was a really nice experience since Ive come all the way from New Jersey and got to experience true kindness and positive vibes. Also they made my bike ride like a DREAM!!!!

2017-09-03My wife and I were visiting the Illinois State Fair. I had an afternoon free and wanted to ride for a couple hours. Bicycle Doctors had me ready to go in 15 minutes. I rode to a couple of historical locations and read every plaque. Great shop, great service.

2021-07-24These guys are really easy to work with. They listened to my wants and provided me with multiple options. Let me test ride several bikes. They have a great selection of accessories in the shop. Highly recommend this place. It was worth the 21/2 hour drive.

2020-08-18We bought 2 E-Bikes from the Bicycle Doctor.Robert and Bob took the time to make sure we were absolutely satisfied.Their professionalism, patience, and attention to detail was awesome.The customer service is exceptional. (very rare in todays world)We highly recommend this shop and wont hesitate to make the 90 mine drive to do business with them in the future.

2021-07-03Awesome quick service! they were the only shop in town that could repair my bike with the right tires/wheels i needed. i came in with a broken rim and robert and team assembled a new wheel for me from my old rear hub within an hour! thanks!

2021-05-06Service was excellent! I needed some help with minor bike repairs and they took the time to assist me right then. Also, they changed me hardly anything for the 30 min of help. They will be handling all of my repair needs in the future!

2021-03-13This was a wonderful experience. I found everything I needed. The customer service was great; they even helped me secure my bike in my trunk (not an easy feat.). I am so excited to get back on the road and riding!
