I had a great experience at this facility in petsmart in Crestwood. They sincerely care about animals and it shows upon arrival. My dog was a bit afraid and they made him feel welcome and even gave him treats after the procedure to calm him down. The front desk veronica was very helpful and so was Michelle the nurse among the staff members were also very professional. I never seen this kind of personal attention...not even with my personal doctor lol 😆 . They really care about the animals here and I will returned . My only complaint is the vet prices ( vet visit $60 I believe?). I cant believe you have to pay this much for an appointment 😫. Otherwise outstanding service, ethical and professional. I sincerely thank them for being so kind to animals. God bless them.
Bevlab Animal Hospital has been taking care of Twilight since she was 12 weeks. Dr. Plow is her primary veterinarian. Her incredible bedside manner keeps our family coming back. Such wonderful care from reception to vet. Twilight barks happily through each appointment. We also board her here during vacation. 100% satisfaction.
We recently moved back into the area and excited to go see Dr Plow again however they wouldn’t except my cats vaccine records from their last vet even tho he is current on all his shots. The receptionist was unable to explain why this is their policy and I feel like I shouldn’t have to re -vaccinate my cat for no reason , I even asked my sister who has worked in this field for 13 years and she’s never heard of this . I fell like this is all about the money and don’t want to over vaccinate my animals and I am very disappointed ….
I bring my dogs Coffee and Lexi here both for grooming and medical check ups / shots. All the docs are super sweet and you can tell they really care about their patients. They’re very organized and have a good system where you park outside, tell you your spot number, they pick up your dog, and then bring them back (because of COVID). The groomer here does a nice job considering the price.
Have been coming here since Bela was months old. Shes 13 now. Dr. Plow is the best, most compassionate, doctor by far. She is very thorough with her explanations and very helpful with aftercare information when our dog has been sick.
Have always given raves to staff for their professionalism, they are outstanding. I must mention that Dr. Lopez is fantastic and goes far beyond what you expect and is very though in making sure your pet is well taken care of. I must also mention that Dr. Plow was just as great asI expected. Took the time to explain the problems that exist and a great remedy to correct them, there was no rush to dump and get rid of me and as usual the staff was fantastic. I would highly recommend Bevlabs to everyone who has a pet.

I love coming here the staff is always very kind and welcoming to us, our vet is Dr. Plowe and she’s amazing with our pets, my sisters car has diabetes and she also prefers Dr. Plowe, she’s very patient and very kind, she treats our animals as if they were her own!
Dr. Plowe and the staff at BevLab are the best. We have always appreciated the great care and concern they have shown to our pet dogs (Penelope and now Bella) over the past 15 years. My wife Dorothy and I recommend them to anyone seeking excellent veterinary care for their pets.
They were very short with answers and just wanted to get people in for appointments to even talk about pet illnesses or well being.

The staff is great. They really care about animals. They are very efficient and thorough with the exams. The facility is clean. My dog does well with other dogs as long as they dont bark. My dog does not get along with other dogs who bark at him. So they have a holding room to separate the animals. He gets along great with people and the showered him with affection. The prices are very reasonable for vaccinations. The wait time is not long. I will bring my dog back here.
My family have taken our pets to Bevlab for years. Now that I have two cats of my own, I chose them for my pets needs. They are very courteous, professional and caring. I brought my current kitty in for what I thought was a UTI and after investigating, the vet found she actually had a bladder stone. My cell number had changed and I forgot to update it in their system. The vet treating my little girl wrote a letter to me in an attempt to contact me. I appreciate her dedication and diligence in reaching out to me. Whenever I take my babies their for anything other than a check up such as them not feeling well, it is guaranteed that I will have a follow up phone call from the vet asking me how they are doing. It feels great having someone who takes the time to care for your pets they way you do. For most of us, our pets are a part of our family and their health and wellbeing is important. It nice to have veterinarians who feel the same way.
Ive brought my Chihuahua to this vet practice for most of her life. The Drs are very knowledgeable and along with being well trained are very caring, compassionate and friendly. The all take whatever time you need at the appointment and really listen to you. Pleasant, clean, well run office.The staff is efficient and friendly and helpful. I wouldnt take my little one anywhere else.
Bevlab Animal Hospital has been taking care of our dogs for over twenty years. The staff provides awesome service and my dog loves all the attention she gets from everyone. I like receiving the reminder postcards in the mail so I know when it is time for her next appointment and they also indicate what Bella will be needing. Really great service!
Im so glad I called here!! I had found a stray kitten in my backyard and decided to take him in because the eyes looked really bad. Because of covid, a lot of places werent taking new pets....Teressa went above and beyond to explain this me, but also told me that if someone cancelled for the day she would give me a call back. In the meantime, she gave me the names of 3 other places that could possibly help. I called all 3, except there were no appointments until Friday which meant i had wait 4 more days- which I didnt want to do....Luckily, someone cancelled and to my surprise, Teressa actually called me back to let me know this!!!...She didnt have to look out for me and she sure didnt have to call me back, but she did! .....She was amazing and Im so thankful for her!!! As far as the doctor who saw the kitten, Dr. Plowe was super nice and super informative. Even though we talked over the phone about the results of the exam, I could tell she was genuine and really cares about animals. Her voice didnt sound like some repetitive robot about the kittens condition. She had a conversation with me explaining how to use the medicine given and I could just tell she really gave a damn! ....Im not sure about the rest of the staff, but if theyre anything like Teressa and Dr. Plowe, just know your pets are in good hands and that they are definitely loved and cared for by the staff!!!

Best staff ever. They really care about animals. You can tell the whole staff does the work out of love & not just for the $$$ Dr. Plowe is amazing. I drive 45 minutes to get there. I wouldnt trust any vet more than her.
I use to bring my other dogs to Bevlab. My dogs were always treat like their own. Always great service .Now Im bringing my new pup there and getting the same GREAT SERVICE
My cat has been here multiple times over more than 10 years. i attempted to schedule an appointment online and waited days for a response only to call to make an appointment for the next week. the appointment, originally scheduled and agreed to one date and time verbally and by email, was changed only by email and no phone call or text message of the change was sent. the changed appointment time was missed, expecting the original time, and my still sick cat is still without an appointment. i shouldve scheduled a different vet when they didnt respond to the online appointment request. but my loyalty and naivety to this place delayed time my cat could have been seen. so disappointed. i understand covid has brought a lot of chaos, that is the exact reason communication should be more clear. this seemed so lazy, so disappointed
Bevlab is a wonderful place! Dr Lopez and her staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Lopez took extra time to sit and talk with me when my dog Brandi was at the end stages of kidney disease. Her kindness will never be forgotten. I highly recommend Bevlab!
This facility and its staff are wonderful. Followed Dr. Wardrip because she makes every experience memorable. Had to put down my cat 10 years ago. The compassion shown by her office during that time is something I will never forget. When I got my new kitty, there was no question as to who her doctor would be. Love her and this hospital. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have gone to them three times with my two dogs and I was very happy with them. I trust them and even though its a little bit of a drive its worth it. I made appointments and the wait was only a couple of minutes every time. Very professional, knowledgable and patient. I will not go anywhere else anymore. I am so glad I found them.
Ive been searching for a new clinic and Bevlab came up near me. Seen the reviews seemed good so I call in for a appt for my pup. Receptionist said Yeah were Currently not taking new patients 😞
Switched to Bevlab 3 years ago. The vets are awesome and really care about the animals. Gracie, my terrier, LOVES Dr. Nava! She is so kind and patient during visits. We saw Dr. Plow on Tuesday and she was equally caring and gentle! The Great place with great care for yourself furry family members😊
Ive been coming to Bevlab for more than 20 years. Every pet I have, as well as strays I pick up along the way have had the expertise and compassion of the staff and doctors at Bevlab. Dr. Leslie Plow walks on water as far as I am concerned. She has always cared for my kids like they are her very own. You can feel the warmth and love that surrounds her and that she gives to your pets. The staff are likewise warm, friendly and patient. They laugh, comfort and cry with you. At Bevlab Animal Hospital, you and your pets are family and thats the way they treat you.
Recently moved to the area from Arizona. Try finding a new vet., today, with the Covid situation!!!! My beloved dog requires seizure medication and labs to insure his meds are working appropriately. I contacted no less than 3 vet. offices before BevLab. Dr. Plowe recd and responded to the message I left with her front office assistant, explaining and asking for help. BevLab had cared for my Sons St. Bernard (Brutus was so large, who could forget) and now they care for my boy. Thanks Dr. Plowe and all her kind and compassionate staff. Donna R.N., BSN.
My dog was in pain and they got her in right away. They gave us some pain killers, a muscle relaxer l, and steroids and now she is feeling much better! I also liked that they had several staff there so we did not have to wait at all. I paid a very reasonable price and I would recommend Bevlab to everyone!

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Rightfully so, pet owners must stay in the car due to COVID. Communication is different. I never remember all my questions and concerns during that time theyre standing at my door. My dog is experiencing a reoccurring allergy related infection so its a time full of research and tests and trials.I called to make an appointment but said can I please speak with the doctor before the appointment? I have several questions and would like to ask a few before we come in. Irs been so much back and forth and im still a little confused.The receptionist put me on hold and eventually came back and said I would get a call back. Ten minutes later she returns my call and says the doctor says I should have already brought my dog back and this back and forth is completely necessary and maybe if I had brought her back sooner we wouldnt be in this predicament.He refused to get on the phone and speak with me. During COVID, when im not allowed to come in.Complete trash.
Dr. Lopez took great care of our dog. She knew how to handle him which was amazing since other vets were always nervous with our Akita. Bevlab seen him same day on 2 seperate occasions with no issues at all, each visit they understood the type of dog he is and promptly gave him a room to avoid any issues for everyone.Toothless has been to 2 different vets and each one was always nervous handling him which causes tension in the room... Dr. Lopez and her staff were fantastic with him and werent even afraid of our big teddy bear. I look forward to bringing both our Akitas to Bevlab. Thank you!
Bevlab has been a true blessing for our fur babies! They treat our dogs with such care and attention. The staff is amazing, and we appreciate being greeted by name and having our dogs addressed by name upon entering! I always recommend Bevlab to friends and family for their pet needs!
Over the years Ive had two cats who have needed surgeries and theyve done a great job both times. They are also are go-to regular vet. I specifically recommend Dr Plowe, Dr Nava and Dr Nevis (I had a less-than-stellar experience with another doctor there) But this team has done a great job and I can tell they actually care about my pets. Even the receptionists remember my cat who had a complicated surgery (and its not just because its on a file theyre looking at, because sometimes its as soon as I walk in). No place is perfect, but I think they are really doing their best here and I get more straight answers from them than other vets I used to use in the area.
I love how the doctors are truly interested in the health of my dog. Even during Covid when we couldnt go into the office with the dog, the doctor would call me on the phone while she was assessing Mitch. They are the best!
Im a longtime customer. I take my pets to see Dr. Plowe but all the doctors are very informative with the care of your pet(s). Ive met some when Dr. Plowe wasnt available. Only issue is the prices have went up significantly but its expected with the economy.
Took my dog to BevLab as a New Client. The staff at front desk are all nice and polite. My dog and I were taken to a room where a very nice tech named Robert took my dogs history. He was very nice and informative. He explained things to me that I was unclear about. Then Dr. Plowe came in and introduced herself. Gave my dog a very thorough exam , updated one of her shots that was due, and answered all my questions I had. She questioned the food and treats I was feeding my dog, and also made some great suggestions. I was not rushed, and I was very pleased with all the staff from start (making appt. Over the phone, to finish- my dog getting her nails cut. I also was introduced to the groomer and made an appt. For grooming. I was quite impressed with Dr. Plowe and staff and will be taking my dog to Bev Lab from now on. ❤❤
I brought my kitty cat in after not getting her into the vet for 4 years. They took care of her with the compassion Ive rarely seen in a veterinary clinic. I had to leave her during the day for a sedated procedure and felt perfectly at ease doing so.
Ive been taking my Morkie here for the past couple of years. They always provide excellent service. Even today during this pandemic I could see the smile in the assistants eyes when she came to the car to get my Lady. Exam and shots done within 15 mins. I would recommend Bevlab to any pet owner!
I have had mixed experiences here. Both wonderful (I couldnt had asked for anything better) and completely rude and uncaring. I havent been here since CoVid, but for most appointments, I was kept waiting for quite some time. Sometimes Ive had a dirty and unsanitary room, sometimes its clean. For a prescription refill, I work during Bevlabs business hours during the week and asked if they could mail it. I was told no, but they could hide the medication for pickup. When I called to confirm this was happening, I was told they dont do that. Theres no consistency. Even though I live a few blocks away, I wont go here.
Weve been clients for well over 20 yrs. Dr. Leslie Plow is just wonderful. We have the upmost confidence in her. You can tell she really cares about your pet family. Otis was our first rescue Rottie and he had a great life with even through diabetes, partial blindness and finally cancer. I know Dr. Leslie was hurting with us when we had to make that last decision. 2 more dogs and ten years and were still here. (personal opinion is Dr Leslies not allowed to retire completely)Staff is great and also very caring. Tries hard to accommodate your schedule for appts. Cant say enough good things about this practice.
The doctors and staff are wonderful and treat my dog like he’s their own. The groomer is likewise terrific and always gives him a great cut. I highly recommend them.
I had a cat in for dental work. They gave me an estimate of the procedures cost. The day of the surgery they called to tell me what they would be doing. Staff is friendly and genuinely care about your animals. Im ver happy with their work.
First time there but couldnt meet the vet. Covid rules dont allow it but she called me and talked to me and answered all my questions. Dr. Plowe seemed very knowledgeable and diagnosed a problem with my dog that no other vet had. Going to try her suggestions.
Bevlab has been my babys vet since we brought her home from the shelter. Always kind, compassionate, and patient with both an anxious mamma and kitty. No one likes going to the vet, but any doctor or tech from this team makes it as good as it gets. Ten stars.

Dr. Plow and Dr. Nevis have been wonderful with my cat. My cat has had many visits from neglected problems before we got her. I only trust Bevlab. Aliza (the cat) says thank you for always taking care of me!

I was looking for a new vet facility after having many unpleasant experiences with a previous one. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and was attended to. The Dr. and the assistant were so sweet to my cat when administering the vaccines. I loved that I wasnt rushed in and out, they wanted to answer my questions and gave me time to ask them. I look forward to future visits!
The care they give to your animal is unbelievable. Most pets dont appreciate going to the doc but once inside they seem to be very comfortable with the very friendly staff and then with the doctors. Many pets and different hospitals. .Bevlab is the very best! I thank them all.

My family has taken several generations of pets (two dogs, two birds, one cat) to BevLab over a period of 25+ years and we have never been disappointed with the services weve received. Ive had appointments with each of the vets currently on staff. Theyre all very knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. I never felt uncomfortable or rushed when coming in with a list of questions. Follow-up calls for lab work or other concerns are always prompt and thorough. I currently travel 30+ miles to get to BevLab. I dont want to shop around for a new vet when I know Im getting GREAT service at BevLab.
THEY SHOW NO COMPASSION FOR YOUR DECEASED OR ELDERLY PETS !When I brought my beloved dog in to be cremated they coldly handed me paperwork & then turned away even though I was sobbing uncontrollably years ago.Then recently a family member called crying about euthanizing an elderly & blind family member who had lost complete control of his body & was told WELL WE CLOSE IN 15 MINUTES.Again, absolutely NO compassion or sympathy was show for a place we had spent thousands treating our family dog at.
I recently moved back here from Colorado and I found this place and I am glad I did. Everyone there is very caring and gentle with the animals. They even remembered us after one visit. They are gentle with my dog Jack who is 14 and he doesn’t mind going there.I would recommend them to everyone!!!!
Seriously the best vet weve ever been to. Everyone there is so nice and Dr. Nava is great with pur dog. She always takes the time that is needed to answer all of our many questions. Highly recommend!
Sat in car for 30 extra minutes.Doctor was nice and gave my dog 2 month supply of pain pills. And bill was reasonable. I will xome back again.
I drove my sis to take her dog for a checkup, but the appointment ended up with the vet taking care of me. I am rather prone to fainting spells due to my weird heart and I happen to do just that, crumbling into unconsciousness right onto the floor. I woke up some seconds later in confusion to the face of the lady vet and she immediately calmed me down and told me where I was and what just happened. She then brought me a pillow, water, and a cookie, bless the dear woman.They offered to call the paramedics, but since Im visiting from out of state, the cost would have been quite prohibitive. The kind dears then offered to drive me back to my sisters house six minutes away to be taken care of my family. If I wasnt trying so hard to concentrate on not passing out again I would have cried from being so touched by their kindness. My family ended up grabbing an Uber over and took me home where I proceeded to nap for four hours.Ladies, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you most profoundly for yalls assistance and kindness. May yall be blessed with happiness 😘
If I could I would give the doctors and staff ten stars. Our fur baby, a 110 GSD, was put to sleep recently.The very first visit to Bevlab was so positive that we knew this was the place to meet the needs of our dog. Everyone was professional and caring. We adopted our dog Rock. We didnt know his history and we found out he was very agressive towards anyone outside the family. But even though he was so difficult to handle the vetenarians and staff worked with us to make sure all of his medical needs were met. We took him to Bevlab for his final visit. When we arrive we were given the privacy of a room and told to take our time saying goodbye. The compassionate shown by Dr. Nava and all of the staff made the procedure so much easier to witness. Thank you also Dr. Nevis. You all have always gone over and above in treating Rock for six years. Ten stars for Bevlab! Thank you all and see you with our next fur baby.Willie and Jennifer

Ive been bringing my Gabby for eleven years. They saved her life, when she was four months old. She swallowed a dime and a penny. The penny dissolved in her stomach because she was to little to pass, the coins. She had surgery and stayed in the hospital receiving blood fusions. A staff member donated the blood. Well here it is eleven years later and Gabbys still with us. They are angels... Love me some them.❤

Such great care is given and everyone is so sweet. They truly understand that our 4 legged children are just that - our children - and they make sure that you are well informed and that our children go to the doctor with the least amount of stress.
This is a great animal clinic and hospital. They have been my pets clinic for almost ten years. They have been the doctors for my dog, through end of life; cats; and helped me with a pregnant feral cat I adopted. There is a wide range of experience and a willingness to try different approaches within the medical realm, when the tried and true doesnt work. I cant say enough good things about them. Oh, they give a multi pet discount too!

I blame this hospital for the death of my Puppy. First of all their all rude. No professionalism what so ever. Makes you feel like their in it for the paycheck and not the love. Anywho my dog was in a erratic state my family and I rushed him there because it was closer and we live the next town over. We’re inside the lady say “I need to see if any dr would even see you” he’s all caught up on shots etc. finally we see someone. My dog is still under my little brother full command. The dr wanted to see his eyes which were fully Dialated and it didn’t take a rock scientist to know. My puppy is 14 pounds a little pup. A poodle terrier. Why it took 3 of them to hold him down and make him start having a sezier is beyond me. Then THEN THEN AS SOON AS THEY FORCE HIM TO HAVE ONE.THE DR TURNS TO ME AND IMMEDIATELY SAYS “well you need to take him somewhere that’s 24 hours because we Aren’t” I’m puzzled as hell at this point because he wasn’t in this condition at all upon bringing him there. She continues with I will give him a volume shot so you can make it to a 24 hour facility. The closes 24 faculty is approximately 20 mimuntes in Orland Park. So at least the cold heart B’s gave us a towel to wrap him in, still in a panic still seizing. We get back in to our car to take him to a 24 hour hospital. But not before charging me $175 for a volume shot. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR WORST ENEMY TO HOSPITAL.
I was pleased with the care and concern for my little Havana. She has a lot of allergies and the Dr. Worked with us to find a medication that worked for her Thanks again. My only suggestion would be a stronger air filter as there seemed to be a strong animal odor the day I was there.

Sadly I had to put my dog to sleep. Although he was not the first, and wont be the last, I have never had a better experience. Dr. Plowe took plenty of time to talk with me and made the ordeal a little bit easier. I will never take any of my animals anywhere else.
I would watch how they charge you for visits and don’t tell you everything your pet needs to make you come back only to charge you for more visits. Office manager rude and a bit crazy. I was trying to get clarification on a bill and was hung up on and told not to come back when I called back. I would go elsewhere. You also have to walk through an entire lawn and sidewalk of dog poop.
Have brought my dogs to Bevlab for years...such great service from the receptionist, vet techs to the doctors.
Dr. Nevis is a vet who specializes in amphibians. Our tortoise needed to be seen and she was great. Would highly recommend.
All of the doctors and staff are wonderful. I have been taking my pets there for over 40 yrs. I refer all my friends and anyone I meet with a new or old pet to them.
Theyre always so friendly & if the problem with your pet is serious enough, theyll over-book themselves just to get you in right away. They really do care about the animals they treat & it shows!!
They have treated all of our cats gentle, compassionate and professional care. Whether its routine care or a health crisis, we can count on them.
They have some of the most loving doctors and they dont just rush you in and out. Been taking all our pets there for years and always happy with the service.
The service and care that the staff gives is second to none. I just cant day enough abt The treatment my dog received. And the follow up with phone calls to verify that what ever treatment was given is going well :-)
I am so glad I found this place! Everyone loves their job here. My babe never leaves upset. They have always made sure to send lots of reminders for routine care.

2022-03-19We absolutely love BevLab! My cat Boots and I have been coming to see Dr. Nava and Dr. Plowe and her staff for several years now and I know that my animal is in good hands when I’m there. Everyone is so kind and compassionate, and they treat my pet like I would treat her. Their facility is clean, inviting and they really go out of their way to make you as an owner feel supported and comforted knowing your pet is in great hands.

2021-04-25Bevlab was referred to me by a friend and I thank her everyday. Bevlab has been the best to me and my babies, Duke and Brodie and Brodie is a handful. However, Bevlab is professional, organized, trustworthy and they truly love our pets and care about the welfare of our babies. My two are groomed, boarded and receives all shots and any medical attention here. One stop shop sorta speak. They are amazing and they recommended my trainer who is also great. As you see they are very well taken care and Brodie likes to watch TV lol well, Bevlab is the place that treats your pet like there own.

2022-06-07I have been going to Bevlab for over 15 years. Well, I was until the pandemic. It seems like every few months now since the pandemic they have a new excuse for limited curbside service. Which would be a very understandable service change in 2020/21. But as of June 2022, they are citing construction as the reason for this curbside service. It is time to stop this now… I also noticed that they recently introduced an offsite call-center service. I just don’t feel comfortable taking my most beloved living creatures and handing them off to somebody I can’t see or talk to. I have a feeling this place is going down the tubes unfortunately. It’s really sad because they had some great vets and in the past, they were very helpful. I hope this isn’t a foreboding sign, and I hope the business improves again. It is not doing well right now.

2021-11-04Dr. Plowe is a great vet and really takes the time to walk me through all the details to keep my dogs healthy. Vet techs are so knowledgeable and kind. The Office staff turn into friends, they know my dogs and details of their health. Sue the groomer is loving, kind and very patient. I never worry about my dogs treatment they are always in good hands!

2021-09-16Bevlab is great! Milo had his first appointment here yesterday. The place is super clean, staff super-friendly and professional. Dr. answered all the questions and concerns I had. All procedures were thoroughly explained as well as the medication for Milo. Blood-work results are prompt (got them today). I could not have entrusted my pup with a better care team. The prices are a bit on the higher side, however it is worth the pay.
